Stopped by this Colombian fast food spot on a Friday night with family, and it was such a vibe! The service was great friendly and attentive servers made us feel right at home. The playlist? On point. They were playing reggaeton oldies that had me dancing in my seat while eating. I ordered deditos de queso (tequeños) accompanied by a guava dipping sauce and a Colombian arepa stuffed with shredded beef (arepa de choclo con carne desmechado), melted cheese, and a delicious white sauce drizzle it was flavorful,super satisfying and filling. One of the highlights was the rotating tray of five different sauces brought to the table with every meal. From a sweet tangy sauce to a creamy cilantro mayo and your classic pink sauce (ketchup + mayo), each one added something special. I highly recommend trying them all they really elevate the meal. By the time we were halfway through our meal, every table and seat was taken up definitely a good sign for a Friday night! The spot is tucked into a plaza and easy to miss if you're not looking, but it's absolutely worth seeking out. Hoping they get even more foot traffic because this place deserves the love.
I have noticed this venue attracting a steady stream of patrons when I'm in this strip mall for another one of my favorite spots and, after reading a few reviews, decided to try. So glad I did! What I discovered was a delicious array of Columbian street food that made me kinda want to try everything! Very clean place with a very nice accommodating staff. Settled on a menu noted favorite, Verdalago burger that was amazing. Burger, grilled chicken, ham, cheese, crushed potato chips (wht not?), coleslaw, and (I know I'm missing something), special sauce and more ! Shared deditos de queso with a guava sauce that were very yummy. They give you 5 different sauces at the table. Garlic, cilantro, pineapple, pink sauce (?), guava, ketchup. Open 'til 1am for party people! Will be back to work my way through the menu!

