TLDR: What a down home cigar bar should be!…read more *cue Toby Keith I love this bar I was back in town and had to go back here and was definitely amazed at this place. Considering cigars are a premier thing down in South Florida finding a place that has a great selection, well stocked bar, good vibes and food is a rarity..... A very well stocked humidor and welcoming staff make the difference. After finding a good stick I find a good spot to sit at the bar looking out to the outdoor patio and ponds out there. Friendly bar staff welcome you, get ur drinks timely and check up on you. Kitchen stays open til midnight so after having some late night wings one night then the next night tried their burger and was def behind just bar food Drink selection is good, even having some of the rums I rarely find outside of tiki and rum bars Absolutely a must if you're in the area!

Music indoors was very diverse, they played something everyone can jam too! The humidor had a cluster of options. You will find something just for you to enjoy! We arrived with a family of Five after 2pm and we were able to find seats. It did get busier as the evening continued. So plan accordingly! You couldn't even tell it was busy the service was great, very accommodating, extremely friendly. You can't hear the music well depending on where you sit on the patio. The patio sat off a lovely lake. Great photo opportunity. Now let's get into the drinks. They had a special for ketel one which was not my go to preference but it did what was intended. We also ordered a few (alot) old fashions, the garlic Parmesan wings with ranch, and spinach dip served with tortilla chips. Hope you enjoy it! Let me know your thoughts! Cheers.

Havana 1957 is your classic cuban spot for all your cuban food cravings. Located in Pembroke…read moreGardens this spot has all the delicious cuban dishes like vaca frita, masitas de puerco, cuban sandwiches and lechon asado. We stopped for lunch and tried the lunch menu items. We tried the pollo asado bowl which comes with rice, salad , big chunk of avocado and baked chicken no skin. The rice and beans were so good. Beans were a little watery but were perfect for my taste as this is the way i like them. Chicken had good flavor but was a bit dry. Waitress was fast but food took longer than expected and we had to rush back to work. Love the 1950's Havana nostalgia vibe with all the vintage cuban decor. Dimmed lights and nice bright bar area. Spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor patio area.

In my opinion, trying Cuban food is a must, for anyone visiting Florida, since Spanish culture is such a huge part of South Florida scene. We found one or two other restaurants that offer better quality Cuban food than Havana 1957, but with vibe and music thrown in the mix, we decided to go with Havana 1957. We went on a Wednesday night, and though the place was mostly empty, it took a long time for us to get our food. We were a party of 9 so I understand how it could have been hectic for the chefs in the back preparing our food, but wait time of close to 1 hour felt a bit extreme. Our server was nice. The food was decent. The vibe was nice. The only bad experience I have to say, was that there was a lady from Visenta Studio walking around asking to take photos of us. Before we even got our appetizers, she came and asked if I wanted to buy the photos she took of us on a frame for $20 each. I asked her can I wait until after we eat to pay for the pictures? She said no, I am sorry right now please. I then asked if she can removed the photos from the frame because our family have to go back on Friday and they would prefer to bring just the photos and not the frames. I asked if I can pay her $10 just for the photo and no frame, and she said no it's still $20. I asked her what happens to the pictures I don't buy and she said they go in the garbage. I asked to speak to the manager to better understand how this made sense and she said the manager can't do anything because it's not his company. Honestly, this was such a frustrating experience and lost my appetite going back and forth with this lady named Samantha. I hold Havana 1957 partially accountable for going along with Visenta Studio and allowing this money hungry photographer to come and interrupt our dining experience. The whole experience would have been much better without this photographer engaging to ruin our experience. At the very least, Samantha (Visenta studio photographer) could have had humor and manners and offered to take free photo with our phone after we purchased two of her overpriced photos on hideous frames. I recommend this place to others for sure. I don't recommend you entertain the photographers from Visenta Studio. If they come by you said no thank you and save your money please. We are Florida locals who got suckered into paying tourist price for average pictures.

The reviews had us hopeful and for a good experience to come. When we arrived no one else was in the store so we took our time browsing, familiarizing ourselves and chatting with the employee who was eager to help and answer our questions. We've been to a few other smoke shops but none as large as this one that was so well organized with the variety of products they have to choose from. We purchased what we came in for and a few extra things. The prices are comparable and the quality was exactly what we hoped for.

Have purchased numerous high priced items during that time. That will no longer be the case moving forward. My spouse mistakenly purchased a package of dry CBD and went back into the store less than 30 minutes after realizing she had gotten the wrong item and informed them that she hadn't realized the wrong item was handed to her as she asked for another variation of dry flower, not CBD. Long story short, the shop refused to exchange the item. I did not want my money back. I did not want to do business elsewhere. I simply wanted an item mistakenly purchased moments before (still unopened and sealed) to be exchanged for the item my spouse intended to purchase. Given the associate and manager had JUST sold the product to my spouse moments before, it's clear there is no consideration for customer service, particularly for those who have been loyal over the year (proof is in my rewards account history if the shop doubts how much I've spent there). As others have said, there are plenty of other options in West Pines where you won't be taken advantage of. Very disappointing given how much I USED to talk this place up.

For $60, their brunch offers unlimited drinks and food. I dont know what I expected but the quality and flavor of the food caught me off guard. The Jamaican spread was delicious. From jerk chicken and pork to pepper shrimp, oxtail and dumplings. The pepper shrimp is a must try! Brunch drinks were Bellinis, mimosas, margaritas and rum punch. Pro tip: mix the Bellini with a little rum punch and thank me later Chef Ricardo was an absolute darling, making rounds to our table, to ensure we were ok. I have to mention Michael, the manager, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed. He joined in on our birthday celebration and kept the vibe going with birthday shots. The DJ here was also incredible. Spinning hip hop, reggae, dancehall, soca, mixing it just right for the diverseness of the crowd. Hookah was also on point. A bit pricy but well made. The bathroom situation was a little disappointing. Two stalls in the female bathroom with only one working. Hopefully this is not a permanent situation and will be looked at soon. There is lots of free parking around the restaurant. Great food & good vibes

The ambiance is sophisticated yet welcoming--perfect for unwinding with a drink and enjoying good conversation. What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding customer service. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable about cigars and always willing to guide you toward the perfect selection, whether you're a seasoned aficionado or just getting started. I'm seriously considering becoming a full-time member. The only detail I'm still looking into is whether they offer discounted membership rates for retired military veterans. If they do, it would make an already excellent experience even more appealing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale and looking for a premium cigar lounge experience. This is definitely the place to be for a great cigar, a quality drink, and a relaxing environment.
