Private room holds 48 but super tight
    Christina H.

I went to the Sawgrass Mills location the weekend before Christmas. So this will have that perspective added here. Sawgrass Mills is C-R-A-Z-Y during that weekend because it was not only last shopping push till Xmas, but also mid-Hanukah. There's ZERO parking. And add to it, they had valet, BUT the mall was so full the valet was closed. Went to celebrate a baptism. Setting aside the half hour of searching for ANY parking spot, our party was set in the private room area. Our group was set for 48. That room is TOO TIGHT for 48. I would say it's best to cap around 30-35 if you need to include space for walking around for your guests to socialize and gift table or whatever. The servers we had were great! The wine list was bad. The server asked me what I liked. I explained what I was looking for and she agreed their wine list was bad. I ended up with their house lemonade. And even that was a letdown--- so sweet I became diabetic after the 1st sip. I literally diluted with a glass of water. Set menu for the party- Caesar salad (was just ok), choice between cedar plank salmon, filet mignon, or some chicken dish. I got the filet. I was fully prepared for missed proper temperature of my filet being a huge party and most opted for the filet. To my pleasant surprise they made my filet a perfect medium. They did season the filet, but it was missing flavor- needed garlic, onion, maybe a sauce or butter. However, for a party to please the masses they did a nice job. Servers had Huge difficulty getting to the back of the room to service the back tables due to the Sardine seating. So there were challenges with water refills, coffee service, dessert service, etc. oh! Dessert- they're known for their little taster size desserts. There were about a dozen different varieties available. And they were all solid. Will I be back? Maybe on another day not in a party and not during Christmas or any other big shopping event- I will stay far away on those times. But I may try them again not in a big party.

This is my third Seasons 52 store experience, having first had lunch with a friend while on a Coral Gables outing. About a year ago I also visited one in Orlando I enjoyed. But this review is strictly of the Sunrise location in the Sawgrass Mills Mall. I've now been to Sunrise's Seasons 52 a handful of times starting with Biz2Biz and my professional Association Happy Hours then more leisurely outdoor patio dining (too loud w/ screaming kids the time we tried it) but mostly dinner at the bar. I gravitate to the soups and Lobster Bisque, seafood and a favorite wine. I had in my mind to try the Grilled Scallops w/ Carmelized Sauce Entree after hearing others rave about it. About ten (10) days ago I finally ordered the scallop entree for myself to see what it was about but I did not particularly care for the combination of grilled scallops with a sauce where I could not detect anything resembling Caramel. It (grilled scallops caramelized sauce) was just okay in my book. What stood out each time I've dined at the bar here is poor service with long inattentive periods, especially the most recent visit, where it seemed the bartender who took the order did her best to never return relying on teammates to pick up her slack. I am thinking of taking this restaurant "out of rotation" after possibly trying it at lunchtime in hopes of a better experience. Just okay this location.

This is in Sawgrass outlet mall and a nice place to sit down after or during a busy shopping day. The mall is huge and having to finally sit down and enjoy a relaxing meal at this conveniently located restaurant is such a comfort. Their flat breads and butternut squash soup were amazing. The service is prompt and the staff is nice and attentive. The place is clean and the music isn't too loud.

What went well? Everything. For the sawgrass location i expected it to be busy and long wait times but I was wrong. We sat by the bar which had open seating and greeted immediately. As soon as we were situated and placed our drink orders we were all smiles. We started with a flatbread and we thought this was really good and all the flavors were there. And we got the tuna tartar that also came with guac and a chip for scooping. Which randomly paired so nice with the truffle risotto. I can't explain this pairing but I was in heaven. With natural light coming in the windows and great food and drinks this girl was extatic. Please stop by they know exactly what they are doing.

Nice atmosphere, excellent service ( from Bryce), great tasting food at a reasonable price!

This place has a great ambiance, service, and food variety. It's always elegant and we can chit chat without loud music or distractions- love it! We were a large group and they did add a 20% gratuity to the tab but we all agreed we had a fantastic time here so happy to oblige. Our foods were beautiful to behold and very tasty. Since my last visit they now had the summer menu, so new dishes to try! My pineapple cosmo was spectacular. I was not very hungry so I only ordered an appetizer for entree: the musshrooms filled with crab and shrimp, and they were just what I needed: all protein and no (or very few) carbs ! Then I caved and ordered the mini cheesecake: It was delicious and just enough to get my craving for sweets under control! Enjoy!

One of my favorite restaurant chain. The food is great and not heavy. I really like that they have seasonal foods. This fall I have enjoyed their soups and always enjoy the flatbread. My husband and daughter like cedar plank salmon. The waitress are friendly and always give good suggestions. The restaurant also has a good vibe and ambience.

After a day of shopping at Sawgrass we stopped in for dinner. We were seated in the back room and at first the music was too loud but as more people came in they actually lowered it. Our server Samantha was so sweet and helpful. We really enjoyed her as a server. We ordered a bottle of Daou Cabernet. I must say since Covid the wine process here have gone exponentially up. Wines I used to get are $30 more a bottle now!! I ordered the Alaskan Butterfish which comes over a bed of spinach and sushi rice. I'm not a fish eater and I'm trying to incorporate it into my diet. The fish was very good. The only downside was they overloaded the rice with the ponzu sauce. Samantha offered to get me a new order of rice but honestly I was full. My hubby got the filter mignon with mashed potatoes and mushrooms. I just love those mushrooms and had to steal a few. Although this restaurant is far I would try to make a return trip on a weekend just to get Samantha again.

