O man , where do I start !!! This place is so amazingly homie - honestly feels like home cooked meals . Done with love and attention to detail . Met the owner and the main cook and they really love what they do, which makes the experience even better . Had my order for takeout and they made the food on the spot , amazingly fresh , and delicious . Had the Zander's burger and it was to die for , also had the steak and cheese and the garden salad ; all amazing . Also the seating is plentiful as well as the parking . Amazing spot , and will be back for more !

Hidden gem in Hollywood. This tiny burger place is located on US1. Many establishments went out of business in this location but this owner seems to be doing fine. And now I know why. I had the double smash burger with fries. Fries were so so I saw him adding spices and it definitely gave the burger a fine taste and different. They have outside tables to eat and there were quite a few people this evening looks like they are there to stay. I'm glad.

Mostly outside seating and 4 seats inside. I was visiting from out of town and asked the chef for a smash burger, no veggies, extra onions, and smash sauce. Boy did he do more than deliver!!! This is easily one of the best burgers in America. Hands down. Very old school and homemade good food. The service is amazing and is just one older guy who cooks all of the food and manages the restaurant. Everything is homemade too. The ambiance was great as well and so homey. Really good for just a few friends sitting around eating some good greasy food.

The food here is a must try!! Excellent and efficient service, and a cozy atmosphere to come solo or with a group. Everything is definitely made with love, he runs the joint alone so you know it's good

The food was great and simple, tasted amazing, and the fries were perfectly crispy! The service was great! Plus they had apple juice! Let's gooo! It's small but the outside seat was perfect.

Cute place for takeout, 4 stools for eat in or outside tables.

I love finding a good joint, meaning a hole in the wall with good food not one to smoke. ZANDERS at 1428 N Federal Highway Hollywood fits the bill. It's in an old shack that changed hands a hundred times and unnoticeable. It has 4 stools at the counter to eat in if you like. Zander works his magic about 6 feet away grilling, prepping, cleaning and supplies are piled everywhere for lack of space. There are picnic tables outside if you like. I had the Double Z Smash Burger, two hand formed angus beef Bergers smashed and cooked to perfection ( a little crunchy on the outside) cheese, tomato and Romain with a slice of Bermuda onion on a grilled bun. A slight film of the special sauce was on the roll. Sweet, tangy and a bit of heat. Served with a side of fries perfectly seasoned and tased like he just peeled and cut the potatoes. To be honest, the single Z would have been fine. The single is $9.89 and the double was $15.59 Kids are $6.95 ( he has a kids menu) Zander urged me to try the corn. He cooks it fresh so a 15 minute wait allowed to chat with patrons coming to pick up or sit outside. The ELOTE was boiled then charred directly on the gas burner then smothered in a creamy lime mayo, rolled in cotija cheese and sprinkled with tajin (lime, chili, pepper and salt) Zander himself is charming. A mixture of Greek and Arab he loves what he does. It's definitely a place I will return to. Lots of fun items to choose from including breakfast. And the prices are great. Parking in the rear off McKinley Street.

The views at this place are stunning and I highly recommend sitting outside if you aren't coming with super young kids. The outside deck area is stunning. We sat inside thinking it would be too hot but we highly regretted that once we saw the patio. The food was absolutely mouth watering from the bread, to salad to entrees. We made it clear those weren't what we wanted, but he was completely dismissive. It's a "scenic" spot, but the hospitality is nonexistent. Adding a mandatory 18% service charge to a meal where the kitchen failed and the management was stingy is unacceptable. Save your money and go to a place that stands behind their menu. Waitress was nice but the manager deserves a half star.

JWB would have received 5 stars however my experience was rating of 3 although the food was a rating of 4. I was in a party of 14 and we tried several items and while I do not drink alcohol the team indulged and enjoyed several of the options. Appetizer Course: Crab cakes, WagyuMeatballs, Bone Marrow, Goat Cheese Entrees: Shrimp and Grits, Bone-in Ribeye, Steak and Frites, Filet Mignon, Specialty Steak Sides: Mashed Potatoes, Potatoes Au Gratin, Mushroom, Mac & Cheese, Brussels Sprouts, Broccolini Desserts: Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Cake, Banana Cream Pie I personally tried all of the appetizers and they were phenomenal, I ordered the bone-in ribeye (medium rare) with jumbo shrimp enhanced with truffle butter and the following sides to share: broccolini and potatoes au gratin and I ordered the banana cream pie for dessert. My steak arrived well done which is far from medium rare, I asked Patrick to have a new steak prepared because the original steak was not prepared to my liking. Here is where I have an issue with the service provided. Yes, the steak was taken back, however when the new steak arrived, is it expected that I eat "room temperature" sides and shrimp? Why was the entire meal not made over? Needless to say, I was charged a fee for having a large party, however I did not have a large party dining experience. I spent the evening watching everyone enjoy their meal and I simply waited. I asked for the food to be prepared to go, to prevent everyone else in the party from having to wait on me to eat. Nonetheless, no leader came over to greet me or offer any type of good faith gesture for the inconvenience. My bill alone was in excess of $2,000, and I left an additional tip because Patrick and the team were great, however I expect a certain level of service from restaurants especially when you are requesting additional fees to service the client.

