If I could give it 20 stars I will. The service and the food were PERFECT. Everything fresh and delicious and the baklava was OMG! Also the owner-cook Abby was really sweet! You will not be disappointed!

Avoid this place at all costs…read more This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The falafel was terrible, the chicken kebob plate was awful, and the overall food quality was completely unacceptable for somewhere calling itself Mediterranean cuisine. The dish claimed to come with peppers there was literally one tiny piece in the entire kebab. The chicken had no flavor and tasted poorly, and the rice was completely off, more like Mexican rice than anything remotely Mediterranean. What's even more frustrating is the way the staff handled it. When we raised concerns, they didn't take any responsibility and brushed it off as if the issue was on us. No attempt to fix the problem, no acknowledgment just dismissive and unprofessional. And somehow, they charge a mandatory 20% service fee for this. For what? There was zero service, zero care, and zero effort to make things right. Charging customers extra while delivering this level of food and attitude is unacceptable. Do not waste your time or money here. There are far better options out there. Honestly, I'd take store-bought hummus from Publix over this. If you actually want good Mediterranean food and proper service, go to Ethos instead it's night and day. This place is not worth it.

You walk in and there's generations of photos on the walls and employees that have been there since day 1. Food is always consistent and that's not something you come by these days. Salads are loaded on the table like you walked into an Israeli grandmas house and you can't beat the price for what you get. Screw the mainstream places that charge an arm and a leg that don't even bring you back to your roots. Go and enjoy what it's really like to feel well fed and at home

We arrived and there was a wait but it's a small little place so we waited outside until another group of people came and started smoking so we went inside ... When we saw that one of the tables was available and there was really no place to stand, one of us went over to start to sit down (as a solution) and the waitress whose name was Lulli or Lolli started yelling at us telling us that she had to clean first and I said yeah, but there's no place for stand and she yelled that we had to wait. Now, if you've been to Israel, you'll know that people are pretty rude. Kind of nasty they yell at each other we all know and accept it. And you kind of expect it if you go to an Israeli restaurant coz you're gonna get treated poorly. They act like you're bothering them. Of course it's not true of all Israeli restaurants but it's a generalization that's pretty spot on. Once you do get seated and she calms her ass down, you order the most amazing lemonade with fresh lemon, mint, and blended with ice that is to perfection. There's a spread already on the table of small little salads, chickpeas, carrots a lot of cabbage beets etc , to pick on while you're choosing from the extensive Israeli food on the menu . They have all the great Middle Eastern foods that you'll find in Israel . The hummus, the baba ghanoush, the falafel, the amazing is really salad with all the fresh herbs and the delicious fresh ingredients. Five of us spent about $22 each and had the best time despite our waitress and the leaky ceiling and the pretty dingy decor , but that's why we come here. Oh, and the tip is included in the price, which is probably why your waitress doesn't give a damn if you like her or not. We will be returning here for that Lemonanna and overlook Loli or whatever her name was.

Motek offers up one of the best happy hour specials in Aventura!…read moreMonday-Friday 2PM-6PM, they have a $5 happy hour special offering up several food and beverage options! Its one great deal and also a great way to experience their food if you're not sure what you like. We sat outside in the patio area and it was definitely a busy time. So service was a little on the slow side but understandable with the amount of people there. The outdoor patio area is really nice and breezy. Probably not the best idea on a sunny day. But the decor is beautiful and the flowers make it feel like a mediterranean paradise. My fav thing to munch on are the zaatar fries. They are so yummy and the portion is really good for $5. The chicken skewers are also delicious. For cocktails I had the rum berry-tini which was absolutely amazing! The combination of the lemon juice with the berry blend are really refreshing and blends well with the bacardi. The addition of the prosecco gives it a fizz which is very tantalizing to the taste buds. Great place to stop for happy hour or dinner!

The service can lag quite a bit once they get busy, and I also felt like the cleanliness could have been better. Our table didn't feel particularly clean, which is something I definitely notice when I'm dining out. Nothing was necessarily terrible, and the food itself was good, but overall it was just an okay experience. There are other places I'd probably choose to go to first.

Man the flavor of this ciabatta was so perfectly woven together that ever bite was like discovering a new flavor in my sandwich. The spot was very tranquil and we loved the books and decor. Especially the funny bathroom sign. The two gals that attended us were so sweet and explained to us the items on the menu... especially the very yummy Tuna sandwich that apparently the tuna is from Italy which is definitely what i will be coming back to eat next time now.
