As evidenced by my review at the Brickell location, I am a fan of this chain! They always provide a healthy tasty meal and pleasant service. This particular one is also located near both my office and an Orange Theory location. That way I have another reason to eat healthy, even if I'm away from my usual spot. Being a creature of habit, I usually stick to my Thai chicken crunch salad minus cucumber, but with extra chicken. Just received the salad I always order UNDRESSED with half an unripe avocado in it with the skin attached. Last week, the same salad was filled with dark, fatty pieces of chicken thigh so I was able to eat a quarter of it. Once ordered for pick up and they gave me the salad without any chicken in it (the main ingredient) because they were too lazy to let me know they were out of chicken thigh at the moment and expected me to leave and not check. We've been coming to this location of Just Salad pretty much consistently since it opened like 3 or so years ago because it's close to our home. Come here if you can tolerate the following: -Mediocre salads, that are incorrectly prepared half of the time. -Service that makes you scratch your head thinking "what's happening in here? How is a place run like this?" -You can show up here for dinner and be told by a manager "we're out of salad". This happened one night when we tried to order an arugula salad, they only had a limited amount of spinach. We placed an online order recently and came in to pick up the order and we ordered two Pumpkin Bisque soups. The store employee told us they only had enough for one soup and said they could replace one with Chicken Noodle but we could contact "corporate" for a refund for one soup. So we did, as this wasn't what we ordered and we were told by the store the process to get a refund. I contacted the Just Salad Guest Relations team by text and the agent was very rude and refused the refund despite being given the instruction by the store. I'm so frustrated about being treated this way and we've been tolerating this mediocre location for some time now. We won't be back and I don't recommend it to anyone. Now we're left to try to fight the great soup debacle out with our credit card company to get a refund.. --- Update on December 9, 2022: The Just Salad Guest Relations team did contact me by review response and also called me. I spoke to their Director who apologized for any inconvenience and said they would coach their teams appropriately. They also told me there appeared to be some internal miscommunication about the soup refund and she said they would address this as well. She did provide us with a refund for the soup and also provided a future dining credit which I was very grateful for, and also was very grateful for their prompt response with trying to resolve the debacle. read more

Ever since the Yelp Elite Week, I've been coming here almost every week. I got hooked on their delicious bowls and avocado toasts. The first bowl I tried was the Warm Chicken Thigh Bown. It was flavorful and filling. I also tried both Crunch Avo Toast and Avo Blast. They were both fresh but I prefer the Blast one. Other items worth trying are their plant-based shakes. I always get the Almond Berry Blast but if you don't like sweet, get the Detox Cleanse. Now I'm obsessed with the Tokyo Supergreens with Tofu, Chipolte Cowboy with Daring Chicken, and Umami Bowl. Of course, I rotate them every week :) I still need to try the seasonal ones but seriously, I didn't expect salads to be this exciting. Just Salad has figured out a way to make them appetizing and not boring. Also, this location is always super clean and the staff is friendly. Plus it's located in a big shopping plaza so there's always plenty of free parking. The only thing that I noticed is once in a while, they forget some of the ingredients of the specialty salads. I'm enjoy eating healthy. But on Sunday I went to get a salad bowl with chicken thigh and the meat didn't look as fresh as it normally would. But I figured if it was not fresh then they would have threw it out. I get home to eat my food and after eating half way through my stomach started to hurt and I looked at the chicken it was hard and most of it had very dark color to it. Even the chick peas has hard! And in thought to myself maybe it been sitting there for a while and they forgot to toss it out. I worked in the food industry and i know after a certain time food has an expiration time. Great salad spot with create your own salads and quality ingredients. They have some great menu items with calories information next to it. I tried an asian-type salad with tofu and loved it. The tofu was very delicious and they arent stingy with the protein when making your salad like other places are. The avocado toast was also good with a healthy spread of avocado, nuts, and what I believe was goat cheese. The cheese overwhelmed the dish a bit as its a strong one and there was a lot of it. also tried the detox smoothie and it was ok.
