I read a awesome food article on this restaurant. The hype was strong but the food is overpriced but the restaurant has a nice location on the water. The waitress Kate was very nice and friendly. I don't need to return but was a nice experience with the family
Waterfront Vibes, Solid Food & Great Value Had about a 15 minute wait, but honestly worth it. Sitting outside right by the water is such a nice experience, the view is beautiful and makes the whole thing. I expected it to be more expensive because of the location, but prices are actually super reasonable. We tried the mahi sandwich, the burger, and mozzarella sticks to start. The burger is the standout, super flavorful and really well done. The mahi sandwich was very fresh and a solid option. The mozzarella sticks are a good appetizer to share between two people, not too heavy and a nice starter. Got a couple of beers because of the heat and everything was priced really well. Michelle was our server and she was great, super attentive and always checking in on us. Between the view, the food, and the prices, this place is 100% worth it. I would definitely come back.
Le Tub remains one of those classic South Florida spots that's worth visiting at least once. The fresh squeeze margaritas were fresh and delicious. I ordered the original burger, requested it medium, it arrived closer to well done. Normally that would be a bigger issue, but the burger was still juicy, flavorful, and enjoyable. The flame-grilled taste really comes through. The unique atmosphere and beautiful waterfront setting create a great experience.

The bar is in the back and it's lower than the seats like a swim up bar. The restaurant seems teeny but it actually spans the whole sidewalk by the water and when you go outside it's almost never-ending. The kitchen is the size of a coffee table. We came around 630 and waited an hour for our table and even though we ordered immediately upon seating, the food still took an hour. Bartender was fabulous. Service was also excellent. Our drinks were never empty. The burger is a monstrosity- very good. Blackened mahi sandwich also has a great sauce. Overall winner for me was the steamed shrimp. I could have eaten 2 bowls. Smoked fish dip was also good w the veggies.
Came for the first time after some friends from Michigan said they enjoyed it on a previous visit. After wrapping up a chill beach day at Haulover, we headed straight here for some much needed grub. I have to admit that I've lived in South Florida my entire life and had never been here before despite several trips to Hollywood beach over the years. If you're into Kitschy spots with relaxed vibes this is def a fun one. The most popular item on the menu is a CHONKY burger, and it definitely did the job. I've had better but it was still good. My favorite thing from what we had was the Frozen Key Lime daquiri - sooo nice I'd def do two next time. Our server was very cool and definitely on top of it. One star off cuz several of the shrimp we had were gunky, but I'm down to go back. This is perfect for an unpretentious beach day.

We have been to Le Tub a few times now for more than a year or so, but after tonight (Saturday, March 21) we won't ever go back again. We went with two of our friends and came in around 7 pm for a table of four for standby seating. We were quoted a time of 45 minutes to an hour for a table and after 90 minutes we were texted saying our table was ready. We went to the hostess stand and were shown a table at the far north end of the restaurant in the parking lot next to a table of 20 kids. It looked like it was a birthday party. We asked the hostess for another table (we walked by at least 6 open tables of four or more) and the hostess said she would check. She came back and said that was the only table available and the open tables were being held for other parties that requested water views. I asked for a manager and I thought the manager would come to me but the hostess showed me to someone that identified themselves as a manager (an African American female, but didn't provide her name). She said that was the only table available at the time and if we wanted another table we would go back on the waitlist and it would be another 30 minutes to wait for another table. When I asked if we could take the table assigned and move in 30 minutes she said that's not possible and it's "owner policy". She said that we couldn't take one of the numerous tables open for "owner policy". I was asking for any help she could provide as we had waited an hour and a half and were loyal repeat customers and the manager said "I think we're done here" and showed us to the door. The hostesses also smirked at us and said "have a blessed night" and laughed as we left. So we took our business to Capone's next door and honestly the food and service were better, and the owner came by and thanked us for our business and shook hands with everyone at our table. I wouldn't come back to Le Tub if they comped our entire check and paid us to dine there. I don't recommend anyone eating here.
Took the ride circuit to this restaurant around sunset time. Luckily, for 4 people we didn't have to wait to be seated. We had heard many great reviews since moving to Broward so we decided to finally check it out. Super cute outdoor seating with great views. I ordered the burger with pickles for my entree. For my appetizer, I started off with a smoked fish dip which was ok. We also got a round of white tea shots, delicious! I would definitely come back and probably try some brunch items.

