Food and hospitality: excellent , highly recommend others who want to enjoy food ! Natural squeezed, lemon with mint was refreshing as well

I've never eaten here before but I decided to give it a shot. The add on food behind the ...glass looked a little gross and outdated. But maybe it was because it was closing time soon. I had the lamb shawarma with everything on it including spice, something I've never eaten before. Excellent! The flavors were bursting with goodness this was just really delicious! Wasn't too pricey either. Usually when I step inside here, it's always empty. Most people do takeout. It's very small and tight inside. Just the quality of the taste of the food was unbelievable. SUPER ...delicious food. I really didn't expect this to be THAT delicious! This was definitely light years better than crappy Amsterdam Falafel Shop in South Miami! read more

So I came across this place because my daughter needed to use the restroom. The person working at the counter was nice enough to us use the restroom. To start this place is super clean! And the food looks so fresh. I told him I would buy a baklava when I got out, and man it was well worth it. This baklava is the best I've ever had. I'm definitely coming back and trying the rest of the food. This place is worth a try. read more

Everything was great- especially the Mint Lemonade which I forgot to photograph. The staff here were exceptionally welcoming and helped me with my order. The ambiance was casual but classy. It was elegant in its own way- you have to see for yourself... I enjoyed the flavors and the price wasn't too high. I will definitely be back again. So should you! read more

The fries were super super crispy some of the better fries I've ever had and they had a huge selection of drinks. The customer service was also really good. The owners were super polite and the service was fast. I will be returning when I'm in the area :) read more

Super awesome place!! Fresh big time sorry they didn't take a picture of the before of the presentation.

Found this place on Yelp to have lunch in. Parking is free but definitely limited. We came on a Sunday so it was easy to park. Inside is pretty big with plenty of seating. However, it's odd that in this summer heat they don't seem to have the AC on. They seem to be using fans. Not sure if it's due to the kitchen being up front or something else but it made it somewhat stuffy to eat inside. The service was neutral. The girl who took our order had trouble with my card but didn't communicate any issues so there was an awkward moment of just standing around. After we just paid with apple pay. Not sure what the issue was since I used my card elsewhere for desert right after but it's good to know they have options for payment. We ate in (hence mentioning the heat). Food takes a bit, it seems they make some of it on the spot and for a moment the same girl who took our order was the same one who got our food together. The lamb was chewy but this is most likely my fault since when asked for temperature I said well done. Everything else was delicious. I also got Tandoori chicken which came with pita and hummus, two different kinds of rice and a salad. At first I thought the place was pricy but for th4 amount of food you get it's worth it. We ended up with leftovers for later today and tomorrow. read more

my first time ordering everything was so fresh and vibrant. The last few times I have ordered I have received rotten salad. I tried to wait and try again after my first bad experience but it seems this is just standard here. Today even my tzatziki had a weird aftertaste like it was spoiled. will not order again for a very long time if ever read more

Legit, Legit, Legit if you love Middle Eastern food/Mediterranean food this is your spot! *The chicken shawarma was elite, flavors were on point, fresh ingredients, and cooked to order. *The chicken and beef skewers were so, so, so good and they added thin slices of pickles which was a great touch. *The yellow rice was decent, but still good. 8.3 out of 10 read more

This is one of our faves. I usually wait in the car while my fiancé goes in to get the food to go and eat it on our way to the beach. But this last visit when the baby woke up I decided to go inside and what a pleasant surprise. It's a full restaurant I don't know what I was expecting. The place was very clean and had such a vibe I was like this always looks like this. Ha ha. The food is so good and the service is fast and if you go for lunch you definitely get a bang for your buck! We really do highly recommend this spot you won't regret it. read more

This place is solid. I know a thing or two about Chicken Schwarma, and the platter I ordered was up there. Chicken well seasoned and tender, rice fragrant and fluffy and hummus was yummy. I am visiting from Orlando and wanted something local to eat. The place was clean and had a bit of a home feeling, definitely gave that family restaurant feeling. I was greeted and shown the digital and paper menus. The gentleman that helped me was kind and patient. It was a quick and easy transaction. My plate was made and I was on my way. I highly recommend you stop if you're in town! read more

