Very clean, good music genres and a relaxing vibe. The food was to die for!! The lasagna was nearly the best I ever had!! Bella Luna feels like a transported me to Italy. I had prosciutto melon which honestly I've never heard of in my entire life but as in Eastern European myself, I knew that this was going to taste amazing. We shared a couple different appetizers, including the eggplant and it was absolutely phenomenal, they're sangrias are very sweet and delicious. If you're into that type of stuff I also heard that the red wine is fantastic. My husband had one of the pasta dishes and he couldn't stop raving about it. I honestly don't know how he ate the whole thing less than 90 seconds, considering the portions are quite big and shareable. I would definitely come back here. Sunday dinner was ruined thanks to the manager, Vanessa, who snatched table lanterns from the kids' hands in a half-empty restaurant. Instead of approaching the parents to kindly request the lanterns be returned, she decided to take them directly from the kids and give us a lecture about lantern rules. The kids had been quietly watching the lanterns change colors throughout the meal--until she interrupted. Really?! Was that necessary? The food was disappointing as well. The breaded chicken was nearly burnt, and the mozzarella and tomato salad was just two slices of mozzarella and two slices of tomato, with no olive oil, basil... It was my best friend's birthday and we decided to have lunch here. We were seated right away (outdoor dining only) and provided hand sanitizer once we were at our table. We received complimentary bread with butter. The bread was warm and fresh. We shared the Caprese salad which was delicious. There is oil and balsamic vinegar glass bottles at the table to add to your dishes, which we used for the bread and salad. For our entres we ordered the Tortellini Luna Rosa which is veal stuffed tortellini and peas tossed in a pink sauce. We also tried the Pesto Chicken Pizza. The food was 3/5. I was not impressed with our entrees; the pasta seemed to be missing something and the pizza fell short. I was disappointed as I've had better Italian food especially for the prices. We did have dessert and the chocolate mousse cake with vanilla ice cream was the best part of our meal. However, the service at Bella Luna was incredible. The staff were so kind and attentive. We were served our dishes in a timely manner. They were covid-compliant in terms of sanitation (providing and maintaining) as well as enforcing masks. So long ago i ate many times here. I returned years later and was happy to see its even better. I mean food is even better pasta was very delicious. My pasta w veal was delicious Milanesa style . The parpadelli pasta w veggies it is amazing. Perfect sauce and the mushrooms wow. Side pasta w sauce wow the sauce is amazing. The breading on veal also awesome. Celiac here. As I entered, I asked the hostess if they had a gluten free menu. I was told "Yes". My son and I were brought to our table which was outside with a covered patio. Once seated the staff walked away and I noticed I had a regular menu and a wine menu, but was not given the gluten free menu that I had asked for. The menu also did not show which options were gluten free. I don't believe they have one, but why would they tell me they do and then not give me one? We waited for at least 10 min with nobody greeting us or filling water glasses. In addition, someone at the table next to us was smoking and my lungs are very sensitive to that. I don't go out to eat to smell someone's cigarette or to be exposed to second hand smoke. I finally asked someone passing by if we had a waiter and he said he was our waiter. When I told him the smoke was bothering me, he said they allow smoking there but they could seat us away from it. We were re-seated at the end of the outdoor area just adjacent to the window looking into the mall, and on the other side of a large party. At that point we didn't smell the smoke anymore but later when eating, someone else must have lit up and it really can make a meal unpalatable for someone who is bothered by smoking. Anyway, trying to look at a menu when you are celiac or have a severe food allergy is difficult when your safe choices are not apparent. I ended up ordering shrimp with broccoli and had to get it without the potatoes because they have breadcrumbs and could not make them without the breadcrumbs. I also ordered a side salad for an appetizer but it wasn't delivered until the meal came. I should have sent it back because it was ordered as an appetizer, not for a side dish, and it turned out to be very bitter anyway. When our food was delivered, the waitress asked me if I would like some fresh cracked pepper and I asked her to circle back around after I had a chance to taste the food. She agreed to return but never did. At that point, it was as if our service ended. Nobody came around to check on our food, nobody noticed our empty glasses or offered us another beverage. It was as if we were invisible on the other side of the large party. When we were finished eating, I waited for a while (with empty glasses as well) and nobody noticed us looking for our server. I finally went inside and asked to speak with a manager. After I told him of our service and I immediately went to use the bathroom, I returned to find they had bagged up the rest of my food, refilled my water glass and left me the check. They didn't ask if I wanted dessert or coffee. The food was just okay, my salad was not good, and the service was sub par. For the menu prices, I would have expected much better. Also, if smoking bothers you, eating inside is a better choice because someone next to you could light up and ruin your meal. Not recommended. read more

Bella Luna Restaurant in Aventura Mall is a nice Italian restaurant. The service was better than good. Andreas was patient and attentive. The food is good but not extraordinary italian fare. The calamari was delicious and cooked crispy and light. The seafood salad was delicious and beautifully displayed. You can't go wrong with these two appetizers. The linguine Fruiti de mare was just ok. My wife's chicken with eggplant was very light on the eggplant, making the dish disappointing. Overall, if you are in the Mall and need dinner, try it. If you have other options weigh them. If you want a glass of wine, Bella Luna offers wine by the glass for $17 to $21.00 per glass. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Aventura. Well no more, I got such a sever food poisoning that I could hardly move the next day. Most likely from linguini white clam sauce. I hardly had anything else there that day. The sauce was not even the sauce. The pasta was just drenched in burnt oil, no more cut up clams, no more clam juice, no more white wine or lemon, just clams in shells which made me so sick. To start of I wish they have a 3.5 option becuase I think 3 might be a little low, but it's fair. I'm going to start with the cons. To begin the appetizer and soup prices are a bit overpriced. A pepperoni pizza was $25.00 and the soup was $17.00. There was nothing special about this pizza or soup either that makes up for its price. The service was average until it started getting busy. That's when the service quality went down a bit, but it wasn't terrible. Just less attentive. Now for the pros. The main dishes are easily shareable dishes they give you a good amount of food. The entrees were good and will for sure fill you up. Overall this place was average and slightly over priced. I would be 50/50 on coming back. Good luck ! read more

It came out piping hot and in less than 10 minutes the but pasta itself was lacking flavor. I know it's got the sauce included but still...the pasta itself needed flavor. 3/5 Lasagna alla Bolognese $18.95 was just ok...came out piping hot but the plate itself also didn't have any substance to it and for $19.00? I had the ravioli pasta and pesto pizza here. The ravioli was great and there was a good amount. The pizza was very unimpressive though. It was a hard crust and too much cheese. It was not authentic at all. The price for the pizza was also extremely high. The place is formal and nice and the staff is also pleasant. I think the options they have here can be found at any Italian restaurant near you. I'm not sure if I would come back. read more
