Finally made it to CAVA on a Wednesday around 12:30 PM after all the hype. The place was packed with about 20 people ahead of me, but the line moved quickly. It was a little hot inside, almost like the AC wasn't working, which was noticeable given how crowded it was. Once I reached the first server, I let her know it was my first time, and she took the time to explain how everything worked. I really appreciated that. There were also screens explaining the process, and I loved that there were stickers on the glass listing ingredients for the proteins, grains, and sauces. That was very helpful for first timers. As I moved down the line, the experience dipped a bit. The other servers weren't rude, but they weren't friendly either. No greetings, just very neutral. Service wise, it felt a little inconsistent. You get one complimentary protein (chicken) or can choose two proteins. I added the braised lamb, which came with a $3.50 upcharge. That part honestly annoyed me. If I had ordered only braised lamb, it would've been a full serving for $3.50, but since I added it as a second protein, I was charged the same amount for half a serving. That didn't make sense to me, but now I know better for next time. I ordered a brown rice bowl with various toppings. The green jalapeño sauce was really good, and the harissa sauce had a nice kick. The braised lamb was the staR. Very flavorful. Once everything was mixed together, the bowl was honestly vetu good. I'd definitely go back, just at a different time of day. Parking wasn't an issue at all since it's in a large plaza shared with other stores and restaurants. Food quality: 4.7/5 Overall experience: 3.5/5

Love CAVA. This location is way more convenient than the new Brickell one because of the parking lot alone. It does get busy and I waited about fifteen minutes in line, but they had plenty of staff and were clearly doing their best to keep things moving. The food is always fresh and delicious. CAVA never misses and I'll definitely keep coming back. The space is clean and casual, similar to Chipotle, and perfect for a quick meal

I stopped in to the New Cava Aventura location and was immediately impressed by how fresh everything looked and how fast the line moved, even though it was busy. The staff was super friendly and patient while I built my bowl, offering suggestions and letting me sample a couple of things before deciding. I ended up with a grain bowl loaded with spicy lamb, harissa, hummus, pickled onions, cucumbers, olives, and all the good sauces on top (the crazy feta is my fav) . Every bite was packed with flavor the toppings were fresh, the meat was seasoned perfectly, and the sauces tied everything together without being too heavy. The pita on the side was warm and soft, perfect for scooping up all the extra toppings. The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and easy to sit and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed, even though it's in the mall. For the quality and portion size, the price feels more than fair. If you're at Aventura Mall and want something quick but actually delicious and satisfying, Cava Aventura is a must. I'll definitely be back!

As we entered, we were warmly greeted by the lovely Sarah, the hostess who presented both of us with a glass of champagne! That was a class act. We were also impressed by how beautiful the entry and the bar area were decorated in glass, lush plants, and darker woods 2 stories high with small lights everywhere. Very upscale, classy and romantic. We were seated in a very comfortable plush booth and were greeted by our server, Amalya, who was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We planned to share a few appetizers and a meal. We ordered the Japanese Gyoza tray, which was delicious and satisfying. For our main dish, we ordered the Lobster Spaghetti and soon as we took a bite, we both said "Mmmmm!". It was very good with perfect seasoning and nice sized lobster pieces. Good pick. We added the HH Truffle fries as a side and they were extra special. We had a very nice birthday meal. Parking is close by in a huge parking lot. It is ADA compliant as is Joey. We will definitely return again.

Our waitress was simply amazing and so personable. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food the seafood pasta was a huge hit not what I ordered but I was able to try it and it was simply amazing. Not too heavy, pasta cooked to perfection, and the sauce was light but rich! i started my meal with the seafood soup which was just okay nothing to rave about. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled octopus appetizer as my entree and devoured the pistachio cheesecake for dessert. Music was peaceful and complimented the vibe throughout the night. Also, I had to push my reservation back 30 min I called a couple hours ahead of time and they accommodated us with pleasure. Will be back here the next time I'm in Miami for sure!

You might find yourself making a U-Turn to get into the development. Then there is the gate (which isn't a problem when you say you are going to the restaurant) but then, you can't park or be let off in front of the place. Access is further down the road with a short walk back through the dock area. Anyway... Sitting outside for dinner, it was quiet, as one might imagine with the above noted. Service was great and the food was mixed. The Focaccia Bread with Rosemary and Garlic might actually be a reason alone to come back and give it another try. The BEET SALAD - Roasted beets, salad mix, honey dressing, pesto, burrata, toasted almonds was very enjoyable. However, the SPAGHETTI CARBONARA - Silky white sauce, crisp bacon, rich egg yolk, aged parmesan needed to have its game turned up a notch, as there wasn't much taste to it.

