Going to Laspada's was super nostalgic for me. My mom used to bring me here when she was working in Davie. This was our spot! And it was just as I remembered it. As soon as you walk in, it feels homie; you're welcomed by smiles and staff ready to serve. Very casual environment, with tables inside and a couple outside. Great place to stop for lunch or grab a quick bite. All the classic meats are available, with options for combining them. Hoagies come with all the fixins and in 8" or 12". The meat is freshly sliced right in front of you, and sometimes even tossed down the line to hook up somebody else's sandwich. And talk about a packed hoagie?? Loads of meat and all the fixins you want! Definitely worth the $10 do that small. I was so eager to eat mine, I forgot to take a pic, but once again, that turkey hoagie was just like I remembered it! I will definitely make sure not as much time passes the next time I stop by.

Laspada's is great ingredients assembled with professional, enthusiastic flair. When you go in person, you might get to experience the sensation of watching your meat get tossed through the air in an impressive display of aerial teamwork. You can also order online. Their website is well organized and detailed with every meat, topping, sauce and spices you can imagine. You can even choose to have your sandwich cut in 1/2, 1/3 or even 1/4. With several locations in South Florida, you can find a Laspada's close enough to be worth the drive.

So I will start by saying the only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because the hoagies are that good! I am not a fan of roast beef or other meats miss together l, but decided to give it a try and I was impressed. It tastes very fresh with the other deli meat in the hoagie. The hoagie was fresh and everything is prepared in front of you. We got the small hoagie and we were able to share, but I wish we would have gotten the bigger size because it was really good. However, I was not a fan of the sodas they have. The flavors were not tasty for me. I also didn't like they charge $4 for one cookie alone. The cookie is good though, so if you're willing to overlook the produce you will enjoy it. The staff was not the friendliest as they looked annoyed when we asked to put some of the condiments on the side and while we were debating what cookie to get. The lady seemed annoyed we were taking long. The floor was not clean. There were piles of breadcrumbs and food in three separate places. Despite these issues, I will say this is probably one of best places to eat in Davie.

Cool sandwich place. Freshly cut on the spot deli meat for the sandwich. The portion size is a good amount. The staff is quick and they pass the meat by tossing along the line and it seems like a very friendly fun. The ingredients are fresh too. Definitely clean and bright location and the lines moves quick. Love how friendly the staff are :)

This is by far the best hoagies in south Florida! I have never been t laspadas and not been satisfied. The service is always quick the staff are friendly and my order is always ready when I order pickup. It's clean and the food is delicious. This is the only sandwich shop that load up their sandwiches with so much deli meat. The offer to scoop the bread and thr meat to bread ratio is huge. Even their salads are loaded with protein, which is a great way to fill up on good nutrients as opposed to just bread and cheese. I look forward to eating here every time!!!

The roast beef sandwich I order was very good. When I ordered my roast beef I had everything on it lettuce, tomato, pickles jalapenos, banana peppers, mayo, oil and vinegar, along with American cheese. Service was relatively fast since you stand in line and they make it in front of you. The ambiance of the place is a typical sub shop.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was petty empty so I didn't have to wait long at all. I decided on half of the monster hoagie which is ham, turkey and roast beef. You can get your choice of bread and I chose the white bread. You can get it with American, Swiss or Provolone cheese and toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onions, sweet peppers, hot peppers, pickles, mayo, mustard and oil and vinegar. My sandwich was made quickly and I was on my way. The staff was nice but the reason I only gave it 4 stars was that even though they made a point to clean off the tables in the small dining area, the sandwich prep area was pretty messy. It only takes 5 seconds to wipe down the area not sure why it should be messy when there were so few people in there ordering food so it's not like any of the employees didn't have time to simply wipe it down. Anyway, the sandwich was great and a half was more than enough for my husband and I to eat and it was really, really good!

The subs are still great. The bread is still super fresh and soft. The meat and veggies were still very fresh. I would still give them my stamp of approval. PS: This time, I dropped my wallet in the parking lot outside of LaSpadas, called them when I realized I lost it, and they had it there! (Someone found it in the parking lot and gave it to them for me). I am very thankful for them finding and holding it for when I got back.

    "Where's the MEAT"?

