Ate here for the first time last night. The wait was not long. I placed my order on the kiosk at the entrance. I like how the menu is displayed largely for everyone to see. Very seamless experience and I will definitely be returning for the wings alone. On this visit I had the garlic Parmesan wings With fries and tried the eggrolls plus their lemonade . They also have desserts and their banana pudding cheese cake was delicious. We ordered the chicken and Philly cheesesteak, New York corned beef and barbecue brisket. I hadn't been to this spot in years but I visited the Boynton location prior. This time, I stopped by in Hollywood and it was conveniently located in a large plaza with a gas station near by. You can order at the touch screen available near the counter. The menu is largely displayed upon entering with all the egg roll options and they have chicken wings, fries & other food items. Because I wanted to try 2 different flavors i got the mix and match of the griot & soul food egg roll. The soul food is by far my favorite! Was shopping in the area and decided to stop by to check this place out. Everything egg roll with some very interesting combinations. It was difficult to decide. There is a lot of seating and the ambiance is pretty artsy and cool. We got to the counter to place our order and were greeted by the attendant who was really courteous and polite. We decided to order the lasagna egg roll which came with lasagna pasta, beef and mozzarella cheese in a crusty egg roll shell and marinara dipping sauce with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Okay previous times I've gone in, no problems. Today I placed an online order which has an up charge through DoorDash so that it'd be ready in advance and I would not need to wait... well, as I walked in I was told it wasn't ready even after my promise time passed. I used to love World Famous -- the mac & cheese was rich, cheesy, and full of flavor, and the vibe had that homegrown, soulful energy. But lately, it just hasn't been hitting the same. The portions are still solid, but the flavor feels like it's missing that original magic. The mac isn't as creamy, and the overall experience feels a bit rushed and less consistent than it used to be. This place is literally down the street from where my husband & I live. It always pops up when we search nearby restaurants, so this time we tried it because the Publix deli ran out of chicken wings! This is my first time, trying the world, famous Agro, food truck if some of you don't know this food truck travels to different locations and Miami of Florida area not sure cause like I said this is my first time and so far it was a good experience. The food is a lot. I didn't realize that until I bought it I thought maybe there was only one, but it came with four eggrolls and which look like if you were eating a fully loaded baked potato, but instead of that is a egg roll and it has different ones from hibachi to Philly cheesesteak and seafood. The service is pretty fast even though the lines are super long and because it's a food truck you need to prepare yourself for standing out in the sun, but I would suggest that it's worth it because their food is great, especially their lemonade. I NEVER reviews but the soul food egg roll is one of the best foods I've ever put in my mouth. The sauce on top is soooo delicious and the egg roll wrapper is crisped perfectly. I loved it so much I sent the info to my dad who is in Arizona. which again is something I never do. Restaurants nowadays have no flavor and are carbon copies of everything else. I been to World Famous Lauderdale Lakes location and enjoyed my food. Today I decided to try their newest location in Hollywood. I called and placed my order and it was ready when I got there. The place is beautiful inside but it was ghost town. I waited a little while for someone to come and greet me. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and a mango punch. The food they handed off to me was completely garbage and uneatable. The meat was overcooked, hard and tasted old. I believe all they did was reheated the meat but it definitely wasn't fresh at all. I was highly disappointed and end up trashing my meal. I can't believe they would give a customer such garbage food. The mango punch was good at least but I completely wasted $10 on egg rolls. I will say that they definitely can be shared by 2 people the portions are generous and it's quite filling and so indulgent. The place wasn't as clean as it should especially now with Covid. Employees should be wiping the tables down after guest leave and just maintain the area a bit cleaner. There was flies everywhere and just dirty used napkins on the tables from previous diners. The menu is listed on the wall. Just about most menu items have "worlds best" next to it. The strawberry lemonade got my attention. It looked good. It was a little pricey. It was five something. But After seeing it and tasting it. It was worth it. It's pretty big. It is really good too. It had grinded strawberries inside. I ordered the korean eggroll mix and match with a Buffalo chicken eggroll. I enjoyed it. It was good. It was a good size. The sauce was good on both. The parmesan fries are awesome. My favorite. The signage of the place outside doesn't give any indication what they sell. So I was curious -- maybe that's intentional. I thought the whole place was kind of weird. It's very greasy and has an enormous somewhat confusing menu on the wall. I've had much better egg rolls elsewhere. The eggroll shell tasted very pre-made. It was all served hot so that was good. French fries were the main side available and when I asked for ketchup the clerk