Haven't been in years since they were just beer and wine glad to see they have their liquor license and hookah..Thursday nite football and pool tables made it key...the guy bartender must have been new cause he didn't know the price of the patron shot when I asked and although my friends and I were at the bar for over 30 minutes he didn't check to see if were okay or would like a 2nd drink so they decided to leave.. when I told him that was horrible service he closed my tab refused to let the female bartender serve me and told the police that was passing thru that I was the problem.. I have been to the Cigar Bar in Pembroke Gardens more times than I can count. Over the years I have seen its development. It has many pluses, especially if you like good cigars, hookah, beer or spirits. They have a decent cigar selection. The venue is a typical cigar lounge, with chairs, tables and couches throughout for intimate cloisters. They have a juke box, plenty of TVs, two pool tables and on Friday nights a DJ. They play recent music videos which were great, but this most recent visit the music was really loud. Like dance club loud which was a little overwhelming for the size of the venue. There are two pool tables in the back as well. This last visit, I have to say wasn't the best. But in hindsight I think the pattern has always been there, especially on Friday night. The bartenders are not very attentive, which let's me know they either haven't been trained well or they are not supervised. I spent more than 5 minutes at the end of the bar waiting for service while watching two of the four bartenders talking to each other and paying more attention to their phones than their patrons. This is on a Friday night before the place got crowded. I didn't take it personally and was able to finally get their attention by raising my hand and waving it in the air. I had two beers there, smoked some cigars and left when it started to get too crowded. If I am in the area again I will probably return because when there are one or two bartenders instead of four and earlier in the day, the service is a lot better. read more

If I could give this place 1 star I would. I was groped at the bar by a man who was VERY familiar with the staff and yet both my boyfriend and I were kicked out forcefully by security. Not once did the staff ask me what happened or apologize for kicking me out, but they ALLOWED this rapist to continue his night in the establishment. I was shocked at the unprofessional response they had to a situation that could potentially ruin them. They literally backed this man up and let him stay even after tears, yells, and the cops called from me. If you are a lady please be careful here. This man was clearly a bar regular considering the entire staff was on his side. I probably wasn't his first victim nor his last and he is probably there every night. read more

Drinks are bad and the place is not well kept. Customer service is mediocre but this last time I had it.... I have been here twice before . It's always extremely cold ! I'm usually warm so if I'm complaining about it being cold you know it's freezing inside . Both times I visited I had to walk out and get myself a coffee and I asked they told me I could bring coffee no problem.. both times this place was a ghost town . On my third visit the employee with out even saying hello or greeting us came to and said not outside drinks I explained I have done it before he replied the same no outside drinks. Great full-bar in Pembroke. We enjoyed a hookah and cocktails and the Music was so fun! What I feel they could improve on is the entrance, from the outside you can't tell This place has a full bar let alone a DJ and dance floor. This is a nice spot for the area and unique. I suggest to change the marketing a bit up-front and let people know about the full bar and music. Recommend this spot for a nice time after dinner in the Pembroke shops. read more

I don't smoke. But there is something about walking into a Cigar Bar that makes you want to challenge that notion (but not really). Almost the entire southern wall is lined w/ beautifully lit glass cases showcasing every cigar known to man (except Cuban). A fully stacked bar to the north w/ chairs, tables and couches in between. We were there Friday night and they had a Dj spinning. An older 35+ crowd was throughout enjoying the night and dancing. It's a relaxed environment with friendly chatty bartenders. I was there w/ a group. My friend & his beautiful Persian girlfriend got in an argument (those two are funny) so once she noticed the Hookahs lining the wall there was no stopping this Iranian. Grabbed the sour apple ($25 rental) and we chatted the night away (calming). They use hookah coal and not tobacco. She was disappointed by the Hookah design/quality and has promised to bring us a traditional Iranian Ghalyan as a gifts. An overall great night ending at the Cigar Bar. Update December 2011. I did meet a friend late one Wednsday Night, we hung our at the Irish Pub until 11 and ambled next door to the 'Cigar Bar'. I loved the Bartender, she was very attentive, the music was hoping and there was definately some attractive women and the overall client base was cool. Now I am not a smoker, but a lover of Latin Music. I do note the long wall of cigar selection. One of the girls I talked to didn't like hers, but again, ask eh before you buy!. So a fun night out, great music. But just note it turns into more a 'Club' after 11:30 and that is fine, just note that. Enjoy. read more

