My husband and I were in the mood for wings and decided on Wings N' Things. When we walked in I noticed that it was more crowded than usual. There were a few tables available so we were seated immediately. The sweet waitress made it over to take our drink order which arrived timely. We ordered wings and curly fries for dinner. Nothing crazy. The wings arrived over 40 minutes after we ordered. The curly fries showed up 10 minutes later and were not cooked. So I asked nicely to please cook more. All in all the food was very tasty and would definitely give them another try. It was time for an update and I'm happy it's still a sold 4 stars. Wasn't feeling particularly hungry so my husband and I just decided to split a patty melt with cheddar cheese instead of the Swiss cheese it comes with, a side of their homemade macaroni salad and some fried mushrooms. Placed the order and it was ready on time which is always a plus. A personal pet peeve of mine is when you're promised your food at a certain time then you have to sit around and wait for it. The patty melt was absolutely delicious and we were both sorry we didn't each get one for ourselves. I'd say it was one of best ones I've ever eaten. The mushrooms with a side of their horseradish sauce was also really good but the macaroni salad fell a little short. It actually had a really good taste but tasted a bit watery as if it wasn't drained enough. It also was a pretty small serving as you can see in the picture. Also, recommend you order the curly fries "crispy" to insure the perfect serving temp. This establishment has been newly redecorated and extraordinarily clean. Excellent experience and burger here! Took a chance based on reviews and had the pleasure of meeting the new owner who told me the great tale of the transfer into his hands as well as his history at the restaurant. The waitress greeted me upon entrance, gave a great suggestion to order the steak fries extra crispy so they would still be so when I got home. The black and bleu burger was cooked to a perfect medium on a super fresh bun with fresh veggies. Raw onion was a small up charge more. Burgers are discounted 25% on Thursday's making them under $13 with a side which is a steal for the quality. I ordered a cobb salad during the middle of the week in the afternoon. I was starving and was so disappointed after opening the box. At close to $16+ for a salad, I received lettuce, few carrot shreds and tomato. There was a note on the box "ran out of eggs...credited $1." I don't care how many eggs they would have put on the salad, it was not a cobb salad. I was able to get a full refund via uber eats. Wings N' Things vibe is that of a mom-and-pop small restaurant. It's a quaint little space off Griffin road in a strip mall and very unassuming. The wait staff was super quick and nice about giving us time to figure out what we wanted but still very attentive. After bouncing around to multiples places searching for wings, I think I can safely say Wing N' Things have the best overall chicken wing in Davie hands down. A friend and I were in the area for another reason and were in the mood for some chicken wings. We arrived around 11:45 AM on a Saturday and were able to get a seat. There is a daily wing special (8 or 13) and you get a side order. Boneless wings are slightly cheaper. I inquired about the Gallagher flavor and they are excellent. Curly fries were tasty too. Wings are a good size and fried perfectly. Restaurant itself (in a strip mall) is a little deceiving and not somewhere you would expect to get killer wings but the wings are outstanding. This place was long overdue. It's literally about 34 minutes from my house but glad I went to go try it out and the wings is really good. You can't call yourself wings and things and the wings are not good so the wind is good and things was good as well. This place is less than a mile from my house, so we stop in at least once a month to grab a bite to eat. The food quality is consistent and it is always fresh and tasty. The service is always out of this world with very attentive staff who know the menu and the community inside out. After seeing lots of rave reviews for Gallagher's Wings N Things Restaurant as well as on the Facebook group, Let's Eat South Florida (LESF) we decided we had to give it a try. Gallagher's had posted on their Facebook page they were extending Oktoberfest and I inquired for how long. They responded until quantities lasted. We went for a late lunch/early dinner knowing it would be a lot of food and were greeted warmly by Laura. I mentioned we heard about Wings N Things from LESF. We chatted for a few minutes and before I could ask if Brittany was working, Laura said she would be our server. Brittany was as lovely as a member of LESF had