The oysters on the half shell were nice and briny. They came with plenty of lemon. How come I'm not here more often? The bartenders at the outside counter are excellent. Joe stayed one step ahead of everything. The view of the ocean was perfect. If you've never been to Nick's, you have to stop in. The food is tried and true. It's an upbeat atmosphere with great choices for drinks.

Years ago I will come to Nick's and go out to the beach in the summertime in front of Nick's and enjoy the beach. And then walk back to Nick's get some margaritas some conch fritters or some peel and eat shrimp and that was the highlight of the day. It's been a few years since I've been here and I guess what they say is correct, nothing stays the same. I ordered me a margarita and a order of comforters which is usually what I get they were always so good. This time the margarita was good taste about the same as I remember it. The conch fritters we're good but not as great as I remember them. If you are on the beach visiting especially in the summertime you want something to munch on a cold drink then yes I would definitely recommend next for some small bites.

Took a late night/ early morning walk down the beach, and got a bit thirsty and since it was 2am not much was open. But then we found Nicks an oasis with a walk up window! We didn't even have to go inside. Ordered a Mango daiquiri with a float of Hennessey it was perfect. Bar tender was fun and attentive. Beautiful view from the bar. We will be back next time we're in town.

11.4.25 This, bar/restaurant is located right on the boardwalk across from the ocean. The location couldn't be any better. It's a very active busy place at any given time of day. It's a spot for the locals and obviously for loads of people vacationingdown here. It holds a dear place in my heart at I've been here dozens upon dozens of times, on and off for more than several years. Any time I've been here the service had always been great. They've always been very happy & hospitable. They're always very active and fast. You can sit inside, or at one of the windows inside looking out at the ocean and/or people watching. You can even sit outside at one of the tables on the boardwalk and enjoy the sunny weather and the food or cocktails. It's always been a great spot to meet up. The food is good, not great, but great service, fantastic location, location location with reasonable prices. Very fresh salads & crisp cold cocktails. They've been here for years and probably will be for plenty of more years to come. Keep doing what you've been doing and keep up the tremendous work you do for many of us who come and enjoy time with you. Thank you thank you.

I came by to hang out with a few buddy's. Parking is ready on a motorcycle. It's located right on the board walk so there's plenty of people watching. This evening was a bunch of people doing TikTok broadcasting. Maria was great as bar tender. She was on top of our drinks very quickly.

No trip to Hollywood Beach is complete without a visit to Nick's! Located directly on the Broadwalk with full views of the beach, indoor or outdoor seating and a fresh ocean breeze with both. Live entertainment every night and they are open late, until 4am. The food is always good and the drinks are, as well. You can even get your drinks to go! The blackened Mahi is a favorite entree and the turkey wrap is huge - makes the perfect beach lunch for 2. Their wings are crispy and the garlic parm sauce is delish... Especially at 1 am with a nice cold beer!

The perfect after hours beach front restaurant and bar with a big local following. The two rum & cokes were heavy pours and complimented my chips, hummus, veggies and hot peppers. Sat at the end of the bar with a clear view of the boardwalk. Friendly staff and very busy.

We stopped here for a bite to eat....there were not many 4 or 5 star review businesses on the Broadwalk, so this place was a big contender. We got a table outside and our server was very nice and efficient. We got some Mahi fingers (lightly battered and fried) and a burger. The mahi fingers were not crispy at all and they were very bland...even dipping them in the tartar sauce helped... The burger was not bad, juicy and large...the fries were crispy. Overall an average bar and grill experience on the Broadwalk.

Seafood salad wrap and seafood dip
    Cherie W.

Nick's Bar & Grill absolutely nailed it. The seafood dip was amazing--rich, flavorful, and perfectly creamy--and the seafood salad wrap was just as good, packed with fresh ingredients and tons of flavor. Great food, great vibes, and a perfect stop on Hollywood Beach. Seating right out on the boardwalk too. Highly recommend.

