This place isn't called Leafy for no reason - what a lush, cute spot! If you like plants/greenery and inspirational quotes, this restaurant will bring you joy. My friend and I were a couple of the only American-looking people in the place, which told me we were in for a legit Vietnamese food experience before we even sat down. I asked the person who took our order at the register what he recommended for a first-timer and he said the Broken Rice and Fried Rice dishes (both of which were calling my name). I ordered the fried rice with beef and my friend ordered the broken rice. We also ordered the bao buns and taro milk teas. Though I had asked for beef, they brought me chicken - but I ate it bc it looked perfectly crispy, and I was hungry. My only request would be for more veggies in the rice but it was delish nonetheless. Everything was yummy, and I particularly enjoyed the milk tea. Go check these guys out if you're in the east pines area!

Very delicious Asian spot with karaoke rooms! Lots of cool decor, staff was friendly and food came out in good time. ++fried chicken wings: yum! ++broken rice: very good grilled pork chop, good char. Would eat this again ++stir fry ramen: with shrimp yum! ++pork belly bao bun: it was okay, bun was dry ++beef taco with kimchi: very good!!! ++taro milk tea with taro teddy bear and added boba: very good, and visually so cute I would definitely come back and try the Shaking Beef Bo Luc Lac next time. Cool spot!!

Leafy is a super instagrammable space, with food and drinks. Just walls and walls of leafy plants and vines growing from top to bottom, left to right. The ceiling has these cute mirror balls hanging all over, and just overall a vibe. You can grab a table, figure out your order and then go to the front to order. Food comes out in "to go boxes" and you can enjoy at the tables or take it all home. Appetizer: Fried Chicken Wings Kimchi Beef Tacos Stir Fried Ramen with Shrimp - huge shrimp!! Pork Belly Bao Buns Broken Rice: Grilled Pork & Egg over rice Taro Teddie over Taro drink - so cute

Now this place is a vibe! We actually passed by it a few times just thinking it was a salad bar lol! But it's amazing! (There's even Karaoke in the back) The decor is very chic and beautiful. The food was delicious. We had a great time. The staff was very helpful since it was our first time. I think they were the children of the owners, but super friendly

A lot has changed since the last time I dropped in. They've added a new section for dinner seating. I think it was originally the karaoke place. They have an old car that you can sit in and take pics. They were out of the normal tapioca balls (whatttt) so i had to settle for brown crystal. Not the same! I waiting in one of the swings. It was def a vibe while i was there. Did not expect it to be so crowded! My drink was okay. I added cheese foam which was nice. I'll try again next time!

Let me start off by saying that this Vietnamese restaurant is a new favorite! It is located in Pembroke Pines in a small plaza. Once you step inside, the vibes this restaurant gives is surreal - it's super trendy and adorable. Definitely instagrammable. You can do just about anything here - for date-night/study session/girls-night you can grab a bite, drink, and even do a karaoke night! The indoor decoration is so cute and dreamy. I definitely was not expecting it to be so adorable. They also have a mini manga/anime section on the wall. The prices are very affordable. I was so excited to try the tea with the crystal teddy bear, I mean..... it was the prettiest tea I've ever ordered. I ordered the leafy milk tea with brown sugar boba and the milk tea teddy bear. I'm picky with teas and they really nailed it. My MIL ordered the lychee tea with strawberry teddy bear and she was over the moon with the taste. Super good. You MUST order one of these! For food, we ordered the Beef Stir Fry Pho and I couldn't stop eating it even when I was full. It was delicious. The broth was so flavorful and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The addition of veggies and spices added on to the experience. I definitely recommend the Pho. If you are interested in Karaoke, they have 2 rooms currently to choose from and I believe they mentioned it's $60 per hour and can allow about 6-9 people. Cool to try one day. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu and enjoy another one of the cutest tea's I've ever ordered. Thank you Leafy!

Leafy is a quaint lounge and restaurant nestled in Pembroke, Pines. The aesthetics of this restaurant are amazing. You get a vintage anime vibe, with an old school disco lounge, plus a bohemian style all in one place. When we walked in, we were greeted by their friendly staff, and they helped us navigate through the menu plus they gave us great suggestions. We got their Boba that had the cutest ice cubes I've ever seen. The ice cubes are shaped as teddy bears. We ordered their fried rice, chicken, wings, spring rolls, and noodles with shrimp. Everything tasted amazing, especially their chicken wings, which was packed with flavor and a sweet and spicy sauce. Their noodles were great with a nice portion. They have game nights plus karaoke nights, so I am excited to come back to experience more at Leafy!

Lychee tea with milk tea bear and strawberry soda with peach popping pearls

So cozy and the staff was super nice For drinks, I'd recommend the peach tea (super good even without toppings) For food, I'd recommend the kimchi beef tacos and the stir fry ramen (their rice is still amazing) Great and convenient place!

I have had this place on my list for quite some time and I'm so glad I was finally able to check them out. I ordered the lychee tea with a mango ice teddy ontop. It was so delicious and hydrating, wasn't overly sweet at all. For food I had their half chicken and honestly I'm still thinking about this meal. It was fried to a crisp but the flavor underneath was surprising. Seemed as if It was marinated in some type of brine that allowed the spices to really sit in the chicken. The rice and pickled veggies added a nice contrast to the chicken.

Good Thai tea! And a good environment. I like the wall of dragon all z characters, plus if you look there's characters from spirited away hiding in the live plants . Very cute

Adorable spot! The lychee tea with the milk ice bear is super cute and even tastier. I also got the fried rice which was yummy. Great place to work out of. I can't wait to try karaoke here soon!

