My friend's family favorite! This was my first time eating here. The service was friendly but a bit slow. The food was tasty. My friend recommended the seafood burrito. It came with rice and beans. The burrito was packed with seafood and mushrooms. It was delicious. The place has a good vibe and crowded. read more

I saw Patron Azteca as I was heading home from work and added it to my list of restaurants I wanted to try - and we now have Patron Azteca as our mix of regular restaurants! We went to Patron Azteca on a weekend evening and were seated immediately and everyone was so friendly and warm and welcoming. They bring you complimentary chips and salsa and this really amazing warm bean dip and will bring you additional chips and salsa upon request. For drinks we ordered the Top Shelf Margaritas for $15.95 and the drinks were large and a great pour! For entrees, we ordered the taco salad and fajitas (around $15-20 each). The food and quality were all amazing and everyone we interacted with was truly amazing - we look forward to returning! read more

Love coming here & have been doing so for the last 17 years. They have always been consistent w/their food even though service can be a hit or miss. Their dishes are authentic & fresh. Their table salsa & refried beans pairs well w/their tortilla chips & an extra side of queso. My daughter always orders the jalapeno cream sauce burrito & it's enough to satisfy 2 or 3 people. Their street taco are the real deal. They have a great fresh ceviche along w/a dish of broiled shrimp in garlic sauce that you can half it w/scallops. We always come here when on a pinch of where to celebrate a birthday for the parents or grandparents. They have a live mariachi band on weekends so that makes it a nice evening out. read more

The hostess was very stupid at best. I came in with my service dog a Yorkie that has been taught to lick my right hand if my sugar goes high. Because my dog was with me she didn't know what to do so she seated people that came in after us leaving us standing there for 10 minutes until she can go talk to the manager. The waiter was excellent and so was the food. The restaurant is very loud and I was not able to hear my wife who was sitting across the table from me. read more

Good customer service, the staff is also very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't get the shrimp tacos again because it lacked flavor but I would highly recommend the carne asada tacos. read more

Not authentic what so ever Mexican cuisine. Guacamole, is good but it's lacking some taste. Salsa is to tomatoey. Chips are not authentic but they are served warm. Tacos Pastor are missing pineapple that is the purpose of the pastor tacos. The rice was good and cooked perfectly. The refried beans were good but not great the ones served with the guacamole were better. Service is mediocre at the best. Lovely decore a good vibe of the place. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place nor will be returning. Enjoy those that try this place. I would like to know your opinion as well. Cheers read more

Food service and atmosphere is great. The margaritas are fantastic but a little pricy.

Fresh, generous portions, beautifully designed inside with excellent service to match! I went to get takeout and was trapped at the bar for happy hour by a downpour and it was a very chill experience. I appreciated the accommodations and kindness of my bartender/server. The hostess is warm and welcoming. My salsa de Ma Mazatlan (queso based) smothered seafood burrito was exactly what I've been craving, high quality ingredients with well seasoned execution. It was on my list to visit for a while and the delicious fare, fresh chips & salsa and quality $5 happy hour margaritas will keep me coming back! read more

This place is fantastic! I have never been disappointed here with either the food or service. They have a large menu of just about everything you could possibly want from a traditional Mexican Restaurant. I tried the enchiladas and I really enjoyed them! I'll be honest -- based on my past experiences with Mexican restaurants in this area, I wasn't expecting much. But I was pleasantly surprised! The chips and salsa were hands-down the best I've had locally, and the complimentary refried beans were such a nice and unexpected touch. Both entrées we tried were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back soon and try more of the menu! read more

Hands down one of my all time favorite spots to go to when catching up with my aunt and uncle with the fam! We absolutely love the service and employees here, especially Victor! He's become a family friend who always takes care of us. Sundays are great to come here for many reasons -- all appetizers are half off, the margs are BOGO, and you can catch the football and soccer games here! It can get pretty busy, so I highly recommend getting here early before the games start. Looking forward to coming back soon and having that chicken taquitos again. read more

I've been to this place multiple times since 2024 food always been amazing and great service.

We stopped by Azteca today for lunch as we were in the area and we love their food. Our server was Marleny, who was friendly, attentive and is a hard worker. She always checked on as as she passed by us. We ordered the same lunch as we did a year ago. It was just as delicious as it was the first time we were here. The ambiance is comfortable and casual with awesome Mexican decor. We even ordered food to take home for tomorrow. We love it here! I wish they had a restaurant in Miami Beach. read more

Located slightly west of I-95 on Sheridan Street, this Mexican restaurant can get quite busy depending on day and time. We came around 7:30 on a Friday this time and there was surprisingly no wait for our party of 5. Our server was initially pretty attentive but got a little harder to find after we got our food. They start off with bringing out free chips, salsa, and refried beans. They do have a spicy salsa if you like, just ask. The birria tacos were good but not great and the sauce was quite spicy. The chimichanga was tasty but difficult to eat. The dos amigos burritos was actually two different kinds of burritos instead of one with two different fillings as stated on the menu but that is probably better. The flan had a nice presentation and was tasty. They are supposed to have a good happy hour if you are in the area and mood earlier in the day. read more

This was an amazing experience from beginning to end. This place has the feel of an authentic Mexican restaurant, with fun decor all over. The service was excellent. Then came the margaritas which were huge and fairly priced. And the food was delicious. Even the chips and bean dip were tasty! I had the southwest burrito which was so good and filling. I couldn't finish it so I took some home. Even the margarita was a lot and couldn't finish it. With so many options, I will definitely stop by again. read more

Love the barria tacos. The meat is seasoned properly and the waiters are awesome! Love this place! Def going back at least once a week!

