In the sandwich, the tomato ended up being more noticeable than the meat, and since I was expecting the milanesa to be the star of the dish, I was a little disappointed. That said, the bread was fantastic. The gnocchi were good overall. I really enjoyed the pink sauce, although the pasta itself seemed just a bit overcooked. To finish the meal, we ordered cappuccinos. They were wonderfully creamy, though I personally would have liked the coffee to be a little stronger. The medialunas were excellent--fresh, soft, buttery, and delicious. To top off the night, I took home a box of ham and cheese tea sandwiches (sándwiches de miga). This morning I toasted a couple for breakfast, and honestly, it was the best part of my day so far.