Tried Leafy for the first time by a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. It's a small establishment but the inside was really decorated nicely, my wife was in love. We were in the mood for Pho so we tried the Beef Stir Fry Pho and it was 10/10. It was really deliciously made, tasty, and suuuuper filling. We've had Pho before at other restaurants and this one is in my top 5. My wife had to try one of the teas with the crystal bear and even I have to say it was extremely cute. If you want a happy wife, order the leafy milk tea with the milk tea bear. She loved it and couldn't stop taking pictures of it. It's a must try if you ever visit. Great experience at Leafy!

First time being here. Cute place and they let our dog hang out with us so it's a plus for sure. The decor is pretty unique and fun. So for the food. We tried a number of items: Pork Bao: taste 5 out of 5. Price 2 out of 5. They fried the pork and the sauce was great. But for the current price of $14 I thought it was a bit steep. Ban mi Sandwich. Taste 3 out of 5. Price 5 out of 5. The biggest disappointment was the bread. It was a bit tough and I'm not sure it was even the classic French bread. For $8 I thought it was a good value. Fried sticky rice: taste 1 out of 5. not sure what this is. Basically it was super fried rice flattened like a cake and lightly sprinkled with meat and veggies. If they had a sauce that they could add to this to increase the flavor it could really elevate the dish. It seemed pretty bland. Broken rice with pork. All around a good dish. Good value. Would recommend. Calamari: the wife liked it. I didn't try. She recommended to eat it with rice due to it being slightly salty. Milk tea: 5 out of 5. Very delicious

I proceeded to walk inside and I found a seat at the bar and I sat there. There were some people in there and I definitely wouldn't say it was dead, but it also wasn't crazy busy. There was three people working one lady with red shorts and curly hair another lady with blue pants and straight hair and then a short guy. I later seen a taller guy as I was leaving, he was not involved in my experience. The lady with the straight hair and the guy were on the side I was on they kept walking past and at no point seeing if I wanted anything, I know some bars you have to get the bartenders attention instead of them checking what you want so after 8minutes, I attempted to get the female's attention a few times for a few minutes and it did not work (she did serve other people during that time and was having conversation with ppl). Eventually, the lady with curly hair came to my side to make someone on her side's drink. I asked if I could order a drink and she motioned to give her a minute. She went back to her side, made the person's drink, then took some new orders from people and made their drinks and served beers.I waited over 6 minutes. Eventually she came to the side I was on and took the order of the person sitting directly to my right, completely ignoring me. At which point I concluded I was not going to get any service in this establishment and decided to leave after a total of 17 minutes of sitting at the bar and being completely ignored. I try to self reflect and think if I did something to warrant this treatment but I couldn't think of anything. The only thing that makes me feel slightly better is there was a guy sitting to my left that had a cup already and he kept trying to get her attention and she seemed to be avoiding him. I'm not sure if everyone was avoiding him for some reason and I was just unlucky for sitting next to him. I hated the feeling that this experience left me with and I hope no one else has this experience. The DJ was pretty good, even playing a few minutes of Reggae which surprised me. I ended up going to the Seminole Classic Casino and got service as soon as I sat down. The DJ was playing R&B and I ended up tipping him he was so good.

For $60, their brunch offers unlimited drinks and food. I dont know what I expected but the quality and flavor of the food caught me off guard. The Jamaican spread was delicious. From jerk chicken and pork to pepper shrimp, oxtail and dumplings. The pepper shrimp is a must try! Brunch drinks were Bellinis, mimosas, margaritas and rum punch. Pro tip: mix the Bellini with a little rum punch and thank me later Chef Ricardo was an absolute darling, making rounds to our table, to ensure we were ok. I have to mention Michael, the manager, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed. He joined in on our birthday celebration and kept the vibe going with birthday shots. The DJ here was also incredible. Spinning hip hop, reggae, dancehall, soca, mixing it just right for the diverseness of the crowd. Hookah was also on point. A bit pricy but well made. The bathroom situation was a little disappointing. Two stalls in the female bathroom with only one working. Hopefully this is not a permanent situation and will be looked at soon. For drinks we had the lychee dragonfruit margarita 10/10 and Hennessy rum punch 10/10 but they took forever to arrive to the table. For starters we had the lobster fritters which I was imagining something completely different. It was not terrible but I didn't enjoy it. For dinner I had the lobster and shrimp Alfredo pasta which was so flavorful. We also had the oxtail with white rice and plantain which the oxtail was tender and flavorful. One thing I don't like is when I order at a place and no one comes to check in or offer a 2nd round of drinks. But the drinks were super expensive compared to other spots/lounges on the Boulevard. The Smokey old fashioned tasted like it was made with a mixed drink kit and they just had to add water. The drink I got was also pretty watered down tasting and also $16 each. I would have liked to see what else they offered, but I'm not sure overall that it's worth it. Food: I ordered an appetizer of plantains done "tapas" style which were awesome (9/10) and my boyfriend got the skewered steak but for some reason, they had to warn us it's not on a skewer after all and asked if we still wanted it. Well it practically looked like a plate of sides (cut up onions, tomatoes and beef) that someone would build a pita or some kind of taco (3/10). Was not worth $17. Should have come with some bread or starch, but that was extra. Ambiance: Music was fine but again, we were outside so it's hard to tell what it would be like from the inside. I just wish they could price their drinks and meals closer to other places in the area. I could have gotten a HUGE plate of shrimp nachos or 2 happy hour apps or 2 drinks from anywhere else for the price of 1 item from here. Speaking of which, it appears Happy Hour is 2 days or the week? Hopefully they will be a little more active online and I'll have a reason to return....Kwanzaa?? ‍!
