For just over $40 the two of us dined like the king and queen of Jerusalem. Ok I'm being a bit over the top here. The atmosphere, while a step above most Israeli places, is no big deal. But the staff were fun, friendly and the service, from the counter servers to the bus staff who cleaned our table were GREAT. And the shawarma platter was full of amazing stuff- eggplant, cucumber, cabbage salads, peppers...hummus... I could go on. We loved it and couldn't finish the food. And we have enough for breakfast tomorrow. With two soft drinks the bill came to just over $40. I think it was the best $40 we spent in months. We will definitely go back. If you like Israeli food find Humus Achla In Hallandale. It's with the trip

This was my first time tasting kubbeh hamusta & it was very interesting indeed! But I really wanted to try it! The fresh Moroccan Frena bread was sooooo good! The Shuflur, crispy & tender to delicate. The service was quick & the people friendly. I highly recommend this very different restaurant!

I had the pleasure of enjoying 9 of their pala salads. One was better than the next. I enjoyed the eggplant, another variety of eggplant, a special corn fish, beets, tahini, hummus, roasted tomato with jalepeno. My favorite was the roasted tomato/jalapeño, corn and hummus. The roasted tomatoes with jalepeno was not very spicy, which I liked. The beets were so fresh. I did like each salad. They all seemed pretty healthy, despite tasting so good. Service was personable when I picked up the food. The staff members were friendly and helpful. I want to come here for dinner. It looks like they have some tasty meat dishes.

Well I accidentally came here. Was headed to Hummus Achla and noticed this place across the street…read morewhich is called "Falafal Achla". I assumed this was owned by the same people. I decided to go to the "Falafal" version of the "Achla" empire because it looked newer from the outside. Before I get into this review I'd like to say I risked my life for a falafal, by trying to cross Hallandale on foot. Y'all need some crosswalks my Miami people. But I was still light on my feet (pre-falafal) so was able to play live Frogger like a G. On to the food. I had a falafal sandwich. What's very nice is the owner literally scoops fresh falafal into balls and fries them up on the spot. The result is a moist falafal that's still lightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The falafal is a bit hard to eat and it's messy, from the huge dollop of tahina sauce that dresses the top of the sandwich. But I like saucy food so that's not a problem for me, plus I was impressed the pita held up all the way until the end of my meal. Wow. When I make this at home my pita turns into a soggy and ripped mess every. single. time. Inside the (very fresh) pita is falafal of course, Israeli salad, and hummus. What could have make this better? Something tangy or sour to to play against the other flavors. I would have enjoyed a pickle of some sort in there. This one falafal filled me up real good and I was starving. And for less than $8 that's a good deal these days. I have no doubt this food is authentic. The owner is Israeli and looks like he's been working with falafal since back in the day. And the restaurant itself is very new, clean, and nice looking. Why not check it out? Just look both ways before crossing the street, and never, never ever, try running across Hallandale with a stomach full of falafal. (I was between 4 and 5 stars and with a few more choices for toppings I think this would a slam dunk 5-star. But Yelp doesn't allow 4.5 stars and with room for improvement I can't give 5 stars.)

Far enough away from the music for conversation to flow and yet close enough to enjoy the entertainment. I had a glass of Cabernet and shared a meatball appetizer that was really good. The meatballs were soft enough and fresh with lots of flavor. The star of the night was the pizza. We ordered a specialty with fig jam, bacon, Parmesan and mozzarella, and arugula. It was surely packed with flavor. Now I know why they have won so many awards for their pizza. We split a chocolate panna cotta for dessert . It was heavenly with fresh whipped cream on the side. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu items in the future.

Our server - and even who I believe was the manager - came by the table to check on us. We started with a robust glass of their cabernet sauvignon and enjoyed fresh warm bread, then continued with their meatball appetizer. The three meatballs were juicy, tender and served with a robust marinara sauce & creamy mozzarella slices. Then came our yummy main course: With a airy and lightly crispy crust, their "Passeri" pizza was perfect for two. With sharp parmigiana reggiano, arugula, bacon, mozzarella, fig jelly and balsamic glaze our pie was a tasty combination of flavors. Their chocolate panna cotta garnished with whipped cream and a strawberry was a perfect sweet ending, along with their live music / karaoke.
