Popped by for dinner when we visited the beach. The restaurant did not have much space inside and we were seated at a counter in the back near the kitchen and washroom I tried their chicken fajitas. It was a fairly large portion and the chicken and corn were served on a sizzling hot iron plate. The dish was rather bland and they did not provide any sauces with the dish or at the table. The service was very lacking. Although they had at least 3 wait staff running around in a small space, it was very difficult to get their attention or much service. The part that pushed the rating down to a 2 was the bathroom situation. For a taco place where the expectation is to eat with your hands, it's unacceptable that the soap dispenser in the washroom not work properly! We had to ask the kitchen staff for soap after coming out of the washroom as the soap dispenser simply wouldn't work! read more

We came here for dinner during a day trip to Hollywood beach area. The place was packed with customers and lively music when we arrived and we had to squish in a corner at the bar. We ordered fajita, and varieties of tacos to try out. The portion was huge for all our dishes and there were hits and misses in terms of the quality of the food. The chicken fajita came with green peppers, tortillas and rice etc. The flavour tasted like food court food. The chicken was too dry. For the tacos, the fish taco was pretty good, el pastor was average and the chicken taco was again too dry. It was purely by accident that we ended up at this Mexican restaurant but it turned out to be the best accident ever! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Ariel (the host & owner), who went above and beyond to accommodate our party of six with ease and a smile. To our surprise, it just so happened to be karaoke night and let me tell you, it took the experience to a whole new level. The tacos were honestly some of the worst I've ever had. Served cold, lacking flavor, and the meat was unseasoned and unappetizing. I couldn't even finish them; one bite was enough. If they offer rice and beans it is the combo at a much higher price. Make sure to pay attention to your order. They also add gratuity which is fine because I'm an excellent tipper anyway, but we were just a party or 2. I prefer to tip you myself. (Could have been the adjusted order) Our order was hot and correct it had authentic look and flavor. There are many areas that offer similar tastes .
