Burger Fi has a special place in my heart since I have been to its first location many times. It is a fast casual hamburger chain that also serves beer and wine. The first restaurant opened in 2011 in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea in a former Burger King. They have now grown to over 120 restaurants in 20 states and internationally. They also own Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. I ended up at this BurgerFi by accident but it ended up being a happy one. I was actually in line two doors down at another burger restaurant, Skinny Louie's which had just opened. The line was so long and I kept getting pushed and shoved by the people moving past me. After not moving an inch for over 10 minutes I peered over to see where some music was coming from. That is when I spotted the buy one burger get one free sign at BurgerFi and it was enough to get me to come on over. It turns out that they were celebrating their five year anniversary. They had a DJ, coloring station for the kids, coupons, and food specials. I thought it was only the burgers that were buy one get one free but they ended up giving me two whole meals with fries and drinks for the price of one cheeseburger. They even brought some ice cream over after. The manager Mark made me feel so welcome as did the other employees. It was the complete opposite of my experience at Skinny Louie's where I felt like I was just in the way. Everyone thanked me for coming in. I left very full and very happy. read more

This was by far the worst BurgerFi experience I've ever had. The restaurant was visibly dirty and basic sanitation supplies were unavailable, including hand soap, hand sanitizer, and even sufficient napkins for all tables. The bathroom did not lock and had no soap, which is completely unacceptable for a food establishment. The food itself was extremely disappointing completely unseasoned, bland, and it made me feel sick to my stomach afterward. I regularly visit my local BurgerFi near my home and have never had an issue, which is why this experience was especially shocking. I only visited this location because I was seeing a movie nearby. Throughout our entire time there, an employee was wearing headphones and singing loudly and nonstop, creating an unprofessional and uncomfortable environment for customers. This behavior continued the entire visit and was not addressed. Additionally, when a cup was forgotten from my order, I had to repeatedly ask for it and was deliberately ignored while standing at the counter. This location appears to be severely mismanaged. The lack of sanitation, professionalism, and basic customer service is unacceptable by any standard. BurgerFi is typically a reliable brand, which makes this location stand out in the worst possible way. I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this location unless significant improvements are made. read more

NO HORMONES, NO ANTIBIOTICS... Lets get right to it...the double smash burger was juicy and each bite had a blast of flavor. The pile of home cut fries were bigger than the burger and seasoned well (see pic). BurgerFi gives 20% off for military and first responders. The restaurant was clean with a large outside patio with Adirondack chairs and umbrella shades. Loved the thick light shellacked wood table with Franklin lights hovering above. The self serve touch screen soda machine is a nice convenience for customers with an array of sudsy choices. For dessert, they offer a milkshake station with a choice of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate with whip cream and multi colored sprinkles. The bathroom was clean with solid cement flooring and the extra giant toilet paper roll is always an important addition. read more

When traveling I try to find a good local spot, but I'll settle for local chains I can't get at home when I need something quick. BurgerFi fit that bill. I ordered online to get it a little quicker and save some time. The door closest to the main street was locked, so I went around to the other entrance. The signage was clear for pickup orders. Customer service was okay, but it definitely gave off end-of-the-day tired vibes, wondering why I'm ordering a burger shortly before 9pm. The burger itself was... okay? The box made it seem like the burger was going to be pretty sizable, but it barely took up the bottom of the shell. Taste was good, but comparable to burgers at other establishments for half the price. The caramelized onions were the best part of the burger, which is a weird thing to say - and maybe not reflective on the burger quality. Unfortunately this was a miss for me. The burgers came out COLD because they gave the orders to 4 other single people instead of us. We waited for FIFTY MINUTES, and they forgot to put an extra patty or ANY CONDIMENTS on my burger. Worst service ever. Went to this location in Dania Beach prior to going to the Regal Movie theatre a few steps away. I had the Chef burger that had two patties, cheese and grilled onions, oh so good. I hadn't eaten bread for a while and sometimes you just need a good semi greasy burger. I usually get the lettuce wraps when I eat from Burger Fi but not today. We also shared fries, a soda and a Chocolate Shake. You order in the counter and the fast and efficient servers bring the meal to your table. I finally spoke up and told them my name and she looked at 1 bag and not the other... she then started doing something else and I spoke up again after about 2 min and said that the other bag might be mine... and it was. We asked about the shake drinks and she was just lackluster and we decided to skip the drinks and go sit out front at the tables. The burger was a D+ The fries were a F!!! Soggy and undercooked Oil needs to be changed I took them back to be remade and the Fry maker got on his PHONE and left my fries again to sit and the line guy (bigger set dark man) he had to tell the guy "get off the phone and serve her the fries!!" This is next to the Regal 4DX cinemas. Well lit place and has a constant flow of traffic but never overly crowded. Usual Burger/Sandwich fare and it is quick service and plenty of parking. What impressed me most when I went last time was they had $1 beer. I thought it would be some cheap unbranded stuff. But no they had regular brands. And you don't even need to make a purchase to get the deal. I did get a chicken sandwich though. This was in March. The food was great. Normal burger fi. However their current system doesn't work that well because we waited almost an 1 to get our food. We ordered through the kiosk as asked, took a number and sat outside. After that, we waited and they brought us a kids meal that we didn't order 2x after we told them that wasn't our order. The place was very well lit and had two soda machines that you can get a variety of different Coca-Cola products with any mixture you can possibly dream of! The Smashburger was truly exceptional and I have to say that they are veggie patty was surprisingly good for what it was. The cheese was what rounded out the dish wonderfully with it being melted in between the patties and giving it that nice cheesy flavor that I love in a burger. I also ordered a side of fries and for a regular side, you get a very nice amount! There was the perfect amount of salt on it and every fry had the right amount of crisp without being too crunchy or too soggy! For two burgers and a regular fry it ran about $28 so I do think that you are going to be spending a little bit here for what you were getting but I definitely will be back in the future because I loved the Patty that I got and everything was great without any complaints! read more