It had the feel of a local business, so we were surprised to find out later Los Verdes is a S Florida chain. We were greeted and seated quickly. Even though Spanish is the primary language spoken here, the employees were gracious to speak English with us. The three of us ordered a beef empanada side, the Carne beef burger, Chori Perro, and the Pollo Desmechado Arepa. The quail egg on top of the Chori Perro was a novelty and overall, my daughter enjoyed the dog and the toppings. The burger was solid and the accompanying fries had a real nice crunch and good seasoning. Massive amounts of shredded chicken spilled out of my arepa! While the flavor of the chicken and cheese didn't pop for me, I turned to their famous sauces. My favorites were the cilantro and the garlic. I tried the pineapple, and although the taste hit good, I knew I'd be overwhelmed by the sweetness for the whole arepa. I did not try the ketchup-mayo combo. Beverages include beer, Jarritos brand soda, juices, and Hatsu drinks, and milkshakes can be purchased. For dessert, we purchased a slice of caramel flan to-go. We all agreed after that we'd return should we be in the area again.
I was really craving a hotdog, specifically medellin style and Los Verdes did not disappoint. Great service and ambiance. Our food came out quick and our server was really nice. We all tried different things from the menu and enjoyed everything. This is a great spot for some colombian style burgers and dogs!
Los Verdes never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious, packed with great flavor, and always served warm and fresh. The quesadilla con todo is easily a 10/10--loaded, cheesy, and perfectly satisfying every time. They also have a great Colombian hot dog, and the empanadas are so good you could easily eat a whole plate without even realizing it. Don't forget the maicitos, they're a must and always hit the spot. And you can never go wrong pairing all that good food with a classic Colombian soda or an ice-cold Águila beer. Overall, it's comfort food done right and a place where the service is really good, friendly, fast, and attentive. The restaurant is well kept, clean, and welcoming, with good music that adds to the vibe.
Had me wait almost an hour for just 1 quesadilla. Was sitting inside waiting while they had my food on the shelf getting cold. The cashier knew I was there waiting to pick up and never bothered to check on me or the food. Had to get up and check for myself just to see it was already sitting there. Then after all that I get home just to find out they gave me the wrong quesadilla. I ordered the todo quesadilla and received just chicken and cheese. Very disappointed
I love cachapas. I'm so happy I have where so close that has them. Pricing great. Service great. Staff is nice. And the cachapa was PERFECT. DELICIOUS AND TASTY
Yelp's Big Night In (#YelpsBigNightIn) has been a great idea. It's a perfect way to stay active in the midst of self-isolation, while at the same time contributing to our local economy. For this event I chose Los Verdes. First, because is a Colombian place quite close to me, and second, because I've had them on my list of bookmarked places for a while. And It was time to finally check them out! I ordered through the app, and as expected the food was ready on time. They have a great set up in this times of self-distancing and quarantine. They created a desk in front of the locale to prevent people from walking in, but still be able to hand out items while adhering to the self-distancing rules. When I approached the door to pick up my order in full protective gear, it was awesome to hear the merengue music playing in the locale. It brought back a sense of normalcy that has been lacking now for a while. Only mistake was the waitress got my name wrong. Jenifer? Really? She spent a minute or two passin a bag she thought belong to a Jennifer, and I certainly don't look like a Jennifer! Lol! (I don't blame her though! Lol - But she's gonna have to make it to me eventually!) In regard to the food, it was delicious. Colombian food hits that spot between comfort and decadence. And I know, I know, you might be telling yourself, decadence? For a burger? - remember we are still under quarantine! Pray to God this doesn't turn into the Hunger Games soon. So yes, a burger is decadent! Especially when it melts in your mouth and the cheese starts running, and the have placed chip under the burger like Colombians do, and the juices... you know what? How about you order from Los Verdes, and you'll see what I mean! - I highly recommend it!
Perfect place to come when you are craving that yummy food, even better after a day/night of drinking. All their food is amazing and quality/price is the best. The quesadillas, tequeños, toston burger and bowls are decilidious!!! Food is also pretty quick which just makes everything a million times better
i got the chicken quesadilla filled with chicken cheese and sauce stuffed to the max it was so flavorful with with the sauce super fresh and so good food was cooked perfectly .
This place is little and tucked away in the shopping plaza but don't overlook it because it is absolutely phenomenal! When I went, I chose the tostone chicken burger. It basically is mouthwatering food in between more mouth watering food. The shredded chicken was perfectly seasoned and had an amazing color to it because of the spices used. The tostones were perfectly fried and had the right amount of salt on them so they weren't overpowering. You get a side of fries with it, and while the fries were good, they weren't anything to rave about, basically your average fries given at many other restaurants. The service was pretty good but our waitress disappeared once we received the food and couldn't get refills until we waved her down. The prices are insanely well priced for the amount of food that you receive and you bet I will definitely be back!
I always like to try a little bit of everything when I go somewhere new. La picada was my favorite dish and I'm sure that had a lot to do with all the sauces! So let's just say maybe the sauces were my favorite part. The hot dog and the chicharrón in the picada had a nice fried texture and so did the fries. The hot dog was also nice because of all the sauce but the hot dog didn't have the crispy fried texture that it did in the picada. The service was also great. Our waitress was super friendly and was on top of our orders. The food is definitely not on the healthy side but if I could I'd go more often
I've had a craving for something new and my brother was ordering food from here so I decided to try it out and boy was I not disappointed. I love quesadillas, and this place by far has the best quesadilla I've had so far. Everything tastes fresh and hot. You can get chicken, steak , bacon, or all three if you're really hungry. They top with some drizzle of a sauce that I have no idea what it is but it's really good and on top of that they put crushed chips. Which sounds different, but it works. The Cachapa is really good as well, super cheesy and super fresh. You would think maybe with it being delivered it might be warm or slightly cold, but no, everything came hot, and I live a bit away from the restaurant. I've tried some other things on the menu and they're just as good. Overall 5/5, the pricing is fair and you get pretty big portions. I will be ordering again.
I placed an order for pick up at this location. The location I'm Miami lakes is my favorite and In the past I have not had the best customer service experience at this location, but I decided to give it another try. The food was great. It was done on time and ready for pickup when I got there and still tasted fresh when we ate it. Also, the sauces are the best at los verdes and they gave us so many without even asking! As soon as I walked in I noticed the music was really loud. I could barely hear what the hostess was telling me. I wasn't greeted or had a warm welcome when I walked in nor when I was waiting for the food, so It's safe to say customer service is not the best at this location. If you can look past the customer service, the food is really good and worth a try. read more

