Located on Dania beach one block from Jaxson's, Grampa's bas been around as a community staple for decades but it was sold to a new owner. The food was upgraded and even better than before. The bagels are huge. Lots of choices to choose from. Nice salads an dips to take home with you. It's like going to a bagel store in nyc. There is a large area for dining inside or outside. Plentiful menu to choose from. I had the smoked salmon platter. The dish was nice and fresh. I walked out satiated. I highly recommend this community staple.

    Coffee of course.

New Grampa's. I really never liked the food all these years. The bakery? YES but the food, no. However I came here with my son for breakfast and the new diner is real modern and pretty. Very clean and very packed. Parking is still a hot mess and hard to find parking. The food was very good. Will be back. Great job!

We actually loved it so much that we wanted to come back the following night however they had the entire restaurant booked for a private event. I guess that means we will have to return again. The views at this place are stunning and I highly recommend sitting outside if you aren't coming with super young kids. The outside deck area is stunning. We sat inside thinking it would be too hot but we highly regretted that once we saw the patio. The food was absolutely mouth watering from the bread, to salad to entrees. And the service made our experience even better. I'll let my pictures speak for themselves. Whatever you do make sure you eat here when in Hollywood beach.

When we pointed this out, the manager refused to provide the promised crab, offering only "complimentary" dessert or oysters instead. We made it clear those weren't what we wanted, but he was completely dismissive. It's a "scenic" spot, but the hospitality is nonexistent. Adding a mandatory 18% service charge to a meal where the kitchen failed and the management was stingy is unacceptable. Save your money and go to a place that stands behind their menu. Waitress was nice but the manager deserves a half star.

As we entered, we were warmly greeted by the lovely Sarah, the hostess who presented both of us with a glass of champagne! That was a class act. We were also impressed by how beautiful the entry and the bar area were decorated in glass, lush plants, and darker woods 2 stories high with small lights everywhere. Very upscale, classy and romantic. We were seated in a very comfortable plush booth and were greeted by our server, Amalya, who was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We planned to share a few appetizers and a meal. We ordered the Japanese Gyoza tray, which was delicious and satisfying. For our main dish, we ordered the Lobster Spaghetti and soon as we took a bite, we both said "Mmmmm!". It was very good with perfect seasoning and nice sized lobster pieces. Good pick. We added the HH Truffle fries as a side and they were extra special. We had a very nice birthday meal. Parking is close by in a huge parking lot. It is ADA compliant as is Joey. We will definitely return again.

Cons: First thing I did was use the restroom which had a horrible smell and the toilet needed cleaning. The service was good at first then fell off after we ordered our food- which was strange because it was not busy at all. We ordered the screwdriver & peach Bellini to drink. Steak & eggs and the Untoasted breakfast + side of ham. The screwdriver had an odd taste & the ham was extremely soft/squishy/seemed uncooked internally. The steak was not cooked well- but acceptable enough to eat. Our server never checked on us after we got our food which sucks because we needed a few things. A different server ended up walking by much later and asked if we needed help which is when I told her I'd like to send back the ham and screwdriver- both of which I barely took a bite/sip out of. I just told her I didn't like them and she got a bit of an attitude and wanted specifics as to why I didn't like it. I just reiterated i didn't like it and won't be consuming either so please take it back. We finished our food and no one ever came to our table again- while the workers were walking around helping the 5 other tables or talking amongst themselves. After sitting for 15+ minutes with our finished food, I just went to the front and waited for someone to check us out. I don't recommend this place and will not be back.

JWB would have received 5 stars however my experience was rating of 3 although the food was a rating of 4. I was in a party of 14 and we tried several items and while I do not drink alcohol the team indulged and enjoyed several of the options. Appetizer Course: Crab cakes, WagyuMeatballs, Bone Marrow, Goat Cheese Entrees: Shrimp and Grits, Bone-in Ribeye, Steak and Frites, Filet Mignon, Specialty Steak Sides: Mashed Potatoes, Potatoes Au Gratin, Mushroom, Mac & Cheese, Brussels Sprouts, Broccolini Desserts: Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Cake, Banana Cream Pie I personally tried all of the appetizers and they were phenomenal, I ordered the bone-in ribeye (medium rare) with jumbo shrimp enhanced with truffle butter and the following sides to share: broccolini and potatoes au gratin and I ordered the banana cream pie for dessert. My steak arrived well done which is far from medium rare, I asked Patrick to have a new steak prepared because the original steak was not prepared to my liking. Here is where I have an issue with the service provided. Yes, the steak was taken back, however when the new steak arrived, is it expected that I eat "room temperature" sides and shrimp? Why was the entire meal not made over? Needless to say, I was charged a fee for having a large party, however I did not have a large party dining experience. I spent the evening watching everyone enjoy their meal and I simply waited. I asked for the food to be prepared to go, to prevent everyone else in the party from having to wait on me to eat. Nonetheless, no leader came over to greet me or offer any type of good faith gesture for the inconvenience. My bill alone was in excess of $2,000, and I left an additional tip because Patrick and the team were great, however I expect a certain level of service from restaurants especially when you are requesting additional fees to service the client.

Twin Peaks 1903 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood FL…read more Ok so I don't write a lot of reviews. And I don't write bad reviews. But when I have an exceptional experience, I let it be known. This one is out of the ordinary for me. I believe Twin Peaks is a franchise. A sports bar (I guess). I'm not into sports. I had only been here once a few years ago to watch a UFC fight with a friend. 4 months ago I was on Hollywood Blvd and I was starving. And there are a LOT of excellent restaurants on this street and 1 street over. But that day I just wanted a burger and a drink. I had zero expectations. But this time I paid attention. They have a LOT of excellent mixed drink and beer options here. Mixed drinks, cocktails, shots, etc. And I had a burger (Billionaire's Bacon Burger) that was so good Im now addicted to it . But what REALLY made an impression was the staff. The female staff are attractive. But that's not what I'm writing about. I was very impressed by the fact that they were just... nice. They were attentive, engaging, friendly, but not annoying. Obviously well trained. My servers were Emily, Celina and Q. And the manager working that day was Angel. And then I met another manager named Isa, and a bartender named Mackenzie, who were both amazing. I discreetly wrote down their names because I knew I was gonna write a review. The male staff are all very friendly and professional. I've met a few of them during my visits. So many people take the time to write bad reviews. I managed a large number of employees for 25 years. I always made it a priority to "catch you doing something good". To let an employee know how impressed I was with how they handled something, and to remind them how lucky we were to have him or her on our team. No matter how old you are, positive reinforcement goes a long way when you're working. And it makes it easier to accept constructive criticism when it is received. I now eat and drink at Twin Peaks at least once a week. And I bring friends. And it's because of Emily, Celina, Q, Mackenzie, Angel, Isa, and all of the amazing people who work here...

There wasn't much music and the televisions were playing different sports, that were not synced and were very random. Next, the bartenders were polite, as they can be. They weren't mean or rude. Problem: The bartenders don't pay attention to, or are too distracted, to give good service tot everyone . It was awful. They look lost and disorganized, which means management was lacking. It took them over 20 minutes for each drink, including water. The food came out very slow, even for appetizers. In order for me to get my check, and their attention, I had to walk down to the other side of the bar to get her to send the check to me. I was literally head down on the bar, for the amount of time it took to serve us. I think it's a great location, but the food and service were subpar and inefficient. I will not return, but if you're into slow service and nonchalant attention, enjoy yourself.