described. She oozes such warmth, sincerity and personality and made us feel so welcome. She was phenomenal. Each meal came with two sides plus bread, either garlic Texas Toast or corn bread. We ordered the hanchen schnitzel (chicken), red cabbage, cucumber salad, Texas Toast, corn bread and iced tea. We requested the gravy on the side as we don't like our food sopping in gravy. Brittany asked if we wanted mushrooms in the gravy, for which we said yes. While we were waiting for the food to come out Laura came over to chat with us again. The food came out at the proper temperatures. There was so much food I didn't know where to start first. The schnitzel was sooo tender, you didn't need a knife to cut it. The cabbage just about melted in my mouth. It had just the right amount of vinegar and sweetness. It was perfect. OMG.. and that corn bread was da bomb. Subtly sweet, not dry and really delicious. The cabbage and corn bread was really the best I've ever had. I could have made a meal on that alone. The gravy was incredibly delicious. I found myself dipping the Texas Toast in it and with each bite I was in seventh heaven. I think I was actually moaning from the sheer deliciousness of all the food. We had no room in our bellies to partake in the wonderful sounding desserts. We found out Laura makes the desserts and if the corn bread is an indication of her baking skills, then I am sorry we didn't indulge. Brittany offered us cups of tea to leave with but we politely declined. Wings has such an extensive menu. There's something for everyone. We will definitely go back, (possibly this weekend). Maybe we will start with one of Laura's desserts first. Then try their wings that everyone is raving about. On our way out we saw two diners eating the ribs and I asked if they were enjoying them. They said they were the best wings they've ever had and come a few times a week to have them. Side note... I even told them about LESF and they joined right away. I was not familiar with this restaurant but a colleague suggested it for their spectacular wings as we were trying to decide where to eat together on a Wednesday evening. This place used to be amazing. I ordered wings for a coworker and myself for lunch. We both ordered garlic Parmesan wings with celery and blue cheese. I received dry wings with one clump of garlic on one wing and no sign of Parmesan. We also received carrots instead of celery and ranch instead of blue cheese. I have been craving wings for like the past month and I am a wing snob. I like my wings crispy and not fatty, with a flavorful hot sauce. We went the night before Super Bowl because that night would be crazy to get wings! We decided to dine in. We then were offered to sit anywhere we wanted. It was us and two other tables with one person at each. The place is a decent size and can probably seat about 50 people. I ordered 10 hot wings and Cajun fries. Hubby ordered the meatloaf. I really enjoyed their wings. They were huge and meaty. Also, they were not fatty and just the right amount of crispness. I also ordered the wedge salad, which I regret. It was $9 and very blah. However, the bacon was perfect! The Cajun fries were really good too. The server was personable and nice. However, he dropped the bill off and didn't come back for it (we were paying by card). Maybe I'm a different kind of server because when I wanted to close out and get home, I would be stalking my tables for their checks to be paid lol. We got up and handed it to him. Certainly wouldn't go out of my way to get these wings . Steak fries were terrible. As you can see from the picture, they were basically raw. How hard is it to see the fries aren't done ? Why not wait two extra minutes and actually cook them through? To me this is such a simple thing and just shows a lack of caring. Tortilla chips were absolutely disgusting. Not fresh. And as cheap as a tortilla chip as you could get. Why bother putting nachos on the menu if this is what you are going to serve . I've had better tortilla chips from a vending machine. Had read a lot of positive comments about the pies so we got a slice of chocolate crème. Nothing special to be honest . Tasted like some chocolate pudding with whipped cream and graham crackers . Watch out for kids night, they have specials but the noise level can be up pretty high. We sat in the back and I ordered hot honey garlic boneless wings with celery and blue cheese. They were hot and crispy with fresh garlic. I wouldn't call them hot as I could barely feel any fire at all. The honey had to be in there but they were not too sweet. The celery was fresh and crisp. The blue cheese was tasty and plentiful. I could have just eaten a plate of their celery and Blue cheese all by itself. I've had their regular wings and they're excellent.