We stopped by for a quick bite for lunch, and had no complaints. Seated straight away, drink order taken and received, apps in...within 5 minutes. Conch fritters were great, seafood salad was perfect, fish and chips excellent and the Philly Cheesesteak was a thing of beauty. I particularly enjoyed the seafood salad, perfect on a warm day. The music was playing inside, but was too load. Everything seemed clean and fresh. It was an enjoyable experience.

We are very please of the quality of our food and the servers. Yes a few time I had to write négatif reviews, because I like to tell the true story. Last week we hit the jackpot with the wonderful server we had. It is sad that most the time he works in the evening , and most our outing are at lunch. So, this time he was our lunch server . His name was JOSE, I can say, after all the time we eat at that restaurant he was one of the best servers, he had nice personality, we could see that he liked Is job, hope next time I go back , that he will be working, beside the great tuna lunch we had , he completed our nice outing . Bravo JOSE .

Making an online reservation was effortless, and we were seated promptly, so our visit started off on a positive note. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was underwhelming. Our server was friendly, but the service overall was very slow. It took quite a while for him to check back with us, and he wasn't very familiar with the menu. We had to remind him of the side options that came with our meals, which was surprising. While he was pleasant, the level of service just wasn't what we expected. The food was average and didn't really stand out. We all ordered the three-course special. We started with the tortilla soup and the chili, but both arrived only lukewarm, which was disappointing. For the entrées, my steak was tough, not very tender, and also wasn't served hot. The mashed potatoes were actually the highlight of my plate--they were flavorful and well prepared. The ribs were tender. The salmon entrée was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant wasn't busy during our visit, which made the slow service and long wait for our food even more surprising. We also noticed other tables that had been waiting even longer than we had, with meals taking an unusually long time to come out. Overall, this just wasn't the birthday dinner experience we were hoping for. While the staff was courteous, the slow service and average food make it unlikely that we'll return. Hopefully they're able to improve, because the restaurant has potential, but unfortunately this visit missed the mark for us.

Still when I arrived home the shake was to thick I had to eat with a spoon. I did walk inside to look inside the restaurant. It has a cute little old school shop vibe. The wall decor has different cool license plates. I did see some people having some huge shareable ice creams that looked good. It was the sign underneath that read, "Too tired to cook today?" that made us take notice. Looking at the online menu we found that it was not only a who's who of Latin dishes of different nationalities, but they also served bar fare - chicken wings, burgers, quesadillas, etc. Not knowing what their specialty was, we never committed to it. But today was one of those days where we felt like something different and we took a chance. The gamble paid off big. The menu was all over the place, so not knowing what direction to go in, I addressed the waiter who was all too ready to help. He pointed me to some of his faves: the Bandeja Paisa, Lomo Saltado, and Ropa Vieja. I'd had my eye on the Lomo Saltado, a popular Peruvian stir fry dish. The Bandeja Paisa is Colombian, and the Ropa Vieja - Cuban. I asked him what the nationality of the ownership was, when he revealed it was Colombian. I was immediately skeptical of ordering the ropa vieja - being half Cuban, I could not fathom the idea of a Colombian-owned restaurant pulling this off. So Joe took one for the team there. The waiter assured me that everything he has tried has in fact been delectable. But hey, what else is he supposed to say? But no, he assured me these were not marketing words, but words of experience. So I went for the Lomo Saltado which was served with black beans and rice, and french fries. He didn't hesitate to vouch for the black beans... I think he sensed my Colombian skepticism. Joe had replaced his fries for sweet plantains, so I took his cue and substituted my fries for tostones. But, not before warning the waiter that I would be particularly particular about the quality of my favorite plantain dish. He gave me a confident nod - so I played along. Joe's dish came out a few seconds before mine, and being the impatient carnivore that I am, I (let's say borrowed) his ropa vieja before he had a chance to pick up his fork. I was very pleasantly surprised. On par with any old clothes I have tried at any Cuban restaurant... and even better than some, albeit in longer strands than I've experienced. However, extremely juicy, full of flavor and tender. Then came my Lomo. I'm a first-timer, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was fan-tastic. A bit charred outside with a juicy medium innard that cuts like butter, and to my relief, deceivingly tender. The lomo napped on a bed of sautée-charred veggies whose sweetness was a nicely balanced contrast to the savory meat. The black beans were definitely on point and seasoned with Colombian love. And those ten-ton-tostones!!! By far the thickest fried medallions I've had, but with a brutally loud crunch and still a real easy chew. And unlike John Travolta in a black T-Bird jacket, totally Greaseless. Often times, tostones of this variety are tough and as chewable as week-old yellow paper mache. Nope, these are some of the best tostones I've had in a couple of years. But by far the best of their kind. I also borrowed one of Joe's sweet plantations which once again left no trace of greased lightning and were rendered a perfect dark brown with a nice and plush sunshine yellow inside. The portions were more than generous and the price was comfortably modest. I expressed my deepest gratitude to our waiter for his patience and his spot on recommendations. He also swore by their burger which he had just sampled for the first time and which is made partly with Colombian chorizo and served with a side of chimichurri. Chorizo and chimichurri for little cha-ching.... I'm sure I'll be chowing on that real soon. Food Corner is a cornucopia of Latin influences, and so far, it's also a master of two of them. (We were too excited to take photos)

