Great wings. I take them breaded and hot. Uncle Al's is the only place, it seems, that has breaded wings. Uncle Al's has been around for decades and is a nice place for even the family to hang out (kids) The music is usually of my generation... older and around the 70s I will always enjoy my time there, if things stay the same. I can honestly say that this restaurant prides itself on consistency. I hadn't eaten here in 20 years and it was exactly the same as the past. The wings were the same, the smell of cigarettes was the same and the level of service was the same. We came in for lunch hoping that if we ordered the 6 wing lunch special it would be a quick. meal. We probably waited over 30 minutes after ordering to get our food and swore the cook was literally cooking 6 wings at a time. The restaurant was not very crowded and the wings were good but just took too long to be served. They still have a small video game center and 2 pool tables. I was please that they gave us a pile of napkins for our wings but no handy wipes for after the meal. The bathrooms were clean and the silverware was brought to the table in individual paper sacs. This place was is pretty popular in West Broward. I have only eaten here twice and have lived in the area a while. I have some friends who like to come here to eat. The atmosphere is straight from the 70's, when they opened. It doesn't look like they have updated it. The food is ok. I mean, I like medium buffalo with gs and fries. That is all I have gotten here. The winwings are small and wimpy. They taste pretty good but the fries are not too great. They are overrated, and I like salt. Service is tough. It wasn't too good either time I was here and they were not busy at the time. I believe they have pool tables. I remember the beer was very cold so that was a big positive. read more

I came by with a friend to grab a quick dinner at the bar. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The place was full to what seemed to me were locals. The manager was making rounds to make sure everyone was happy with there service. There's lots of TVs every where. Parking was easy. This wing place has been here for many decades. I have come here for their legendary wings since i was a kid. They have opened another location at Weston Rd and StRd 84. Similar but not exact. The Davie location has several pool tables and a big bar. I get a bowl of huge wings with medium sauce and a side of blue cheese dressing for dipping. Usually an ice cold beer too. Very disappointing. We ordered wings. I asked for hot sauce on the side and we opted for the celery & blue cheese. I do not appreciate what I call being "nickel and dimed". We were charged $1 for a small container of hot sauce and $2 for what was really 2 stalks of celery cut into pieces and a small container of blue cheese. The wings were really good. Wings were good but not really what I was looking for. They're breaded and have the full wingette with the tip and everything. I know they offer their wings naked as well but I wanted to try the wings the way they are famous for. Blue cheese seemed like it was house made. They charge you for it (which is wack.) The medium sauce was lacking in flavor. I also ordered the prime rib which was perfectly pink but dry like it had been sitting for a long time. Got the baked potato loaded with yellow cheese and bacon bits out of a shaker. Cheese fries cheese sauce tasted like nothing but my girlfriend liked the fries themselves. Ambiance is divey. They have pool tables and some arcade games. We played the Jurassic Park shooter which was fun. Atmosphere is a bit older crowd. We had a large party meet at Uncle Al's. This is a very nice and homey place to have a meet up. The food is terrific. I ordered the lunch special which is 6 wings plus you can add on fries if you choose. I wasn't sure whether I liked them breaded or naked. I ordered them naked and they were good but I think I prefer them bread it. Looking at my friend's breaded wings, I realized that is how I usually ordered them. I also thought my wings were dry so I asked for more medium buffalo sauce. Christine was our server and she brought it right away. She was so pleasant. The fried green beans were also very good. I don't usually order this but a couple of people at the table like them so I took a few. I ordered the housemade chips and these were excellent. I also enjoyed the fries with my wings..crispy and hot. All food that was meant to be hot was served hot. That makes a huge difference. Never order via Uber eats, and unfortunately, I will not go back to this place. Placed order, and all is fine. Restaurant calls me right away to tell me that they are out of calamari and that they can't make any changes on their end or make any substitutions. For me to cancel the order or make changes on my end. Ok... Go to Uber eats, instructions say that I can call the merchant, quote 3 sentences, and they can make changes on their end. Since the restaurant told me they couldn't and since the order was already accepted, the only option is to cancel. So, I canceled to submit the same order minus the calamari. Next thing I know, I'm being charged about 80% of the total order. I chatted with Uber eats about it, and there is nothing they could do. They called Uncle Als, and the restaurant said that the only thing they told me is that they did not have the calamari. So I guess the rest. I guess I just made it up. Since I was a kid I've been going to Uncle Al's, over 40 years, and it's still great. I'm not the type of patron that needs the owner to know me, I've never introduced myself, but his wings have remained consistent for decades, no changes that surprise you. I'm a breaded wings guy, naked is something for the bedroom in my family. I miss Rosemary, one of the waitresses that passed. I hope Uncle Al's outlasts me. Go there! read more

