We ordered a pitcher of kompot (boiled fruit drink), a large cold pickle plate (the garlicky peppers were AMAZING), hummus, lamb samsa, a cheesy hachapuri, and of course the amazing Uzbek bread (non, or lepyoshka). A nice hot clear chicken broth with pieces of dark meat chicken, carrot, and potato. I will be ordering this again. The beef Samosa was surprisingly delicious. I was expecting ground beef and when it arrived it had small pieces of beef and onion inside a crispy shell may was soft and chewy inside. The tomato based sauce for dipping was fresh as well. We waited around 40 minutes for our order even though there were only a couple of people sitting there drinking tea. We also had to remind the waitress about the check and our change, and in the end she told us she didn't have enough change -- so we never received the rest of our money back. The live music is something else, with talented Armenian singers and melodies that are as soulful as life itself. Aside from the khachapuri cheese pies, the kharcho soup is phenomenal. There are Armenian and Georgian wines on the menu, which really cannot be missed. The vibe is truly transformative into a land far away from Miami and perhaps, even a different time.
