I would not recommend The hot dogs. At all! Sorry - they were to hard, we were told not to get the steamed ones because they put them in the same water as the shrimp. So we got the grilled ones and they were too rich and hard more like a sausage. The bread was not warmed. The cocktails are to sweet and small portions and not cheap. Went there under the premise it was voted best burger in America. I have to disagree. I will say it was very thick but it was dry and lacked any flavor at all. The bun was either stale ir just dry because it fell apart leaving me to eat with a fork. My husband had the "special" crab boil. Came for the first time after some friends from Michigan said they enjoyed it on a previous visit. After wrapping up a chill beach day at Haulover, we headed straight here for some much needed grub. I have to admit that I've lived in South Florida my entire life and had never been here before despite several trips to Hollywood beach over the years. If you're into Kitschy spots with relaxed vibes this is def a fun one. The most popular item on the menu is a CHONKY burger, and it definitely did the job. I've had better but it was still good. My favorite thing from what we had was the Frozen Key Lime daquiri - sooo nice I'd def do two next time. Our server was very cool and definitely on top of it. I went here for a work birthday get together otherwise I would have no chosen this place out of my own free will. The decor inside the place is funky and funny, it's a great location and it's overall a great place to get a drink or get drunk if that's your sort of thing. I eat gluten free and the server gave me several options to choose from and in hindsight I wish I would have ordered something different because everyone I was sitting with ordered the Le Tub burger which is HUGE by the way so be prepared but since I can't eat bread I opted for the mahi mahi and I was disappointed. Especially because the day before I ate at a restaurant not too far and had the best grilled fish of my life, eating the fish at Le Tub was like regressing all of my foodie progress. The meal came with green beans and I opted for rice instead of fries. It was a subpar meal but I ate it because I was incredibly hungry and in a situation where I was obligated to stay. I didn't even get a picture of the meal. If for some reason I'm forced to go to this restaurant again, I'd get the burger without the bun since my coworkers said the burgers were good but they were also drinking so who knows what the truth is. Claiming to have the best burger in 2006 doesn't mean anything 10 years later. The server was great, however, he was dealing with an extremely large party and when it came time to pay he overcharged a couple people at my table extra drinks they didn't order and it was a kind of fuss but to be honest with as many people as there were he was working real hard taking everyone's orders and running around. We have been to Le Tub a few times now for more than a year or so, but after tonight (Saturday, March 21) we won't ever go back again. We went with two of our friends and came in around 7 pm for a table of four for standby seating. We were quoted a time of 45 minutes to an hour for a table and after 90 minutes we were texted saying our table was ready. We went to the hostess stand and were shown a table at the far north end of the restaurant in the parking lot next to a table of 20 kids. It looked like it was a birthday party. We asked the hostess for another table (we walked by at least 6 open tables of four or more) and the hostess said she would check. She came back and said that was the only table available and the open tables were being held for other parties that requested water views. I asked for a manager and I thought the manager would come to me but the hostess showed me to someone that identified themselves as a manager (an African American female, but didn't provide her name). She said that was the only table available at the time and if we wanted another table we would go back on the waitlist and it would be another 30 minutes to wait for another table. When I asked if we could take the table assigned and move in 30 minutes she said that's not possible and it's "owner policy". She said that we couldn't take one of the numerous tables open for "owner policy". I was asking for any help she could provide as we had waited an hour and a half and were loyal repeat customers and the manager said "I think we're done here" and showed us to the door. The hostesses also smirked at us and said "have a blessed night" and laughed as we left. So we took our business to Capone's next door and honestly the food and service were better, and the owner came by and thanked us for our business and shook hands with everyone at our table. I wouldn't come back to Le Tub if they comped our entire check and paid us to dine there. I don't recommend anyone eating here. read more

Awesome ambiance on the water. It's like tiki bar meets seafood shack meets Key West with a certain kind of chaos that makes you want to get a good buzz. The bar is in the back and it's lower than the seats like a swim up bar. The restaurant seems teeny but it actually spans the whole sidewalk by the water and when you go outside it's almost never-ending. The kitchen is the size of a coffee table. We came around 630 and waited an hour for our table and even though we ordered immediately upon seating, the food still took an hour. Bartender was fabulous. Service was also excellent. Our drinks were never empty. The burger is a monstrosity- very good. Blackened mahi sandwich also has a great sauce. Overall winner for me was the steamed shrimp. I could have eaten 2 bowls. The flight arrived late around 10:30pm, and driving to the hotel in the beautiful open air, we passed by music. Made a quick U-turn... yeah, I can already hear you say not a great idea as I fall in behind a cop. lol The sign I saw said Capone's... thankfully that is NOT where we landed ..... the tropical rainforest parking lot I pulled into ended up being a local dive. It turned out to be one of the best mistakes of my trip -- and one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life. For me, that's a massive compliment. This little tropical paradise with the best sunset views on the bay (where you can wear shorts and flip flops) is called Le Tub. Not the greatest name, but don't let that stop you. I say this because it's so enclosed you don't even realize what you're turning into until you're already in it. It feels like a hidden little hideaway. You follow what looks like a footpath, and suddenly you're in the middle of the restaurant. At 11 pm, the staff were amazing and welcoming. The drinks were on point, and the prices were very reasonable for dinner on the water. The place is beachy and comfortable -- looks small at first, but it's actually much bigger (I found that out on a later visit). The music at night is loud, yes, but not so loud you can't talk. It reminded me of WindJammer in Memphis -- 80s/90s music, great vibe. Sitting there by the water, you can almost hear, Sitting on the dock of the bay, just wasting time" playing in the background. The burger was chargrilled and cooked perfectly -- honestly enough to feed two people. The fish dip? You wouldn't even know it had fish in it. Everything I had was 5. We caught a gorgeous sunset over the bay -- one of those moments you just sit back and take in. If you're in Hollywood, FL, go to Le Tub. Grab a burger with Swiss and fries, wear your shorts and flip flops, sit by the water with friends, and enjoy it. