I sat at the bar and ordered a pizza. I was alone to start and my wife joined me for dessert later. The woman at the bar was nice but not super engaging. She gave me the menu and a glass of water and asked if I wanted something else to drink as well. I ordered a lemonade and she actually made it from scratch in front of me. I was curious and impressed. I ordered a pizza cappricioso. I was surprised by how quickly it was made. The pizza and the lemonade were delicious. I loved the candle chandeliers they look great in the space. The two televisions with no signal were not so great. The bar has some great options for drinks I noticed a cachaça or two. The restrooms were simple and well maintained. We ended our meal with a cappuccino, an espresso and their tiramisu. All three were excellent. It took a moment to get our server's attention and to get our check but in fairness she was busy with another table and was mostly alone due to the early hour that we visited. I have mixed feelings about this place. I came here to watch the World Cup final, and as an Argentinian, the atmosphere immediately made me feel at home. The energy, the people, and the excitement reminded me so much of my country. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary. Because of the large crowd, they offered a fixed menu that included short ribs (asado), chicken, chorizo, blood sausage (morcilla), and Russian potato salad. It wasn't bad at all, but it could have been better. The biggest disappointment was the asado--the portions were quite small, and the meat was a bit overcooked. The service, however, was very good considering the circumstances. The place was absolutely packed, with people everywhere, yet the staff handled the chaos well and kept everything moving as smoothly as possible. Overall, it was a fun experience, mostly because of the incredible atmosphere. As an Argentinian, sharing such a special match with so many fellow fans made the day unforgettable. read more