Like "let's take pictures before we eat because this patio belongs in a lifestyle magazine" gorgeous. Las Olas energy at its finest. The outdoor seating is fantastic, the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy, and honestly, the food was outstanding. Which is why this hurts. We came for Mother's Day brunch and intentionally avoided rushing over for happy hour pricing because we wanted a relaxed meal. Adult decision. Responsible. Mature. Mistake number one apparently. Started with the charred corn and avocado dip and I need whoever created that dish to be recognized with some sort of civic award. Ridiculously good. One of those appetizers where you immediately start calculating whether licking the bowl in public is socially acceptable. Then came the steak and eggs discussion. My wife and I were both looking at the steak and eggs listed on the menu for $26.75. Our waiter explained that the standard steak was only four ounces and casually suggested upgrading to a six ounce or eight ounce cut instead. Now listen carefully because this is where the plot twists into a financial thriller. At no point during this conversation was pricing for the upgrade mentioned. And shame on me for not asking. That part is absolutely on me. But the suggestion was delivered with the same casual energy as "would you like fries with that?" So I upgraded to the eight ounce. My wife went with the six ounce. She also had a margarita she loved. We skipped dessert because we were stuffed and, as it turns out, accidentally entering a luxury cattle futures market. Then the handheld payment machine arrived. $175. I stared at that screen like it had just informed me my mortgage was due immediately. Turns out those extra six ounces of sirloin between the two plates carried an upcharge that could finance a small fishing boat. Roughly ten dollars an ounce for the upgrade. Somewhere, a Wagyu cow laughed at me from a distance. And look, before anybody jumps in, yes... I should have asked. Lesson learned. But restaurants also know exactly what they're doing when upgrade pricing gets floated around casually without numbers attached. There's a difference between upselling and a sneak attack. Which makes this review frustrating because I genuinely loved almost everything else. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic. Service was friendly. But nothing tanks the ending of a brunch quite like feeling blindsided by steak math. Pro tip for future diners: If they suggest the upgraded steak, ask the price immediately. Ask twice. Possibly get it notarized. Three stars because I really do want to come back someday. But right now I still feel like I got hit with a reverse happy hour.

We spoke with the host about playing since we weren't dining and were told to use the kiosk. After entering our info, we found out it only accepted card/tap and we had cash, so we were directed to the bar instead. From there, we were left waiting with no real guidance we were told someone named "Peter" would handle it, but no one explained who he was or where to find him. We ended up going back and forth for over 30 minutes trying to simply pay and get started, while the host stand (where there were multiple staff) was just laughing and on their phones instead of helping or stepping in to assist. What made it worse is the lack of communication and urgency from staff who were clearly aware we were waiting but didn't step in or coordinate at all. We were eventually forced to just use a card instead of cash to move things along, which defeated the whole point of the back-and-forth. For a place that markets itself as a smooth, fun experience, the service felt disorganized and poorly managed. Definitely not what you want on a special occasion like a birthday.

We opted to sit outside, since it is waterfront and even though it was a hot summer day, it was surprisingly manageable since our covered table made all the difference while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. Not only was it delicious and refreshing, but the presentation was absolutely stunning . a real rose embedded inside an ice cube. It was almost too beautiful to drink... almost. For appetizers, we went with the Tropical Ceviche and the Tuna Tacos, and both were incredible. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I loved the mango touch that both dishes shared as it added the perfect tropical sweetness. Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We also shared the Lobster Diavolo Pasta which was equally impressive and packed with generous chunks of lobster throughout the pasta, plus a whole small lobster to crack into. And then there were the side of Brussels Sprouts ... honestly, I never thought I'd be raving about a side dish, but here we are. Not only was he very apologetic, he seemed like he actually cared about making the situation right. After inquiring a bit more about the service that night he graciously invited me back for another meal. I understand mistakes happens so it's truly about how they're taken care of after the fact. In this case, it was handled well. I decided to come for brunch this time & overall, it was a really good meal. They weren't super busy but service was good. Our appetizers, drinks & meals all came out in a timely manner. For the most part, everything was right but one of the hash brown sides came out cold (it was quickly swapped for fresh ones). My chicken & waffles were delicious. I especially liked how freshly breaded/fried the chicken was. There was a misunderstanding when it came to ordering our drinks, however. I ordered one that should've came iced but got the other coffee beverage which is served warm. When I brought it up to the waiter he was adamant that it's what I ordered & how it's served. After I questioned it once more, he stuck to that, so I kept the drink. Thankfully, it tasted really good & was poured well but it wasn't what I ordered. It was just a bit off putting that he said it was. He said he'd take the drinks off but this was after we went back & forth about it. This isn't a make or break situation for me but he was set in his ways. As a server, you need to be as adaptive as possible, even if you believe you're right. I'm super thankful to have been invited back because it was a nice meal, as I expected. I'm glad I can now tell people to try them out in good conscience. Our server was Kevin, who was very attentive and at our table within a minute with helpful recommendations and brought us nice cold water right away, which was appreciated. We ordered their white Sangria, which was really good! They know how to make them! Very refreshing! My daughter ordered the Prime Rib with Parmesan mashed potatoes for her main meal. I ordered the RibEye steak with Parmesan mashed potatoes. Here is where Superior Service comes in! Kevin and John, the manager, came to the rescue immediately. It was not Kevin or John's fault whatsoever but the mashed potatoes were over-salted and inedible. Both my daughter's and mine. My ribeye was tough, not tender, and had a very strange bitter taste to it that I couldn't handle. Kevin was on it right away and asked what I would like to substitute with. I picked the Prime Rib because my daughter said hers was delicious. She switched to the Loaded Baked Potato and so did I. My Prime Rib was excellent. The problem was solved quickly and the replacements were delicious. Our Mother's Day dinner was a success after all. Then, on top of everything, John presented us with a VIP Mother's Day $10 gift card for our next visit. We topped it all off by ordering the Chocolate Brownie with caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream. It was outstanding!! The Brownie was chewy on the outside and soft on the inside.
