This place was a last minute thought and we were not disappointed! Stopped for petrol right next door to this place and we were very hungry after our MTB ride. Searched food around us and this place popped up. Enough parking in front, it's in a strip plaza. It's really nicely decorated, simple and stunning. It wasn't very busy. Not a very big place, enough seating for at least 20 people, maybe more. Not ideal for large parties. Our waiter/bartender/cashier (that one guy did everything!) was so pleasant and hustled around in no time at all to serve everyone. He always had a smile on his face despite how busy he was. We ordered 2 different hamburgers and oh my gosh were they good! Don't be afraid of that garlic sauce, it's not overly garlicky at all :) The hamburgers were cooked to perfection and all the toppings were delicious! Bravo to the chef! Everything was reasonably priced. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will be back when we're in the area and also try some of the Colombian treats. read more

This little Colombian-Venezuelan restaurant is tucked in a small strip mall on the corner of S.R. 84 and Indian Trace in Weston. Had I not gone snooping around, I would have missed its great-tasting home-cooked food and large portions. I ordered a Tamal Tolimense, which is similar to an hallaca (ah-ya-ka), but greater in flavor and colossal in size! This is a corn meal dough with a filling of pork, chicken, boiled egg, carrots, peas, and potatoes, all wrapped up in plantain leaves. I also ordered a small chicken soup and a chicken-filled arepa. Why I thought I would fit it all, I do not know, but honestly, I was not expecting such generous portions. I was extremely satisfied with the food and also the service. I guess this restaurant proves the adage "Don't judge a book by it's cover." It seems to be a small and simple cafe, with some Colombian-Venezuelan cuisine, and some American comfort/fast food. At first, it looked like it was going to be a bust. They had a few empanadas in the display case that may have been made recently. We asked for pasta alfredo from the menu; they were out. So my wife and I eventually ordered chicken tenders...mine with fries and hers with a salad. When the platters came, I was astounded. I have never got servings this large! And the food was good! The prices were decent, around 13-14 dollars per plate, but for that much food, you could eat for a week. My wife also got a "smoothie" but from what she said, I think it was more likely a milkshake. The server didn't really pay much attention to us, and took her time helping us. But on the other hand, whenever we called her over, she was very helpful, patient and friendly. Called to verify if they work with DoorDash and the answer was yes spoked to manager and I made him aware I was placing and order since they were not delivering. This order was for a family of 7 after placing so it showed that it was processed and it was been prepared waited for 20 minutes only to find out it was rejected by the restaurant that's completely unexepytable not a phone call or nothing. I am giving 4 because of the food and it not 5 because of the service . If it was for service they would have got 1 start . Last few times has ben not good but this time it has been the worst . Cute little Colombian place next to a Tapas restaurant. For informal lunch, I recommend Rikuras. Leave the Tapas place for a nicer occasion. This Rikuras place is kid-friendly. Get their Platano Burger and their natural juices. I recommend passion fruit/chinola/maracuya. I asked for the chicken fingers for kids without the French fries but they said they couldn't do that even after I said I would pay the full price, just don't bring them out. Weird. They also did not prepare the cheese sticks on time (arrived after we were done with lunch) and I just asked them to remove them from the bill. I enjoyed the meal and so did the kids (14, 8, 8). Every restaurant has to be judged for what it is. One should not go into small local cafe and expect services of a 3-star Michelin services and ambience for low price. What makes all equal at the end of the day is "food" so by this standard, the food here is simply but it is decent. The potions are big and prices are fairly low. I wouldn't recommend any dishes with steak in it because for some reason they are all precooked in advance and they just re-grilled they for order, however, anything that's like a stew usually are good. read more

I was looking for new place to try a burger near me. We ordered delivery. The menu online says there is an English option, but I could not find it. It kept directing me to the Spanish menu. I was able to read it enough. I called in my order, the girl that answered the phone was helpful. Our order took a little longer then the 20min that was stated, but we LOVED their burgers and fries and will definitely be ordering again. I love the fact that this place is right by my house so when I'm in the mood for a bandeja paisa, I don't have to go far. I have had better Colombian food here in Broward but this place does take the edge off when I'm craving some comida Colombiana. If you go, I recommend trying their Colombian Burger (topped with lettuce, tomato, bacon, mozzarella cheese, pineapple sauce, pink sauce and papitas) or the Colombian Hot Dog (mozzarella, papitas, pink sauce and pineapple sauce) with 3 little Quail Eggs. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Stop by to this place as I saw the Colombian flag in their windows. Customer service from the guy at the front counter was very rude and when I asked about any bakery item like if the coffee was Colombian he did not even look up us to our eyes. when we asked about what type of meat of empanadas has, he said what ever you see there, he said the only coffee we have is the one you see there and it is Italian coffee.
