Great service and nice remodeled location. They have a great lunch menu ! They moved next door

Caprese Salad, side of meatballs. YUM.

Not sure why the Owner hasn't claimed this location yet. However, after years of actually growing up on Mario the Baker's in North Miami, I was actually surprised to find out the past few years our delivery orders were being delivered from this location! I don't even have to talk about the garlic rolls (INSANELY YUMMY), and I'm told that they're even more garlicky, which for me is definitely great news! Location is clean and easy to get to, the service is what keeps me and my family coming back and how much TLC they put into their food. My favorite of course is the spaghetti and meatballs and when I'm watching my carb intake, it's the Caprese or Cesar Salad(no croutons) and the side of meatballs. If you haven't tried the meatballs here, than you're a meatball LOL! Definitely try this little slice of Italy embraced in the heart of Aventura.

WAY OVER COOKED 6 for $6.95 Quality not consistent

Appears to be mostly a take out place. No frills. Order at the counter, Pickup at the counter. You can dine in but there is NO TABLE SERVICE. Plastic knife, fork, spoon and napkin in a sealed pack on a side table with condiments. When I saw this place on line had a connection to the original Mario The Baker in North Miami I had to go and check out the garlic rolls. Mario's rolls were soft, lots of garlic and oil. Here, they are too browned on top making them kind of hard. Other than that they are pretty good. Ordered : Baked Ziti with Italian sausage in a white sauce. Served in a takeout aluminum dish. Sauce WAY too thin. Sausage very bland and dried out. Probably will not be back.

So here is the thing, the pizza is great but normally I feel it's a bit overpriced (which is why I'm taking off two stars), so I normally ask for extra toppings if I am getting just a slice (no additional cost) Pictured is the cheese slice with ricotta as a topping and I added all the goodies on it

One of the last Mario the Bakers left in Miami, the only one in North Miami. This location is not a full service restaurant it's mainly a take out location but it has tables and it is clean and modern and has tables. See the pics. The staff was accommodating and brought our order to our table the pizza had same flavor as original Mario's except the crust was paper thin yet crispy it was good. The garlic rolls are the same original recipe as well as the veal parm! Everything was tasty and good!!

This spot has to be one of the best lowkey hidden pizza restaurants in Miami, I've drove by it so many times without noticing the gold at the end of the rainbow. Because this spot is pure gold customer service is amazing, the food is exquisite and overall a chill environment. I myself am a big pizza lover and I can stand by that Mario the baker has the best pizza in Miami. It's made with love and care from the pizzaiolo Adrian himself. Got to meet him super awesome guy been working here for as long as I could walk so you already know he knows pizza like the back of his hands. DEFINITELY WORTH A TRY GO STOP BY AND TRY A SLICE .

Baked Ziti

Ordered Baked Ziti showed up with no cheese. There suggestion was to come back. I explained I couldn't and would like there delivery person to bring me the correct item. They hung up on me.

Cheese was hard and separating and chewy like a rubber band and sauce was so salty we couldn't even eat it.

I hate to do this but this was just an awful experience. My husband grew up in North Miami eating Mario's pizza and still loves it. His sister now lives in Wellington so when we come visit her from Ohio we always go to the Mario's on 441. It's always good. Really really good. This was awful! First off it was supposed to be delivered at 9:15. At 9:45 I called to check on it. He said he was delayed and he was getting it out of oven in 5 min. So would be to us in 20 min. Putting the time at 10pm. I said I understand delays and that's fine but a call would have appreciated a call because we have kids who are waiting. My gut said to cancel the order but kids were freaking out so fine. Pizza was not here in another 20min... Pizza didn't arrive until 10:30. Cheese was hard and separating and chewy like a rubber band and sauce was so salty we couldn't even eat it. We were not called back to recieve an apology about the extreme delay and we were not compensated in anyway. Plus the pizza was just awful. Such a disappointment My husband was so excited to order from them and this specific location from his childhood. On this visit we didn't get to eat at the 441 location like usual and I can only hope they still have great food and service because based on this experience this location doesn't anymore.

Our waitress was simply amazing and so personable. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food the seafood pasta was a huge hit not what I ordered but I was able to try it and it was simply amazing. Not too heavy, pasta cooked to perfection, and the sauce was light but rich! i started my meal with the seafood soup which was just okay nothing to rave about. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled octopus appetizer as my entree and devoured the pistachio cheesecake for dessert. Music was peaceful and complimented the vibe throughout the night. Also, I had to push my reservation back 30 min I called a couple hours ahead of time and they accommodated us with pleasure. Will be back here the next time I'm in Miami for sure!

