Pretty good pizza. Nice thin crust. Good sauce to cheese ratio. Sauce is robust. I personally like mine a little on the sweeter side. We also tried a side of Meatballs and were definitely A+. Fresh and juicy definitely not dry. Will definitely try other pasta dishes in the future. read more

Not sure why the Owner hasn't claimed this location yet. However, after years of actually growing up on Mario the Baker's in North Miami, I was actually surprised to find out the past few years our delivery orders were being delivered from this location! I don't even have to talk about the garlic rolls (INSANELY YUMMY), and I'm told that they're even more garlicky, which for me is definitely great news! Location is clean and easy to get to, the service is what keeps me and my family coming back and how much TLC they put into their food. My favorite of course is the spaghetti and meatballs and when I'm watching my carb intake, it's the Caprese or Cesar Salad(no croutons) and the side of meatballs. If you haven't tried the meatballs here, than you're a meatball LOL! Definitely try this little slice of Italy embraced in the heart of Aventura. read more

Their garlic bread ALSO tasted basic. I also purchased cheese cake and it was very sweet and not fresh, and one small slice was almost $6! I threw it out after the second small bite. I almost did not order from here, based on several of the reviews I read. Fortunately I had the common sense to see many of them were based on delivery issues or "rude staff". My experience was five star all day. I placed an order for pickup and was directed to an app called "Slice". When I arrived with my husband to pick up our pizza and garlic rolls, we decided to eat them there. The young man working there was super nice and friendly and was happy for us to eat our take out order there. The pizza was delicious and so were the garlic rolls and above all, the price was great!! I will definitely be back. Some of the reviews I read almost sounded like a review of a white table cloth/high end waiter service restaurant! One of the last Mario the Bakers left in Miami, the only one in North Miami. This location is not a full service restaurant it's mainly a take out location but it has tables and it is clean and modern and has tables. See the pics. The staff was accommodating and brought our order to our table the pizza had same flavor as original Mario's except the crust was paper thin yet crispy it was good. This spot has to be one of the best lowkey hidden pizza restaurants in Miami, I've drove by it so many times without noticing the gold at the end of the rainbow. Because this spot is pure gold customer service is amazing, the food is exquisite and overall a chill environment. I used to go to the one in North Miami. Too bad, the one closed. ; ( I tried one on Biscayne and it was closed too. ; ( So when I saw the deal in Groupon, we decided to try this place. The restaurant is in the small shopping plaza and not much happening besides the busy streets of Miami Garden drive and one block west of Biscayne. When we walked in, there were a few people in the restaurant and since we didn't order ahead, we had to wait a bit. It seems this place is more popular for food delivery such as Ubereats. My husband wanted to try their lasagna and some chicken wings. The food took about 15 minutes and the food was piping hot. We couldn't wait to try it. Once we were home, we devoured food. The lasagna needed more meat but it tasted good. Chicken wings were small but well done. But these garlic rolls...... I have no idea what happened. These are not same as the ones they used to serve. The ones we used to get at North Miami place were more like yeast rolls and very soft. These were a kind of spongy and not so great. They seemed a bit bigger than the old one but still....My husband who loves any baked goods took a bit and he threw away. I wish they will bring back the old recipe of garlic bread!! I hate to do this but this was just an awful experience. My husband grew up in North Miami eating Mario's pizza and still loves it. His sister now lives in Wellington so when we come visit her from Ohio we always go to the Mario's on 441. It's always good. Really really good. This was awful! First off it was supposed to be delivered at 9:15. At 9:45 I called to check on it. He said he was delayed and he was getting it out of oven in 5 min. So would be to us in 20 min. Putting the time at 10pm. I said I understand delays and that's fine but a call would have appreciated a call because we have kids who are waiting. My gut said to cancel the order but kids were freaking out so fine. Pizza was not here in another 20min... Pizza didn't arrive until 10:30. Cheese was hard and separating and chewy like a rubber band and sauce was so salty we couldn't even eat it. We were not called back to recieve an apology about the extreme delay and we were not compensated in anyway. Plus the pizza was just awful. Such a disappointment My husband was so excited to order from them and this specific location from his childhood. First of all, the three tablespoons of garlic butter they douse the garlic rolls in was all over the bag, resulting in a great mess. They weren't even tasty. Mario should put them into a spillproof container or serve them dry! The Chicken Francaise had super thick breading, thicker than the chicken actually, and My broccoli was omitted. The sauce is delicious, though. The pasta that accompanied the Francaise had a sauce that tasted as if it was stored in aluminum.The salad is tasty -- glad I had My own salad dressing though, Mario's was foul. My last two Orders had to be canceled by me as I waited over 2 and 1/2 hours for delivery which actually never came. They told me each time I called for my order that it would be about one hour for delivery but that was not true. I Believe they need to be more honest with their customers when asking for a delivery time. Tonight was the second order and I simply had to cancel my order after waiting for 2 and 1/2 hours. I do not recommend ordering from them on Sunday night as they simply do not have the manpower and delivery times are never accurate.
