I am so happy I found this hidden gem. Traveling from Boston for school around the area and was surprise to see they had an authentic Vietnamese cafe right by my area. Regular milk tea was amazing and the crispy sticky rice was super addicting like street food you get in Vietnam. Safe to say - won't be coming back. I really wanted to like it, but from the get go employees have weird attitude and as soon as you pay (which is upfront) they just bring you the food and you're being completely ignored. My fiance has a knee injury and was just asking for water, probably he called them like 15 times before anyone paid attention. He finished his drink and had nothing to drink(mandarine soda) Water never came because we were done eating by then. I had taro boba with cheese foam and taro Teddy and safe to say it was the only thing that was equally good as pretty. We had vegan spring rolls - three pieces of sadness (I am pretty sure they were frozen from the store, but I got better ones from the Asian mart to be fair) I had soup with crab meatballs and udon (couldn't find anything close to crab in this soup, there were two small pieces of short ribs and 2 shrimps) Then David had stir fry ramen with beef and chicken. This was quite literally noodles from KSF or some other instant ramen - I was flabbergasted. As a customer I felt disrespected not because of their ignorance towards clients (which maybe would've saved their rating a bit) but charging $80 for something that is literally a frozen spring rolls and instant ramen, served in the piece of paper and plastic utensils. Like you guys can't be serious. Place looking cute and very insta influencers friendly but there's absolutely zero quality. The only doable thing was boba tea with teddy and that's the only reason why it's not 1 star. Very unfortunate because photos were looking very good, but as some people on the instagram then you see them in real life and it's like a fun reality check. This place isn't called Leafy for no reason - what a lush, cute spot! If you like plants/greenery and inspirational quotes, this restaurant will bring you joy. My friend and I were a couple of the only American-looking people in the place, which told me we were in for a legit Vietnamese food experience before we even sat down. I asked the person who took our order at the register what he recommended for a first-timer and he said the Broken Rice and Fried Rice dishes (both of which were calling my name). I ordered the fried rice with beef and my friend ordered the broken rice. We also ordered the bao buns and taro milk teas. Though I had asked for beef, they brought me chicken - but I ate it bc it looked perfectly crispy, and I was hungry. They have an old car that you can sit in and take pics. They were out of the normal tapioca balls (whatttt) so i had to settle for brown crystal. Not the same! I waiting in one of the swings. Let me start off by saying that this Vietnamese restaurant is a new favorite! It is located in Pembroke Pines in a small plaza. Once you step inside, the vibes this restaurant gives is surreal - it's super trendy and adorable. Definitely instagrammable. You can do just about anything here - for date-night/study session/girls-night you can grab a bite, drink, and even do a karaoke night! The indoor decoration is so cute and dreamy. I definitely was not expecting it to be so adorable. They also have a mini manga/anime section on the wall. The prices are very affordable. I was so excited to try the tea with the crystal teddy bear, I mean..... it was the prettiest tea I've ever ordered. I ordered the leafy milk tea with brown sugar boba and the milk tea teddy bear. I'm picky with teas and they really nailed it. My MIL ordered the lychee tea with strawberry teddy bear and she was over the moon with the taste. Super good. You MUST order one of these! For food, we ordered the Beef Stir Fry Pho and I couldn't stop eating it even when I was full. It was delicious. The broth was so flavorful and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The addition of veggies and spices added on to the experience. I definitely recommend the Pho. If you are interested in Karaoke, they have 2 rooms currently to choose from and I believe they mentioned it's $60 per hour and can allow about 6-9 people. Cool to try one day. Leafy is a quaint lounge and restaurant nestled in Pembroke, Pines. The aesthetics of this restaurant are amazing. You get a vintage anime vibe, with an old school disco lounge, plus a bohemian style all in one place. When we walked in, we were greeted by their friendly staff, and they helped us navigate through the menu plus they gave us great suggestions. We got their Boba that had the cutest ice cubes I've ever seen. The ice cubes are shaped as teddy bears. We ordered their fried rice, chicken, wings, spring rolls, and noodles with shrimp. I have had this place on my list for quite some time and I'm so glad I was finally able to check them out. I ordered the lychee tea with a mango ice teddy ontop. It was so delicious and hydrating, wasn't overly sweet at all. For food I had their half chicken and honestly I'm still thinking about this meal. It was fried to a crisp but the flavor underneath was surprising. Seemed as if It was marinated in some type of brine that allowed the spices to really sit in the chicken. Tried Leafy for the first time by a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. It's a small establishment but the inside was really decorated nicely, my wife was in love. We were in the mood for Pho so we tried the Beef Stir Fry Pho and it was 10/10. It was really deliciously made, tasty, and