The first time I had Naked Farmer was in Tampa and was so excited when I learned that they had a location in South FL to try. We came after a busy morning at the beach and I was craving something fresh. After a quick search on Yelp, I found Naked Farmer and was reminded that we were super close to it. It's fairly close to Sawgrass Mills mall and is in a plaza with a good amount of parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Although the outside seems small, the space inside is pretty long and has a good amount of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servining is "chipotle-style" where you order your food and customize it how you want it and pay at the register at the end. I shared a bowl with my partner and we got half rice and half greens, some toppings, and the chicken thigh. This was a good amount for us to share and it was delicious! We also tried their date cake and my partner was a huge fan of it. I must first say I love going to places that gives the feel of real food with real ingredient, so I decided to come here. The staff is very pleasant and patient. I believe it was supposed to have some type of rosemary on it. I'm not sure what's going on these days but it seems like most places are cooking chicken when it's still frozen. I tried the macaroni and cheese, which I did like and the carrots, which I also did like, both solid sides something I would get again. I was able to get the kale Caesar with my plate, which I thought was excellent. It had the right amount of dressing on it. I do plan on returning to try the salmon. I've been recommended this place many times so I've finally caved in and tried it. I got the BBQ backyard plate and it came with corn, Mac and cheese, cornbread and bbq chicken. The corn was very good but it was cold, the Mac and cheese tasted like it was premade but it still tasted good. The cornbread tasted more like a sponge cake I was indifferent to it. Last but not least the chicken was charred very well and the bbq sauce had a chipotle flavor to it. Overall I'd definitely recommend coming here and I'll be back to try other items ! read more

I wish there was a Naked Farmer location closer to me because I would be there once a week. We stopped by after shopping at Sawgrass mall because we wanted a healthy option outside the mall and I happened to find this place. All I can say is wow, I'm blown away by how fresh and good everything is here. We both got the salmon bowl, crispy skin and deliciously baked without losing moisture. The farro base is on another level and I need to try to make this at home, but know I won't come close. Great farro recipe that includes butternut squash pieces, dried cherries and walnuts, out of this world. The cornbread is extra good (I feel like it has honey drizzled on top). Sweet potatoes amazingly roasted with cinnamon for extra flavor. I ended up getting a side of the mushrooms (because typically it's a sub for protein choice) and I have never tasted mushrooms so good - I could eat a whole bucket of that. When we walked in it was a little difficult to understand how the place works, they have the menus tucked towards the entrance on the side hanging with no clear sign. This is my favorite new restaurant in the Sunrise area. All of their products are sourced from local farms located in South and Central Florida, so everything is super fresh. The restaurant has simple decor, but it is attractive, comfortable and kept very clean. I also like the fact they recycle and have clearly labeled bins for patrons to dispose of trash the proper way. They have a very creative menu that offers you the option to build your own meal: 1 base, 2 sides and 1 main item, or you can choose from one of their seasonal bowls. Everything I have tried here has been outstanding, and I find the seasoning they use on each item is different and full of flavor. Service is friendly and fast, and you can tell the place is really well managed. During our last visit, we were very well taken care of by Princess and Elijah.
