Not sure if it was because my friend's band was playing so it was full of Argentinian people as well as a celebrity, or if that's the usually crowd. Any which way, it was a blast. The bar is run by two Argentinian women who were awesome. Very sweet. I just had one drink because came from a happy hour so was already primed. I ordered the popular Argentine drink which is Fernet with Coke which is usually in the proportion of 70/30 but these girls have a heavy pour so more like 60/40. I also ordered empanadas which were delicious!! I had a Malbec meat empanada and a cheese and onion one. Unfortunately I live far from this place but if I lived close, it would definitely be a great place to hang out on weekends. Enjoy!! Ps. I came with my American friend who does live in the area and loved both the Argentinian people's vibe and the bar's vibe. He said he will be back on his own.

I'd heard about Magie for a while from friends in the natural wine scene in Orlando and had to visit while in town. There is convenient (although somewhat limited) parking just to the side of the building, and entering feels like you just entered your cool friend's house. We almost sat inside on a couple of sofas, but opted to brave the humid Miami heat on the back porch/terrace since they were playing the World Cup game on a projection screen. The back is huge and has several sitting areas, including on an elevated porch with fans, as well as couches and bistro tables set up on the pavers down below. There is foliage everywhere and you feel transported (you'd have no clue this business was on a busy road). We got a couple of bottles of wine from their fridges, along with a smattering of shareable dishes from the kitchen (ordered inside). Everything was delightful and we were loving life (again- even in the humid summer heat!). I'd definitely return and enjoy the interior next time. Love a good wine and nosh spot and this is solidly at the top of my list when visiting Miami!

You can also build your own charcuterie and they have a few hot food options. I tried the croquetas and they were amazing! Service is pretty straightforward since it's self service, and if you order food you pick it up from the window when it's ready. Such a cute, comfortable spot that I'll continue coming back to.

The codfish cakes were crisp and flavorful, while the grilled octopus was tender and perfectly prepared. The fresh bread service was a welcome addition and a great way to begin the meal. For the main course, we enjoyed the Paelha Marinheira and the Parrilhada de Marisco. Both seafood dishes were outstanding, showcasing fresh ingredients and rich flavors. Dessert was equally enjoyable. The Pasteis de Nata offered the classic creamy custard and flaky pastry combination that Portugal is known for, while the Pêras ao Vinho do Porto provided a refined and delicious finish to the meal.

Steak -$52 ordered Medium Came out Grey With some sorry, cross checkered sears on top. Clearly sous vide. Medium well through and through. Another person at our table, ordered the same steak and looked exactly the same. They complained and instead they got a completely raw steak. They must've just been hit with a flame torch on either side. I don't think that this restaurant has an actual grill. We didn't complain about our steak, but the other members of our party did and they eventually took it off the check. Never once did they come to ask if the food was good or if the steaks were up to scratch or anything like that. The quality of the meat itself was also atrocious. Stick to the seafood in this restaurant and don't waste your money. What's even more pathetic is that they automatically charge you 18% gratuity plus they want you to use a system that tries to charge you an additional 7% gratuity plus a $3.45 platform fee.

The atmosphere is friendly and our server was very chill, allowing us to taste a couple of the wines we were interested in. All the wines by the glass or bottle were listed clearly on a chalk board. Great variety listed by grape and wine producer/name of the wine. We chose a light Carmanere although the other ones we talked we also good. Since my wife and I were both drinking the same wine we ordered a bottle. The prices of these wines are so reasonable, in fact never seen prices this low for comparable wines. You can also purchase wines off their display of wines in a separate wine room at 30-40 percent off the prices you drink them at in house if you purchase 3 wines to take home. Great variety there as well and offers wines from different wine regions around the world. Our food choices off the menu were Prosciutto Wrapped Dates, Artichokes and a beautiful Beef Carpaccio Plate. All were presented beautifully and paired well with our Carmanere. We did order clams but they were tiny and did not care for them. Friendly cozy bar. Not too big and conducive to meeting people.
