Found this steakhouse on the AADVANTAGE dining program…read more Olives and pita bread are served complimentary. There are no cocktails on this Saturday night. I don't know if it's standard practice. From the looks of what would be the bar, I assume there is no liquor license. Many bottles of wine and limited beer options and no liquor bottles. The waiter said the owner doesn't serve cocktails tonight. ‍‍ The ice machine was broken. For the prices on menu items, there's no way that's acceptable. They could have brought in bags of ice, and we would have never known. We had no ice to go with our water and coke, and the beer was barely cool. Finally, we see bags of ice brought in and wasn't offered any. ‍‍ Tomahawk steak medium well was good, but I needed a little more seasoning. Mash potatoes tasted like freshly smashed potatoes and needed a little salt and butter, and the oyster mushrooms were a bit chewy with a charred taste. 3 Lamb chops were serves medium rare so it was requested to be well done then it was good, the spinach was bitter with no flavor and the rice tasted old as it was leftovers from previous day or days. Rice didn't taste freshly cooked at all. Bone in Ribeye medium rare was good with a Cesar salad that tasted strange. The Cesar dressing tasted like a blue cheese mixed with ranch and a vinegar. I don't know it just wasn't a good Ceasars dressing, and it was iceberg lettuce, not romaine. Overall, they prepared good steaks and good lamb chops, but they need to step it up on the sides. For the price of steak, they need to give a better portion and more than 3 lamb chops. For the quality of food it's an overpriced restaurant. Though the digital menu is up with technology, it's not truly functional. It's not user-friendly for older persons, and it had a glitch. They should consider a QR code. Overall, the ambiance is nice. The food was ok but overpriced. Stop in to support a small business. 1 issue I did have, the waiter didn't help us while ordering. My dad ordered rice with his lamb chops, not knowing that it came with rice, and the waiter said nothing. I was bothered, but 2 sides come with the steaks. My son didn't order any sides, so I requested that the rice be a side of my son's order. They corrected that with no problem. the spinach and the rice were removed from the bill. Customer service was decent.

We opted to sit outside, since it is waterfront and even though it was a hot summer day, it was surprisingly manageable since our covered table made all the difference while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. We kicked things off with cocktails, and some wine and the Sun Kissed Cocktail was an excellent choice. Not only was it delicious and refreshing, but the presentation was absolutely stunning . a real rose embedded inside an ice cube. It was almost too beautiful to drink... almost. For appetizers, we went with the Tropical Ceviche and the Tuna Tacos, and both were incredible. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I loved the mango touch that both dishes shared as it added the perfect tropical sweetness. Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We also shared the Lobster Diavolo Pasta which was equally impressive and packed with generous chunks of lobster throughout the pasta, plus a whole small lobster to crack into. And then there were the side of Brussels Sprouts ... honestly, I never thought I'd be raving about a side dish, but here we are. Served shredded rather than whole, and tossed in the most incredible sauce, these were hands down some of the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had in my life. A must-order. Boatyard exceeded every expectation. The food, the atmosphere, the presentation .. all top tier. My cousin picked a winner, and we'll absolutely be back!

Our server (Daniel? Can't remember unfortunately) was great - he took photos of us when we asked, using our phone and our instax Polaroid which was so sweet, even pulled a sharpie out of his pocket so i could write the place and date on them. i love the way the staff work together as a team, one person might take your order, someone else delivers the food/checks in on you, etc. - we never had to wait long when we needed something. I loved the artichoke appetizer - unique way of serving them and the cream sauce was delicious. I ordered the full snapper it was so good, perfectly golden crispy on the outside and tender meat on the inside. I would have loved the option to pair it with something besides rice but the dill rice itself was really good. Mostly the sides are à la carte. The bolognese was also delicious, as was the swordfish. The bread is also sweet and delicious, used to be free, now it's $8 for a tiny loaf. Overpriced for some bread. The full snapper was $59, most entrees are 40-50. I guess you also pay for the setting and view. Good experience overall, this was my second time at boatyard and I'm sure I'll be back again.

The tuna salad was also excellent and definitely worth ordering. The restaurant was very clean, the service was great, and everyone was welcoming and attentive. As someone who lives in Atlanta, I don't get quality kosher food like this very often, so it was such a nice treat to come here and enjoy such a great meal. Definitely a 5-star experience and I'll absolutely be back whenever I'm in South Florida again.

Ill start this off by saying park in the back. The front area has a lot of "parking for [] only"…read moreand is always full anyway. Just park back and walk through the outside pathway to get to the front. That being said, we were lucky for the rain cause last time we tried going to this place even the back was packed. This time we had a spot and got in. I want to start the actual review with the service and odd vibes that happened. The service was very slow and we found ourselves either waiting a long time or doing something ourselves to not have to wait. It started from the moment we were seated. We were left alone not given water or anything for a super long time. When we finally had our waitress arrive we were just ready to order everything at once. The odd vibe thing that happened was that at some point (I think it was before we got our food) someone who worked there with a professional camera asked for a photo. We declined and noticed after the person didnt ask anyone else. We made a joke about how it was probably so we can be a token lgbtq customers, but im thinking maybe its because we were in our running clothes so stood out compared to others (most folks there were either dressed less casual or at least were wearing jeans or something). Either way it was weird mainly because we didnt see her ask anyone else. The food arrived a bit out of order (we got our entrees first) but im assuming its cause they probably have two different kitchens (they have a huge array of food types). We ordered sushi and this is where I became my own server and got up to get the chopsticks near one of the kitchens. We also asked a server for water since through the time of the food arriving (we basically were done with our entrees by the time the sushi and specialty roll showed up) our waitress disappeared. She reappeared with the water after the server told her (though it did take long from the time we asked the server). Once we were done fully, our waitress disappeared again. Most of the time she was at a table with other waitresses talking. I want to note there was another couple seated near us who were seated after us (we had ordered by the time they sat) and they had the same waitress but got food way quicker and I feel the only reason the waitress checked up on us is cause when she checked on them, we flagged her down to ask for boxes to go and the check. My partner ended up having to go to the sushi area to ask for a bigger box since the waitress gave us two small ones and the other half of my baguette caprese didnt fit in it. The guys at the sushi area gave her a odd stare when she asked. The only saving grace to this place is that the food is good. I really liked my sandwich and the rice with avocado. Didn't like the salmon roll cause it was too fishy but thats a personal taste thing as my partner liked it. I would say if you come here order take out and ignore anyone staring at you like you dont belong. But I would definitely not eat in again.
