I've only been here one time and I'm already looking forward to my next visit so I can try some more items from their menu! The place is spotless which is as important to me as the quality and taste of food. The young girl that helped me was nice but other than that I really didn't have much interaction with anyone else in the restaurant. I ordered a falafel pocket which had their famous hummus on it and I just can't stop thinking of how delicious it was. The falafel ( ground chickpeas and spices) were some of the best I've ever eaten and the Israeli salad that was also on it was so fresh and flavorful. I asked for some of their homemade pickles on the side and they were so good with just the right a amount of tartness but not at all overbearing. Like I said, I will definitely be returning here to try other menu items. I'm really hoping they are successful in this spot in a small strip mall as I've seen many restaurants occupy this spot that just don't seem to last. If you're in the area I would absolutely suggest stopping in for some tasty food.

We met some friends here from out of state for dinner. They are kosher and one is vegetarian. Luckily we like all Mediterranean/middle eastern cuisine. The casual restaurant is in a shopping center with other kosher stores. It was easy to find on the north side of the street. You order and pay at the counter and they deliver the food to you at your table. We decided to share a few things. My husband and I got their felafel hummus bowl. The felafel were freshly made and perfectly cooked. I liked the taste of the creamy hummus. My husband liked the babaghanoush. I love eggplant in any form. This was slightly chunky, but to me a bit bland. The salad was very good -- lots of seeds and nuts in it. We got some of their lemon garlic mix and used it on the salad like dressing. The meal came with two pieces of soft and fluffy pita bread. We had some of our meal leftover to take home. If you like spicy, ask for zhug or shug-- it's chopped up hot peppers with garlic and coriander. Our friends had a felafel pita sandwich and the other had a vegetarian dish that looked like meat, but was made from grilled mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Sorry, I didn't get the name. It was served on top of hummus. The restaurant uses plastic ware and disposable bowls. The food comes on a paper covered metal tray. So obviously not a place you need to dress up for... But it was perfect for us to sit and talk and catch up.

We met friends here for an early dinner and to catch up on things. The other couple are Kosher Vegan and had been here before. My wife found this place on Yelp and was happy to hear that they enjoyed the food here. My wife and I shared a Hummus bowl with five Falafel balls, some Babaghanoush and a mixed salad. The Hummus bowl was a very creamy smooth delicious serving and the falafel was very good. I liked the Babaghanosh very much and the salad was also good. You order at the counter and they deliver your food on a tray to your table. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in this large strip Center. They are located next to the GROVE, a Kosher supermarket.

Vish @vishhollywood Hollywood, FL Everything was very fresh and delicious! The service was excellent, the manager checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied. Very neat and clean ambiance in the restaurant. A great spot to grab lunch. A ton of options available on the menu! The falafel was flavorful and fried to perfection. The vegan chicken shawarma salad was enjoyable as well. The pita bread was so good! Especially eating it with the babaganoush. The impossible Hummus was served warm and was probably my fave! The OG Rice Bowk was also tasty! The Memory Shake had peanut butter chocolate flavor to it and it was yum! I enjoyed everything! I was fascinated by Vish's menu of kosher vegetarian and vegan food, and they absolutely delivered on flavor and service! Everything I tried was delicious. They make their hummus fresh in-house, and you can really tell. It had a unique nuttiness to it and a super smooth texture that I haven't found anywhere else. It paired incredibly well with the mushrooms and pita. I also really enjoyed the shakshuka, the tomato sauce wasn't too acidic and had a really pleasant flavor. The falafel were a bit on the dry side, but had a nice crispy exterior, and went really well with the tahini and chopped salad. We ordered two of their smoothies as well, the #3 and the #5. Both really impressed me! They had a nice thick texture, weren't too sweet, and had a really nuanced, pleasant fruit flavor. Given the tahini base as well as add-ins like flaxseed and chia, these would make a fantastic breakfast! My favorite food item of the visit though was 100% the burik. The owner made this for us after hearing that we liked the runny egg in the shakshuka. I'd never had this dish before, but we combined it with our mushrooms and hummus as suggested and WOW. The textural combination of the crispy exterior and the runny egg, the richness of the yolk with the earthy umami flavors from the mushrooms and chickpeas, the bit of brightness from the scallions.... What I'm trying to say here is you've got to try it. This was easily one of my favorite bites of 2023. As much as I love exploring vegetarian/vegan food, I often run into problems due to my nut allergy. While there are admittedly a LOT of nuts on the menu here, the staff were very well-informed and did a great job handling it. They asked about allergies before offering menu recommendations, and provided suggestions on ways in which things could be altered to meet my dietary needs. Aside from handling of allergens, the staff and owner were all super courteous and delivered a great experience! They offered samples of their hummus as well as great recommendations based on our likes/dislikes, and the food was served really fast. They have a nice seating area inside, some outdoor seating, and seemed to have tons of takeout orders coming through. They offer a rewards program too, which is always a plus. Prices here do tend to skew a bit higher than competitors, but I think that's attributable to the quality of the ingredients. I also think portion-wise there was a lot of hummus compared to other food items, but this may have been on me for the dishes I ordered. Overall I'm very happy with my experience here and would definitely like to visit again!

