When he pointed this out, the employee claimed she was unable to reverse the charge. There was absolutely no service provided that would warrant a tip on a retail purchase. The food was excellent, but it was the great service that made the experience stand out. Hats off to Jetsika, the server. We'll ask for her when we go back. Prices are on the high side for arepas, but not outlandish - We paid roughly $70 for both of us, including tax and tip. With the level of service we received, and the fact that this is not a take-out stand, it's worth the money. Good food, good service, decent prices... all pluses. For entree we got the Mega Pandeja Paisa that we split between 2 because the portion is huge! Great for one large appetite or 2 smaller appetites. The bandeja paisa comes loaded with chorizo, steak, chicharrones, your choice of maduros or patacones/tostones, avocado, rice with a fried egg on top, red beans and an arepa. Lets just say you won't be leaving hungry and it is so delicious. I always say this is my favorite bandeja paisa, and till this day it still remains my #1. The flavors are amazing!
