Wings!!! A must! Unfortunately I do not remember our server name but she is outstanding!

After a long stressful day, Pho Bar was exactly what we all needed. Ambiance: thoughtfully decorated with a vibe that invites anyone and everyone. It is giving EVERYTHING... This is our first time eating Pho anywhere, asked to see the menu to see if we wanted to try it out, and the server said "have a seat..." As if there was no question, and really, he was 100% There was literally something on the menu for everyone: steak and eggs, kids menu, curry... So many options! Even our picky eater was enticed. When our food arrived every plate looked delicious, and they were!! Our 8 year old said it was "really good" which almost never happens. Service... Just amazing. It was a chance find when I was in that area and looking for lunch options. The food, decor, service - everything was amazing. They paid attention to every little detail but still kept this super affordable. A real hole in the wall place. I had grilled chicken noodles. The chicken was really tender and the pairing of freshly cut veggies not added volume but a nice crunch as well. For $16 I wasn't expecting much but I was super surprised at how big the portions were. The sauce that came with it was gentle but tasty. I went past 1pm on a Saturday and the place was packed. Understandably. This place is loved by locals. I felt the music a bit too loud but if you go on a slow day, maybe it has the potential for being a date night spot as well. The bar area was really nicely arranged. The colors were bright and the arrangement ensured maximum seating capacity. The mentioned clearly in advance that an 18% gratuity is automatically added and they also highlighted it again when the check came. This showed a complete transparency in their policy and avoided double tipping. They put a small step on the bathroom door so you don't have to touch the handle while leaving the room. How convenient. The manager, Mr Jesus, came to check on me and I had a chance to know a little bit more about the restaurant from him. I was craving pho and this was the closest spot, so I decided to check it out! You HAVE TO order the banh beo (steamed rice cakes). They were delicious, topped with a generous mix of savory ingredients. Definitely the highlight of the meal. I wanted something spicy, so I ordered the bun bo hue. It was just okay. The broth tasted a bit bland and didn't have the spicy flavor you usually expect. It also came with pig's feet, which felt unusual and wasn't really my preference. They do have plenty of hot sauce and chili oil on the table if you want to add more heat to the broth. The Vietnamese iced coffee was overly sweet and heavier than expected. Overall, it was OK. An 18% gratuity is automatically included in the bill, and the prices felt a bit high for what it was. read more

Wow, the best pho place and the best desserts. We came on Monday, a very cold day in Florida, for lunch. It was pretty busy, but we got fast service. The pho was very delicious and well balanced; I got the flank and brisket pho. When we got to the dessert part, I knew they would be good because the owner makes them from fresh ingredients. Such a yummy place!! And so much more than pho. Parking is tight and limited but there's also a garage around the side if you can't find any in front. Our server was so sweet, my friend went to the wrong location and she was so patient letting me hang at the table without ordering for an extra 20 min waiting for her to arrive. We tried the mussels and the grilled squid appetizers, both were so good! And i had the taro milk tea with the crystal boba. I also had to do the pho, the egg round and brisket per her recommendation and it was soo good. Even the small was gigantic. I took more than half home and made a great 2nd meal out of it. Have happy hour'd a couple times here and it's a solid experience. The interior is beautifully appointed. The service was great the first and second time but the 3rd seemed less genuine. They do include auto gratuity, I find it makes service hit or miss. Happy hour bites are $7 as well as a couple cocktails like the lychee martini. There is a cocktail special for $9 that rotates. Select Beers and wines are a bit less. I've had a few different bites and cocktails. The drinks never miss, the food is up and down to me. Bahn mi is a full size sandwich and quite fresh. All the ingredients are great quality and fresh overall. I would like to try another location in the future and tho pho which is quite an investment. read more