We had 5 pm reservations for 4, we arrived on time, checked in and were seated within 10 minutes. Our Server was Catherine and she was excellent!! She stopped frequently to ask if we needed anything.3 of us ordered the traditional Thanksgiving dinners and one chose Lamb loin with mashed potatoes & broccolini. Our dessert was the mini pumpkin and was a perfect ending of a delicious meal. We love the groups of seating which can accommodate large families and quiet small intimate tables. Seasons 52 is always a good choice!!

Dined here the other night with friends. Haven't been to this restaurant in years and this was the first time dining at this location. It was a Wednesday evening and the place was busy. We were surprised that the inside was decorated so nice, very sophisticated. We were quickly greeted by the hostess and seated immediately at our requested booth. Ryan L. was our server and what an excellent server he is. Super friendly, relaxed, and most importantly, genuine. The excellent service went hand in hand with the tasty cocktails and delicious food. Both the meatball appetizer and pepperoni flatbread were excellent! So much so our one friend ordered a second meatball app as their meal. I had the lamb loin entree and it was very good. I subbed the mash potatoes for marble potatoes and the french green beans for the broccolini. My wife had the pork chop entree and that was just as delicious. The turtle cheesecake was the perfect finish to our meals. We will definitely be dining here in the near future and will hopefully luck out and get Ryan L. as our server again!

Located outside the Sawgrass Mall, this restaurant has never disappointed me. This time I went on Father's Day without a reservation and we were greeted and seated immediately. The atmosphere and decor exude a very pleasant charm and comfort. Our waitress was super kind and helpful showing us some of the seasonal dishes available. We decided to start with the "Wood-grilled corn, aged cheddar and spiced bacon Flat Bread" $12, simply delicious, we ended up ordering another one to take home. We followed with the "Wild Alaska salmon" $35.50, very tasty, well seasoned, the mascarpone risotto was the best part of the dish, the only thing I didn't like was that the skin wasn't crispy. In my opinion, if the skin of the fish isn't crispy it shouldn't be served. "Wood-grilled Kona crusted Lamb loin" $34 this one was perfect, tender meat well seasoned and the mashed potatoes were finger-licking good. For dessert we chose "Blueberry lemon cake" $5.99 and "Key lime pie" $5.99, both were just right and not too sweet, visually the other options looked super sweet so we chose those. As convenient and cheap as these desserts are I would love some kind of option that was actually not so sweet or more fresh like ice cream! Overall very pleased with everything, fast service and quality of food.

My cousin, her friend and I stopped by for a light bite, frank was our server. He was courteous and easy on the eyes lol. Food was delicious I am a sucker for Brussel sprouts and this AMAZING! Also had the lobster bisque- I've had better. My cocktail was good- I'll be back To try others.

First time and I went with the surf and turf and watermelon tomato salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. The waiter mentioned that the restaurant only serves meals under 600 cal which I thought was good to know! The menu had a lot of options. The restaurant is really nice darker setting which gives a really upscale feel. Great service & good food Overall 5 Gs

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

When I sat at the bar I asked what I thought was a friendly question but bartender retorted "Why?" ending any conversation before one started. Moving on I thought I'd just try to enjoy my food. The duck, as it turned out, was a featured appetizer and came plated on a sweet sabayon dessert type sauce in a whipped orange flavor which made for an interesting contrast. My Main on this Friday was a salad known as Sonoma. Because I arrived towards the early evening/late afternoon the entertainer (musician) was just setting up, setup quickly, and soon I was enjoying some great live music. The salad came out but I did not have any silverware as mine was cleared away with the empty duck appetizer plate. Not to worry I took another silverware set along the bar seating and started on my salad. But I did not detect any apples. When the bartender reappeared I began asking "doesn't Sonoma salad come with apples?" I think he realized by my question I did not have any (apples) so he ended up telling me "sometimes it has a small amount of them 'as a garnish'." At that point I referred to the Menu which clearly set forth apples among the list of ingredients for this item. I told the bartender the Menu indicates it is supposed to come with apples. A friendly young waiter who was nearby and heard the exchange offered to bring some from the kitchen. Before paying I mentioned that I took silverware to eat with. That was met with silence. No apology. I wish I could get the service I had hoped for. Still okay.

I finally got the chance to check them out one afternoon when I was in the area. Brewlihan Mead is a 1,700-square-foot mead house and tasting room owned by John and Stacey Hoolihan. John had a background in science education and started out brewing as a hobby. What turned into a passion became a business. Brewlihan Mead is the first commercial meadery in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Mead, sometimes called honey wine is an alcoholic beverage made from three ingredients: fermented honey, water and yeast. It is the first alcoholic beverage consumed by mankind and is believed to predate wine by nearly three thousand years. Since the taste of honey can vary by region, mead can have a diverse and complex flavor profile. To make the mead at Brewlihan, the water, yeast and honey is placed in fermentation tanks with fruit and then aged in oak barrels for 2 to 5 months. You can take your mead to go in cans or they have a nice bar inside the tap room where you can enjoy your drink. I took my mead home and while I enjoyed all of it, my favorite was Winter in So Fla which truly evoked the tropical feel of a winter in Florida. Mead is a great alone or as a pairing to a meal. If you are a mead enthusiast they have memberships for $300 with a host of benefits listed on their website. Whether a casual or refined drinker of mead, you are sure to find something unique and delicious here. John and Stacy are so warm and friendly and this is the kind of science I really enjoy.
