Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

This is actually perfect because no matter what your preference is, we'll find something you like! No more worrying over what bottle to split when everyone has a different palette. The food is also incredible, which tracks because with good wine you need good food. Tonight I kept it simple and just had the shishito peppers, bacon, wrapped dates, and the calamari. Everything was delicious, but the bacon wrath dates get a special shout out. We even ordered a second serving because they were that good! The consistency of the gnocchi's sauce was a bit interesting, as it was all sort of blended together, but the flavor was very good! Would give them each 4/5.