I've been here a couple times in the past for a quick bite. My husband and I were starving and wanted to get something that would be fast. We waited a few minutes in line before we were able to order. We ordered a burger each with a side of regular fries. We weren't in the mood for soft drinks so we just asked for a couple cups for water. I ordered the BurgerFi Burger, which is just your standard cheeseburger. My husband ordered the Conflicted Burger which has one angus beef patty with a vegan/plant based patty! Despite it being a bit busy as it was during the weekend in the afternoon- we didn't have to wait long at all. We were starving and ate our burgers and fries pretty fast but that's not to say we both didn't enjoy our meals. I forgot their patties are thin (smashburger style) so I had only ordered a single patty for my burger. Despite this, I found it to still be pretty filling and quite satisfying. Whenever we want a tasty and fast burger our go to stop is BurgerFi in Dania Pointe in Hollywood. Tonight we had our cheese Burgers and sweet potato fries which were made to perfection and delicious as always. Tonight as we were eating we got to meet and had a nice conversation with Mark, who is a member of the South Broward BurgerFi Management Team. His personality was warm ,friendly and clearly enthusiastic about the BurgerFi product. He shared the company's mission statement, their business/customer philosophy and why they are a successful operation. It was very interesting to hear! He appreciated our loyalty to the company and was gracious enough to gift us two milkshakes on the house which he clearly didn't have to do. Which BTW, the BurgerFi milkshakes are AMAZING!!! As always we enjoyed our delicious and quickly served meal and will definitely be back when we have that " burger and fries " fire in our empty stomachs! Sir it is 9:05 and other people were still dining in. We also asked for cajun seasoning on our fries. They gave us fries with 0 seasoning. The cashier was lazy too. He made us order on the touch screen because he did not want to take our order. The touchscreen menu wasn't even working. So we made him come back and physically put in our order. Had to have high, high hopes for a burger... ...but was a bit let down. Stopped in last week for dinner with the family after arriving at our hotel within walking distance. We placed our order at the counter and took a seat. My wine had bits of cork floating in it. They ran out of kid's meal juice and were forced to use the freestyle soda machine that our kids weren't a fan of. The facility could have definitely been a lot cleaner than what I was witnessing. Our order is served to us (after what felt like was too long) and we are missing an order of fries. So I have to go up to the counter and wait for them to make one. I had THE CEO -Double Premium Wagyu Blend, Homemade Candied Bacon-Tomato Jam, Truffle Aioli, Garlic Aioli, Aged Swiss Cheese. Very flavorful, but could have been so much hotter, it felt a little cold. Our sons got a cheeseburger and hot dog, they were just basic and their fries were boring.. as in soggy and not appetizing. Extremely Disappointed - What Happened to BurgerFi? I walked into this BurgerFi excited for a good meal, but the experience was awful from the moment I stepped in. We were told to order at the touchscreen kiosk, but the moment I touched the screen, it froze. We had to stand around waiting until one of the employees came back from taking out the trash just so we could place our order. When we finally got our food, I noticed it was packed to go--even though I had selected dine-in. I politely asked for a tray, and the employee flat-out told me no because they were closing. This was at 9:05 PM, a full hour before their posted closing time. I told him if that's the case, I'd rather just leave. As I walked out, I heard the employees laughing and mocking us. As a former BurgerFi employee, this was especially upsetting. I used to be proud to work here--I believed it was the best burger joint around. But after tonight, it's clear that the quality, hospitality, and standards have completely gone downhill. Really, really disappointing. read more

