Ordered esquite, the fish, lengua, and carnitas tacos, refried beans and horchata. For how poor the service was you'd think the food would be better. The cashier seemed genuinely upset that we dared step into the restaurant. Every item needed salt and lime. The onions they used had no flavor. The horchata was decent. Would not return. read more

Must go. Go up to counter and order and they bing it to you. Service was quick and very friendly. Plenty of seating for the small area and very very clean. Food was delicious and authentic. When I went it was full of guests and the take outs were flying out the door. Definitely going back read more

This place is great! They freshly fry the chips and give you complimentary chips and salsa. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. My lunch was made quickly. I had a steak taco, carnitas taco and side of refried beans. It came to $10. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They had a steady stream of customers getting carry out and dining-in while i was there for lunch on a Friday. Parking is easy in the attached lot. The place is very clean. I highly recommend. read more

The service was polite and the food came out quick. The street tacos were delicious, fresh and the sides and sauces were just as tasty. The only thing I would have liked better is if the corn dish was grilled before putting it in the bowl. Maybe they would do this, but first time here and I didn't request this... All and all, this place is fantastic and worth going.... read more

Great service from the friendly staff and the food was really good. I actually like this location better than Pembroke Pines. They have a good space where you can actually eat and enjoy your food. The photos don't do it justice. This place is seriously so good. Chill vibes if you want to eat at the bar or go outside for some fresh air to enjoy your food. The best thing about this place is the fact that they do not shy away from the authenticity of Mexican cuisine. And their prices are so reasonable ! I have been ordering this place for as long as I can remember on Uber Eats and I finally made it to the Hollywood location and the food DOES NOT disappoint. Everyone is so nice here and Kayla was great! Thank you so much for everything! I'd rate it higher than 5 stars if I could. read more

This little Mexican spot is a great addition to the shopping center. Authentic, cheap, delicious, what more could you a want? When I saw pictures of their food I had to check them out & it was a great idea I did. They're well worth the stop. I've had my fair share of street tacos so I'm always looking for good places to eat. Being in south Florida we don't have a shortage of taquerias but not all of them are what they claim to be. Mexiote, however, is not the case. It's amazing! Everything from their chunky guacamole to their tacos & sopes are delicious. Packed with flavor & wonderful textures, it's the kind of stuff you crave days after eating it. I really like the flavor & slightly crunchy texture of the tortillas for their tacos. They're cooked a little more crispy but it works really well. Both the carne asada & al pastor are next level. The meat is insanely tender & perfectly seasoned. I love the pieces of pineapple in the al pastor, you get a nice subtle sweetness with it. The pork is also marinated wonderfully. The tacos are stuffed full so you get your moneys worth for sure. Getting the sope was also a fantastic decision. I don't usually get these often but it was calling my name. I went with carne asada of course. The corn base was thick & fried to perfection. It was piled high with meat, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, sour cream & beans. Biting into this was heavenly. Each bite seemed to be better than the last. They're served in orders of 2 so you can share with a friend or be smart & eat both. This might have to be an every-visit item from now on. The employees are very friendly & bring the food out right away. There's not too many tables inside so it can get crowded quickly, but it's tended to well. The dining area is kept very clean which is great to see. Everything about this place has something I can speak highly of so I'll definitely be coming back. I'd say they might be the best taqueria in Broward county. read more

My friend Luisa recommended I try this restaurant, she said it's delicious. I'm a fan of Birria tacos and after trying multiple places around, Mexiote is now my favorite! Each taco was a double taco! Yes, 2 tacos connected together so an order of 3 is actually 6! The dipping sauce is so good, not too salty like others I've had. The beef was very tasty on its own but I also enjoyed the green sauce. Street corn was also yummy and of course had to get a Horchata! Delicious! Cute decor inside with music playing. Put it on your list to try, there's one in Pembroke Pines too. read more

Small, cute taco shop with a small bar seating area if you want. Tables are inside and outside. The foot was absolutely delicious. My friend had a burrito, and I had four tacos: steak, chicken, Al pastor and carne asada. I didn't expect the portions to be large but it was definitely bigger than what you get sometimes at other taco places. The food was fresh, delicious and authentic. I didn't even need the sauce to add flavor - the lime was enough. I am definitely coming back! read more