Was invited to try Vish Hummus for the first time and loved it! The dishes were flavorful and filling. The Shaksuka omelette breakfast & lentil rice bowl were my favorite and so good! There are a variety of kosher, vegetarian and vegan options to try. I look forward to coming back and trying some other dishes. The hummus is made fresh daily and the garlic sauce is a perfect addition to every dish! Koko and Lior were friendly and super informative on all the dishes. It's a quaint yet bright restaurant with a pretty open layout. I enjoyed the ambiance, food and service and will be back soon!

This vegetarian and vegan kosher restaurant is a little hidden gem! You can really taste the quality of their ingredients. Everything we ordered was amazing!! My favorite was the Vish shawarma bowl! I also LOVED the lemon garlic sauce, it went good with everything! The restaurant is decorated really well and has super friendly staff. They helped me pick the items I wanted and watched them help multiple people after me. I highly recommend coming here! It's so hard to find a good and healthier place to eat. I felt so good after eating here and was full for a long time after.

I was finally able to try Vish and absolutely loved it. I bookmarked this restaurant a while ago so I was really excited when my family decided to take me out to eat here. It may not seem like a fancy choice for some moms but I'm all about the food. As I suspected, they did not disappoint! They had so many options for vegetarians and vegans. Restaurants like these are my favorite to visit because I can eat with my whole family. The service was good, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The environment was relaxed and casual. We were able to lazily enjoy our food. Speaking of, we ordered and tried many menu items... and I mean many, I had a real foodie experience . Check out the photos. We ordered the following items: Vish Vegan Shawarma Bowl, Chickpea Vegan Omelet Brakfast, Vish Vegan Shawarma Lentil Rice Bowl, Babaganoush, Vish IMPOSSIBLE, Vish Mushrooms Bowl with Fried Eggplant 8 oz on the side, pita bread , pickles on the side and much more. I wasn't kidding about what we ordered. Everything was great, can't wait to go back.

I came here yesterday, but didn't realize that it was a Jewish holiday so the store was closed, kind of disappointing that it wasn't posted online or anything for those of us who aren't Jewish. Well, I came back today because I happen to be in the area again, and I'm glad I stopped by to try. The prices here are a little expensive, unless you get one of the monthly specials. I tried the vegan Shawarma salad, which I feel like wasn't a very good choice, I opted for small thinking it would still be a little larger than it was, but I was still hungry when I was done eating. It was very tasty and I definitely liked the soy based Shawarma. I was a little upset because there were a couple things that were on the menu, but apparently they don't make anymore, like the lentil soup and vegan kubbe (not sure how to spell it). I also wanted one of the smoothies, but they didn't have the Matcha one today or the chocolate one. So I just stopped for the salad. My mom got one of the specials, the chickpea omelette and it was also very tasty and much better deal for $15. Overall great place with delicious food, but I just wish it were a little cheaper and more affordable to come back more often.