Came here with a large party on a Thursday night for dinner. We came around 6:30 and had no problem getting a table. The wait staff did a good job considering there was 15 of us. The food was decent. I enjoyed my bbq wings. I liked how saucy they were. The waitress wouldn't let me order 2 different sauces even though I got 20 wings. That's not typical for a wing place, I've been plenty of other places that will let you do 2 flavors for a wing order that big. My husband really didn't like his fish and chips. And the side salad I ordered was kinda sad. There was hardly any lettuce and the toppings were scarce. I did like the honey mustard though. read more

Anyone who is complaining about the wings is clearly just not ordering them right you have to get breaded wings. Somebody also said that they're very skimpy. These are the fattest wings you'll find. They are so juicy so delicious. So amazing. I could have them every single night. I mix a few sauces, like mild teriyaki and honey garlic, and it's delicious. These are the best wings around. This locals' favorite dive bar has been around for a long time and is a place known for their wings. Haven't been here in maybe over 10 years and visited this evening with 3 others. Was greeted by the bartender at the bar and told to self seat wherever. Menus were already at the table and not too long after a waitress came by, finished noting down her last order in front of us then greeted us with "drinks?". Those came out in a timely fashion & we were ready to order when she returned with them. In total we ordered 40 wings & one Philly sandwich. Waited almost an hour for the food and the only thing worth the wait was the flavor. Wings were perfectly cooked, HOT & were good sized wings ($15.99/10 piece). Who was eating the sandwich said it was nice and flavorful, we had our drinks refilled & any other items we asked for were given. They have arcade games, pool tables, booths and seating at the bar available. The place itself has no windows and is at the end of a small plaza with good amount of parking. Horrible. Got the fish and chips, extremely undercooked to the point it was transparent. Fries were soggy, tasteless and cold. I was served water to drink... Cooper City and Davie recently found bacteria in the water resulting in heavy chlorine in our tap water. Didn't stop them from serving it. And their drink fountain is also connected to it. No problem feeding us tap water knowing it's heavily bleached. I had a two year old.. sat us right next to the loudspeaker. Poor waitresses are stuck in the this dump and have to take the brunt of their horrible food and environment. Do everyone a favor and stick to being a bar and stay with your mediocre chicken wings. read more

BLAND,GREASY, BURNT, AND WORM INFESTED! Ordered the appetizer sampler and everything came burnt and the potato skins were made with synthetic cheese. The wings were very greasy, bland, and definitely not fresh.The fried mushrooms were less greasy but still flavorless. Also ordered the garlic shrimp which I wasn't impressed with but after having a few I discovered a worm inside. We notified a waitress which tried saying it was just a piece of broccoli when it was clear as day it was a worm. They substituted the shrimp for a burger. The waitress asked me how I wanted it cooked I asked medium and somehow it still came burnt with soggy fries.At this point I had lost all expectations for the food and was disgusted. I could tell the waitress which was nice at first, became annoyed with our party even though we hadn't confronted her about any of the food (knowing it wasn't her fault). She did do a great job with checking on our table, removing empty plates, and refills. Overall, I don't recommend this place and I also didn't feel very well after dining here. My family and I went there for lunch inbetween my nephews soccer games. My mom used to live in Davie and we used to come here all the time and were always treated well. Today, when we walked in, we were greeted by no one and in fact the lady who ended up being our waitress looked at us, shook her head and then rudely pointed us to the other side of the restaurant to sit. I have worked in restaurants in the past for years, my mother and sister have as well and always treat other servers with respect and tip well. So not sure if the way were were immediately judged was because my brother in law is Hispanic and my niece and nephews are half Hispanic but whatever the reason, we would never come back. The whole experience felt like we were invading the servers day and bothering her when we asked for literally anything. The only time she was even nice was when she dropped off the check. In fact she "accidentally" added 3 baskets of fries to the check, I assume to see if we would notice and because she assumed we wouldn't leave a tip. It was my nephews 10th bday, but because of how rude she was, we didn't even want to ask them if they would be kind enough to sing Happy Birthday and bring a dessert, but knew this request would only be met with annoyance by our server, just like any other request was. We planned to bring the soccer team here next weekend, but would honestly rather go to the gas station than put up with the attitude again. I guess if you are an older bar fly, you will be greeted and treated like family, but if you happen to be brown, black or have children with you, don't expect any kindness until the check is brought to the table. Also triple check what your being charged before paying the bill. In addition, we still left a 10 dollar tip on a 50 bill. I sincerely hope that will maybe give this insanely rude woman a better attitude when the next family walks in not ordering beer. Stopped in here after driving 5 hours and looking for a place that was open at 11:30pm in this area. We walked in and sat by the bar, ordered our food, and it was out in less than 10 minutes. We were over joyed, mostly because we were starving. Food was good, service was good, and it was not too busy at all. Seems like a good pool hall to grab drinks/food with friends. Unfortunately we just wanted food then bed, so we did not stick around long after finishing our food. I will say that the buffalo chicken sandwich was much better than the sliders, as the meat on the sliders was quite small compared to the buns. All in all, it was great for what we expected.
