    Crudo di parma

We stopped by this restaurant while the Tesla charged at a nearby charging station. Walking in, the restaurant was busy with lots of people sitting and standing watching the World Cup game. They advertise specials during the game which include focaccia with toppings and beer or wine for $20. Although intrigued by these options we wanted a warm pizza and so ordered the crudo di parma. Our server was very polite and friendly and was great at explaining the options. The pizza was good but was just missing a little something: a drizzle of honey or a balsamic glaze... something to give it a little oomph. Otherwise, great!

Came here on a Saturday for dinner. Beautiful outdoor patio for dining. There were no available tables outside so we opted to sit inside. Also the inside was beautifully decorated. We chose this restaurant as they have gf pizza. We ordered the caesar salad with gf croutons to start. Absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered chicken parmigiana and a side pf pasta. No lie, the entire plate was full. Gigantic portion. I ordered the salad and grilled shrimp. Very good. My granddaughter ordered the gluten free pizza and it was delicious! All the waiters and waitresses were very warm and welcoming too!

I read the outstanding reviews for Gioia Italy, saw the extensive gluten-free menu, and was very happy to see the dedicated gluten-free kitchen space within the restaurant to ensure the food isn't cross-contaminated, so we decided to take a car ride to Hallandale Beach during our trip to Fort Lauderdale to give them a try! The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the patio was really beautiful to sit outside for a relaxing lunch. The pizza was good, but the crust was not exactly what I hoped for - it was crispy on the bottom and chewy instead of a soft dough like you'd expect in a Neapolitan pizza. The margherita also had a bit too much cheese and not quite enough sauce (some was absorbed by the crust) for my preference. Is this restaurant an amazing option for those with celiac or gluten allergies? Yes! Is this the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had? No.

The gluten free menu here is elite! Such good food, great ambiance, terrific servers and bussers. 10/10!!!

Traditional Italian restaurant specializing in hand tossed pizza with a great Hallandale location. Full liquor bar and of course an espresso machine ready to grind up some Italiano coffee for me. The barista was not overly exciting but professional. Took my $3.50 "shot" next door to Crema to compliment my sandwich. It was a tiny offering at the bottom of the cup but very tasty and strong. Will return to eat a pizza.

Back once more for a little bit of a snack and dessert. Just love this place. The waiter Ivan is always on point. The owner is always friendly and acknowledges when people come in and leave. No place should be like this.

The chicken Parmesan could feed two people easily tender, juicy imported products. You can really tell the difference.

Oh my God! What a find! I was driving around Miami searching for a truly authentic Italian restaurant that also offers gluten-free options--and we hit the jackpot. This place is absolutely incredible! Honestly, it was one of the best meals I've had, whether you're gluten-free or not. The flavors were spot-on, the textures were perfect, and everything from the appetizers to dessert was made with love and precision. If you have any kind of gluten sensitivity and you're in Miami, you HAVE to try this spot. The vibe? Totally on point. The service? Top-notch. The ambience? Like being transported to an upscale restaurant in Italy. And the owner? A class act he personally visits every table, making sure every guest feels welcomed and appreciated. You can tell the whole team reflects his passion and warmth. 10/10 -- This place is a gem

First time here Casual place claims it's fine dining Italian ! Came for a late lunch early dinner ordered the margarita pizza and the cheese gnocchi's . Pizza dough was excellant and the sauce and cheese were good . The gnocchi's were a home run :) Portion is not that large guess that's because we're gormet :)) But it was very good .

    Spoiled Burrata.

Terrible restaurant. On my first visit, despite my dissatisfaction they charge me the full price and said I should give the place a 2nd try and they'll "take care of me" Last night I was craving pizza. Me and my partner are "Piola" pizza fans and wanted to try something else. I ordered 2 personal pizza and one glass of white wine. Paid $7 extra for Burrata which was SPOILED tasted sour and fermented and we tossed it. The pizza was super average. Every time we picked a slice; the entire toppings slide right off. Then the bill came. It's was $87 dollars. I couldn't believe my eyes. We order the same size pizza twice a week for $40 for both. Left 18% to the server who was very sweet and kind, and paid over $100 in total for just wanting some pizza. What a rip off how do they have the guts to charge that.

It's tucked away in the inner corner of a strip mall, but it is very popular and you better have reservations on weekends. Our Server, Daniil, did an outstanding job with recommendations, hospitality, and professionalism. I ordered all appetizers and they were great choices: Roasted Cauliflower, Brussel Sprouts, and Grilled Artichokes were delicious. Each were nicely presented and going between all three provided different pleasant textures and freshness with every bite. The next selection was the Grilled Branzino. A piece of Branzino that was delectable, didn't require a knife, and the added diced tomatoes and cauliflower just made this dish memorable. The final item was the Penne Pasta. Al dente, had the perfect amount of tomatoes and cheese, and the portion was large. We finished the meal with scoops of vanilla gelato and it was the perfect cap to a delightful meal at a recommended restaurant.

We seated at the front table since we were a larger party. It was hard to hear people talking. I felt like I was competing with the music speaker above us. We started with cocktails which were good. I got the limoncello martini. The basil made it really "earthy" and if ordering again, I'd skip. I wasn't too hungry so we did family style and shared. My favorite dish was the meatball and the sausage dish. I had higher expectations for the chicken parm. The arancini tasted a little burnt. That was my first time having it so I was surprised when I saw it basically looked like a meatball. Overall, a great night with friends. The pistachio cake was delicious!!

My wife and I dine here regularly, and every visit feels like coming home. The genuine hospitality and personal attention from the staff are what keep us coming back time and time again. The food is consistently outstanding. Whether we're trying a new dish or ordering one of our favorites, every meal is prepared with care, quality ingredients, and incredible attention to detail. You can tell there is a passion for great food behind everything that comes out of the kitchen. The bar program deserves special recognition as well. The bartenders work with fresh ingredients and premium spirits, and you can taste the difference immediately. Every cocktail is balanced, flavorful, and thoughtfully crafted rather than simply poured. It's clear they take as much pride in the drinks as the kitchen does in the food. The service team is equally impressive. The waitstaff is always friendly, attentive, and accommodating without ever making you feel rushed. They genuinely want you to enjoy your experience and go out of their way to make every visit memorable. The atmosphere is another reason this place stands out. The music is always perfectly curated, creating the ideal backdrop for an intimate dinner, date night, or evening out with friends. It strikes that rare balance of being lively and energetic while still allowing for conversation. What truly separates this restaurant from others is the sense of community. It's one of the few places where you're greeted with a hug when you arrive and often another when you leave. That level of warmth and authenticity simply can't be manufactured. If you're anywhere near South Florida, it's absolutely worth making the trip to Hollywood for an unforgettable dining experience. And whatever you do, don't leave without ordering the focaccia bread. It may sound simple, but it's one of the stars of the menu--fresh, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and the ideal way to start an exceptional meal. This is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where great food, great people, and great memories come together.