Considering how isolated Pembroke Pines is from the rest of the night life in South Florida, Cigar Bar does bring a little life to the area. Being right next door to RA Sushi, it's perfect for a post meal hangout. The ambiance is great for a game of pool. $2 per game What I like the most about this place is that their drinks are cheaper and not watered down. You definitely get what you paid for. Ah the smoke-filled den known as the Cigar Bar. This is a pretty fun spot to be at during after hours since there really isn't any other option or competition in the area. The venue is kind of small and tight so it easily gets crowded and packed on weekend nights. There is two pool tables available in the back and a large selection of cigars too. Drinks are okay here depending on who you get to make your drink. Don't expect anything too fancy here this is pretty much known as the after party spot. The DJ usually has a pretty consistent playlist that features Spanish, hip hop, and current top music. I'm not really a big fan of it since the place turns into a giant cloud of cigar smoke stuck inside the building. But if you happen to be in the area and you're looking for a late night spot to catch a drink and dance, you can definitely count on Cigar Bar. read more

CREDIT CARD FRAUD. Be aware of this place. The bartender who identified himself as "Dan" not only overcharged us for drink we did not consume, but also, instead of splitting the bill half/half [as we had requested] charged the full amount of the bill on both our credit cards which he was holding to open the tab. The bartender seemed to be high on drugs and/or drunk, when requested an explanation of the transaction he was incoherent and rude, his eyes were lost and out of focus and furthermore, unable to navigate his hands thru the bill or the POS system. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Honestly horrible service is one thing. Waiting for a hookah when it's busy is fine. But getting the nastiest attitude from DAN and other people in this establishment really added the cherry on top! This was my first time coming to this bar. My initial thoughts were, okay, this is a chill vibe. The music is alright, let me have a good night. Well let's just say within 25 minutes of being here that was completely ruined. I asked for a hookah and told there was a 20 minute Wait. I completely understand that. About 10 min later I see other people walk up to the bar grabbing hookahs left and right. I specifically asked the same guy, what's going on? We've been waiting for a hookah.. he gave me some excuse and said wait a minute.. had a disgusted annoyed look on his face and brushed me off.....even then I still stayed. Point is, service is everything, waiting isn't the issue, it's the way you treat someone while waiting. You can literally change a persons whole experience by being polite and respectful regardless of the situation. I came all the way from Deerfield beach! Drove 45 min to an hour to get here and was treated like an imposter. It even got to the point that I felt my race came into play, and I NEVER want to feel that way. This place is a great find - especially in the Pembroke Pines/Miramar area. It's a great lounge with DJ's spinning great music (top 40, hip-hop, retro, salsa, freestyle, merengue) on the weekends. There's a great choice of top-notch cigars and the staff is always willing to help you make a choice picking one out. They have 2 pool tables and a domino table in the rear to hang out. They have leather couches facing small lcd flatscreens to watch sports. The crowd is almost all locals due to the area and the place has a neighborhood feel. It's unpretentious but classy. Alot of good looking women come out here to. I've been here about Four times, i always come just to walk around or look to see whats going on. They Barely have any event but most of the times ive showed up they've had a DJ playing music. As the Name states, They also have a Bar but i wouldnt be able to tell you a price on their drinks because i've really havent bother buying a drink there. But all i can say they have good name Brand cigars, But they are on the pircey side. Also if you like buying the last couple of cigars left in a box so you can take the box with you, it wont happen here. Here they will actually charge you for the cigar box itself. While other places, it can be 1 or 5 cigars left they will let you take the box. Also The Appearance to this Little spot Is Really nice, i think they have either one or two pool Tables, and a couple of seats and tables set up so you can sit and enjoy a cigar. If you dont want to get drinks in here, theres a place right next to it called The Pub, or if your into sushi to the other side of Cigar Bar they have RA Sushi Bar Restaurant. Cigar Bar is located in a Nice Shopping center name "The Shops at Pembroke Gardens". Walked in with new friends I had just met across the street at the Village Tavern... Had a glass of wine and before I knew it we were all salsa dancing. Some guy... Must've work for the club... was rounding up the troops trying to get everybody dancing - it worked!! The music was pumping - reggaeton - salsa -etc. We we're smoking delicious cigars - I couldn't even tell you what kind - but we were literally huffing and puffing on the dance floor - what a blast!!! Nevermind I was with people I had just met; one of which had zero rhythm and I and other strangers were trying to teach him how to salsa dance; we just laughed our heads off!
