This low key bistro in a residential building for retirees is very sweet. The staff (that seem like they maybe the owners or a family), are extremely friendly and hospitable. Acqua Bistro - A Hidden Gem (Literally, It's Hard to Find!) First things first, finding Acqua Bistro was an adventure in itself. It's tucked away inside the Aquarius, which is great if you know that ahead of time. The signage? Let's just say it's doing a great job of playing hide-and-seek. And parking? I eventually found the valet, but not before considering whether I should just abandon my car and start a new life as a pedestrian. Once inside, we were greeted with a stunning... view of blue plastic wrap. Apparently, the hotel is mid-renovation, so instead of ocean waves, we got the chic aesthetic of a Home Depot aisle. But hey, we were here for the food, not the ambiance, right? Now, about our table situation--due to flight delays, our group of twelve shrank to six, and the restaurant seemed a little less than thrilled about the unexpected downsizing. Our waitress? An absolute legend. She had the energy of a no-nonsense Italian nonna who doesn't tolerate nonsense but definitely knows her food. When we asked for recommendations, her response? "Everything is good." Another tablemate needed a fork, and after some back-and-forth where our waitress was adamant she already had one, she finally had to lift her plate in proof of her empty-handed situation. Nonna was not impressed. The food? Solid. My tablemates raved about the salmon, and my pasta was great--though I got the distinct impression I had personally offended our waitress by not finishing it. Portion sizes were generous, but so was the underlying expectation that no carb should be left behind. For dessert, we finally got a more specific recommendation: the limoncello cake. And she was right. We also ordered what turned out to be way too many cannolis, which I can only assume our waitress also judged us for. Casual and classy, this gem of a restaurant is located in the lobby of the Aquarius condominium building on A1A. Valet parking only. Good selections of wine by bottle and glass, but no full bar. Shrimp fra diavolo came with 6 huge prawns, perfectly cooked pasta base and fresh spicy red sauce. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Indoor and outdoor dining. Calamari was greasy and little flavor, octopus "salad" was cold sliced octopus on a limp lettuce leaf with chopped celery, eggplant parm was very greasy, heavy. It definitely lacks the ambience outside, but it makes up for it with fantastic food. Looks like they are in the middle of a remodel outside, but it didn't stop us from having a wonderful dining experience. We had the veal Saltimbocca and the lobster raviolis. Highly recommended both. Really hoping that we just had an off day because this place has good reviews, but our experience at Acqua Bistro didn't live up to the hype. The staff was very friendly, but the service was lacking. We were forgotten about for bread and water, our server even mentioned that he forgot about us. Very friendly and making jokes (that we didn't even understand, tbh), but a bit aloof and slow. I got the steak (pictured), which I wasn't expecting to be the best ever from an Italian restaurant. I was correct with this assumption- my steak was pretty dry, compared to the medium I requested. I also had french fries, which were very bland and needed salt. They were good about my dairy allergy, which is always a plus. Other members in our party got fish, and they said it tasted kind of sour and overall just not a good quality. One member said they thought it was okay, the other said it was gross. The house salad and soups were ok, nothing special. They had a limited menu for vegetarian/vegan/dairy-free. It seems to be a very convenient restaurant for the condo residents, however, if you are not staying at the condo and are looking for somewhere to eat in the area, I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

STAY AWAY!!! SERVED RAW CHICKEN!! I would give this place 0 stars if possible. The dinner service here was absolutely inexcusable. To start our dinner I was given a wine glass with bright pink lipstick still on it from the last person who used. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken on top. When I got my dish the chicken was RAW. Not slightly pink but raw as a rubber band, thank god I did not eat it. They brought me a new dish but did not even offer to give it to me for free, they even still made me pay extra for the chicken. The next part im about to tell you really blows it out of the water. When the waiteress brought the chicken back to the chef to tell him that it was raw, the chef blamed it on a light being out in the kitchen and had the nerve to tell the waitress that she was over reacting about the raw chicken. I guess the chef was never taught how dangerous raw chicken was. Not only will I never be back here but I advise anyone who goes to this place to check there food... especially if there is a "light out in the kitchen" read more

Tucked away inside a condominium tower, I would had not found this place without Yelp.. The experience was great... the staff, the food and the quiet ambiance were perfect. We had a nice lunch trying many different dishes and all of them were very well made. Prices were reasonable and the attentive waitress was a delight. Many of us got submarine sandwiches which were nicely toasted and the meat was tasty. Fries were crispy and hot. They offer valet parking as you pull by the main entrance.
