My husband has a very sensitive stomach, so he's usually the reason I can't go out for KBBQ as often as I'd like -- but surprisingly his stomach did really well here! So now I'm thinking this might become a more regular spot for us lol. I also love that it's not overly busy and the staff will actually cook the food for you if you want. The restaurant offers à la cart menu as well as kbbq where you get to grill your own meat. We have been there several times because it is so close by where we live. The hospitality is nice and the servers are always so friendly and welcoming. But for our experiences, the food quality, consistency, and the flavor was just not there. First time in a Korean BBQ and it was amazing. We did the All You Can Eat. If you are not familiar with rules for these types of locations it is YOUR responsibility as the consumer to read up. Danielle was great and educated us as well, but some other locations might not. All at the table have to have the same AYCE tier. We chose tier 2 which included the Prime K steak and the Shrimp, but tier 1 also has the beef and chicken also so their are options for meat lovers. Everything was amazing from the service to the food. Only drawback was they ran out of Corn Cheese at 630pm which sucked, but it would not deter me from going back. Also as I read the rules beforehand and it is posted at walknin GRATUITY is included, but the server works hard and deserves it in this capacity as they are shoveling food refills to you back and forth. If I could give 6 stars I would! Prime K opened about 6 months ago and they truly should be out the door. Anthony was our waiter and he was so precessional and kind. The restaurant was clean and modern. I liked the way the grill in the table was set up. It was dipped lower and just felt much safer than other experiences I've had. Things you've got to think about when you have young kids. This was a date day with my husband and I'm sooo happy I found this place. This was the best we've had in a while. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime and finally went on a Thursday night. It is a pretty big restaurant, and it was not very busy, but that could possibly be because it was raining outside. We were immediately taken to one of the hibachi tables, and given menus. One side of the menu featured just drinks and they do have a full liquor bar. We started looking over the menus that our server, Jojo brought us. Even though there were four in our party, one person does not eat carbs and another one eats a very small amount. We decided to get the. "Holy Cow Combo," which is match for two people and priced at $109. It comes with brisket, short rib, and beef Bulgogi. It was a lot of food and we had two little sets of tongs so that we could cook the meat. JoJo suggested we cook the brisket first. It was just OK, thin slices of beef (think Steak-Ums.). There were enough pieces for the four of us to each have several. There were also different sauces we could use for dipping. Next we tried the short rib. It was more flavorful, but a little bit chewy again another huge portion. On JoJo's recommendation we cooked the beef Bulgogi last. It was everybody's favorite; full of flavor and pieces that you could eat easily. A small salad with ginger dressing, accompanied our combo and there was enough of it for each of us to have a small bowl full. It was also quite good. We also got two full bowls of rice to share, and two bowls were enough for the three of us that were eating rice. The combo also came with one side and we got the potato wedge fries. This was another huge portion and quite delicious. The fries had a bacon mustard coating that was very unique. The combo also came with some tiny sides of pickled radish, eggplant, cucumber salad, and homemade baked potato salad. None of those really appealed to me .....bedsides we had an abundance of other delicious things to try. Since we only had a combo that was made for two people, we tried several of the appetizers. We had the pork dumplings,$15, edamame, $8, and Brussel sprouts, $10. The dumplings were wonderful! There were 6, even though we were told there'd be 5. They were just a little crispy on the outside and packed with filling. The Brussel Sprouts were amazing! They were covered with a crispy glaze and had bacon bits. The edamame was good as well, and all the sides were very large portions. There was so much food! Our server, Jojo, was sweet and knowledgeable. She was running all over the place and she always had a smile on her face. I really enjoyed my dinner at Prime K BBQ and will definitely be back again. I was so excited when I found out this Korean bbq spot opened up by my house. It's a little pricey compared to some other spots, but I think it's totally worth it ! The bang bang shrimp appetizer was good- I liked how crispy and uniform the breading. I also liked that the shrimp was a butterfly cut so the ratio of crisp to shrimp was good. Me and my date did the a la carte for the meats. You get unlimited salads ( pickled cucumber, potato salad, pickled ginger, mushrooms, etc). Each meat also comes with a side of rice. The portion is good for one person. For the meats (been 2 times), I have had the bulgogi beef, spicy pork bulgogi, pork belly, and the marinated short rib. They were all delicious. The bulgogi is soooo good. So much flavor. I preferred those and the marinated short rib because they are already seasoned. The pork belly comes plain so you need to season it when you cook it, which is no problem because they come with salt, pepper, and sauces and dips to use too. The pork belly was a good cut so there was a nice balance of fat to meat- it got nice and crispy while cooking. For drinks, I've had the Bruce lychee. It's pretty and is colored from the hibiscus. However, I enjoyed the Soju the most. Mango and lychee have been my favorite. The strawberry tasted artificial. The service was phenomenal each time! Delicious Korean BBQ! My husband and I went this past Wednesday to celebrate 15 years of marriage. I booked reservations that Sunday and on Monday the manager called me to see how he can make sure to make it special. We had great service and opted for the all you can eat and Sapporo's. This is a new Korean bbq in my area. When you walk in, the place is huge with a very nice bar and lots of seating. They have the bbq tables and ones that are not. We chose to sit at one of the bbq tables. It was different than other Korean bbq places in that the table didn't actually have the flame right in front of you. It had a hot mini hibachi like area in the middle of the table. They have a nice menu of drinks. The food menu seemed limited. We decided on beef bulgogi and short rib for our main meals. The beef bulgogi was ok. It could've used more seasoning. The short rib was very fatty and tough. We ended up sending it back and got short rib on the bone. It was much better. We also tried the fried dumpling. It was tasty and worth getting. They served the food with an array of sauces and accompaniments. The service was impeccable! I did forget to take pictures of the each dish, but regardless, the spot was a hit for me. I've driven in this complex many times over the last several years and had never seen a Korean bbq spot, so when I drove by this time, I was pleasantly surprised. The exterior looks high end and the inside looked like a typical kbbq spot - clean, organized, and a mouth watering smell. Our server Antonio was on top of it and while he didn't make much small talk, he was very pleasant and took care of us wonderfully. We started with jumbo shrimp and edamame for appetizers and then followed up with LA galbi (my favorite) and prime ribeye (my husband's fave). They came with all the typical banchan (Korean side dishes) and we were to cook them on the grill in front of this. I love this concept and have fine tuned my Korean barbecue skills over the years. The portions were so large that I was able to take one whole serving of galbi home for dinner the next day! We also order chicken fried rice which was flawless. Topped off the meal with an order of vanilla cookie dough mochi. It's a bite size amount of ice cream enveloped in a chewy little sleeve of rice dough is the best way I can explain it. This dish has been a favorite of mine ever since I discovered it. We also met the manager whose name I've now forgotten, but he was jovial and friendly and genuinely cared about our experience.
