Was not impressed for the price we paid... the Mac and cheese was not even good even though I was convinced to try it by the staff. I got the brisket sandwich which is my go-to in a BBQ place. It was okay... the sauces they had (and made??) were the only things that saved it. Overall I would not come back and support another bbq joint. Also it seems like a fast food chain, that is trying to be mom and pop.. but the price caught me off guard .. would not come again for that. read more

2 things stood out about this place. The food was amazing. Everything was perfectly done. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. I saw the picture and thought that I can eat that as a side to my ribs boy was I mistaken. They were huge and fairly plentiful I was almost stuffed with them alone. But I'm not a quitter so I dove into the ribs, they were tender and flavorful and at a phenomenal price. The quality of the fish ingredients and the care put into cooking them shows. My 8 year old grandson is a picky eater and he demolished his plate and that alone is amazing to me. My wife loved her 3 meat platter and was pleased to see that they have a gluten free menu. Now for the second thing. The staff were all so sweet kind and courteous one would think that they were the owners because of the great care that they took of the establishment from the cleaning to the friendly smiles and sincere aura that they all had , I have finally found my favorite local bbq place. And as a bonus I am an Air Force veteran and will always support my brothers and sisters that served this country as well. And I love that this company aligned perfectly with that sentiment as well. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly--the Pulled chicken was tender and the pulled pork was packed with smoky flavor, as well as the sausage, green beans with bacon and Mac & cheese. Car here a while back with friends and while in the area decided to come back. A lovely restaurant with friendly and helpful folks and delicious BBQ. I will be back. My daughter had a kids meal brisket sandwich so to Mac and cheese. I had baby back ribs with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Quirky fact they play the national anthem at 12 every day and everyone gets up and pauses. It was nostalgic and a cool thing to experience. Stopped by with my daughter on our way across the state for a quick bite. The first thing that greets you are the folks behind the counter, the second is the billboard of food behind them! She has the brisket I had the pulled pork and we each tried a few of the sauces available at every table. We landed on the Smokey West Virginia sauce. I also had the green beans and bacon, they were delicious. We split some fries and they were cooked to perfection. There are booths and tables and it is a very nice place to eat. The best ribs in a Broward! Went to place a catering order for work and f coded to get some ribs for dinner - they are sooo good. Fall of the bone good. They are on the expensive side but worth every penny. The hey were so good that we went back two weeks later. The brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork are all great. This place is amazing and our favorite brisket spot in Broward. This place is super unique with its interior decor and mission to honor people who served the US. Usually, places that have a strong theming and cool decor lack in good quality. However, this is not the case with Mission! This place has delicious BBQ that is high quality, juicy and consistently great. They have six house sauces that you can pair your meal with. My favorite is lean brisket or turkey. Their sides are also great and their cornbread is my favorite in South Florida. Service is very quick and even during busiest time you'll get your food almost immediately. If you like basic level bbq this is this place for you. I may not be a connoisseur but I've had some southern bbq that would blow your mind and this just wasn't it. I got the pulled pork with a side of collard greens. It came with corn bread but the cornbread was pretty dry. I did like the flavor but it wasn't enjoyable enough for me to finish. The pulled pork was tender, but the only thing that tasted good was the fatty parts. I tried all of the sauces and didn't feel particularly about any of them. The sweet ones weren't too sweet so that's a plus, but the "spicy" ones weren't spicy at all. Very mild, even when I added the Texas Pete (which isn't spicy to me, just so you can gauge my spice level, I can handle a lot of heat). The collards were great! I'd definitely get them again, nice and vinegary. A pretty small portion though. The service was impeccable! It was my first time so the young lady at the counter explained everything to me and she came to my table after to find out how I was liking everything. She was such a sweetheart and I appreciate her hospitality! The restaurant overall was clean and seemed like a good place for family to gather for some clean bbq. But if you wanna get messy try somewhere else. I probably won't go back because the price just wasn't worth it to me, but I'd still recommend it for people who just want to dip their toe, based off the service and collards alone. read more

When we walked in I was happy to see that they are very supportive of our veterans, police and firefighters, a cause I like to support. There are six varieties at every table clearly marked as to what is inside.How much you add is entirely up to you. Everyone can pick which one they think they would like and experiment on the others. I prefer mine slightly sweet and smoky. Trying the other ones is quite fun as well. I enjoyed the smoked turkey and brisket that I ordered. I even sampled the ribs which were very tasty. I enjoyed the coleslaw because it was light on the mayo and the veggies were crunchy. The collards were ok, not my favorite veggie. I was in the area last week and decided to try Mission BBQ. To be honest, I was hesitant and not expecting much since it was a chain and I am never usually blown away by chain restaurants, especially for BBQ. This experience was different, I ordered online for pick up. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and told to wait a few minutes as they were finishing up my order. The servers behind the counter were kind and made sure I got all the parts of my order. I forgot to take a picture of my order but I ordered the kids menu, it came with ribs, and a drink and a side(beans). In addition to the sides, I ordered cornbread and mac and cheese. Everything came out to about $21 after tax. For the portions, it was not bad. The portions and pricing of the regular meal was a bit high to me and I would not be able to finish all the food offered in the regular menu combo. The interior of the restaurant is "rustic" like any other BBQ joint, pretty clean. I would go back and visit this location again. read more

I had a great experience here! While I've seen other locations, this is the first time I've tried Mission BBQ - which was a mission success!! When I mentioned I was new to the area, the cashier came around and walked me through the entire menu. The employee that handed me my meal gave me one of each sauce (my favorite ended up being the Memphis belle) & a welcome strawberry shortcake on the house. The allergy information was easy to access online, and I was so surprised by their thoroughness. They mark the sandwiches for "tree nuts" just because the buns are made in the same factory as other products (unrelated to them) that use nuts. Awesome!! The food: flavorful, juicy, and fresh. It's all obviously made in-house, and I was happy to hear that they don't freeze anything prior to preparation. That's the sort of commitment to the craft that makes it worth it to eat out sometimes. I'd definitely recommend the two or three market sampler - the jalapeño cheddar sausage, brisket, and pulled chicken were great, but I want to use the same method to try the rest of the menu soon! I was also surprised when I added a drink and two sides, only for the total to be just over $29. When split between two people, it's a fair deal! I think it's a really great model to separate the dine-in seating from the takeout line. They even have separate doors to minimize overlapping crowds and chaos. I have quickly fallen in love with this whole organization. I've visited 3 different locations throughout Florida. From the incredible quality & consistency of the food to the warm reception & service of the staff, it's really refreshing. Prices are very reasonable. The selection of meats and bbq sauces will keep you coming back. My favorite is the yard bird. It's just incredible. But what makes the most notable difference is the noon standing salute to the national anthem. It makes sense as they take pride in their country, they take pride in themselves. Amazing, amazing, AMAZING customer service. It's our first time visiting the restaurant and we were blown away by their welcoming, menu suggestion, and large side variety. Candace and Gabby were very attentive, they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Something that stood out was that we walked in at 11:59 and were told we had a wait for the National Anthem to be sung. So everyone participated and resumed their "activities" as soon as it ended.