"All good things must come to an end." Super Bowl Sunday at Laspada Original Hoagies in Davie, Florida confirmed that saying. I picked up pre-ordered subs, which were ready on time. While waiting, I noticed multiple sandwich platters going out with clear lids. The sandwiches were visibly sloppy and noticeably skimpy on meat, something that immediately stood out for a place that used to be excellent. Unfortunately, that's exactly what I received. During the game, I discovered that two of the four sandwich pieces contained nothing more than a single thin slice of turkey on top and no additional meat at all (see photo). The Italian sub was nearly the same, roughly an eighth inch of meat at best. I ordered extra lettuce which was barely detectable. This was, without question, one of the worst sandwiches I've had in years. Halfway through the first quarter of the sandwich, the rest was thrown away. The same happened to the other sandwich. At $50+ with chips and tip, I was truly ripped off. Behind the counter were at least a dozen employees, most of whom appeared far more interested in talking among themselves than preparing food, especially on one of the biggest food days of the year. Extremely disappointing from a place that once set the standard. I will be very reluctant to return anytime soon. If you're ordering Turkey or Italian, or expecting what this place used to be, prepare to be disappointed. On a day like Super Bowl Sunday, when customers are trusting you with the centerpiece of their gathering, this was unacceptable. They should have done far better.

What a great local sub shop. They are not kidding when they claim they have "the best damn subs". We were passing through town and looking for some lunch and found this on Yelp. We saw good reviews, so we would thought we would stop in and try it out. Very impressed! The staff were super friendly and the "flying meat" was quite a show. The large sub was more like 18", so I should have ordered a small, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was great. Excellent fresh ingredients!

Panguich is an excellent representation of a modern day Peruvian sandwich shop (with other Peruvian food as well). What I love about these guys in particular: they are local and family owned, they consistently ask for feedback, and they improve the menu and food quality regularly. It's clear they really care about proudly representing one of the best cuisines in the world (if you know, you know). And it's not just a sandwich shop. They also serve many of the standard Peruvian comfort dishes; lomo saltado, the bowls, legit pollo a la brasa, and a very tasty (and spicy) rocoto sauce that I legit put on everything. One note on the pollo a la brasa: if you have never had Peruvian pollo a la brasa, you are truly missing out on one of the best things the world has to offer; and Panguich actually does a better job than some places we have tried in Lima. The chicharrón sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries, red onions, and rocoto is no joke. The tamales are also legit. Pro tip: if you like the chicharrón sandwich and also want a tamal, check out the Lurín breakfast. It has everything you need, including the bread to make the sandwich, plus a tamal and café con leche. Perfect for a Saturday morning breakfast that can be shared if you grab an extra roll. Very happy to have them in "The Coop." Really, this is the kind of restaurant (and people) we need more of, not less.

Fresh, Delicious, Friendly, and Affordable!…read more I can honestly say I just had one of the best Chicken Caesar wraps I've ever had! Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The lettuce was perfectly crisp, the bacon was flavorful, and I absolutely loved that they added crunchy croutons right into the wrap--it gave it the perfect texture! I also ordered a mixed green salad with crisp cucumbers and juicy little tomatoes, and it was just as fresh and delicious. To top it all off, I grabbed two drinks and a cookie, and my entire meal was under $20! It's not every day you find a meal that's this satisfying, fresh, and budget-friendly. The atmosphere was just as enjoyable as the food. From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel welcome. The gentleman at the counter was incredibly friendly, polite, and well-mannered. He greeted customers with a genuine smile, provided excellent service, and made the whole experience even better. Great customer service like that really stands out. If you're in the Davie area and looking for a fresh, flavorful meal that won't empty your wallet, I highly recommend stopping by this sandwich and wrap shop. Clean eating is always a great choice & when it's delicious you can't beat it. The chicken pesto sandwich is amazing. It's served on a fresh ciabatta that has a nice crunchy outside & wonderfully soft inside. It comes with a generous portion of chicken also. The mozzarella cheese pairs perfectly with the fresh peppers & tomato while the pesto gives it that extra punch of flavor that you're looking for. Even writing about it now makes my mouth water. When it comes to cold pressed juices, I feel like they set a pretty high bar. The Orange Crush is a great refresher for the hot days we have in south FL. You get a strong flavor of orange & pineapple up front with some nice hints of apple & lemon that follow. While it may sound like a bit much, it isn't tart whatsoever. Staff is friendly here & the dining area is always kept clean. As expected, it's a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. I'd much rather pay a little more for a healthy meal that fills me up anyway.
