I saw Patron Azteca as I was heading home from work and added it to my list of restaurants I wanted to try - and we now have Patron Azteca as our mix of regular restaurants! We went to Patron Azteca on a weekend evening and were seated immediately and everyone was so friendly and warm and welcoming. They bring you complimentary chips and salsa and this really amazing warm bean dip and will bring you additional chips and salsa upon request. For drinks we ordered the Top Shelf Margaritas for $15.95 and the drinks were large and a great pour! For entrees, we ordered the taco salad and fajitas (around $15-20 each). The food and quality were all amazing and everyone we interacted with was truly amazing - we look forward to returning! read more

Not authentic what so ever Mexican cuisine. Guacamole, is good but it's lacking some taste. Salsa is to tomatoey. Chips are not authentic but they are served warm. Tacos Pastor are missing pineapple that is the purpose of the pastor tacos. The rice was good and cooked perfectly. The refried beans were good but not great the ones served with the guacamole were better. Service is mediocre at the best. Lovely decore a good vibe of the place. Love coming here & have been doing so for the last 17 years. They have always been consistent w/their food even though service can be a hit or miss. Their dishes are authentic & fresh. Their table salsa & refried beans pairs well w/their tortilla chips & an extra side of queso. My daughter always orders the jalapeno cream sauce burrito & it's enough to satisfy 2 or 3 people. Their street taco are the real deal. They have a great fresh ceviche along w/a dish of broiled shrimp in garlic sauce that you can half it w/scallops. We always come here when on a pinch of where to celebrate a birthday for the parents or grandparents. They have a live mariachi band on weekends so that makes it a nice evening out. read more

Hands down one of my all time favorite spots to go to when catching up with my aunt and uncle with the fam! We absolutely love the service and employees here, especially Victor! He's become a family friend who always takes care of us. Sundays are great to come here for many reasons -- all appetizers are half off, the margs are BOGO, and you can catch the football and soccer games here! We stopped by Azteca today for lunch as we were in the area and we love their food. Our server was Marleny, who was friendly, attentive and is a hard worker. She always checked on as as she passed by us. We ordered the same lunch as we did a year ago. It was just as delicious as it was the first time we were here. Located slightly west of I-95 on Sheridan Street, this Mexican restaurant can get quite busy depending on day and time. We came around 7:30 on a Friday this time and there was surprisingly no wait for our party of 5. Our server was initially pretty attentive but got a little harder to find after we got our food. They start off with bringing out free chips, salsa, and refried beans. They do have a spicy salsa if you like, just ask. The birria tacos were good but not great and the sauce was quite spicy. The chimichanga was tasty but difficult to eat. The dos amigos burritos was actually two different kinds of burritos instead of one with two different fillings as stated on the menu but that is probably better. After several visits to the place and enjoy the food and drinks. I get the worst experience again. People please read and keep your ticket. I closed my bill with the tips for $100.00, but the charge at my bank was posted for $102.98. I called the manager requesting why the ticket was altered. He answer was, a mistake and hang up the phone. So people this is the third time happens to me in three different restaurant. This is the second time again at this restaurant and same issue has happened once more .I like getting what I ordered not a what ever ingredient, I must know in advance . So I ordered the veggie macho burrito which on menu has mushroom, broccoli , carrot zucchini's and cauliflower. The plate arrives in a timely manner but I wanted black beans instead of the refried ones , no mushroom , no cauliflower , no zucchini only carrots and broccoli which tasted like the frozen stuff . Total disappointment . My husbands veggie enchiladas were missing mushrooms and cauliflower. I am glad my meal was removed but if you eat what ever and don't check your food, this is the place for you . For years, the family of 6-10 people eats and/or takes out from Patron Azteca, regularly. Generally, the service and food are good. With the last takeout order, there was a mixup with one of the 3 taco meals which was to be a taco al pastor. Instead of providing customer service and honoring a taco al pastor on the house, the lunch manager was extremely rude and hung up the phone when our conversation ended versus transferring the phone so the family could still place their takeout order. After, the phone attendant kept putting the family on hold and/or hanging up until all their lines were tied up forcing them to take the family order. In this economy and with so many good mexican restaurants nearby, I was shocked by the owner's employees behaviors. read more

The flavor was good. The rice was soft with Zero taste to it. The refried beans were excellent. The chicken taco salad was just "ok", lacked flavor and filled with mostly shredded lettuce. There were (maybe) 2-3 tablespoons of chicken Chopped super tiny. Their taco salad lacked Flavors! I have eaten here on a couple of occasions and both times the food was hot and fresh! So hot, I could barely touch to plate and had to wait a second. (Which I love.) Their massive drinks are another thing they're known for. The service is great, quick and to the point. They have a decent amount of staff around to help out as well. Giving 5 Stars so you can see this review! The management and the staff at this establishment are disrespectful, rude, and uneducated on basic laws. My family and I went here for dinner last night 10/1/2023 around 7:30 pm. The hostess then told us we can sit at the bar since we had a service dog but this was a form of discrimination because we had elderly people in our party who can't "climb" onto a hightop bar stool. We explained to them that the dog present is accompanying an individual with a disability and he is a -Federally Protected- ADA Service Dog.... The establishment did not care. Under law, an establishment may only ask 2 questions. This establishment started asking questions that we know as service dog handlers would be considered discrimination under the ADA Federal Laws. The manager started yelling at us stating we are "being disrespectful", our dog is a "fake service dog" because we won't provide his ID (which we have but are NOT legally require to show unless entering a government building and last time I checked the closest thing to government this place has is being SHUT DOWN BY A FOOD HEALTH AND SAFETY INSPECTOR), and his "vest should be green, not red" .. Actually a service dog does not even need to identify as a service dog but the handler may simply state its a service dog. Common knowledge to have when running an establishment. The crazy thing is we ate here several times in the past with the exact same service dog and this was never an issue. I have already contacted Broward County ADA Compliance and have submitted a formal discrimination complaint. read more