I came here on a Wednesday night foaming at the mouth for some Pho. I usually go to one spot but when I tell you this place did NOT disappoint. Wow. First of all it is a really trendy space, we did sit outside during our visit and it was comfy enough for our party of 6. Our server was so lovely. She was attentive, funny, and knowledgeable about the menu. She even helped us package our food at the end of our night. I usually am the worst when it comes to speaking about costs. I say this because I'm a foodie I'll pay whatever for good food and experience. This was def one of them ! I would say the only thing I didn't care for too much in all that I ordered were the coconut mussels. The "sauce" was great but I felt like it didn't adhere well to them. Regardless I still ate them. I had a fav which was the rare eye round and brisket pho with house noodles ( these are a dream). I had the pandan layer cake and ube mousse cake which was a hit at the table. I also got to try the pandan/soy milk drink. This was fire, just my type of light drink I didn't get pics of the entrees because like I said earlier I was foaming at the mouth so I inhaled my pho. Came here on a chilly S.Fl day and my husband was craving Pho. This place was packed but we got lucky and found a spot at the bar. Started with the spring rolls- for me quite bland but the sauce with it helped perk up the flavor. Both of us enjoyed our Pho. We both got it with the beef broth and thinner noodle. Funky spot in a bright plaza in Davie. it's cozy with side and out with ample seating. We sat outside as the weather was beautiful. spoiler alert - every day there is a HappyHour from 3-6p. our server was prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. we had two big bowls of pho but my fave thing to do is sample multiple appetizers soooo... an order of their wings, two orders of spring rolls, extra vermicelli, sticky ribs, and pigs feet in broth - all fantastic! Had family in from out of town and we were looking for something vegan. My daughter had suggested pho and we found this place and it looked promising. We called and sure enough they do vegan! The place is pleasant inside, but we opted to dine on the outside. It was nicely decorated and there were condiments and chopsticks at the table. We only saw a couple of items on the menu that were vegan, but the waitress came by and told us that many other items could be made vegan. That's a win! And so we ordered some pho, a crepe with mushrooms, some spring rolls, and a banh mi. And everything was really, really good. The pho was huge and we had to take at least half home. They offer lime, mint, culantro, and bean sprouts on the side to add to the dish. It was really nice. Totally will go back. One odd detail: parking is weird. You need to park in the garage behind the restaurant. It took us a minute to figure out that levels 1&2 are for patrons of the restaurants. read more

I visited this restaurant two Sundays in a row. Both times the service was great. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the first server, however, my second server's name was Aaron. What a friendly and attentive young man. My daughter ordered the popcorn chicken. It was a huge serving and it was seasoned deliciously. I ordered the fruit tea. I absolutely adore iced tea. The added fruit reminded me of a mocktail sangria, very refreshing. The first time I ordered the chicken and rice. The second time I ordered the chicken and noodles. I enjoyed the chicken and noodles more than the chicken and rice because the noodles are seasoned with peanuts. Both delicious, but the latter won the contest. It's a very busy restaurant yet. I've never had to wait. They have plenty of seating indoors and outdoors as well as at the bar. I will warn you if you're sensitive to fragrance do not go into the restroom. They use some kind of air freshener that's nauseating. Also, they automatically add 18% gratuity. Our first server didn't bother to mention it and we ended up tipping double. I really appreciated Aaron's integrity because he gave us our check and said there's no need to tip. Your tip was already included. What an honest and thoughtful server. Located in Davie under an apartment building on Griffin and Davie Rd, this Vietnamese restaurant is consistently tasty. I've been a few times but guess I haven't written a review yet. Service is usually pretty good while the food and drinks are the stars. You can't go wrong with any of the pho options (duh, it's in their name) but don't miss out on the other traditional dishes offered. On our last visit we tried the steamed rice cakes which were a different experience. They were tasty but probably not my texture style. All the bar drinks I've tried have been delish with their super clever names. I still haven't made it for Happy Hour but have heard from many, it's a great spot and deal. First time visiting and I can't wait to come back! Everything was absolutely on point. Stephanie was our server and she was amazing--super attentive and very knowledgeable. She told us all about happy hour and the guest favorites, which made ordering easy. We ordered the Wagyu pho and wow--the broth was incredibly flavorful. A small group of us went here because we were looking for a good restaurant that was next to our destination on Tuesday evening. The only thing that we didn't like was the parking situation. If you cannot find spaces in front of the restaurant (and they are limited), I believe you are supposed to park in the garage. However, it says you must register, and the app wasn't working, so luckily we were able to find a space in front, the second time driving around. The place has a sleek, modern atmosphere, and we were right away greeted by our server. He was very attentive without being interrupting and was also very friendly. We ordered some pho soup and an appetizer of egg rolls. We told him, we were in a rush, and our food came out really quick. I just ate the egg rolls and I found them tasty and filling. We have been here many times as it's a great meeting point with friends/family who live in the opposite direction. Even though we have to deal with 95 to get there, and it's not in the most scenic of neighborhoods, the restaurant itself is attractive and vibrant and the food is great. The Happy Hour is 7 days a week with plenty of choices for food and drink. The vibe is so different from the more traditional Asian restaurants - uplifting maybe? I hadn't been here in over a year, but I stopped by on Saturday during happy hour (3-6 pm) and had a great time. We were seated quickly, and the place has such a cute vibe, perfect for photos. It was lively and busy, but still with plenty of seating. Our server, Jonathan, was friendly and attentive. I tried their new Lychee Coco Mojito which i enjoyed. Along with the Passionfruit Margarita. Both hit the spot. For food, I ordered Honey Garlic wings and Tamarind wings (all flats, fried well done just the way I like). The Honey Garlic flavor could've been a touch sweeter, but overall they were crispy and good The fries were fresh and tasty too. I also tried the Bahn Mi sandwich which was very fresh but a little on the salty side. It tasted like teriyaki sauce was on it, which is normally salty in my opinion. For appetizers the wings with honey garlic were phenomenal. Don't skip out on the spring rolls, they taste so fresh and the peanut dipping sauce was great. The steam rice cake were different but had a unique and delicious flavor with gelatin like texture. Oh and the crispy Brussels sprouts were so yummy with pieces of peanut and honey fish sauce. The crispy snapper was fried to perfection. So juicy and lots of meat in it. The short rib pho is another must have. It just warms up your soul. The waiter we had was very friendly and guided us through the menu with his recommendations. The restaurant is very big with lots of table to accommodate the big crowds. This was the perfect place to get food from on a rainy night paired with love island. Every dish we got was great. Brussels sprouts: one of my favorite veggies to order especially when I see a sweet sauce. These were delicious and still somehow crispy. Coconut mussels: these were delicious. The mussels don't soak up the sauce very well. Beef pho: yummy! It comes with a lot of toppings. I think it was only lacking a bit in the broth flavor. It was a lot more fatty than I would have liked. Spring rolls: these were yummy but I do wish there was more shrimp. With $9 for two, you would hope that you get more than 3 shrimp. read more