Very disappointing and overpriced. We read the reviews and saw the hype about the burgers. Yes, they are HUGE, but that was the only noteworthy thing about them. The seasoning and flavor was nothing special. The fries were cold and lacking. My wife ordered a side of buttered green beans. We couldn't believe they charge $5 for what they were. The kids Mac n cheese was a $10 bowl of kraft mac.
We saw the post about the "best burger" and decided on one last meal before leaving the area. We found self-parking, which was a huge plus and wandered into some pretty funky decor! Our server, Cia, was great. Drinks were also great. The burger? Good flavor, cooked exactly as ordered, American cheese, sauce on the side as was the lettuce, tomato and onion. It just wasn't the very best burger - not quite up to the hype.

The ambience at Le Tub is vintage South Florida. Located on A1A on the intracoastal, this is a must go destination if you're in town on vacation. They are known for their massive 13 ounce burger. Be ready to unhinge your jaw to tackle it. It's a lot. Seriously. You may see the resident scaly greeter, a large iguana who is not too shy to beg for a snack. The staff lures her away with pieces of lettuce when she gets a little insistent at the tables. But that is a memorable part of the ambience. read more

We went to Le Tub as part of a food tour and it's a short walk from the Broadwalk but worth it. The ambiance is quirky, fun and inviting and right on the intercoastal water. Watch the boats go by and we saw a manatee Which was a great! Because we were on a food tour we only got the fish dip, which was excellent. The service was great, very warm and friendly. I want to go back and try their burger, which is what they are known for. read more

The flight arrived late around 10:30pm, and driving to the hotel in the beautiful open air, we passed by music. Made a quick U-turn... yeah, I can already hear you say not a great idea as I fall in behind a cop. lol The sign I saw said Capone's... thankfully that is NOT where we landed ..... the tropical rainforest parking lot I pulled into ended up being a local dive. It turned out to be one of the best mistakes of my trip -- and one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life. For me, that's a massive compliment. This little tropical paradise with the best sunset views on the bay (where you can wear shorts and flip flops) is called Le Tub. Not the greatest name, but don't let that stop you. I say this because it's so enclosed you don't even realize what you're turning into until you're already in it. It feels like a hidden little hideaway. You follow what looks like a footpath, and suddenly you're in the middle of the restaurant. At 11 pm, the staff were amazing and welcoming. The drinks were on point, and the prices were very reasonable for dinner on the water. The place is beachy and comfortable -- looks small at first, but it's actually much bigger (I found that out on a later visit). The music at night is loud, yes, but not so loud you can't talk. It reminded me of WindJammer in Memphis -- 80s/90s music, great vibe. Sitting there by the water, you can almost hear, Sitting on the dock of the bay, just wasting time" playing in the background. The burger was chargrilled and cooked perfectly -- honestly enough to feed two people. The fish dip? You wouldn't even know it had fish in it. Everything I had was 5. We caught a gorgeous sunset over the bay -- one of those moments you just sit back and take in. If you're in Hollywood, FL, go to Le Tub. Grab a burger with Swiss and fries, wear your shorts and flip flops, sit by the water with friends, and enjoy it. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. Unless you're annoyed by music, people, and amazing food. If so, stay away because fun people don't want you there. lol read more

An iguana casually strolled into our seating area, and one of the staff said it's a regular visitor thanks to guests feeding it. A little freaky, a little cool -- very on brand for the place. We ordered mozzarella sticks, a chicken club sandwich, a fish sandwich, fries, and one of their massive burgers. Portions were generous, and everything was solid -- not mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying. It's more about the atmosphere than gourmet food, and that's exactly what we expected. Le tub has the best piña coladas I've ever had in my life. I remember it from 7 years ago and had to come back and find the spot to get another one. It did not disappoint. They are the best. They don't use a mix. Then I got a giant lobster BLT sandwich and was super full. Top spot to eat. I can't fathom how this restaurant isn't getting 4.8+ stars on yelp. read more

Amazing margaritas, nice ambiance, and a view of the water on the outside. Super cute and authentic-looking places.Came here for what they are known for... their budget, and quite frankly, it was wayyyy too thick to put in your mouth and enjoy. I'd always heard of this place as a staple burger joint, so I had to check it out. The place was super cool, all made out of recycled materials. Great views of the water and they had what I'd say is the best pina colada I've ever had. The burger itself was pretty good too- hugeee tho. Definitely split with someone else if you want to try other things. read more

I had an amazing experience here - I was able to get a table by the water at sunset. The server- cannot remember her name- was on top of it and very very friendly. I got the seafood boil and it was soooooooooo good. I think the ambiance alone is worth coming, but this place hit every mark for me. read more

Another hidden gem! I can't believe I'm just discovering this cute place. Before I get into the food. Please note the parking lot is small. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and I was unable to park in their lot. Instead I used the public parking right across the street, so yes there's an option. The hostess and waitress were both lovely. I requested to sit with views of the water and the hostess was very accommodating. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary so that says a lot about their longevity. The waitress recommended their burger because that's what they are known for; however since I'm pescatarian she suggested the salmon. The soy pineapple glaze on the same was soooooo good. This is now on my list of local hidden gems with great food, views and service. read more