that waited on me was from another location and didn't know if they had ketchup. A shaky start in Hollywood, but we're going back. We're not quite giving up yet! It's a neat concept, but a simple concept that should be a no-brainer! This weekend, I'm going back to prove my first experience wrong, however let's dive into the good stuff: a) It's clean (the Hollywood location is NEW) b) Nice glass up between you and the order area c) Didn't visit the bathroom but saw someone mopping that area, very clean. Nice, detailed menu, great photos. Nice explanation of what's in the roll, since I can't see it online. I wanted to know what's in the soul food roll, but had to go to the store to the menu. Nice POS system - easy to cash in/out. The order taker was a bit too fast. She kept hitting PRINT, instead of asking if we wanted it email or text to us. I said, "I'd like it text to me", she just walked away, but gheez, let's save the planet one receipt at the time. So, I'm going to double-down on this potential GOOD spot, however it didn't scream wonderful all the way last night. We stopped by around 9:20pm, which may explain why it was a bit off; it was late. We ordered $36.00 of food: 1. Slice of red velvet (GREAT) 2. Slide of banana bread pudding (GREAT) 3. 1 Hibachi Roll (full role) - HORRIBLE/GARBAGE- BAD, SMELL 4. 1 Chicken & Waffles = DRY, EDIBLE, but over-fried So, the HIbachi has a weird, weird old, rotten smell. We got home and upon taste, I spit it out. My daughter ate one slice, said it tasted weird, but wouldn't order again. I ended up throwing the other 3 pieces away. Today, I tried to reheat using my Air Fryer. I really wanted to like it. I thought it was my smell buds or taste buds last night, so I saved two in the fridge; thought it's gotta be good. Crisped back up nicely however the odd smell was there. Not a fishy smell, but a rotten meat smell, almost a 'roach' smell. Can't describe it. Anyway, it hit the garbage. Well, the Chicken & Waffles was nice; a bit dry - like over-friend. I almost ordered the Lagna Roll. Now the CAKES were fab! The red velvet was $3, however the banana cheesecake was $6, overpriced. It was good, quality but too pricey, it's not worth the Cheesecake Factory price. Of course, they are NOT making these, so they are ordering this from someone, so there's a markup. I want to try the wings next! They might nail that! I'd encourage them to keep the fryer clean. We eat out alot and we know when the fryer is dirty, you can taste a strange but familiar after-taste. So, I hope they keep the kitchen clean and keep the oil changed. Heavy frying requires oil changes! Most Asian restaurants ruin a great concept with laziness. Food fried in dirty oil starts to have a weird after-taste. I never knew what it was until one of my personal customers in my business worked in restaurants and she said, "Oh, the oil is old, so it may smell rancid or have an after taste'. I didn't have that smell or taste w/ the chicken and waffle, but it was definitely there on the HIbachi roll. I will be careful NOT TO go to late,as maybe the staff gets tired or lazy or the food is old. I love the concept. I have seen them around town in their food trucks, so they are doing something right, I just think I got a bad batch late at night. I also ordered, paid extra, for each roll to UPCHARGE for flavored fries. ZERO FLAVOR. Had we not gone home, we'd returned it all for a redo but we ate at home. I pay an extra $4.00 for zero flavor. $2.81 extra on each plate for fries - I wanted Garlic fries and Vinegar fries. No flavor, just plain. I'm going to go back for breakfast, maybe I will eat there so I can give it back right away. I think they deserve a second chance, so I'll update this after I try it again. It's nice they are in Hollywood. I just hope the owner's get some good management in place, get their cleaning protcols in order, and watch out for quality. It's great to expand and have the American dream, but expansion without quality control, will lead to poor reviews and people going elsewhere. So,let's hope they get it together soon. read more

I'm rating it 2 stars not because the food isn't good but the service is bad. Especially the cooks, I get you want to go home and I wasn't planning to sit and eat, but I called an hour before I showed up and no one was answering. I did the right thing to call in my order because I was going to pass up the restaurant anyways. If the phone would've been answered in a timely manner then this review would've never happen. When they finally answered the phone it was 30mins before close just so they can tell me, "they aren't taking phone orders" I told her ok I'll be there in 5 mins. I show up she takes my order and then the cook comes up to her and tell her "there's no more wings" which was a lie because she explain their about to close, and it's a 20min process to make wings. The fact that you're going to lie just to not make the food is not cool, again I get you want to go home BUT IF YA'LL WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE, my food would've been done by the time I got there and it would've been a fast process! I called to let world-famous know that I got the wrong order and I was instructed that my name is being written down and that I can come back at any time to get the right order. Two days went by and I called to let them know that I was coming and I explained them to them the situation and I was told that no one communicated anything to anybody and my name is not written out. On a weekend trip to Hollywood, I saw the restaurant! It was about a 10min drive from Hard Rock Casino. Definitely a unique and fun experience -- so many flavors to hit any craving.
