White pizza with pepperoni All the way pizza
Jennifer J.

Haven't had Antonio's in a long time. Our usual go-to is the White pizza and this time we added pepperoni. It was yummy and very creamy. The other pizza was the All the way pizza. It was good, definitely a lot of toppings, which fell off as we tried to eat it. Overall, their pizza is pretty good.

So first off this is a mom and pop style joint real small real homey, which is hard to find these days anymore. Especially italian american food and pizza. This place has amazing pizzas, amazing and filling soups, salads and they bring garlic breads to the table. Now aside from the bomb pizzas and authenticity and lightness in their bread and sauces let's talk about their calzones. Never had one saw it on the menu ordered the small and what arrive was i kind you not the size of my head AMAZING, WAS SO SO SO GOOD could be eaten on its own and fill you up! If only they had a pizza calzone id be here everyday. It takes a little of time to cook since everything is pretty much made from scratch but considering we had so much in between from breads our calzone soda and soup we were able to get our pizza and leave extremely stuffed for a great price. It's giving mom and pop and i hope it never changes i'll be trying their other locations but 10/10 pizza and everything really, my partner also had pasta and it was a more than generous portion making it amazing for the price and TASTE (which is really the most important) fyi that calzone pic is literally half of the calzone and it was thick imagine it whole !!!!!

Antonio's Pizza in Davie is a must try! The pizza was absolutely amazing -- great quality, perfect texture, and full of flavor. Crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right balance of everything. Easily one of my new favorite spots! If you near by do not miss it! The staff was fantastic by the way! Very friendly and helpful keeping me updated on my pizza. I wasn't sure I was clear but.... I will be back! LOL

We first came across it one night a couple of weeks ago on our way to The Field Irish pub right off the side of the road. Out the car window, the place looked like a Norman Rockwell interpretation of the picture-perfect American pizza parlor. We knew in an instant this was a place we had to try. I asked mom if she wanted to take part in a pizza tasting experiment, and she was good to go. Walking in, the place oozed pizza house charm. All decked out with Christmas lights and ornaments, and wreath with bows outlining the serving window. Because we're in the middle of lent, mom had already determined that she wanted half of the pie with mushrooms - It doesn't bear explaining why the other half had to be smothered in pepperoni. When I asked the server whether the mushrooms were fresh or canned, she replied with understated sarcasm, "fresh.... OF COURSE!" The of course sealed the deal for me. After she took our order, she collected our untouched menus and sprinted away with a "your garlic rolls will be out shortly." Whether we had ordered garlic rolls or not was completely irrelevant, they were coming and that's the way it was gonna be. I asked no questions because it seemed unnecessary. These folks know what they're doing. Six golden garlic rolls (not garlic knots) came to the table in a round aluminum tray swimming in a seasoned garlic bath. The roll tops were a golden brown hue unavailable in Adobe Photoshop. They crunched to the naked eye. I tried picking one up, but it was piping hot. So I ceremoniously forked one onto my plate and carved it with one of their uber shiny knives. The inside was light, fluffy, and airy. I dipped a piece in the garlic brine and.... merry freaking Christmas! Santa himself could not have delivered this kind of holiday miracle. Had we not been served a pizza, I would not have begrudged this experience. My mind flashed back to the decadent garlic rolls that Mario the Baker in North Miami used to serve in the 80s and 90s. Better or not, I'll leave that for you to decide. It was around this time that I took note of an accolade on their wall stating that they had been Sun Sentinel's pick for best pizza in Broward County in 2024. Sure enough, our pizza arrived with heaping portions of pepperoni and fresh mushrooms on their respective halves. We served mom her mushroom slice, which was too hot to hold so she succumbed to the fork and knife methodology. She took the first bite and despite the steam rolling out of her mouth, didn't blink and continued cutting that slice as best as her arthritic hands could without taking a breath. I jumped in. Before I could overanalyze the aesthetics of my pepperoni wedge, I shook some parm, crushed pepper, and sprinkled a little oregano and I just went for it. Oh damn!!! Crusty bottom, a little thicker than I would normally prefer, but very light dough. And on top... a blast of tangy tomato sauce, relatively mild mozzarella and salty (in the good way) pepperoni with palpable depth of flavor and seasoned personality. This is when I recognized the jam of "Clap Your Hands" by Chic playing over the PA to overload my already heightened senses. Our server and Antonio's Pizza ambassador, Maya, had suggested dipping the pizza in the garlic brine. Normally, I would've thought this was a no-brainer but the pizza was so overcharged with flavor that this seemed like overkill. Never too shy to try anything once, I gave it a go. Yes, this was a winning combination. However, I don't like to mix my peas and mashed potatoes. And I figured both elements reigned over their respective kingdoms. So, I saved the garlic elixir for my pizza crust edge. I think this was a smart move. You may think I'm an idiot. And you may be right. After all, I skipped the first Keane tour because they didn't have a live bass player. Joke's on me. That said, this was everything I hoped it would be and then some. But, I couldn't put an end to this pizza excursion without trying a piece of fresh mushroom off my mom's half. That was another smart call. Just as we were getting ready to conclude our pizza experience, Maya asked if we were ready for dessert, and I almost denied her the gesture before mom gave me the evil eye. "Our tiramisu is homemade - I highly recommend it." Come on, what am I gonna say? Besides, mom was already sold on the idea. Holy Shangri-La! This slice that came right from dietary hell, or perhaps that's just indicative of where I'm going, was light and creamy, but packed a nicely balanced coffee/coca punch... or maybe it was more like an endearing snuggle. This post has gone way too long already. But if you're off your diet, and you don't mind a triple overdose of carbs in their varying forms set to some funky Stevie Wonder tunes in an out-of-season winter wonderland, this might be a place worth checking out. I personally pledge to come back before 4th of July.

