    Lamb gyro

This Greek restaurant served an awesome lamb gyro. So delicious. I sat outside on a nice day made for a pleasant eating experience. The only flaw is a small menu of choices. It would be nice to see a larger selection.

We've eaten here a few times - mid afternoons and early evenings. Always been a great experience. Generally order the republic chips appetizer and the Horiatiki salad with grilled chicken accompanied by a cold beer. Moussaka was good too. We'll continue to go whenever in the area - sure beats eating at the expensive and underwhelming places in the nearby mall! Definitely recommended.

First time eating here but it won't be my last. Amazing food and good service, highly recommend.

Had lunch at this Greek Mediterranean restaurant in a strip mall in the Aventura area North Miami. I had the Greek Salad $15. It was good but the cucumbers were refrigerator tasting. I also had the Spanakopita $14 and it was delicious. Someone said the Moussaka $23 had too much meat. Our server was very nice. This casual place should probably be counter service instead of server service.

We have been going to Fetta Republic for many years and usually we get either the Gyro platters or lamb chops Today I wanted to taste the chicken Gyro platter. I would never order it again. First of all it was over price for the little bit of chicken they put in. It was bite-size pieces for a child and the portion was for a child. It was extremely dry. We ordered other platters also but this one I highly don't recommend but never order it again , wasted $25

Lentil soup-- available every day. Flavorful and perfect portion

I'm excited to have found this authentic greek restaurant. Since I'm always in the area and tend to visit the same places for lunch, I will definitely be back. Our server was attentive and the food was prepared quickly-- the location on Yelp needs to be updated as this is closer to the Winn-Dixie than Michaels/Homegoods as is shown on the address. There is lots of parking available (always a plus). The lemonade is refreshing and not overly-sweet. Appetizer "chips" are small pieces of lightly toasted bread. We tried the hummus and tzatziki, both were delicious. The lentil soup is the perfect texture, not watery but also not super chunky. Flavorful and the portion is just right. The falafel wrap was filling, however it was missing some flavor imo but would order again. Don't forget dessert! The Baklava is served in a generous portion, enough for two to share. It is unique in that there is quite a bit of cinnamon added on top. If you are not a fan of this spice I would recommend letting them know beforehand.

An excellent Greek restaurant in Aventura! Loved the food. Fresh. Plentiful. Fast! A very clean establishment. Service can be improved. We were checked on once and other times we had to flag down our server. No pork on the menu - I felt very comfortable eating here. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

We left my mom's appointment and were looking for a quick bite to eat. I was scared nothing would be open for dine-in so I called ahead and Fetta Republic was open. We were the only customers there. The place was clean and very well lit. And the girl helping us was very kind and patient. She brought us waters right away and we ended up ordering the Gyro Platter off the bat. It was the perfect amount of food for my mom and I. It came with plenty of gyro meat, pitas, a small house salad. and some French fries. The price was fair and the entire process took less than 30 min from the minute we walked in, to signing the check and walking out. I'll definitely be back here to check out more things on the menu. But for a quick gyro bite, this was the perfect place.

Clean, spacious, friendly staff and nice portion sizes. What's not to like? I recently came here craving some Greek, food but not looking to pay South beach prices or looking for fast food. I found it to be a very comfortable neighborhood restaurant. I had the chicken souvlaki. It's came with a side salad, fries or rice and pita for 20 bucks. I thought everything was good. The chicken was piping hot which i always like and the fries were crispy. While not the best chicken souvlaki I've ever had it was good and I would definitely come back.

Walking down to the entrance I walked past two REALLY jammed restaurants. It made me wonder when I got close BUT - WOW was the food great! I got saganaki, the tzatziki appetizer, and the gyro plate with double greek salad. Coming from Chicago my GYRO expectations are always high and Fetta Republic totally delivered! GO. THERE. NOW.

Came back once again to this amazing place! The flavors and food is to no comparison anywhere else !!! Spanakopita - talk about divine flavors !!! The herbs create an amazing flavor that blends nicely with feta and spinach. Very light, but filling appetizer that opens up the pallets. Chicken Gyro - how can you go wrong with that ?! It is very juicy and flavorful! It is absolutely scrumptious!! Moussaka - is it better than lasagna ? I think so! It is freshly made with powerful and 'inviting' flavors that you never want to separate and keep on having more and more and more !!! The egg plant flavor and the ground beef were very juicy and enjoyable! Another amazing experience

The last two times I've gone with my family and ordered the special for 4 or more at $45.00 a head. They bring you every Greek specialty in different platters(Dips, Meats, appetizers, seafood, etc) which is excellent and always plenty to take home. The first time the waiter didn't just have time and wants you in and out but had plenty of time to add an 18% gratuity ($55.00) before pushing us out. This week we went for my daughter's birthday (mentioned, received nothing but again that gratuity over $50) Food was excellent, never saw the waiter, big platters of food that we all shared out of dessert plates for each of us, the food kept coming , the plates were never changed to a dinner plate, we had our whole dinner on dessert plates, food all over the table (2 small children) never cleaned up, I asked for more napkins and a stack of thin cocktail napkins were put on our table. As for the ambience, if you choose to be inside during the bellydancing show- be prepared to be overstimulated and not be able to hear anything that your table was saying to you. Make sure you're in the mood for extremely loud music and chaos all over. if you're in the headspace, it's a great time! If you're not in the mood for the madness, eat outside! I literally can't wait to go back to this restaurant... PS obviously beach parking can be complicated but they have valet for five bucks, which is really helpful!

The moment we walked in, we were transported right back to Greece. The décor is beautiful and authentic without feeling forced. Every detail adds to the charm of the space. The whipped feta dish was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the zucchini chips were perfectly cooked they were light, crisp, and addictive. My daughter ordered the non-alcoholic dragon fruit "martini" and absolutely loved it. It was tropical, refreshing, and felt like a special treat. I went with the white sangria. The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.