Food was good but , our waiter was awful. He took forever serving us , didn't check on whether we were ok or how was the food once we received the food. Love the restaurant and the live music that we enjoyed. I felt that we weren't as important as other guests, because of our nationality. He was rather rude , expecting more tip than he received. (For his crappy service ) NO way !!! Never returning .... read more

We have been customers to this great restaurant for many years, and when it come to the food , I give them 5 stars , 100% In the past I had few negative but never about the food. This time the reason I gave 3 stars it was about our server . I think her name was Marleny. She served us like we were in the fast lane at Publix . As we sat, she game and asked if we wanted some drink. In no time we had are nice Margaritas. We had not had time to look at the menu, and she stood next to our table ,waiting , even we told her we need a bet of time . She rush us to order, we were still eating. We she started to clean our table, then she went to stand up not far from us , still like she mean with our bill in her hands All the time we were there ,she took the order ,and that was almost the only time she talk to us . Not sure how much English she can communicate with. We fell, very rush, to eat and maybe give our table to others customers even there was a lot of empty tables . What I like and return to restaurants ,beside good food , is a friendly waitress . We got the food , but this time ,I think that server does not belong in restaurant business read more

This is the second time again at this restaurant and same issue has happened once more .I like getting what I ordered not a what ever ingredient, I must know in advance . So I ordered the veggie macho burrito which on menu has mushroom, broccoli , carrot zucchini's and cauliflower. The plate arrives in a timely manner but I wanted black beans instead of the refried ones , no mushroom , no cauliflower , no zucchini only carrots and broccoli which tasted like the frozen stuff . Total disappointment . My husbands veggie enchiladas were missing mushrooms and cauliflower. I am glad my meal was removed but if you eat what ever and don't check your food, this is the place for you . Meals are plentiful but for me , its not about that but freshness quality and ingredients listed on menu . Take your chance if you eat what ever .. read more

After several visits to the place and enjoy the food and drinks. I get the worst experience again. People please read and keep your ticket. I closed my bill with the tips for $100.00, but the charge at my bank was posted for $102.98. I called the manager requesting why the ticket was altered. He answer was, a mistake and hang up the phone. So people this is the third time happens to me in three different restaurant. First time here ordered chicken taquitos , mediocre to say the most. Soggy not at all what describe. My husband ordered chicken fundido , you can see the cheese slices melted on top. I have eaten here on a couple of occasions and both times the food was hot and fresh! So hot, I could barely touch to plate and had to wait a second. (Which I love.) Their massive drinks are another thing they're known for. The service is great, quick and to the point. They have a decent amount of staff around to help out as well. The inside has a traditional appeal to it's decor giving it a relaxing Ambiance. Not some modern place with those cheesy LED lights on a wall of leaves. I'll be back! read more

My son ordered taquitos for takeout to surprise me. He picked up the package and noted that the charge was 7 dollars too high. When I opened it, it was chicken fajitas, badly done. Stuck together shells, raw vegetables, dry chicken, etc. I left a message on the manager's email. No response. I called, he was too busy. I left another email, still no response. Our family has eaten there for at least 15 years. No more. read more

This used to be my favorite place but now it has gone downhill. Service was good and the drinks were ok. If you order shredded beef tacos , it will be mixed with shredded pork. Weird. What a disaster! The Take out I ordered took them long to finish and when it arrived home, the order was wrong! I ordered the Chimi picadillo and instead they served me the strip steak. The flavor was good. The rice was soft with Zero taste to it. The refried beans were excellent. The chicken taco salad was just "ok", lacked flavor and filled with mostly shredded lettuce. There were (maybe) 2-3 tablespoons of chicken Chopped super tiny. Their taco salad lacked Flavors! This is the third time that I either ordered take out or ate in the restaurant and Each Time the food was a disappointment. Not coming back! read more

The food was so bad! I ordered 3 steak tacos and the corn tortillas were FULL of grease. The steak pieces were over cooked and tough. After I ate 1 taco and it had NO TASTE, I didn't eat the other 2. The Mexican rice was bland. The beans was a smidgen pasted on the plate. Not even enough to taste. My friend ordered 3 chicken tacos and she agreed with the same comments. I had to go to the restroom and it smelled so bad! Like the sewer. I will never go back to Azteca. Yuk! read more
