Bangin Buffalo Shrimp
Shanice G.

Now my Buffalo shrimp gets 1 star LOL it was like frozen popcorn shrimp they tossed in a Walmart bang bang sauce maybe with extra sweet chili. Nothing Buffalo or spicy about it all. I love bang bang shrimp but this was just ... mediocre. What gives this place 4 stars is how prompt the service was. Two people holding down the packed spot and they were nice and on top of things. A dirty used napkin from a nearby table flew off another waitresses tray when she was cleaning on my friends fries and they so kindly took the fries off our tab. No argument - just common sense service. Id go back because the ambiance by the beach was dope and their prices for drinks (bogo margaritas on Monday) was pretty reasonable. If I return I'd probably get pizza or something else safe.

Dog eating from table.

Allowing dogs to eat at tables. Obviously not a service animal and we could smell the dog a table away. Nasty! Waitstaff didn't care even though many customers were put off by this. Health code violation.

I wish i could put 0 stars this place was the worst food establishment i've ever visited. There was a waiting list and we were moved multiple times. The waiter walked away from us while we were talking multiple times . Once the food came out i was utterly dissapointed with the flavors i was presented with. The mozzarella sticks had a terrible after taste yet they were the best thing I ate tonight. I ordered the cheeseburger and the patty tasted terrible there was so much onions on my burger which made the flavor even worse. My friends ordered a pizza which had no sauce and tasted like cardboard and cheese. The price was ridiculously high and included a $5 service fee . The seTint and the overall ambiance was awful wouldn't recommend to ANYONE. One star.

Food was good , came with a large party so things were a bit unorganized with the workers, (they were forgetting things and mixing up tables) but overall I did enjoy my meal

2 for 1 rum punch Tuesday

This spot was ideal for checking out Hollywood beach and killing two hours before our flight back home. Street parking was not hard to find on the weeknight but can imagine could be a challenge on weekends. It's right on the beach with seating by the boardwalk. The host and wait staff are prompt and seated us right away on a Tuesday evening. The place is abuzz with families as thei selection includes salads, pizzas and sandwiches including gyros. We ordered the gyro wrap with salad sub and a cheese personal pizza with gyro meat as topping. The salad was fresh, crunchy and had enough feta. The gyro meat was seasoned right and cooked better for thr wrap. In the pizza it just did not taste good and the pizza base was also very dense and not chewy like u expect. Prefer the wrap have more veggies for layering and was served with just meat. Tuesday is 2 for 1 rum punch, each is otherwise 15$. So that was a good bargain outside of happy hour.

Service is quick and drinks are fun. I normally pick a spot on the beach in front of this place so I can make drink runs while chilling in the sand. They have pineapple cups which make fun beach photos. Their drinks are your typical sugar slushies with a shooter vial in them, but hey if the formula works don't change it. The seating here is pretty limited so if you're trying to settle down for a pizza here be prepared to wait.

In Florida visiting our daughter for the Thanksgiving holiday and sadly we knew we weren't going to have our traditional Texas Thanksgiving meal. While walking down Hollywood Beach's boardwalk we hear someone with a unique accent asking if we want to have a seat. At first all we see is pizza but decide to give it a shot anyways. I had the Mediterranean chicken pita w/side salad and my daughter had a bacon, mushroom cheeseburger. The food was delicious and the pricing was decent. If we had to skip our traditional meal this was definitely worth it. I'm glad I listened to the man yelling for people to eat at their place. They have a good selection of entrees.

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday…read more I think they must have been having an off night as I have been here several times before with a better overall experience so I am keeping my rating high. They must have been a little short staffed on this night as service was not good. It could have also been our table as we were stuck in a weird spot that made access from the servers difficult as we were at the end of a long line of tables along the windows with very little wiggle room. The good news is that we were at the windows looking at the water. We started with the flaming cheese which is always fun! And right on cue the dancer started dancing on the tables and then coming around for pics and tips (which we gladly gave!) They also give you the hummus up front which is always delicious! I had the Gyro plate for my entree which was okay- I remember it as being much better than this on my previous visits so I am just chalking this up to an off night. I should have gone with my normal "go to" of the lamb chops which are always excellent! Others at the table fared better with their choices. All in all this is a local institution in Hollywood which has stood the test of time. Get the lamb chops! You won't be disappointed!

I did see they're expensing soon, though! For appetizer, we got the Labneh which was very good! They offered to bring us more pita for it about halfway through our main course, but I'm not sure if it would've been extra cost or not. For meals, we got the chicken, beef, and gyro platters. You're able to pick 2 sides on these, and we got a mix of yellow rice, vegetables, and salad options. The meat was really good, though the chicken was my least favorite. I thought the beef and gyro were super good, though. For sides, I'd skip on the vegetables next time. The service was very quick and friendly overall. I'd definitely come again.