I had a chance to go by Vish Hummus, get a little overview of their concept and have a delicious spread! It is easy to tell how genuine their ingredients and their commitment to quality is, from the clean, modern decor of the restaurant, to the poster inside which lists why you should eat hummus and vegan food, to the time they spend making the food after they take your order. Lior the owner was gracious enough to show us their process of making their signature hummus. They source their ingredients from the Middle East, with their spices and chickpeas coming from Israel (yes) and their tahini coming from Egypt (yes). The chickpeas are soaked and cooked to the optimal tenderness and mashed in a machine made and bought specifically for hummus making. They are not playing when it comes to making hummus! You can taste the difference in the care in the hummus making. I've learned that freshly made warm hummus is exceptional and should really always be eaten that way. We had the Shawarma Salad, which had an addictive melange of textures, from the chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, parsley and nuts and enhancing the meatiness of the sliced Impossible meat. The only drawback was that the raw onions were incredibly strong, so he had to tap out of it after a few bites. The falafel is firm and packed with flavor, wonderful to slide with the glorious hummus and top with a little of their homemade pepper sauce (again, so fresh). The Vish Burek is a joyous celebration of chickpeas and egg---hummus and simmered spiced chickpeas brought beautiful together, acting as a bed for whole eggs wrapped in blankets and fried. The eggs are cooked just long enough to leave the yolks runny and me ogling them as we broke them. If it does not make you like chickpeas and eggs, I question you as a human. The Lentils Rice Bowl was an incredibly satisfying and harmonious dish since it contains tenderly cooked lentils and rice and is paired with the fresh chopped vegetables and that sweet sweet hummus and tahini. The Jerusalem Hummus is the dish I want to have with every meal. Impossible ground meat expertly seasoned with the smooth smooth warm hummus? I'll eat every vegetable in the garden with that stuff. The Shakshuka tasted like they had spent hours making it (still can't tell if they actually did) and was a lovely blend of sweet pepper, spices and tomato to make a wonderful stew like texture to house the poached eggs. The pita and I had a great time swimming in this dish. I had a chance to try their shakes also, which are not known as smoothies per se since they use tahini in each one, but use smoothie ingredients in each. The liquid is usually a plant milk like almond or a fresh juice. I had the Matcha Detox which was muted in sweetness and fruitiness and perfectly thick, making it the perfect complement to the meal and to take afterwards. I had a taste of the Memory Shake which had lovely dessert vibes with cocoa beans, dates and peanut butter. I'm telling everyone who will listen to me to go by Vish, because despite all the importing and effort that I told you goes into sourcing and using their ingredients, their dishes are incredibly forgiving when it comes to costs. Their entrees range between $15-20 each, and an order of falafel comes out to less than $6, which is much less than some other Mediterranean restaurants in the area. The best of all? Their menu is 95% vegan without you feeling sad for eating vegan food. The other 5% is their use of eggs, but you can be assured that what is listed in their ingredients is exactly what you'll get. Go by today, tomorrow, next week and see for yourself!

I wish I found this place sooner! Everything was super fresh and vegan friendly. I absolutely loved the burik (fried pocket of egg & potato) and impossible salad. The salad is great for those who enjoy meat but not sure where to start. I admit to not being a huge hummus fan but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It's made fresh every day and definitely tastes better than the store bought kind in my opinion. Although I'm not vegan/vegetarian, I enjoyed all the things I tried. The shakes are good too. Packed with protein and all plant based! Lior was sweet and very helpful to me deciding on what to get. Overall you get great service and a full belly at Vish. If you're in the area I highly encourage you to try.

This review is long overdue for this wonderful establishment! I came in for lunch and tried their falafel sandwich with fries, cooked fresh and nice and hot. The owner and manager were there to greet me with friendly smiles. It wasnt long before I got my food. The sandwich was perfection, falafel beautifully cooked with tons of flavor. The sandwich toppings complimented the falafel very well. The fries were delicious and it was all served on a platter with extra tahina and pickles. I ate the entire thing!! It was delicious! Highly recommend this place, they have delicious lunch options. They do specialize in hummus platters. They are unique in that their hummus is made daily fresh and is served warm. I'm looking forward to returning here and trying their fresh juices and smoothies! Thanks for a great experience!

My husband and I have been searching for an authentic Mediterranean/Israeli place and there is no better spot than in the center of Hollywood. This restaurant is snuggled into a plaza with other kosher markets. We tried a variety of dishes including the queen bee salad which was a mix of all my favorite things. We had the falafel by itself. It was crispy on the outside and perfect texture on the inside. I can't wait to try it out in a pita next time I'm there. The pita and hummus are out of this world. Fluffy and filled with flavor. Everything we ate was delicious and most importantly made with love! You can see the workers truly care about providing an excellent experience. Can't wait to go back!