This place is opened on Tuesdays! Apple maps says it isn't but I happen to swing by on a Tuesday and they were opened. The place was completely empty, likely because of it. I told their staff but they haven't seemed to have changed it. They had pizzas half off too! Not sure if that's every Tuesday but it was a great deal. I would go again just cause of that. The server was also attentive and very kind. The spot has a nice cozy vibe. Overall, Amarone is a solid spot with savory pasta and pizzas. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was phenomenal; I had the creamy mushroom risotto dish and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The pizza was also impressive, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We even ordered an extra side of the bread to dip (which I'm pretty sure was their pizza dough), and it was really good we couldn't stop eating it. We sat out on the patio/ sidewalk, It was a weekday so it wasn't very busy, and the atmosphere was super relaxed and enjoyable. On top of that, the service was excellent. We came here on a Saturday night and were surprised to find it completely empty but decided to stay and give it a shot. So glad we did!!! Everything was excellent, from the service and cleanliness to the food. We started with complementary focaccia (a really nice touch) then order the meatballs, which were delicious! The carbonara was rich and creamy, and the chicken parm was packed with flavor, definitely a standout. Portions were generous and perfect for sharing, and they were very flexible with the choices of sides and sauces. Shoutout to Amir, our server, super attentive and welcoming throughout the night. This was a surprise as we were looking for a Argentinian/Italian Restaurant that would serve Cannelloni and this Restaurant popped up. It didn't not have the cannelloni but what we ended up eating was delicious to say the least. The service was superb, the attention we received was amazing. Firstly this restaurant has multiple numbers listed on different websites. I called the wrong number to make reservation, not realizing that I didn't need one. The number Google maps has Apple Maps and yelp are all different. The girl the answered the phone seemed like a child pranking us. We went for my husbands birthday, as he loves Italian food. The food was okay. It did not blow me away enough to come back. The restaurant was empty when we got there and there was only 1 person working and she was busting her ass serving all the tables. The owner was helping but you could tell he was lost and didn't know how to do things. The decor and the music was great but the food as I mentioned was just okay. I had their famous pear stuffed pasta with chicken and it was good but overpriced. My husband had the carbonara and again it was okay. Something was missing. The bread was okay. Missing salt. The wine was good! Dessert- the tiramisu was good. This place has potential they are just severely understaffed, or they were last night and they need more seasoning in their food. Unfortunately this is not the same Amarone anymore. Haven't been here in a while and I'm sad to say we will not be returning. First thing is ordered was veal which they have three different veal dishes on the menu yet they don't have veal. I find this very annoying at restaurants. So I ordered a chicken Milanese and when it came out it was awful. Not sure if it was microwaved or just pre made and then just warmed up quickly in a pan but it definitely wasn't freshly made. It also had a very strange taste. Obviously we sent it back and the chef offered to make a new fresh one after agreeing it was just not good. Didn't opt for a second go around. Sorry Amorone but you have lost your way. Ps- the robot that brings you bread isn't necessary when there is no one in the restaurant. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I drive by this place all the time, and I was a little skeptical when they claim to be real Italian food in Aventura. But it totally delivered! I was also so pleasantly surprised by the vegan options they have on the menu many authentic Italian restaurants don't call that out on the menu and you have to ask for accommodations. I ordered the minestrone soup which was fantastic and a huge portion. I could've done with just the soup. The fresh bread was absolutely delicious and hot straight out of the pizza oven. For my main dish, I ordered the vegan Bolognese pasta, which was so delicious! Their sauce was excellent and had the perfect amount of sweetness which I was surprised by because the menu stated they don't add any sugar. This means they make their sauce with high-quality. My friend got the Caesar salad which she loved and a pepperoni pizza prepared right next to us in the oven. They have a roaming robot called "Bella" which I thought it was so cute and unexpected. I have never seen one of these devices before but the staff also seemed excited about it and happy that patrons thought it was cool. I spoke with the manager on the way out and we talked about how great the quality of the food was, and he shared how much he cared about his customers and the experience, which I really appreciated. We visited Amarone for the first time with my girlfriends a couple of months ago. We got a table and ordered some Malbec to start and the Al Rosmarino Focaccia, which was so good! I was happy to see their many vegetarian and vegan options even a vegan bolognese or a vegetarian vodka sauce. I ordered the Vegetarian Vodka and you get to pick the pasta options among Spaghetti, Rigatoni, or Tagliatelle for no additional price! It can also be Gnocchi or even Risotto for $4 more. And I know vodka sauce is usually vegetarian but their other opción here is a Vodka Panceta so this is a good way to clarify the options. Well, the pasta was delicious! Cooked to perfection and the sauce was dreamy! My girlfriends shared the Carbonara and they were obsessed with it. We also shared the Gorgonzola and Fig pizza and was delicious! The dough was perfectly cooked and the pizzas was great to share. Also, it was so cute, they have this little robot that brings your order. Not sure what happened here....its been awhile since I have visited Amarone. Always had great service and the food was very good. After a long day of errons, just wanted some warm Italian food. First thing I noticed was that the menu had changed. Staples like pasta with mushroom cream sauce were gone. So was the Clam Pie flatbread. Nevertheless, we ordered a number of items. Salad was so-so. Pasta was WAAAY overcooked. Chicken dish just tasted bad and had a weird consistancy. I get when one item is off but multiple??? I don't think we will be coming back! read more

I ordered Osobucco and pizza online for takeout. I'll start with saying the food was DELICIOUS. I honestly didn't even take pictures because it smelled so good and we dug right in. One thing to note is that when we ordered via the slice app, it seemed thay the osobucco came with risotto and a side... this is incorrect. if you select a side on the app, they wont serve the risotto. Thankfully, when I called the restaurant they offered to make our risotto and it was ready in about 12 minutes. I appreciated this attention to detail... Especially because the risotto was the only reason why we ordered. It would've been best if this was address from the start, but they did a great job resolving the issue. read more

I really enjoyed the fresh mash potatoes but was a bit disappointed in the flavor of the fish. It lacked seasoning and lemon with no lemon on the plate as garnish. The capers came on the side but should have been sautéed with the sauce. One in our group returned the chicken parmigiana for having a weird taste. The individual who took care of was named Dan, I am not sure if he was the GM or our server, or both - But he certainly made us feel like we were special. The food...... Not even sure where to begin.