Came here to catch up with a friend while in town. We started with the shrimp appetizer which after hearing half I realized we're not deveined/cleaned. We also split a burger and fries which was pretty good but not for the hype that I've heard before when it comes to Le Tub. The service and view were the best part since we were greeted as soon as walking in, sat quickly, and our two servers were very attentive. Honestly best part of the restaurant was the outdoor seating. read more
This spot was amazing the burger is the best reason to go. I expected a dense burger to not be juicy and dry and boy was i wrong it even tasted great the next day. Will return to try other menu items like the crab legs. The smoked fish dip was one of the best I have had in had that fishy taste and this did not have it. The hostess was very nice and got us a great seat by the water and Jay our server continuously checked on us to make sure we were ok. I love the water and the view of the intercoastal and the sun setting was beautiful also the restaurant surprised us on how spacious it was a lot of greenery as well didn't feel like I was Hollywood. read more
Let me start by saying when I just pulled this place up to review it and saw it only has 3 starts, my mind was blown!!! This place is absolutely awesome! We stayed at the Hollywood Margaritaville ( from NY ) and can see this place from our balcony..it looked so cool we just had to try it. What a great place. Right on the canal (literally). I cant even describe the decor..Dive Bar meets historical landmark mixed with beach vibes..IDK ! But its one of the coolest, coziest places I've been to in a long time. The Food was fantastic..I had one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life to be honest. Im gonna keep this review short and sweet because its one of those places that words and pics cant really do it justice..you have to check this place out..Trust me...Enjoy!!! This was a great hidden gem off the beach! It still has water views of the channel. Plenty of room for seating no wait, staff was on top of it service was excellent. The food and drinks were so good! Get extra Le Tub sauce with whatever you order. We stuck to the classics, the burger was thick so if your a smash burger person this might not be the item for you but if your a burger person absolutely get this. We also got the grilled chicken BLT also so good it comes with Le Tub sauce on it and it was very large so perfect after a day out adventuring, also do not skip the thick cut steak fries 12/10 so good. I did not try the seafood boil but my friend really enjoyed it very classic they use old bay seasoning. Unfortunately there was no way we could also eat desert but I feel like we missed out the case up front with desert looked incredible. We will absolutely be back next time! read more
My friend and I, plus 3 kids, came to Le Tub for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 2. We couldn't find parking at the restaurant, as the lot was very limited - we tried parking at a nearby lot but it was $40 for the first 4 hrs, so we ended up parking at the Margaritaville parking garage across the street for much less. The restaurant decor is fun, colorful, and quirky - the kids got a kick out of the various toilet planters, and bath tubs. We asked to sit by the waterside and the wait was 15 mins - it was perfect weather for outside dining - not hot, with a strong cool breeze. My friend and I both ordered the burger medium well, with the sauce on the side, plus large fries. Kids all had chicken tenders and fries, and we also shared the mozzarella sticks appetizer. The server was very friendly, and food came out quickly. The appetizer was really good, perfectly crunchy on the outside and stretchy, stringy warm cheese on the inside. The burger was delicious, except it was huge - the burger patty was so thick that the inside was definitely not medium well - it was rather more undercooked, which next time I will have to ask for it well done. The kids enjoyed their tenders and fries, my daughter got their pineapple juice and my son got watermelon juice and said they were yummy. My bill came out to $80, parking came out to $16 (we walked around the beach for a bit). read more

The food was good - we had burgers and a chicken Cesar salad. All was cooked to perfection. The service was wood and quick. Be prepared the burger is massive also take that into account when you're considering what temperature you want. The location is super cute. Outside vibes while still being inside. You get a view of the water and lots of trees and leaves everywhere. read more

UPDATE: Second time here in many decades. The giant juicy burgers loaded with onions, bacon and jalapenos still taste just as I remember. The dimly lit Key West style restaurant was packed with patrons and the burgers were still cooked on the small grill. The fresh plump shrimp douced in bay seasoning was the perfect appetizer with our cocktails. Our server, Vee, was fun and attentive. Every place you look brings back a great memory of the 1980s. Even the clean bathroom was custom with wooden planks throughout. We took the Fort Lauderdale water taxi to this place during our bar crawl. read more

The outdoor seating is superb here! It's also refreshing to have a solid food spot right on Hollywood beach - a lot of the other spots I've tried are tourist traps and really isn't that good, I mean inedible and overpriced. Now is this place Michelin star? Nope, and that's alright. After a beach day, day drinking I want something that's gonna fill me up so no one is asking it to be - my ribs were finger licking and the only reason I didn't finish the fish dip was because I was full. I'd definitely return! read more