I am a long time customer of their food truck, this was my 1st time at their restaurant... and they never disappoint! Everything is always so fresh and flavorful. The sopas are the best! Someone told me about this little place serving up great tacos and I couldn't wait to try it. It's definitely on the small side with about 6 tables and some seating at the counter. We were warmly welcomed, put our order in and within 10 minutes our order was served to us. I had two of the carne asada (steak) tacos and one chorizo taco. My husband had a fish taco made with lightly breaded cod, and two carne asada tacos. There was a red and a green sauce to put on your tacos if you chose to. We both loved our food, the steak was nice and tender and the sauces were a nice addition. The chorizo was a little spicy but in a good way! When we got there there was one other table taken but the place was pretty filled by the time we left. It seems like they do a great deal of takeout orders judging by the amount of people coming to pick them up and by the phone constantly ringing with people putting in their orders We even ended up taking home a couple of tacos and some guacamole and chips for our son. The place was so clean and the employees we interacted with were so nice. This is one place I can't wait to return to! Pictures of what they serve are included with the review! read more

Well is just your typical updated taco/mexican restaurant, i ordered the taco birria and it was just ok, the horchata was good, i had better, the menu said the taco birria was $14 for three, but i was charged $14.95, the ambiance is just sterile no mood, no real feeling of a mexican family restaurant. There is no service, you order at the counter, they bring food to the table when is ready. Will i go back?, maybe, but there are so many other great real authentic mexican restaurants in the area, so maybe yes maybe no. read more

This is a walk up ordering place that does not service you once you receive your food. Small place good for a quick bite although the reggaeton music was confusing since it's a Mexican restaurant. The birria tacos were on point. The guac was good. The trio tacos were almost great but the carnitas pork was bad, as in had to spit it out and hoping we don't get sick. Pricing is the same as any other place, expected cheaper for the location/ambiance. Not sure if we'll be back but it's a good spot for those in walking distance. read more

We've been looking for authentic mexican in the area and found Mexiote. Simple street tacos with corn tortillas, protein, onions and cilantro. Very good house made chips and salsa + guac. It's middle tier. The street corn doesn't have enough on it, it tastes pretty plain, top of the corn wasn't cooked properly. The burrito is fine but overly salted, not worth the price but it's ok. Not enough seating, and the service isn't good. Wouldn't come back. read more

I grew up in SoCal eating chorizo breakfast burritos with my father, my dad always made it a huge deal to get the Salsa Roja and Salsa Verde. Lived in Florida for a while and lost my father last year.. could find nothing close to the right flavor to bring back his memories. Mexiote came to my rescue with amazing customer service and a mouth watering Breakfast burrito that not only fills up your stomach but satisfies your taste buds! Finally found something that brings back the nostalgia of a SoCal morning with my Pops. read more

I have eaten there 4 times before And had outstanding service, food and food portions. asked for the refried beans on the side and one of the girls said no. Ask why and she said we don't do that. Although the last 4 times I was there, it wasn't a problem. then I asked o k , just put them on the side of the plate , and she said , I'll have to go ask the manager. She came back and said only this time.We won't do it again with an attitude. got my nachos with only 10 chips.Smallest portion I've ever seen. never brought chips in salsa.she gave us togo packets of sauce instead of squirt bottles. It was the poorest experience i've ever had don't think I will be going back. one Girl was disrespectful. read more

Not very great experience with customer service. First of all I made a call to order in advance, I was told by a lady to wait 2 minutes and she had me on hold for more than 5 minutes. I proceeded, hung up and headed over to establishment to place my order personally. Upon arrival, employee was on her cellphone. Waited for her to be done. Then she proceeded to take my order. After placing order I'm being told that I would wait 25 minutes for my food to be done. I then asked for my refund because it literally makes no sense at all to wait 25 minutes for 6 tacos. Not once I was notified before ordering that wait time would be long but it was obvious and most importantly for her, going back being on her cellphone during work hours. She did not even apologize whatsoever. This establishment should hire people that want to work and make customers feel WELCOME. read more