Sunny Turned a Disappointing Start Into an Amazing Dining Experience!…read more I have been coming to Sufrat Mediterranean Grill for quite some time, and I've always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However, today's visit started off on the wrong foot, but thanks to our amazing server, Sunny, the experience completely turned around! When we arrived, the male host seated us at a very small, uncomfortable table, apparently because they were preparing for a larger group that wasn't arriving until later. There was barely enough room to move around comfortably, let alone enjoy a proper meal. I was honestly disappointed and seriously considering walking out. Then Sunny stepped in and saved the day! Sunny came over to see if we had any questions and immediately noticed how uncomfortable we were. Without us even having to ask, he took the initiative to add another table next to ours, giving us much-needed space for our plates, belongings, and a comfortable dining experience. That simple act of thoughtfulness and outstanding customer service completely changed our evening! Sunny's food recommendations were absolutely spot-on. We enjoyed every single dish we ordered. To top it all off, he recommended the pistachio cake, which was absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to our meal! Sunny is a perfect example of what exceptional hospitality and customer service should look like. He paid attention, recognized a problem, took ownership, and found a solution without hesitation. What could have easily turned into a one-star experience became a five-star experience because of one employee who genuinely cared about his guests. To the management at Sufrat Grill: Sunny deserves recognition! Employees like him are the reason customers return, recommend your restaurant, and continue supporting your business. Thank you, Sunny, for going above and beyond. You didn't just serve us a meal; you turned a frustrating situation into a wonderful dining experience. We'll definitely be back, and we'll be asking for Sunny! Thank you

They have indoor and outdoor seating, and I saw the plates are very beautiful. Got one lamb chop samosa (bone-in), and the tashkent pilav. Samosa was so good, great flavor, super tender meat. Came hot, so eat it quickly or the puff pastry shell will get soggy. The pilav was a rich rice dish with a lot of flavor and fun ingredients/textures with half a boiled egg on top. I enjoyed the chickpeas, and nuggets of shredded lamb. Very mom and pop vibe. Would love to visit if I'm in the area again (likely fried lagman aka fried hand pulled noodles).

Unfortunately, the only disappointment came at the end of the night. The baklava was a very small piece for $7. I told them it looked different than the photo in the menu, but they didn't seem to care much and said that's why the price was discounted. Still, paying $7 for such a tiny piece felt a bit insulting I would definitely come back, but I'd make sure the baklava is bigger next time.

I've…read moredriven 40 minutes when I'm living locally, and even when I'm traveling back to South Florida from Atlanta, Theo's is still on my list of places I want to eat. I've been several times now. I've brought my son Christopher, who loved it, and most recently I brought my girlfriend for a romantic date night. She had never been, so naturally I had to introduce her to one of my favorites. What I appreciate most about Theo's is consistency. There are few things more disappointing than falling in love with a restaurant, going back, and discovering that the experience depends on the day. That has NEVER been my experience here. Every single time I have visited Theo's, the food has been beautifully prepared, the service has been exceptional, and the experience has felt worth every penny. And the food... The Greek salad is ridiculously good for something so simple. That is actually one of the things I love about Theo's. Nothing has to be overly complicated to be exceptional. There is obvious attention to the ingredients, presentation, seasoning and execution. The Linguine Santorini is another favorite. Again, simple, elegant and perfectly executed. The lamb chops? Amazing. The vegetables? Amazing. The potatoes? Amazing. The octopus? Excellent. But listen... THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS. Y'all. Those Brussels sprouts might be the best Brussels sprouts I have ever eaten in my entire life. They steal the show every single time. I don't care what else you order, get the Brussels sprouts. What takes Theo's beyond simply having great food is the hospitality. The service is consistently attentive, polished and warm without feeling intrusive. And one of my absolute favorite touches: if you get cold during dinner, they have clean shawls available for guests to drape over their shoulders. As someone who is ALWAYS cold in restaurants, I cannot adequately explain how much I appreciate this. I can dress for dinner without spending the entire meal freezing. It's thoughtful. And those little details matter. Theo's is beautiful enough for a romantic date night, impressive enough for a celebration, and comfortable enough that I've also enjoyed bringing my son. I genuinely cannot remember having anything here that I didn't enjoy. If you have been looking at Theo's and wondering whether you should try it, GO. Order the Greek salad. Try the octopus. Get the lamb chops. Get the potatoes. And whatever else you do... GET. THE. BRUSSELS. SPROUTS. Food: Service: Atmosphere: Consistency: Brussels sprouts: Theo's is easily a 20/10, 1,000/10 experience for me and absolutely worth every penny. I'll be back. Obviously.