One other reviewer noted an oddly mixed atmosphere and to this I would agree. Starting off, the…read moreplace is somewhat hard to get to. As in literally. You might find yourself making a U-Turn to get into the development. Then there is the gate (which isn't a problem when you say you are going to the restaurant) but then, you can't park or be let off in front of the place. Access is further down the road with a short walk back through the dock area. Anyway... Sitting outside for dinner, it was quiet, as one might imagine with the above noted. Service was great and the food was mixed. The Focaccia Bread with Rosemary and Garlic might actually be a reason alone to come back and give it another try. The BEET SALAD - Roasted beets, salad mix, honey dressing, pesto, burrata, toasted almonds was very enjoyable. However, the SPAGHETTI CARBONARA - Silky white sauce, crisp bacon, rich egg yolk, aged parmesan needed to have its game turned up a notch, as there wasn't much taste to it.

The service was top notch our waitress made great recommendations and was very attentive and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered the hugo spritz which has always been one of my favorite drinks to order in Italy after an afternoon spent sightseeing and walking around because the drink is so perfectly refreshing and not overly sweet which I love. The Hugo spritz was absolutely amazing, so much better than I expected, and brought me right back to the streets of Rome. Highly recommend! To start our meal we ordered the crispy polenta and it was a great way to start our meal. I absolutely love polenta and had never had it served this way so I was really excited to try it and it didn't disappoint it was absolutely delicious. The polenta was crispy and warm served over a layer of Cacio e Pepe cream sauce with fresh grated Parmesan cheese. Such a simple dish but done so well and in a way I've never had before. We ordered a Margherita pizza and the braised short rib ravioli of the day to share. The Margherita pizza was very good, the dough was cooked perfectly, and it was another simple dish done well. The ravioli was just OK, but we were expecting something wow for the $50 price point, it was definitely NOT WORTH IT. Portion size for the price of this dish was very small and the ravioli itself wasn't very impressive it was lacking in flavor and the short rib inside was a bit too dry. We were also expecting a bit more as far as the pasta went, it didn't have that fresh homemade ravioli taste, the pasta itself didn't taste homemade or was anything special. The dish was simply ok, but again very expensive for what you get. We ended our meal with the tiramisu which was also just ok, not anything special, and definitely not worth the $15 price point. It was served in a small tea cup so portion size was small and didn't taste at all like a traditional tiramisu. Even a double espresso here cost $7 which again is a bit overpriced for what you get. To put it in perspective, for two people for lunch our check was $200 and the restaurant already included 20% gratuity even though we were just two people (most restaurants add the gratuity for parties of 6 or more). I forgot to mention, that dining here they didn't bring any bread to the table either when we sat down, so I'm assuming that would have been an additional charge as well. So although we enjoyed our drinks and the meal, for the price point I don't think we will be back again.

I stopped by Serafina Aventura during my lunch break for their ladies night girl dinner special,…read morewhich included truffle fries and a martini. The deal itself was nice and perfect for a quick, cute midday outing. The truffle fries were flavorful and the martini hit the spot, so no complaints there. However, the service could've been more attentive I found myself waiting a bit longer than expected, especially considering it wasn't overly busy. Overall, it was an okay experience. Not bad, but not super memorable either. I'd maybe give it another try, just hoping for a little more attentiveness next time.

This was honestly a huge letdown…read more The place itself is beautiful, but that's about where the positives end. The food is extremely overpriced for what you get. I ordered the penne alla vodka with added steak, and the steak tasted completely charred, with no real seasoning. The pasta had barely any sauce, wasn't creamy at all, and honestly reminded me of a frozen supermarket meal. We were a group of five, had just one round of drinks, and the bill came out to nearly $400, which felt completely unreasonable for the quality. Service didn't help the experience either. Our server wasn't very friendly and was quite pushy, repeatedly trying to get us to order a tomahawk steak even after we said no multiple times, which felt odd for an Italian restaurant to begin with. Also worth noting, the gratuity is already included in the bill, which might explain the lack of effort and attentiveness we experienced. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it and definitely won't be coming back. It's a beautiful space, but unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for everything else.