Had dinner at Los Verdes and it absolutely hit the spot. Started off with the deditos, which were crispy and delicious, especially paired with their amazing guava sauce. Sweet, tangy, and totally addictive. For the main dish, I had the cachapa de pollo and it was fantastic. The corn pancake was soft and slightly sweet, perfectly balancing the savory shredded chicken and cheese. One of the best parts of the meal was the variety of sauces they offer at the table. You can mix and match with every bite, creating endless flavor combos that make the whole experience even more fun. A late night guilty pleasure topped with crushed potato chips & ALL the sauces! Los Verdes holds a special place in my heart & now there's one down the street from me?! I'm in trouble. I've been here a couple of times and I love every single thing I've gotten. Maybe I just like when things are topped with crushed potato chips and pineapple sauce... Regardless, the food doesn't seem to disappoint whomever I bring here. From the hot dogs to burgers to quesadillas, they've all been delicious. Although I have tried this place in sunrise a long time ago I was happy they opened one close to me. We came there on a Friday night and it was busy but not so busy. It took about 10-15 minutes to be asked if we wanted something to drink and by that time we were already ready to order! So we waited about 20 minutes or maybe longer for the food. I ordered the Carne burger because it was one of their popular options as well as the bbq burger. I wasn't really a fan of the burger and didn't finish most of it because I didn't think it was that great. I remember their hotdogs being pretty good too. I liked how they have a lot of options but I didn't like how long it took for someone to come ask us if we wanted something to drink. I also didn't like how they added 18% Tax gratuity to the bill automatically. Because we weren't even asked for refills or being helped. I get that if it's busy it'll be longer but it wasn't that busy where they couldn't greet us. It was just a little disappointing overall. However, if you do want to try this place, check in on Yelp and get 15% off your order! The pink sauce and the green sauce are a hit. I liked it a lot when I was dipping it with my fries. Los Verdes is the only LV I can afford..lol jk. But yeah like the place emphasizes it's "more than just burgers." Today we ordered the chicken quesadilla topped off with the pink sauce and corn flakes and it was just amazing. It was "slap ya silly" good. The thing is I believe it's better for sharing and not a whole meal as the cheese can be a little overwhelming. We also ordered salchipapa... chopped up sausages mixed in with fries. Throw on the mix of garlic, veggie and pink sauce and you got yourself a finesseful order of fries! Lastly, I ordered the famous verdolaga which is a burger and grilled chicken sandwich in one topped off with lettuce, tomato and corn flakes. In my opinion, the chicken is better than the beef here. So if you just want one of the options go with chicken They also have other things like salad, arepas, kernel corn, hot dogs, and much more! Service was alright. Doesn't look like much at first but this restaurant is a gem in the Pembroke Pines area! I eat here very often. I usually order online and my order is always accurately made! I've dined in quite a few times as well, needless to say the employees here are very friendly & polite. I would recommend Los Verdes to anyone as they have a customizable menu, and a pineapple flavored sauce that I cannot get enough of. It is usually open till 2 AM, so you can always get a late night snack. I reccomend the Pollo Hamburguesa & cookies n' cream milkshake. I would recommend this establishment 10/10 times for a quick bite (or a tasty dessert!) read more

