Azumare! With the name they are playing with a popular Peruvian expression: Asu Madre! (A very common word that expresses surprise. Like saying "wow"). I would describe the concept as Latin Asian Fusion Kosher with an emphasis on Peruvian cuisine. You can tell a lot about a restaurant by how clean the restroom is; this one is fine. Any good Peruvian restaurant will start you off with "cancha" Kind of like warm bread and butter at a French restaurant:). What is cancha in Peru? Cancha Serrana (Peruvian Oil-Roasted Corn Snack) Cancha Serrana, or Peruvian Corn Nuts, is large-kernel corn that is soaked in water until it puffs and then fried to produce a crunchy and salty snack. Light golden yellow to tan. Flavor typical of corn. Fried in vegetable oil. I started off with the Tuna Causa (La causa de mi gordura:) and had nice presentation and the flavors were very good. Peruvian Causa A perfect dough of mashed potato with aji amarillo (yellow chilli peppers), lemon, mayonnaise and layered with avocado What is Peruvian causa made of? A Peruvian Causa or Causa limeña (from Lima) is a Peruvian dish made of layers of mashed potato and filled with chicken, tuna or other more modern alternatives. The ingredients for Peruvian causa are mainly Peruvian yellow potatoes and ají amarillo paste (Peruvian yellow chilli). Then we ordered a sushi dish: Tajada 360 Salmon, cream cheese, avocado and kani rolled sweet plantain with eel sauce. (No Rice) This was a quick try for the restaurant so I didn't ask for too much, but we ended the meal with a "Suspiro Limeno" What is Suspiro de Limeña? Suspiro de limeña (or suspiro a la limeña, or suspiro limeño) means 'sigh of a Lima lady' (or 'Lima sigh'), not to be confused with simple suspiros, which are meringue 'kisses'. It is a two-part dessert: a sweet caramel base, made from slowly heated milk and sugar, topped with a sweet Italian meringue. And then no good meal can skip the double espresso:). The chef was kind enough to come to our table and greet us. Super nice guy/muy buena gente! His name is Ari and he is Venezuelan and Jewish. So that's it for now for Azumare. I like to try a place a few times before giving 5 stars. Bottom line: nice place, interesting idea, will be back for sure!:)

Delightful restaurant tucked away in the Knights hotel. It was very difficult to find. Inside was very well laid out and inviting. The staff were very friendly. We ordered the Azumare salad. It was fresh with the blend of olive, tomato, jalapeño, mint, radish, onion, and house dressing. It was not what I was expecting, but this was an exceptional salad. Salad was plenty to share. Also, we ordered the Green Dragon Volcano sushi roll. It had tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, cream cheese, avocado, crab and crispy onion. This was an exceptional sushi roll. My wife rarely enjoys crab, but she raved about this. The final dish we ordered was the Coco Explosion sushi roll. It was a sweeter sushi roll. It was good as well, but not as good as the other too. If you are in the mood for seafood in the Hollywood FL area, I highly recommend you visit.

Keep looking you'll find it! Very hidden on the side of a "motel" like spot. Very friendly upon arrival. Greeted us at the table with a welcome shot which tasted amazing (non alcoholic). I ordered the most amazing sangria with a coconut popsicle. Open layout with very comfortable seating. Soft chill music playing at the perfect volume. We ordered the crispy tuna rice, tajada 360 rolls and trio ceviche OMG everything was so delicious. Our waiter Gabriel was great from start to finish.

Service was super attentive and quick -- our food came out fast and everything felt smooth even with a large party. The flavors were really good and everything tasted fresh. The Neapolitan milanesa completely stole the show. It's HUGE and comes with two sides, so definitely think about sharing. Portions here are generous in general. Prices are a little on the higher side, but it's worth it because the food is actually really tasty. Do not skip dessert. The tiramisu is one of the best I've had -- so good. The flan wasn't my favorite, but I'd still 100% come back and just order the tiramisu again.

Overall, this place is worth checking out for yourself. I imagine all their food is as good as this.

We were very welcomed walking through the door. We were offered seating inside or out. The Floridians feel the weather is too muggy to sit outside, we were more than happy to do so. A word of caution, you are on a very busy street when you sit outside, so there is a good deal of traffic noise. To begin, they bring out a plate of four types of bread, along with a tray with green and black olives and a red tangy spread. This was quite good. We started out with an empanada appetizer. You have a choice of four kinds, we went with spinach. Before the appetizer arrived, the waitress brought out a plate of bread and olives. We are off to an excellent start. When the empanadas showed up, we were provided 8 cups of dips, six of which were different toppings to put on the appetizer. We tried them all. From barbecue sauce to salt, hummus, and a tomato based sauce, we had fun tasting the different flavors. For the entree, both of us went with the Outside skirt steak. We went this route as it was recommended by the waitress as one of their more signature dishes. We went with it prepared, medium. A short time later, the meal arrived, both of which were the 14 ounce portion. They do offer a larger portion if you're super hungry. The steak was slightly overcooked, but not enough to ruin the mood. The steak was flavorful, but a bit on the fatty side. I get the fat as it adds flavor so it really was not an issue. The meals come à la carte. So we ordered steamed broccoli and sweet potato fries. Overall good experience. A place I would return to again.

In the pictures there are both and it was 9$ for basically canned soup. Tasted awful. Ordered spinach croquettes. They were tiny but delicious, well prepared and worth it. Ordered Moro rice-inedible. Dry. Dry. Dry. And the only flavor was salt. Not sure why they would send the last bit of rice from the pot that sat out all day, but that is what I got. Ordered vegetables-the picture is broccoli, cauliflower and carrots in garlic sauce. I got a few pieces of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions and some cucumbers. That pissed me off since it was not at all what I ordered. Maybe I ordered the wrong things, because the review here are pretty positive. Tried to call the restaurant to see why they didn't include the actual vegetables and decided a salad was a good substitute. No answer. So I won't be eating from here again. Disappointed.
