Literally ate 2 beans. 1 aventura sushi roll, it was ok. It was edible but not good just ok. A very loud DJ inside, but the us. Playing was actually pretty good. I believe it may be a kosher restaurant with a modern, trendy flare. Food was no bueno and it thrives to have a vibe. Prices way too high for what it is. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. :/

We also had their peach tea, dragon fruit and strawberry mint drinks. I enjoyed the jalapeño double burger, fries, and strawberry mint drink.

They didn't even slice it in half and it was barely held together. A bunch of teenagers work there. It's a mess.

And added bonus is that it was kosher as is everything else in this market. I would definitely come back, especially on a Friday because I was here on a Wednesday and disappointingly enough matzo ball soup is only made on Fridays.

I ordered the Chicken Shwarma with Turkish rice. My daughter ordered the same thing with veggie quinoa. I don't usually eat this type of food but was in the mood for something different. It is worth noting Yalla Motek is mostly Kosher. The food is Kosher but they are open Saturdays and the process is not overseen by a Rabbi. Either way, I ate half my meal and brought home the other half. They give big portions. I really didn't care for the flavor of the meal overall. I could eat it but should have ordered something else. The food is high quality but it is not for me. The staff were very warm and hospitable. I did enjoy the Tahiti on the side. I will probably eat here again but would order something else.

He was my guide. This was new to me. The menu is on a big board on top. It is a simple menu. To the left they had fried bread, peppers and vegetables to add to the meal, like condiments. You take what ypu like. After you place your order, you get a table and wait for your order. Everything here is made fresh and mostly right infront of you. They even make the bread fresh. When is time for your order. You can customize your sandwich as in extra things inside. They had hummus, hot sauce, tahini sauce sauce, cucumbers, onions, etc. Someone ordered for me so I don't know the name. I loved what I had. The flavors were on point. I tasted the chicken sandwich and liked the flavors. The chicken was breaded and had a little crunch. I had a shredded beef type sandwich. I had not tasted this type of seasonings before and liked it. It was a good sandwich. Both sandwiches were a good portion size. The hummus was delicious and simple. The breaded eggplant and onions a must have. I enjoyed everything. The service was good. The staff doesn't engaged unless you ask a question. They are all serious here. I wish the restaurant had music playing to smooth things a little. I thought this was a good find. The food excellent.

We arrived and there was a wait but it's a small little place so we waited outside until another group of people came and started smoking so we went inside ... When we saw that one of the tables was available and there was really no place to stand, one of us went over to start to sit down (as a solution) and the waitress whose name was Lulli or Lolli started yelling at us telling us that she had to clean first and I said yeah, but there's no place for stand and she yelled that we had to wait. Now, if you've been to Israel, you'll know that people are pretty rude. Kind of nasty they yell at each other we all know and accept it. And you kind of expect it if you go to an Israeli restaurant coz you're gonna get treated poorly. They act like you're bothering them. Of course it's not true of all Israeli restaurants but it's a generalization that's pretty spot on. Once you do get seated and she calms her ass down, you order the most amazing lemonade with fresh lemon, mint, and blended with ice that is to perfection. There's a spread already on the table of small little salads, chickpeas, carrots a lot of cabbage beets etc , to pick on while you're choosing from the extensive Israeli food on the menu . They have all the great Middle Eastern foods that you'll find in Israel . The hummus, the baba ghanoush, the falafel, the amazing is really salad with all the fresh herbs and the delicious fresh ingredients. Five of us spent about $22 each and had the best time despite our waitress and the leaky ceiling and the pretty dingy decor , but that's why we come here. Oh, and the tip is included in the price, which is probably why your waitress doesn't give a damn if you like her or not. We will be returning here for that Lemonanna and overlook Loli or whatever her name was.