Found this steakhouse on the AADVANTAGE dining program…read more Olives and pita bread are served complimentary. There are no cocktails on this Saturday night. I don't know if it's standard practice. From the looks of what would be the bar, I assume there is no liquor license. Many bottles of wine and limited beer options and no liquor bottles. The waiter said the owner doesn't serve cocktails tonight. ‍‍ The ice machine was broken. For the prices on menu items, there's no way that's acceptable. They could have brought in bags of ice, and we would have never known. We had no ice to go with our water and coke, and the beer was barely cool. Finally, we see bags of ice brought in and wasn't offered any. ‍‍ Tomahawk steak medium well was good, but I needed a little more seasoning. Mash potatoes tasted like freshly smashed potatoes and needed a little salt and butter, and the oyster mushrooms were a bit chewy with a charred taste. 3 Lamb chops were serves medium rare so it was requested to be well done then it was good, the spinach was bitter with no flavor and the rice tasted old as it was leftovers from previous day or days. Rice didn't taste freshly cooked at all. Bone in Ribeye medium rare was good with a Cesar salad that tasted strange. The Cesar dressing tasted like a blue cheese mixed with ranch and a vinegar. I don't know it just wasn't a good Ceasars dressing, and it was iceberg lettuce, not romaine. Overall, they prepared good steaks and good lamb chops, but they need to step it up on the sides. For the price of steak, they need to give a better portion and more than 3 lamb chops. For the quality of food it's an overpriced restaurant. Though the digital menu is up with technology, it's not truly functional. It's not user-friendly for older persons, and it had a glitch. They should consider a QR code. Overall, the ambiance is nice. The food was ok but overpriced. Stop in to support a small business. 1 issue I did have, the waiter didn't help us while ordering. My dad ordered rice with his lamb chops, not knowing that it came with rice, and the waiter said nothing. I was bothered, but 2 sides come with the steaks. My son didn't order any sides, so I requested that the rice be a side of my son's order. They corrected that with no problem. the spinach and the rice were removed from the bill. Had an amazing experience at Cafe Noir. The malawich and shakshuka were absolutely delicious --…read morefresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The tuna salad was also excellent and definitely worth ordering. The restaurant was very clean, the service was great, and everyone was welcoming and attentive. As someone who lives in Atlanta, I don't get quality kosher food like this very often, so it was such a nice treat to come here and enjoy such a great meal. Definitely a 5-star experience and I'll absolutely be back whenever I'm in South Florida again.

Ill start this off by saying park in the back. The front area has a lot of "parking for [] only"…read moreand is always full anyway. Just park back and walk through the outside pathway to get to the front. That being said, we were lucky for the rain cause last time we tried going to this place even the back was packed. This time we had a spot and got in. I want to start the actual review with the service and odd vibes that happened. The service was very slow and we found ourselves either waiting a long time or doing something ourselves to not have to wait. It started from the moment we were seated. We were left alone not given water or anything for a super long time. When we finally had our waitress arrive we were just ready to order everything at once. The odd vibe thing that happened was that at some point (I think it was before we got our food) someone who worked there with a professional camera asked for a photo. We declined and noticed after the person didnt ask anyone else. We made a joke about how it was probably so we can be a token lgbtq customers, but im thinking maybe its because we were in our running clothes so stood out compared to others (most folks there were either dressed less casual or at least were wearing jeans or something). Either way it was weird mainly because we didnt see her ask anyone else. The food arrived a bit out of order (we got our entrees first) but im assuming its cause they probably have two different kitchens (they have a huge array of food types). We ordered sushi and this is where I became my own server and got up to get the chopsticks near one of the kitchens. We also asked a server for water since through the time of the food arriving (we basically were done with our entrees by the time the sushi and specialty roll showed up) our waitress disappeared. She reappeared with the water after the server told her (though it did take long from the time we asked the server). Once we were done fully, our waitress disappeared again. Most of the time she was at a table with other waitresses talking. I want to note there was another couple seated near us who were seated after us (we had ordered by the time they sat) and they had the same waitress but got food way quicker and I feel the only reason the waitress checked up on us is cause when she checked on them, we flagged her down to ask for boxes to go and the check. My partner ended up having to go to the sushi area to ask for a bigger box since the waitress gave us two small ones and the other half of my baguette caprese didnt fit in it. The guys at the sushi area gave her a odd stare when she asked. The only saving grace to this place is that the food is good. I really liked my sandwich and the rice with avocado. Didn't like the salmon roll cause it was too fishy but thats a personal taste thing as my partner liked it. I would say if you come here order take out and ignore anyone staring at you like you dont belong. But I would definitely not eat in again.