Garlic rolls in bag

I ordered this for delivery. The garlic rolls looked disappointing, due to being packaged in a commercial plastic bag - without a container. This presentation was unappealing! However, these were probably some of the best garlic rolls I've ever had, and even my 7-year-old liked them. Not spicy but flavorful with a TON of the garlic bits and seasoning over the squishy yummy rolls. As for the pizza, ordered a large cheese with broccoli. Game changer! The broccoli must have been cooked seperately, because it was seasoned on its own and tender, with even the stalks tender. Hands down, this was definiely the best broccoli I have ever had on a pizza! Thank you, Antonio's, for your loving care and treatment of vegetables!

Chicken Parmesan, Spaghetti, salad and garlic knots. Delicious!

We are staying at the Fairfield Inn on Griffin, awaiting our cruise tomorrow, so we're without a car. Ordered delivery from Antonio's (my grandfather's name) and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing. Huge portions. Hot and order was accurate. Delivery person was very pleasant and enthusiastic. We'll be back in a week! Mary D.

We were here for dinner and ordered from the Light Dinners portion of the menu. My husband ordered Spaghetti & Meatball and I ordered Eggplant Parmigiana. The Light Dinners come with garlic rolls and your choice of soup or salad. We were surprised at how much food we got! Food was great. I liked how the garlic rolls had lots of fresh minced garlic but I wish they were softer. Someone behind us ordered the regular dinner portion of the spaghetti & meatballs which came with 3 huge meatballs and a pound of spaghetti (lol, jk but it was a lot). The description of the pizzas sounded delicious. We'll be ordering one of those the next time we come back.

Great pizza spot in Davie. Grab a couple of slices and a drink to go for about 9 bucks. The gentleman at the counter is quick and friendly. Help serve people while he was making pizzas also The Sicilian slice was crispy and airy in the middle. The regular slice was thin and crispy. Just the right amount of sauce and quality cheese. I definitely recommend this place.

Small place of Griffin Rd. It gets packed for lunch and it has been here for a while! Service was very friendly and very honest recommendations were given. Very good tasting food and pricing was very good too. The small Stromboli is BIG!!! Small parking area so try to come in early.

Pizza is pretty good and the place is not busy around 5:00 PM (the basic pepperoni large pizza costs around $25).

After all the hype and difficulty getting in, I was very curious to see if it would actually live up to expectations--and honestly, it did. First, the cons. The restaurant is tiny. Like...teeny tiny. There's basically no standing room when waiting to be seated or picking up an order, so everyone kind of awkwardly crowds near the front door while servers and bartenders are constantly weaving around you looking mildly annoyed that you exist there. Eventually, people started gathering near the opposite end of the bar by the bathrooms because there was at least a little more breathing room. Once seated, the atmosphere is very lively, loud, and fast-paced. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely not the place for a quiet intimate dinner. Our server also may have been having an off night because there was a bit of attitude mixed in throughout the meal. That said... the FOOD. Unreal. Absolutely worth the wait and reservation struggle. Everything we ordered was exceptional. The sweet long pepper, Savage Garden salad, and Bolognese pasta were all incredible. Then came the pizzas--the fresh tomato pizza ("upside down pie") especially was ridiculously good. The squash blossom and cold pulled burrata pizza was also delicious. To finish--because we weren't stuffed enough--the strawberry olive oil cake. A literal perfect ending to the meal. Despite a rough start, the food completely stole the show. Easily an 11/10 meal. Now I just need to survive trying to get another reservation for round two.

