So glad I did today...upon entering, during lunch time only 1 person sitting at the tables and 1 person ordering. There were 2 ladies just waiting for me to place my order (#9 LG Turkey Club $8 and some change) Gili from Televi Israel was sweet as homemade apple pie. Gili's been in existence since 2003. He gave us such personalized attention, I felt super special, but while waiting for my sandwich, I noticed he greeted everyone with the same compassion, warmth and genuine care. My Turkey Club was just as good as his service. The amount of bacon he put on the sandwich was insane! I hope that wasn't a 1 off because I am a lover of bacon and a good sub. We were told about this place by a woman who drove the airport shuttle bus to the Days Inn Hollywood after we were left high and dry by Spirit Airlines. There was no menu online but when my husband, who can be particular about them, ordered a steak and cheese sandwich he got just that! It was delivered promptly and still hot! The roll was toasted just right, not too crispy but not soggy for the amount of steak on it. The steak itself needed no more seasoning as it was deliciously flavored without being too salty or overpowering the juicy chunks of steak. It was just what a couple of weary travelers needed. We'll never fly Spirit again but will keep this place in mind when visiting the Miami area! I rated it 4 stars due to lack of online menu. read more

So far, I walked in. The gentleman sitting behind the counter was laying his head down on a table in the back and said he was "starting to fall asleep." (That should have been my first sign) Ok. "" moving right along. One is in the back with a bleach splattered T-shirt that's about 3 sizes too small and a baseball cap..the other.... I see him at the register, making the food..... So I end up getting my food and upon paying. The man doesn't even know the prices to anything and has to repeatedly look at the menu for pricing to add it up.... Food Result....AWFUL!!! This is my first yelp review, after reading them for years. This was my worst ordering experience ever. After about 30 minutes after ordering, I was called to say they couldn't accept prepaid orders. Ok. I'll pay with cash. About an hour later I was called asking for directions to my house. I suggested they put in my address on their map app on their phone. They said ok. There are 23,336 Subway Sandwich shops in the U.S. But, there is only one Gili's Sub Shop...and that makes all the difference. Gili runs a small sub shop in the South Florida Industrial Park. It's located within walking distance of my photo lab, just a block away from Sheridan Street. The Sub Cafe, as they call it, is one of my staff's and my favorite places for lunch. It's also a preferred spot for a wide range of guests from blue collar workers to radio show personalities & executives. Gili's comfortable indoor dining area is always filled with regulars! They offer really tasty, personally prepared subs that vary from standard American to Cuban to Mediterranean specialties. Plus, a wide variety of fresh salads. I often order a scrambled egg sandwich if I'm there in the morning. With jalapeno peppers on top of the eggs and a cup of their Cuban or American coffee I have a great start to my working day. A new addition to Gili's menu is their "Jerusalem Pizza." This is a thin crust pizza with a multitude of different toppings. For those with a taste for the ultra-spicy you can even order it with Israeli spices. But, I suggest having this spice "on the side" as it is pretty hot stuff. My personal preference is to have their excellent, fresh sub rolls toasted. This is no problem at Gili's. You can literally have any sub "your way." Gili's is a pleasant, no-hassle place to enjoy a great lunch or a take-home dinner. The staff from Gilly on down always treats every guest with warmth and friendliness. I was excited about trying a new lunch place when I saw these guys listed on GrubHub. My job rarely lets me leave to pick up lunch, so I tend to use GrubHub a lot for my lunch needs. Placed an order (enough for lunch today and leftovers for the next couple of days) at 11:34am. Twenty minutes later, I get confirmations via email and text that my order has been received and estimated delivery time is 12:50p-1:00pm. Okay, that's after my lunch break ends, but I'm hungry and it sounds good so whatever. At 1:30, my food still hasn't arrived and I call the restaurant. First, I'm told by the woman who answered the phone that I didn't place an order with GrubHub. Excuse me? This is your phone number, this is the name of your business, this is the information at the bottom of my GRUBHUB RECEIPT. GrubHub has already charged my card. I'm told to hold on. The manager gets on the phone, says, "I saw the order come through but I don't have any account with GrubHub." I asked how the order could go through if he doesn't have an account. He stated he didn't know, but that GrubHub doesn't have his bank account information and so how would he get paid for fulfilling my order? I told him I don't know, but obviously he has an account with GrubHub, I have been waiting two hours for my food and this is unacceptable. He offered to cancel my order and take an order from me verbally over the phone for his drivers to fulfill. Um...You SAW MY ORDER COME THROUGH, THOUGHT IT WAS "A SCAM" AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO CALL ME--THE CUSTOMER--OR GRUBHUB TO CHECK?? I have been sitting here at work, watching the clock, hungry and wondering when my food is going to get here and you just ASSUMED it was a SCAM and didn't even try calling the number of someone who apparently wanted to give you business? Um, HELL NO. No lunch for me today. Thanks, Gilli's. I work right by here and thank god they got this place. The chicken parm is amazing, as well as number 8, i forgot what it was but it had some meat wrapped in a tortilla and it comes with a super healthy salad.