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. My friend and I, plus 3 kids, came to Le Tub for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 2. We couldn't find parking at the restaurant, as the lot was very limited - we tried parking at a nearby lot but it was $40 for the first 4 hrs, so we ended up parking at the Margaritaville parking garage across the street for much less. The restaurant decor is fun, colorful, and quirky - the kids got a kick out of the various toilet planters, and bath tubs. We asked to sit by the waterside and the wait was 15 mins - it was perfect weather for outside dining - not hot, with a strong cool breeze. My friend and I both ordered the burger medium well, with the sauce on the side, plus large fries. Kids all had chicken tenders and fries, and we also shared the mozzarella sticks appetizer. The server was very friendly, and food came out quickly. The appetizer was really good, perfectly crunchy on the outside and stretchy, stringy warm cheese on the inside. The burger was delicious, except it was huge - the burger patty was so thick that the inside was definitely not medium well - it was rather more undercooked, which next time I will have to ask for it well done. The kids enjoyed their tenders and fries, my daughter got their pineapple juice and my son got watermelon juice and said they were yummy. Another hidden gem! I can't believe I'm just discovering this cute place. Before I get into the food. Please note the parking lot is small. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and I was unable to park in their lot. Instead I used the public parking right across the street, so yes there's an option. The hostess and waitress were both lovely. I requested to sit with views of the water and the hostess was very accommodating. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary so that says a lot about their longevity. The waitress recommended their burger because that's what they are known for; however since I'm pescatarian she suggested the salmon. The soy pineapple glaze on the same was soooooo good. This spot was amazing the burger is the best reason to go. I expected a dense burger to not be juicy and dry and boy was i wrong it even tasted great the next day. Will return to try other menu items like the crab legs. The smoked fish dip was one of the best I have had in had that fishy taste and this did not have it. We stayed at the Hollywood Margaritaville ( from NY ) and can see this place from our balcony..it looked so cool we just had to try it. What a great place. Right on the canal (literally). I cant even describe the decor..Dive Bar meets historical landmark mixed with beach vibes..IDK ! But its one of the coolest, coziest places I've been to in a long time. The Food was fantastic..I had one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life to be honest. Im gonna keep this review short and sweet because its one of those places that words and pics cant really do it justice..you have to check this place out..Trust me...Enjoy!!! This was a great hidden gem off the beach! It still has water views of the channel. Plenty of room for seating no wait, staff was on top of it service was excellent. The food and drinks were so good! Get extra Le Tub sauce with whatever you order. We stuck to the classics, the burger was thick so if your a smash burger person this might not be the item for you but if your a burger person absolutely get this. We also got the grilled chicken BLT also so good it comes with Le Tub sauce on it and it was very large so perfect after a day out adventuring, also do not skip the thick cut steak fries 12/10 so good. I did not try the seafood boil but my friend really enjoyed it very classic they use old bay seasoning. Unfortunately there was no way we could also eat desert but I feel like we missed out the case up front with desert looked incredible. We will absolutely be back next time! read more

It's was a pretty straight forward & an enjoyable experience; sat outside not to far from the water, drinks came out quick, food came out together shortly thereafter and naturally, so did desert. This was one of our water taxi stops. It's been many decades since I have been here and it has not changed a bit. Colorful bathtubs lined the sidewalk as you walk up to the dimly lit restaurant. Funny placards at various places throughout the tropical foliage. We were seated quickly at a big wooden table in a corner next to the water. I looked over my shoulder and saw literally 15 burger patties sizzling on the small kitchen grill with two cooks back to back cooking. I've been here twice. Once about ten years ago and again last night. They charge you two dollars for parking, not bad. The place looks really cool, nice decorations everywhere and it's by the water. The food isn't too overpriced but unfortunately it just doesn't taste great and the service wasn't the best either. Last night confirmed what I thought a decade ago, this place is a tourist trap that doesn't care about serving good food. Both times I got their burger, medium, all the toppings add American cheese and pickles. The burger is giant but unfortunately the lack of flavor leaves a lot to be desired. It also took a very long time to come out and to add insult to injury it came out extremely well done. The waitress came by half way through the meal to check on us. I don't typically complain but I felt I had to show her how overcooked the burger was. She said "would you like it remade?" Considering how long the first one took and that I already ate half that didn't feel right so I said "no, that's fine." That was the end of that. I've been a server before. In similar situations, I would typically let my manager know a customer was displeased and have them swing by the table and at that point the manager would do something to compensate for the restaurants mistake. I don't think that's a lot to ask but nothing was done. I would avoid coming here, there are better options in the area. Unfortunately this place is just a tourist trap. I guess they know that which is why they're not serving quality food and put little to no effort into rectifying their mistakes.
