I had high expectations but it fell short. When I arrived, no one was there to sit. I stood in front for like 15 minutes until someone noticed me. The restaurant was half empty. Finally got to seat, server took my order. It took them a long time to bring my order. Everything was so salty. Meats were salty. The Korean cheese corn was salty and the cheese on the top was bitter. I would not return to this place.
This was our first time trying this place with a couple of friends. The food was okay overall, but the service was very good. We tried the beef soup, the dumplings appetizer, Bang shrimp, and chicken fried rice (without peas). The Bang shrimp was the standout, but everything else was just fine, not great, but okay. The restaurant itself has a really unique vibe and genuinely feels like you're in another country, which was a nice touch. I'm not sure if we'll be back, but it was a pleasant visit, and the service truly stood out.
Still thinking about our dinner here & wishing we ordered that last batch of brisket! Our server here went above & beyond. Food was delicious and it was a great atmosphere. Tier 2 was the perfect option for our group with lots of meat and appetizer options to choose from.
I enjoyed the decor since it's relatively brand new it felt nice and clean as well. The service was good, they teach you how to use the grill and brought out what we requested relatively quick. (Was a small wait for one of the items, but not a big deal). Some of the meat choices were better than others but overall they were all solid. I would check this place out again. (Keep in mind though there are some clear differences in flavors from the Korean style of grilling and the Japanese style. Just in case some people don't know. Specifically spice and stronger flavors.)
I came for the All you can eat. Food is pretty good but I wish the meats were seasoned more. My go to was the short rib which was great. I ordered fried rice and dumplings as well.
If I could give 6 stars I would! Prime K opened about 6 months ago and they truly should be out the door. Anthony was our waiter and he was so precessional and kind. The restaurant was clean and modern. I liked the way the grill in the table was set up. It was dipped lower and just felt much safer than other experiences I've had. Things you've got to think about when you have young kids. This was a date day with my husband and I'm sooo happy I found this place. This was the best we've had in a while. Everything from the quality of meat to the added sides with an explosion of flavor, to their dipping sauces were amazing. Prime K BBQ is a vibe and we're coming back for more! We learned through Anthony that the owners are there in the back almost every day making sure the quality of food is top tier. It shows. They are a little pricey, but in my opinion, worth it.
The food was amazing . The Rice, beef bulgogi, big bang shrimp were some of my favorites. Jamie the bartender was amazing, she provided exemplary customer service and kept us entertained he whole time we were there. I will definitely be back This is the type of vibe and food as well as service you expect. My first time here and it will not be my last.
Cool new Korean BBQ spot in Plantation. Hidden near Peters Road off University Drive. We were greeted by our lovely server Nat who explained the different choices on the menu. There are electric grills in the table tops where you can grill the variety of proteins. We chose the short ribs and the beef bulgogi. Nat brought out all the sides - rice, Kim chi, potato salad, and salad. It was so good! Can't wait to go back and try different items. Excellent service.
Delicious Korean BBQ! My husband and I went this past Wednesday to celebrate 15 years of marriage. I booked reservations that Sunday and on Monday the manager called me to see how he can make sure to make it special. We had great service and opted for the all you can eat and Sapporo's. Highly recommend the all you can eat as it offered a really great variety. My favorite was the short rib and the tiger shrimp. Great experience and beautiful space. Great for special occasions and big groups. They even got us a greeting card! Highly recommend.
Food was excellent! I really like the beef bulgogi it was spectacular. The service was as well very good. Serving us water often and making sure everything was ok. The restaurant is nice and clean. With cool Asian decorations. They play K-Pop music in the speakers and have both seating. Overall extremely good!
I had been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime and finally went on a Thursday night. It is a pretty big restaurant, and it was not very busy, but that could possibly be because it was raining outside. We were immediately taken to one of the hibachi tables, and given menus. One side of the menu featured just drinks and they do have a full liquor bar. We started looking over the menus that our server, Jojo brought us. Even though there were four in our party, one person does not eat carbs and another one eats a very small amount. We decided to get the. "Holy Cow Combo," which is match for two people and priced at $109. It comes with brisket, short rib, and beef Bulgogi. It was a lot of food and we had two little sets of tongs so that we could cook the meat. JoJo suggested we cook the brisket first. It was just OK, thin slices of beef (think Steak-Ums.). There were enough pieces for the four of us to each have several. There were also different sauces we could use for dipping. Next we tried the short rib. It was more flavorful, but a little bit chewy again another huge portion. On JoJo's recommendation we cooked the beef Bulgogi last. It was everybody's favorite; full of flavor and pieces that you could eat easily. A small salad with ginger dressing, accompanied our combo and there was enough of it for each of us to have a small bowl full. It was also quite good. We also got two full bowls of rice to share, and two bowls were enough for the three of us that were eating rice. The combo also came with one side and we got the potato wedge fries. This was another huge portion and quite delicious. The fries had a bacon mustard coating that was very unique. The combo also came with some tiny sides of pickled radish, eggplant, cucumber salad, and homemade baked potato salad. None of those really appealed to me .....bedsides we had an abundance of other delicious things to try. Since we only had a combo that was made for two people, we tried several of the appetizers. We had the pork dumplings,$15, edamame, $8, and Brussel sprouts, $10. The dumplings were wonderful! There were 6, even though we were told there'd be 5. They were just a little crispy on the outside and packed with filling. The Brussel Sprouts were amazing! They were covered with a crispy glaze and had bacon bits. The edamame was good as well, and all the sides were very large portions. There was so much food! Our server, Jojo, was sweet and knowledgeable. She was running all over the place and she always had a smile on her face. I really enjoyed my dinner at Prime K BBQ and will definitely be back again. It would especially be a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
First time in a Korean BBQ and it was amazing. We did the All You Can Eat. If you are not familiar with rules for these types of locations it is YOUR responsibility as the consumer to read up. Danielle was great and educated us as well, but some other locations might not. All at the table have to have the same AYCE tier. We chose tier 2 which included the Prime K steak and the Shrimp, but tier 1 also has the beef and chicken also so their are options for meat lovers. Everything was amazing from the service to the food. Only drawback was they ran out of Corn Cheese at 630pm which sucked, but it would not deter me from going back. Also as I read the rules beforehand and it is posted at walknin GRATUITY is included, but the server works hard and deserves it in this capacity as they are shoveling food refills to you back and forth. For our night Monday evening they were busy and there were only 2 servers. Danielle and the other waitress (bartender) did amazing teaming and helping like a well oiled machine. The environment was very homie as they had repeat customers show up as well as newcomers. Very clean
This place just opened up near my work and I was super excited because I love Korean barbecue we walked in. It's not that busy. It's very much a big place we sat down right away. The waiter was very nice and very helpful. We already knew what we wanted to get and I have to tell you all the sides were great. The salad was fresh seasoning was perfect and the kimchi stew was very good but the Gyoza was probably the best choice have had We definitely ordered way too much food. We could've just ordered one portion of the meat and it probably would've filled us up easily. I will definitely try this place again
I didn't take new photos this time but it was a year ago since I last been. Although it felt a little different. The food quality and flavor did not suffer!!! Got the à la cart. Spicy pork belly, la short rib, and ribeye bilgogi. Ended with lots of leftovers and a full belly. This was more than enough food for two people!! So good Laney was our server and she was amazing!!! So helpful and just 10/10. Please visit this place if you like GOOD QUALITY Korean bbq. Show them love!! read more