15 minute wait time for a kids meal with only one table occupied and when the food arrived the food was bland. Came here for the first time and have a good experience. Tried their french fries and it's super crispy. It made from the fresh potato (not frozen). All the condiments and utensils are available near the fountain drinks. The staff is nice and very helpful. The service is also fast. I ordered the ceo. Aside from the fact that it wasn't actually hot, the burger had no truffle aioli and the tomato bacon jam had zero bacon. It tastes like a sweet salsa. I'm unsure of what was actually in it because there were chunks of something chewy that resembled mushrooms? Unsure. Definitely not bacon pieces though. The onion rings were a little burnt, oily, and had no salt on them. The restaurant itself is a bit dirty. The stars are for the staff being welcoming and nice. Very disappointed with the food. Ok experience at BurgerFi at Dania Pointe. Stopped by before a Sunday matinee at the new movie theater. The location was empty around lunchtime, so we were served quickly. The ordering experience was a bit awkward. I ordered the VegeFi burger and the staff asked if I wanted anything on it. The menu showed that it came with a lot of things on it already, so I wasn't sure what my options were. I also had downloaded the app for a free regular fries. She asked what size and what toppings...I got the smallest size with no toppings, but still ended up paying about $1 for the "free" fries. Not a big deal, but a little strange. It would be helpful if staff asked "have you been here before?" to make the experience a little smoother. It took about 15 minutes to receive the food. I'm OK with a little wait to get the food fresh, but I imagine it takes longer as the place gets busier. They were out of ketchup in the large pump, so I had to get individual packets from the front register. Food - The VegeFi burger was delicious. Great for vegetarians, and excited to see something that isn't Beyond/Impossible branded. S had the BurgerFi Burger, which he enjoyed. The fries were just OK...would not order again. Overall, I would give this place another shot, especially because I really enjoyed the VegeFi burger. The good news is that the place was open on time, which is more than I can say about the Mexican restaurant a few doors down that we had gone to first. The dining area was clean. We ordered a burger, an order of fries, and a chicken bowl which is basically a simple salad with a grilled chicken breast on top. The service was fairly quick and they got the food out to us without issue. Overall we were underwhelmed and felt the food was mediocre. chef paul has a brilliant vision because as far as i know this is the only burger joint where if you bring your own pucks you can play shuffleboard on the tables because they are covered in enough salt to satisfy competition regulations only a genius like chef paul could turn cost saving measures and deliberate understaffing into a fun and unique customer experience read more

THE NEW BURGER KING I ordered one large fry and two shakes. One of the shakes Oreo the other shake being chocolate .It took 20 minutes to receive the shakes and on a Friday night with only one person working in the shake station. That's unacceptable. I expected the shakes to come out on BurgerFi standards. It was below the bars. Both shakes tasted like vanilla There was not an authority figure. No one looked like a manager. Everyone was talking. No one was wearing hairnets. Nobody was wearing hairnets. Nobody was in regulation for clothing standards there was no organization. No one was helping with directing timely service the ambience was terrible. There were two TVs in the restaurant and neither were showing anything. Both were on the sign in login page There was overly loud music playing couldn't hold a conversation with someone beside you. The fries were cold. The shakes were terrible all for $22. We chalked it up as a bad night and went back again to have the experience repeat itself times two, as we had two others in our group who shared the same sentiments. Simple courtesy by your staff and fresh fries (again we're soggy and tasted as if fried in old oil) and speaking only on my burger, it was nothing to bring me back for the price. What I don't understand - there is no exceptions to menu choices - if I say no mayo and add mustard or if I say no lettuce add pickles, how is it the burger served ONLY the way it shown on menu? I waited about 10 min for them to bring out my food, which showed Dine In on the receipt (the cashier messed up), so they had to bag my food. Then it took another 5 min for them to get my milkshake. This location located in Dania Pointe was awful. When we first walked in the people in front of us were were just about to order. The person I assume is the manager (a large older black woman working in the kitchen) tells the girl working the register to switch with another girl. When the manager asked where the other girl was she tells her she's outside on her phone. So the manager comes up and switches with the girl so she can get the one that's MIA. When it came our time to order the girl had now arrived. We ordered a single cheeseburger and a single BBQ burger with a side of regular fries. I let the girl know my wife and I just wanted water cups. She said they don't have that and wanted to charge me for 2 cups. I told her that I wasn't going to pay for 2 cups when I'm only grabbing tap water. She seemed hesitant but gave me the cups for water. When we got our food the burgers did not taste good and were flat. I know food doesn't always look like the picture but damn I wasn't expecting McDonald's quality for that price point.