The service was top notch our waitress made great recommendations and was very attentive and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered the hugo spritz which has always been one of my favorite drinks to order in Italy after an afternoon spent sightseeing and walking around because the drink is so perfectly refreshing and not overly sweet which I love. The Hugo spritz was absolutely amazing, so much better than I expected, and brought me right back to the streets of Rome. Highly recommend! To start our meal we ordered the crispy polenta and it was a great way to start our meal. I absolutely love polenta and had never had it served this way so I was really excited to try it and it didn't disappoint it was absolutely delicious. The polenta was crispy and warm served over a layer of Cacio e Pepe cream sauce with fresh grated Parmesan cheese. Such a simple dish but done so well and in a way I've never had before. We ordered a Margherita pizza and the braised short rib ravioli of the day to share. The Margherita pizza was very good, the dough was cooked perfectly, and it was another simple dish done well. The ravioli was just OK, but we were expecting something wow for the $50 price point, it was definitely NOT WORTH IT. Portion size for the price of this dish was very small and the ravioli itself wasn't very impressive it was lacking in flavor and the short rib inside was a bit too dry. We were also expecting a bit more as far as the pasta went, it didn't have that fresh homemade ravioli taste, the pasta itself didn't taste homemade or was anything special. The dish was simply ok, but again very expensive for what you get. We ended our meal with the tiramisu which was also just ok, not anything special, and definitely not worth the $15 price point. It was served in a small tea cup so portion size was small and didn't taste at all like a traditional tiramisu. Even a double espresso here cost $7 which again is a bit overpriced for what you get. To put it in perspective, for two people for lunch our check was $200 and the restaurant already included 20% gratuity even though we were just two people (most restaurants add the gratuity for parties of 6 or more). I forgot to mention, that dining here they didn't bring any bread to the table either when we sat down, so I'm assuming that would have been an additional charge as well. So although we enjoyed our drinks and the meal, for the price point I don't think we will be back again.

We've been hitting up Mediterranean restaurants like nobody's business on this leg of our spring…read morebreak, in part because of our proximity to many, and in part because my progeny and I are currently obsessed with babaganoush in its many variations. For this particular dinner, we were also focused on finding a truly vegetarian friendly restaurant where we could take our dear friends. Kabobji was a wonderful choice for vegetarians, omnivores, and carnivores alike. It's a large restaurant with plenty of booths and large tables for gathering with friends and family. Someone I suspect to be an owner was working hard alongside his wait staff and displayed a sense of genuine hospitality. Above all, the restaurant has a rock solid kitchen. The falafel ($13.99 / 5 pieces) here were ****STELLAR****!!! They're shaped like Indian medu vada (fried with a hole in the middle), probably for the same reason: to allow as much of the surface to fry to that perfect golden crisp as possible. And Kabobji's falafel were, in fact, awesomely crisp and well textured, made from soaked chickpeas in the traditional style, perfectly sized, nuanced and subtle in flavor -- some of the best we can remember having. (For reference, we love Nish Nush and Tanoreen for falafel in NYC -- and I think our neighborhood must be one of the major international epicenters for falafel.) Also excellent: the baba ghannouj ($10.99 for the small size), just a bit chunky, enriched with a lot of tahini, a moderate amount of garlic, a touch of lemon. This is how we like to make it at home. The vegetable ghallaba platter ($20.99) was simply made with thinly sliced onions and bell peppers, a small amount of zucchini, I think, and a touch of tomato. I would've loved to have had a spritz of lemon or sprinkle of sumac for a more acidic component, perhaps a little less onion. Note that this dish works better as a main course when accompanied by something protein-y like hummus, but it was pleasant to eat alongside our other orders. A convive, who went with the mixed shawarma platter ($27.99), found it to be a generous portion size and enjoyed it, especially with a side of well composed fattoush salad (+$5.99 to upgrade). Beef shish kebab ($14.99) and lamb shawarma ($15.99) wraps were both excellent and moist, a good balance of protein and vegetable. I didn't try them, but the "cheese pies" ($12.99) turned out to be pitas covered with a large amount of melty white cheese that some young children might enjoy as pizza. (Mine probably would've found them to be "too cheesy," but they're mutants.) They came three to an order. When you dine in, they bring a big basket of warm pita / pida to the table -- quite a generous touch!! I think it's house made and of course went beautifully with our food. Bottom line: GREAT FALAFEL! Great, low-key, family-friendly vibe. Good for vegetarians and non-vegs. Go.

Some of us switched it up and tried the spicy fish, sautéed shrimp, and the mixed shawarma platter. No regrets. The fish was so flavorful and the perfect size. LollllpThe rest of us stuck to the kabobs and lamb, which are consistently a safe bet. The space is great too.