They have seasonal beers as well as year round beers and everything that they make, for the most part is made in their Brewery aside from their guest pours. They also had a marshmallow Style Beer and it had a nice little peanut flavor. It basically tasted like a liquid fluffernutter ! We also tried the smoked fish dip, which came with fresh vegetables. My husband ordered the oysters. They were a little smaller than the oysters we're used to, but they were still tasty. For our entrees, we all went in different directions. I had the avocado chili salmon, topped with a chili glaze, served with herb rice, grilled broccolini, and sunflower sprouts. This was definitely my favorite dish! Simple, fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We also had the Carne Asada Steak & Eggs, Grains & Greens, and a side of shrimp. Everything we tried was really good, and there was something for everyone. Our waitress was excellent--she was attentive, friendly, and always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. She even took a selfie with us, which was such a fun personal touch! The prices are very reasonable, and they also offer a Rise & Shine brunch option with unlimited mimosas, Bloody Marys, or rosé for $28, which is a great deal if you're looking to enjoy some drinks with your brunch. And if you want something a little more adventurous, they have some fun cocktail options, including the Tiki Loaded Caesar with double Tito's vodka, Clamato, candied bacon, an oyster, shrimp, pickle, and a spiced rim. Or you can go for a fresh-pressed espresso martini. Overall, we had a wonderful Father's Day brunch. Great food, reasonable prices, a fun atmosphere, and excellent service. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the Hollywood area! We'll definitely be back!

The pan seared scallops entree was divine - buttery soft with a crispy coating, and scrumptious with a squeeze of lemon. We chose sides of baked potato and pasta salad. My husband ordered the fish and chips - easily one of the top 3 best fish and chips we've ever eaten in the world. The fish was light and perfectly crispy, served with homemade tartar sauce and malt vinegar. The fries were hot and crispy too. We also enjoyed with a side of Cole slaw. Service was great. Food prices are a bit high, but the food quality and flavor is fantastic

Popped into this local spot on Friday. We were craving fish. What better place to try than the fish…read moregrill. Looks like this has been in the neighborhood for years. It certainly feels like a mom and pop spot. There's a small parking lot around back. When we entered, we were told to sit anywhere. Just so happened to see the specials sign out front. $10.95 for fish and chips with a purchase of a drink. I think they might've been short staffed to handle the larger Friday lunch rush. There was a steady influx of customers. Overall, it was a good bang for your buck. Not sure I would've paid full price for fish n chips.