suuuuper filling. We've had Pho before at other restaurants and this one is in my top 5. My wife had to try one of the teas with the crystal bear and even I have to say it was extremely cute. Taste 3 out of 5. Price 5 out of 5. The biggest disappointment was the bread. It was a bit tough and I'm not sure it was even the classic French bread. For $8 I thought it was a good value. Fried sticky rice: taste 1 out of 5. not sure what this is. Basically it was super fried rice flattened like a cake and lightly sprinkled with meat and veggies. If they had a sauce that they could add to this to increase the flavor it could really elevate the dish. It seemed pretty bland. Broken rice with pork. All around a good dish. Good value. Once you step in the door it's like you stepped into a garden with nice luscious green everywhere. Plenty of cozy seating. Small limited menu but a variety of common must try Vietnamese dishes. Pho soup was by far the best in the area. Fresh herbs and good portions and so flavorful and homy! Beef fried rice was also great tasting and wished there was more as I can eat several bowls of that. We also tried the wings and this is something that I'll pass on next time. It was okay and not a flavorful as expected and little bit soggy. This Vietnamese place is so elegant! Beautiful decorations with lights and many many plants. It felt like home! I ordered broken rice and Leafy milk tea with strawberry teddy bear and crystal boba. They were good! The grilled pork chop was nicely done. Very flavorful with black pepper sauce too. For boba I wish they had the traditional tapioca bubbles. I went there on a Friday evening for dinner, and surprisingly, there were barely any other customers. I enjoyed my peaceful time there! A great spot in Pines to grab a bite, drink, work, study, or even sing karaoke. Yes, they do have it all here. I haven't been to Leafy since they renovated but am so glad one of my friends decided to do her birthday karaoke here. Leafy is super big and spacious, and I can't recall if they've always had the room next door but not having that wall there really opened up the space. This spot always had a great aesthetic with great spots & drinks to take photos of but now, it's even more photogenic. For our visit here, we were using one of the karaoke room for about 9 to 10 people. They have their karaoke rooms in a back area with about 2 to 3 rooms, if I am remembering correctly. Even with a party singing next door, we didn't hear them at all which was great. We ordered food and drinks for the room and their karaoke amenities were awesome! They had a good enough selection with songs and the room was complete with lights and a portable blowing fan we used to makeshift our own music videos, haha. The service was above and beyond- they were super attentive and even put a cake in their fridge for us and took it out when we were ready to sing happy birthday. One of our friends ordered a good amount of their food and everything was good. I tried their fried rice and thought it was really good but, to be fair, I was super hungry. I plan to come back here to grab a bite and drink in their main dining area. I saw a bunch of people here on their laptops, so I might try to work out of here one day. read more

This place is such a great atmosphere for a calm and yummy dinner. They have so many plants, literally more than I've ever seen in one establishment, hence the name. They've set it up so nicely with even a fake old fashion car in the dining room. The food is pretty good. We tried three different things, the fried sticky rice, which was my personal favorite, and two other dishes i can't remember the name of, one was the shrimp noodles, they were decent. The drinks were yummy though i had a Thai tea and the place has games to keep u busy if you have to wait for your food. Watching the bear sink is probably the most satisfying thing in the entire world. This boba shop is so adorable!! I couldn't get enough of it. The aesthetic of the shop is so cute. Initial reaction as I walked in was how fun and different the ambiance was. It's larger than most boba spots and has a few places designed to snap some photos. This was my first time here and I only ordered a drink-milk tea with crystal boba and a milk tea bear (photo). My milk tea was average, nothing bad to say, but not the best I've had. The boba wasn't my favorite, it's a crystalized texture, which for me defeats the point of boba, they don't offer traditional boba here. The milk bear was ADORABLE and I was excited for it. In the end it is just a frozen bear make of milk tea and something I probably wouldn't order again simply because it's just for aesthetics. I had been fasting for 18 hours and came in with a big appetite but a few things in mind so I started with their wings, opted for the stir fry Pho with shrimp and had room for a pork belly banh mi. Wings were very flavorful and had a good crunch to 'em. Now that stir fry Pho was something else; I mean like in a good way. So much flavor in that dish that I was slurping it like a bowl of ramen. I opted for the shrimp and they were very generous with the portions and shrimps so no complaints there. However, when I fast my appetite is not the usual so after the stir fry I was still hungry and that's where the sandwich came in to finish the job. This is one tasty and finger licking banh mi and one of the best I've tried in South Florida. Everything went down with a refreshing strawberry juice and orange flavored ice. I wanted to try the milk tea but they come premixed and I was told they couldn't make them vegan. So I had a Thai tea with almond milk.