Our waiter was awesome, great personality, and good recommendations on drink and food choices. We had the pinkity drinkity and Ginny 17 which were both on point, well-balanced drinks. I had to do the veal bolognese which was very comforting and filling while my husband had a hearty sausage and kale panini that I found to be a little too heavy for my taste. I would definitely like to try more from their menu as there were a lot of things that caught my eye but couldn't fit in for this visit. I would try to find a less popular time, if that's even possible.

Exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizza spot that clearly knows what it's doing. We started with the house salad and it absolutely delivered. Fresh romaine, chickpeas, cucumber, red onion, gorgonzola, peperoncini, olives, and egg, all tied together with a light Italian vinaigrette. Simple ingredients, done right. Next up was the Margherita Napoletana with a side of anchovies. I'd put it at a solid 8/10. Excellent flavor and that classic coal-fire char. I'm already planning a return trip to try the traditional New York-style pie, which feels like a necessary research project. Also worth noting: a surprisingly expansive list of Italian wines by the glass, and all fairly priced. Dangerous in the best possible way. Service was attentive and friendly, and the whole place had that great neighborhood vibe. Lots of regulars, families, and people who clearly know this is their go-to spot. The name says it all. DNY stands for Detroit and New York, and they serve both styles with equal mastery. They also offer gluten free options and, even better, a full lineup of house made vegan choices. What really sets DNY Pizza apart is the level of care that goes into their vegan menu. Their vegan cheese, vegan sausage, and vegan pepperoni are all made in house, and you can taste the difference. They even make vegan cookies, and while the vegan ice cream is not made in house, it is still excellent. We ordered a New York style pizza with vegan pepperoni and mushrooms and a Detroit style pizza with vegan sausage, peppers, and onions. Both were incredible. The crusts were perfect. New York is foldable and flavorful, Detroit is thick and crispy on the edges. Choosing a favorite really comes down to personal preference. I honestly could not pick one. The vegan sausage was especially impressive, full of flavor, and the pepperoni was cooked just right. Next time the only thing I would change is asking for extra cheese. It was so good that I just wanted more. The sauce is just as good as everything else, and I recommend asking for a side of it for dipping. I usually leave some crust behind, but not here. Both crusts were so well done that I did not leave a single bite. A heads up. Seating is limited, and because everything is made fresh to order, expect about a fifteen to twenty minute wait. If you are hungry, call ahead or order in advance. Overall, DNY Pizza is absolutely worth trying. There are not many places making their own vegan cheese, vegan sausage, vegan pepperoni, and even their own vegan cookies. Give them a shot and let me know what you think when you go. The small bites were delicious and a great way to sample a personal recipe from the owner. The dish was a pear & cheese fiocchi (learned from our guide that the proper way to pronounce 'ch' in Italian is with a hard 'k' sound). The walnuts and hot honey, along with the housemade fresh pasta, really made this dish (though I couldn't taste the pear...palate isn't subtle enough I guess). Our guide had learned that it is the owner's Nona's recipe (just like the aptly named Nona's meatballs, which I want to come back for, along with their pizza). There is a large speakeasy in the back, which is where our group of 11 sat. As one would expect, they had a large selection of alcoholic beverages as well, many inspired from the Prohibition era. The young owner made sure to greet our party and answered any questions that we have. It has been at this location for more than 10 years, and seems to be thriving.

Although this place looked great, but between crying kids, and a couple poorly done menu items, they lost a lot of points on execution... Our server Tomas was great! Best part of the whole experience. When we got to see him, which wasn't often, because they were short staffed or something as he was also tending bar (where he excelled), and running to take care of everyone, all while being berated loudly by an older gentleman we had to assume was the boss. The food was where they could have made up for that, but sadly, it was all over the place. - Calamari were crispy yet tender, and perfectly seasoned breading, but the accompanying sauce was too spicy for almost everyone in our party. - Meatballs were decent sized, and though they presented beautifully they were dry and overly dense, with their sauce on the opposite end of the spectrum with almost no flavor, and sadly that matched the flavorless meat as well. - Pizzas were the star, creative and delicious though, with just the right amount of toppings but just too much char on the crust. Tomas really shone as a bartender/ mixologist though, coming up with imaginative cocktails on the fly based on our favored liquors. The ambiance is cool, and there is a really decent speakeasy vibe going on with the decor but maybe try it at night to see if that vibe comes through under cover of darkness, cuz today wasn't it.
