My family had been hearing great things about Matteo's Trattoria, so we decided to celebrate a birthday there on a Sunday night. We made a reservation that day, and our group of six was seated promptly at 7:30 PM. The ambiance at Matteo's is exceptional! A live singer performed classic "Italian" songs, which created a vibrant atmosphere. We started with the fried calamari, which was fresh and flavorful. For my main course, I ordered the meat lasagna, and it was absolutely delicious. My brother and his wife had the Chicken Penne Vodka, which I sampled and also found delicious. The portion sizes were very generous, and we were able to take leftovers home. For dessert, we saw someone order the Tartufo, which is a vanilla and chocolate gelato or pistachio truffle gelato with a cherry filling, covered in a chocolate shell and almonds and decided to order it ourselves! It was absolutely delicious! Great decision! I actually forgot my credit card, but our server was kind enough to run to the parking lot to return it to me after I had already left the restaurant. Overall a wonderful dining experience!

Once again a fantastic meal experience at Matteo's when visiting the area. The bartenders are fast and make great drinks and provide great service. In Miami for a Christmas trip tomorrow to visit family and had to visit. Clams oregano along with Chicken Marsala with angel hair pasta shared with a friend. Portions large enough for two. Great friendly crowd of locals in a nice clean atmosphere..

Very nice Italian place. We came here a little early on a Saturday night without a reservation and were able to promptly get a nice table on the patio. The patio was pleasant on a nice balmy evening with the sunset in the background. The waiter walked us through the menu and gave advice ordering. We started with a smaller portion of mozzarella and prosciutto and it was very tasty and actually a large portion despite being the "smaller" size. We then split the Branzino and a Pappardelle dish. The Branzino was nice, light and tasty. The Pappardelle was also good. What really stood out was the thoughtful and gracious service. Waiter was one of the best we've had at any restaurant in a long time.

It's tucked away in the inner corner of a strip mall, but it is very popular and you better have reservations on weekends. Our Server, Daniil, did an outstanding job with recommendations, hospitality, and professionalism. I ordered all appetizers and they were great choices: Roasted Cauliflower, Brussel Sprouts, and Grilled Artichokes were delicious. Each were nicely presented and going between all three provided different pleasant textures and freshness with every bite. The next selection was the Grilled Branzino. A piece of Branzino that was delectable, didn't require a knife, and the added diced tomatoes and cauliflower just made this dish memorable. The final item was the Penne Pasta. Al dente, had the perfect amount of tomatoes and cheese, and the portion was large. We finished the meal with scoops of vanilla gelato and it was the perfect cap to a delightful meal at a recommended restaurant.

The restaurant has a warm, family-friendly feel that immediately makes you comfortable. Our server was very friendly but busy. It came with what were described as seasoned potatoes, but turned out to be seasoned French fries, which actually surprised me in a good way. They were well-seasoned and tasty. My husband ordered the Honolulu pizza, which wasn't his favorite. He said next time he'll definitely try a different pizza from the menu.
