Came here for the first time to their new location and it is so nice! Very spacious compared to the prior spot. Food was good like last time. Love that I got extra crazy. I ordered in advance and right when I got there, the food was already ready.

Okay !! So when you walk in very spacious. You can also smell the food when you walk in. ( some places these days you can't) So to smell the food is amazing! The staff is friendly. I was greeted on the way in. Here pictured is the honey garlic salmon with rice and peas and Mac and cheese!! So let's get to it!!! Yallllll know that salmon is smacking!! The glaze, the perfect portion the flavor! Tastes fresh. ( my stomach can't handle reheated salmon) I love to try people's Mac and cheese. Usually Jamaican spots don't do it correctly. I got a great piece. We got a little crisp on ours! Yaassss though and through it was good. Seasoned and creamy!! Delicious. The rice and peas... we enjoyed it. I'm bringing my children back so they can get their own plates!!

The food is amazing! I got the Lemon pepper wings with a side of Jerk Chicken. I subbed the fries for rice and peas. They added oxtail gravy to the rice, added bonus! Also the food is extremely tasty. You can taste every flavor in each bite. The lemon pepper wings are dry rubbed, but this saucy variation was not to Joy tastebuds. It's almost as if you can eat the rice by itself. It is nice and flavorful. I'm super happy to have visited the new location in Davie. The place is huge and I plan on visiting with my team. They seem spacious enough for dinner parties. The food is worth every dime, and I love the teams camaraderie. I love the openness where you can see what the chefs are doing in the back. The front of house staff is extremely busy, but be patient, this a busy establishment. Cheers to great food. Congrats to the new CRK location.

10 out of 10! Small Jamaican restaurant that didn't disappoint! Food was good! Good portion size too! Small venue, with only 4 tables or so inside, so most people seemed to order takeout.

The first time we ordered everything was so good. Goat Curry for the other two and fried chicken. I was disappointed they did not offer brown chicken stew which I've always gotten from other places. Today goat curry, jerk salmon and again I had to order fried chicken. Goat and salmon were good. Chicken was so crumbly, more like gram cracker crust and the flavor was off. Cole slaw - which was so good the first time was soggy and not good. We also ordered bread pudding. It would have been good if it wasn't so dry.

I have been meaning to try some food from here and was finally able to. I ordered the jerk chicken pasta. The chicken was tender and not overcooked. The pasta was al dente. I do wish it had more of the pasta sauce. It took some mixing to get the bit of sauce at the bottom. I also wish I had Parmesan cheese on top. If there was any added I could barely tell. The jerk sauce on top of the chicken was sweet and savory but I was hoping for a spicy kick. With all this being said the meal as a whole was good. I am definitely interested in trying more dishes like the oxtail.

I have seen reviews of the food of this place so I had to come try it out while I was close by. I was attended by the staff in the front, she told me it was a 10 minute wait but it was ready in 5. The waiting area is nice, vibrant and clean. I ordered my food to go, still piping hot after driving home. The flavor was good, well seasoned and nice spice level. Overall I will definitely come back again!

My husband and I are Jamaican and went to try Chef Reece Kitchen since it's the most convenient location for us. We had high hopes and were satisfied with our meals. The portions were generous. Our family of 4 were able to have lunch and still enough leftovers for dinner as well. Katana was friendly and helped answer our questions about the menu and pairings. The restaurant was clean, bright and had seating both inside and outside. There was a dish of hard candy on the counter which was reminiscent of my grandmother's home. There was a 15-20 minute wait for the order, so next time we will probably call ahead and pick up. It was nice knowing that our food was being prepared fresh to order versus other nearby Jamaican restaurants which almost offer buffet style service. I enjoyed one of their bottles of natural juice while we waited. The mango passion juice was sweet and refreshing and felt like I was back home drinking fresh fruit juice. My husband enjoyed his oxtail with rice and peas. The gravy was rich and flavorful. My kids enjoyed the baked macaroni and cheese. It was cheesy and had a good texture- not soft or mushy, but also not crunchy (they don't usually like baked pastas). The fried chicken was juicy on the inside and had a crunchy skin/crust. The jerk chicken was not spicy, so not what I'm used to, but also good for us since it was also something our kids could enjoy. The chicken was juicy which was nice because many places tend to dry out the meat when trying to impart the charred flavor. Next time, I will try it without the gravy to see if it makes a difference. The jerk BBQ wings were crunchy even with the sauce on it. The Cajun fries were crispy and well seasoned, but not spicy so my kids enjoyed them. The steamed cabbage was tender but had some bite to it - which was perfect because after being reheated for dinner it still was not overcooked. We will be back!

    Honey Garlic Salmon Pasta

I came in with really high expectations because I saw people on social media rave about how good the food was and I'm sad to say that I was disappointed. I ordered the honey garlic salmon pasta and the salmon was pretty good. It tasted kind of lemony but it was well seasoned and flavorful, and that was the only part of the meal that really had any taste. The pasta itself was pretty bland, it wasn't necessarily bad but it wasn't that good either. It filled me up but it's not something I would look forward to getting again. It wasn't too busy when I came in and my food came out in less than 20 minutes. The cashier was quick and friendly. Inside of the establishment there's nothing to look at except the cashier and the menu and there's limited seating.

I am a restaurant guy. I owned restaurants for 20 something years. The food is amazing. The salmon was probably the best I've ever had. I am definitely a fan and I will be back.

After hearing great things, I finally visited Chef Reecee Kitchen, a popular spot for Jamaican cuisine. The restaurant was clean, has a bright and welcoming atmosphere, which complements its friendly customer service. Their menu offers Jamaican staples like oxtail, jerk chicken, fish, pasta, and wings, along with reasonable lunch specials. I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas, mac & cheese, and a Mango Passion natural juice. Here's my breakdown: *Rice and peas: Flavorful and well-cooked. Mac & cheese: Creamy, seasoned, and delicious--a pleasant surprise since many restaurants miss the mark here. Oxtail: While the flavor was spot-on, the meat wasn't as tender as I hoped, more on the harder side. Unfortunately, it was the same for my friend, so it might have been an off day. They portion however was good. The Mango Passion natural juice was refreshing and paired well with the meal. While I found the oxtail slightly pricey at $25.99, the overall experience was good. Since it's a 40-minute drive for me, I might not go out of my way to return but would definitely recommend it if you're in the area to try it for yourself or something else.

Had the jerk chicken lunch special with rice and veggies--so delicious and full of flavor. Chef Reese's customer service is top-notch and the food never disappoints. I wish I lived closer for delivery, but it's always worth the drive. Highly recommend!

Panguich is an excellent representation of a modern day Peruvian sandwich shop (with other Peruvian food as well). What I love about these guys in particular: they are local and family owned, they consistently ask for feedback, and they improve the menu and food quality regularly. It's clear they really care about proudly representing one of the best cuisines in the world (if you know, you know). And it's not just a sandwich shop. They also serve many of the standard Peruvian comfort dishes; lomo saltado, the bowls, legit pollo a la brasa, and a very tasty (and spicy) rocoto sauce that I legit put on everything. One note on the pollo a la brasa: if you have never had Peruvian pollo a la brasa, you are truly missing out on one of the best things the world has to offer; and Panguich actually does a better job than some places we have tried in Lima. The chicharrón sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries, red onions, and rocoto is no joke. The tamales are also legit. Pro tip: if you like the chicharrón sandwich and also want a tamal, check out the Lurín breakfast. It has everything you need, including the bread to make the sandwich, plus a tamal and café con leche. Perfect for a Saturday morning breakfast that can be shared if you grab an extra roll.