5 star service, 4 star food, 4 star ambience. Falafel place with friendly service, slightly high food prices and good but not great ambience 5 star service. The two young guys who man the counter and make the food are very friendly plus helpful with suggestions 4 star food the shawarma platter was great as was the hummus. My only gripe is the food prices seem aggressively high. Funny aside: eating the leftovers at home our cat went completely bonkers meowing and then snatched pieces of the meat from the plate...she's never done that before 4 star ambience. Inside it's bright and cheery although slightly worn. It's on a busy stretch of Hollywood Boulevard out front. Park in back and use the secret alleyway to get through to the front door. read more

Food was amazing! I ordered a beef skewer and was shocked at the amount of meat on there! Typically skewers are loaded w peppers and onions and like 3 pieces of meat. The flavors of everything were amazing. Truly a savory bite every time. The dressing on the house salad was delicious as well. Great meal for a good price too! Staff were also very nice and able to help figure out what I wanted. read more

My first visit was great. Had a meal there with my daughter. Meat was cut directly from spit, hot and moist. Rice was moist and hot. Salad was nicely dressed. Hummus and taziki on point. A 4.5 star fast food experience. So much so, I decided to come back. 2nd visit I don't know when meat was cut. It was hard and dried out. Half heated on grill. The rice was dry, hard and cold. Salad dressed with a vinegar. Had to buy a water to get meal down. This is what I left. Will give benefit of doubt on why. Disappointed to say the least. read more

I ordered the lamb chops dinners which as 4 lamb chops with your choice of 3 sides. I ordered hummus, pita bread and angel hair rice with almonds. The food was made to order and came out fresh. You can choose the temperature at which you want your meat. The pita bread was so fresh and was homemade. The food was delicious. My husband was too hungry and wanted to try the lamb kabobs. It was hot, flavorful and delicious. Will definitely one back again to try other dishes read more

Yummy fresh chicken shwarma pita. Friendly cashier that told me about the weekly specials and explained all the fresh treats they had such as the baklava. Definitely will return for lunch. Ask for extra pickles and thank me later. read more

Park still a challenge. Food is prepared openly & there is adequate seating. Wish they played ethnic music. I have eaten here several times, eaten a shwarma , and 3 meat kabob's. I have found the food to be good and freshly prepared. The kabobs had a very nice char on the beef, lamb & chicken. I was asked by the regular older female counter cashier, what 2 sides I wanted, ( that came with the dinner plater) I said salad & fries. I paid the bill which was Approx. $35, I thought that was much higher than what I saw being charged on the menu. Unannounced to me the cashier upsized the greek salad & charged additional for the lamb kabobs, adding Approx. $15 to the original order. In the future you need to check your recites for additional charges. read more

Pita Pockets - Shawarma - Middle Eastern Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

I've never had a single bad bite here. The chicken shawarma is well seasoned and tender. All the sides are 10/10 too. I'd trade the ability to walk for a day for a bucket of their hummus if given the chance. The grape leaves are a surprising hit. They seem to always be out of fried okra, but that might be for my own good considering the lengths I'd go for their hummus. Service always gives Chick-Fil-A a run for their money, and the environment is pretty peaceful for downtown Hollywood. The lighting isn't hospital bright nor nightclub dim, making it easy to get comfy end fully enjoy the good food. read more

A few years later and it still doesnt disappointing. The falafel is made fresh you can see the beautiful green mix being molded and fried to perfection stuffed in warm bread with your choice of delicious toppings. The service is so friendly and they really want you to enjoy your meal. Lovely people and atmosphere who care about the quality of their food. Pro tip: add fries inside your sandwich ;) thank me later. read more

Im surprised this has 4 stars and so many good reviews. The falafel tasted frozen and not fresh. We paid for extra sauces and didn't get them. We requested no pickles and it came with pickles. We ordered a pita and got a wrap. Seems unorganized. When you offer delivery it's more of a reason to make sure the orders are properly done since there's no way to immediately fix the error. There are better options near by, wanted to try this today but it was obviously a big mistake. read more