This is a new Korean bbq in my area. When you walk in, the place is huge with a very nice bar and lots of seating. They have the bbq tables and ones that are not. We chose to sit at one of the bbq tables. It was different than other Korean bbq places in that the table didn't actually have the flame right in front of you. It had a hot mini hibachi like area in the middle of the table. They have a nice menu of drinks. The food menu seemed limited. We decided on beef bulgogi and short rib for our main meals. The beef bulgogi was ok. It could've used more seasoning. The short rib was very fatty and tough. We ended up sending it back and got short rib on the bone. It was much better. We also tried the fried dumpling. It was tasty and worth getting. They served the food with an array of sauces and accompaniments. The service was impeccable! If you've never tried Korean bbq, this place is worth a try. read more

Outstanding service who are willing to explain the dishes, spices and recommendations. if you value outstanding service and abundant food, and possess a palate that appreciates a wide range of Korean cuisine, Prime K could be an excellent choice. Hands down one of the best K-BBQ spots I've ever been to! From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and attentive. The side dishes (banchan) were on point--plenty of variety and all refillable. I especially loved the cucumber and house made salad. We also appreciated how well-ventilated the place was; you don't walk out smelling like smoke. We have to come back and try the Korean bbq! We only had appetizers and entree. read more
I did forget to take pictures of the each dish, but regardless, the spot was a hit for me. I've driven in this complex many times over the last several years and had never seen a Korean bbq spot, so when I drove by this time, I was pleasantly surprised. The exterior looks high end and the inside looked like a typical kbbq spot - clean, organized, and a mouth watering smell. Our server Antonio was on top of it and while he didn't make much small talk, he was very pleasant and took care of us wonderfully. We started with jumbo shrimp and edamame for appetizers and then followed up with LA galbi (my favorite) and prime ribeye (my husband's fave). They came with all the typical banchan (Korean side dishes) and we were to cook them on the grill in front of this. I love this concept and have fine tuned my Korean barbecue skills over the years. The portions were so large that I was able to take one whole serving of galbi home for dinner the next day! We also order chicken fried rice which was flawless. Topped off the meal with an order of vanilla cookie dough mochi. It's a bite size amount of ice cream enveloped in a chewy little sleeve of rice dough is the best way I can explain it. This dish has been a favorite of mine ever since I discovered it. We also met the manager whose name I've now forgotten, but he was jovial and friendly and genuinely cared about our experience. I immediately recommended this location to my brother in law who also loves K bbq. read more

Prime K BBQ offered attentive and quick service, our waiter came around often and was informative about the menu options. This type of cuisine is always catered to the customer as we cook it ourselves. The meats weren't cut which they provided scissors for but created a bit of a hassle. All the sides and appetizers were delicious, plenty of options to choose from. If you are seeking a comfortable and filling meal experience come to this location. read more

First timers at Prime K BBQ and we had the Fried Dumplings. (plenty of stuffing and not over fried), Marinated Short Rib (nice size portion, and Chicken Fried Rice (a little oily). Fredy (our server) was very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable, nice music (not too loud). read more