After 4 1/2 months, my husband and I went back today for Happy Hour because I was craving a passion fruit margarita and tamarind chicken wings. The restaurant exuded its usual trendy, cool vibe. And, the server immediately told us that there would be a 18% gratuity added to the check (nice to be upfront right away). Among the $7 specials we got the margarita, the wings, an order of spring rolls, and a pork banh mi. Not on the Happy Hour list (where you save about $2 per item), was a flank and tendon pho that my hubby ordered. He also got a passion fruit smoothie. Most were as good as expected. The pho broth here is wonderful and so are the homemade noodles. Too bad the soup is still being served lukewarm, diminishing its goodness. We have eaten pho in many, many places---including Vietnam---and while we don't expect it to be boiling hot, it needs to be hotter. Stay away from the banh mi. The bread is dry and scratched my gums. There is barely any filling in the sandwich (did not find the pate), with the meat and the veggies being very skimpy. We were being little piggies and got a second order of tamarind wings and the pandan crepe cake, which was light, not sweet, and deliciously divine. Our bill was $84 for two. So not cheap. But worth it (except for the banh mi). We eyed a fried snapper on someone's table on the way out and tried not to drool. Bartender Eric saw us and gave us a take-out menu and advised us to order it the minute we walked in the next time we came back, because it takes 16 minutes to cook. Not sure if we are gonna splurge on a $40 fish meal. But we definitely will be back for more tamarind chicken wings and pandan cake. read more

Best pho ever! Hubby and I are literally here every 1-2x per month because this place is just that good. Located at University Pointe Davie apartments on the first floor. Although parking can be a bit challenging on busy nights, it doesn't stop us from coming here. Pho Bar pho is quite phenomenal. They make their own noodles in house and their 24 hour broth is just chef kiss. They have over 9 different options for their pho and even customizable options as well. Hubby go to is always their BBH and mine is the classic brisket and tripe pho. They have happy hour everyday from 3-6pm with discounted menu items. We started with drinks--the spicy passionfruit margaritas were so good, and the lychee martini was light and refreshing. We also found out they offer a happy hour with drink specials and small bites, which makes this spot even better. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated--every inch is Insta-worthy, with fun captions throughout (phrases like "send noods" add a playful touch). We ordered the Obama & Bourdain platter, and it was excellent. The meatballs were soaked in nuoc mam sauce with pickled daikon and carrots, and the grilled pork slices were full of smoky flavor. The platter came with fresh herbs, lettuce, and vermicelli so you can eat it like a lettuce wrap--fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. The pho was also good as usual. We ask for fresh noodles and it makes a big difference. The menu has so much variety that makes you want to try it all. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back again. I wanted to share a concern from my recent visit. I was served water in a chipped glass, which unfortunately resulted in me cutting my lip. I brought this to the manager's attention; however, the concern was not acknowledged by Sergio Torres at the time, which was disappointing given the nature of the issue. What stood out most is that this is the second time I've experienced a similar situation at this location. While I understand that things can happen, repeated occurrences suggest there may be an opportunity to strengthen quality checks. Customer safety should always be a priority. I wish I could give this place 10 stars although I still haven't tried their pho I ordered the summer rolls which are the same rice noodles that go into the pho soup. I got em order or shrimp and chicken and it was absolutely delicious. They make their own authentic peanut sauce to dip it in and this was delicious I can't wait to go back tomorrow. I ordered pick up through yelp and my food was ready among arrival and the restaurant was clean, busy and the service was fast.