The Good Stuff The food is great, fast friendly service The fries are bomb The restrooms are clean They are open late The Biggest Let Down Bring extra padding for your tushy! The upholstered banquettes really really irked me (weird I know, but seriously they are just so uncomfortable) . Although they look great and were done with really thick vinyl fabric, the padding lacks density and you feel every piece of 2x4 and plywood that is beneath the frame. It makes it hard to sit comfortably. At the end of the seat, closest to the window you literally feel the sink in the chair when any weight or force is added. The upholsterer who made these definitely skimped on materials including using the proper springs/webbing. Room For Improvement Not sure if allowed in this plaza but a few bistro seats outside would be great They should consider switching to paper straws or a no straw system Veggie burgers options would be amazing read more

The most interesting hot dog I've ever had. I got the Los Verdes hot dog. It has a quail egg on it, motzorella cheese, pineapple sauce, los Verdes sauce and potato chips. Its such an interesting flavor! But I really like it. And they aren't over priced! They are open till 1am so perfect for after gym protein. I will definitely want to try more. Like their tostone burger that looks good! Probably one of the best and weirdest dogs I've eaten Also I looked at bill if I didn't use the 15% check in it was only 6$ and change. This was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed. I was craving a good burger and that is exactly what I got! They have great sauces in the burger and they bring all the sauces to the table so you can add as much as you want! My fiancé had the quesadilla which he also said was great! Cheat mealers rejoice!!! This place is just what the doctor ordered when you are craving something for the senses, saucey, crunchy, cheesey and salty. Put crunchy potato chips on anything and I am there! And the place is open late night (4am on Friday and Saturday nights, 2am on Thursday nights)! AND its walking distance from my house?!! This location is the best!! The arepas and burgers taste soo good. They have the best servers on staff, so nice and friendly. The manager is amazing. I come here for a quick bite often! On mondays they have 2 for 1 shakes. I would definiitely recommend everyone to chandler try the different burgers read more

Wanted to try this place for a while now, they have one in New York, and it was great so wanted to see if it's as great as the one in NY, it taste a bit different here in Florida but still delicious. I had salchipapas which were rich in flavor they were scrumptious, and the fries along with it were well done and extra crisp which I appreciate because who likes soggy fries? Lol I know I don't. The hotdogs were decent. Pretty flavorful a little too much flavor on the sausage itself but tasty. For dessert I had their Oreo Milkshake it was packed with a punch, very chocolatey. A little too much for my taste but if you're a chocolate lover definitely try this potent milkshake. Good customer service. Will come back to try more things in there menu. read more

This is the versatile spot you go to for lunch, dinner, drunken nights or feeling spontaneous. I always get the mixed quesadilla!! It has chicken steak bacon cheese and all the little sauces your heart desires. Im not a pineapple sauce girl (im a bad colombian) but i like the pink, white and green sauce. The pink sauce is ketchup+mayo, white sauce is like garlicky, green sauce gives me a cilantro like impression. Get the quesadilla!! So much cheese. Thinking about it now makes me wanna throw out my lunch and get a MIXED QUESADILLA!! Last time i went a few weeks back i had to tell the server to thank the chef because you can tell all the love and passion that was put in between those 2 toasty tortillas. Their burgers and fries are also pretty good. The beef used in the burger is very juicy and you can tell they use quality meat. read more

This place is horrible and it's ALL DUE TO THE SERVER(s), very disappointing. I went for lunch it was 2 guest , was charged and automatic 18% gratuity and was told it's automatically when there's 6 ppl ! We're 2 OR when bill is over 30$ my bill was $29! So it didn't make sense . Girl more worried to be flirting with cook rather then serving , no water , over 20 mins for bill. Ridiculous. Do not recommend. read more

Cheap eats perfect for a late night craving or early hangover cure! I stumbled this place In this plaza and I have to say they are underrated! They have an extensive menu for hotdog or burger lovers! I love the sauces they have that add the perfect touch to each dish! Also dont forget to order a cachapa to satisfy your sweet craving! read more
