Decided to finally try Talkin Tacos after leaving on Cinco de Majo, because it was so packed the line was ridiculously long. I ordered the trio taco sampler and selected; Al pastor, Caribbean , Carne Asada. My least favorite was the Caribbean because of the sweet plantains, the flavors do not mix well with a sweet cream added on the top; Nope, did not like. The Al pastor was good but nothing special. The best one was the traditional Carne Asada. I specifically requested no onions on my order and upon arrival to ensure it had no onions. I open the box in the car and the first thing loaded to the top was onions! Yuck! My stomach has been upset since my taco consumption. Overpriced, overrated, and would not return nor recommend!

Front desk was super nice, she said if we needed anything to ask her. Ordered food at 8:30 and didn't get it till probably 30ish mins later. So I guess don't come hungry if you don't want to wait. We did the taco deal where you order 2 tacos, 1 entree, & 2 drinks and Side of chips for $20. We ordered guacamole for $7, it comes with a lot of guac, so very shareable between 2-3 people. I actually enjoyed the mahi taco, it was delish. The guacamole was also very good. The 2 drinks were your choice flavors of jarritos, or water, fountain drinks. The ambiance was spacious, very bright lighting, neon, electric, artsy vibe. The parking was spacious, this place opens till 2am so very convenient on the weekends considering this location is near a college town.

A couple of weeks ago, I was craving ramen and saw Talking Tacos on Uber Eats. Though I didn't order then, a coworker raved about it. Since it's all over social media and expanding to many new locations, we decided to try it today! I visited Talking Tacos with coworkers. It's in a convenient plaza with easy parking, casual vibe, and indoor/outdoor seating. I loved the self-service kiosks for card payments. Food-wise: The street corn nachos with steak were a 10/10. I only had one nacho, but that one bite was packed with flavor. My birria tacos were a 4--disappointing--and they arrived last despite ordering first. The taco salad was a 7. I tasted the birria ramen broth--just okay. We had Biscoff churros and guava-and-cheese churros--fresh, but the cinnamon and sugar overpowered the fillings. I'll return for those nachos, but I'll skip the birria--unless I try the quesadillas.

Yay new location of Talkin Tacos in Davie! So delicious!!! Elote in a cup is ELITE and I was happy to enjoy it with the chips that came with the chicken burrito! ++chicken burrito ++carne asada tacos ++elote in a cup ++guacamole Service was fast, it was busy and my food came before the text to say it was ready came. You order at the self-service kiosk and the team was kind bringing out everything you need. The music inside is a vibe, the black light is fun and there's outdoor seating too if you want some fresh air. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Wepa!!!

I've been to another location years ago and remember loving the birria so I was so happy this one opened up closer to home. We tried many things including the dip trio, birria quesadilla, a carne asada taco, the bang bang shrimp taco, birria ramen, and the elote cup. Everything was very good! It all seemed very fresh too. There's lots of seating inside and outside and service was good too. There is also a taco deal on Tuesdays.

My bf and I live down the street from this new location and we were so excited for them to open. We came Saturday night around 7pm planning to dine in. We arrived at the restaurant and first of all, the doors are so heavy and hard to open. You think the door is locked but really you have to pull really hard just FYI. We watched everyone struggle to open the door. Secondly, there was a family dining in and they had small kids running around and screaming all over the restaurant. Lastly, an employee was sweeping the floor and kept banging the chairs against the table and just being really loud. To top it off, they had a bug infestation and there were multiple small moths flying inside around the black lights. An employee even stood on a chair and tried to kill the bugs with no luck. Due to all this, we decided to order to go and eat at home because all this really turned us off from eating inside the restaurant. After placing our orders using their self order tablet, we waited around 15 min for the food to be ready. I ordered the birria stack wrap and my bf ordered the steak stack wrap. The food was good but nothing out of this world. We're hoping we can go dine in one night and it will be a less chaotic experience.

I was impressed with how quickly our food was served, especially considering how fresh and well-prepared everything was.

The ceviche is great, fajitas are sizzling, and there are plenty of options for the kids. Complimentary chips and refried beans. Excellent friendly and attentive service with a smile. There were seven of us for Taco Tuesday, and from the moment we sat down, our waitress seemed irritated that she had to serve our table. We ordered quickly because we already knew what we wanted. I ordered four Birria tacos on corn tortillas ($19.00) and a michelada ($9.90). Everyone else's food came out correctly, but mine did not. The tacos were clearly served on flour tortillas instead of corn. I politely pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced. Instead of correcting the order, the waitress brought back the exact same plate and looked me in the eye while insisting they were corn tortillas. They absolutely were not, and my friends confirmed the same. I refused to eat them and ended up taking them home for my daughter. What makes this especially upsetting is that this isn't just about getting an order wrong--mistakes happen. The problem is that the restaurant chose to lie rather than fix it. If this had been a customer with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, the consequences could have been serious. Serving the wrong food is one thing; knowingly trying to pass it off as something it isn't is completely unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible.

Surprisingly Good!…read more We stopped at Taco Craft Taqueria for a quick lunch during our conference, and I'll admit--I was a little iffy about this one at first. I'm a simple taco girl. Give me some good street tacos and call it a day! I don't necessarily need Korean BBQ, tempura, and all the fancy, bougie extras on my tacos. So when I saw the menu, I wasn't sure this was going to be my kind of place. But surprisingly... they got me! The tacos were actually really good. We happened to go during happy hour, so the prices were very reasonable. I tried three different tacos: the tempura shrimp, Korean rib, and ground beef. The ground beef was the closest thing to a traditional taco, and while it was a little salty for me, it was still good. The tempura shrimp and Korean rib were both really tasty and definitely surprised me. We also added rice and beans, which went well with everything. I don't remember the exact happy hour pricing or combo details, but overall, I thought the meal was reasonably priced for what we got. The restaurant itself was really cute, and the service was great. Just know going in that these aren't your traditional street tacos--the menu is definitely more creative and elevated. For someone who walked in skeptical of the "bougie taco" situation, I walked out impressed. If I'm ever back in Florida and in the area, I'd definitely consider stopping by again!

The restaurant is buried in a line of other businesses door-to-door from each other, and hidden behind shrubbery. Once you find it, you will know it. There are husband and bride skeletons on the floor in the window by the door. Once inside, we were greeted, and asked if our order was pickup. It was to go. The wonderful and very busy woman at the counter, offered the menu, but we already had one. She was busy not just taking orders, taking payments, and getting deliveries out the door, but mixing drinks, and taking care of tables! She was a one woman army! Outside looks small, and so does the inside. But the layout is done in such an effective way that it there is counter seating, and more than enough tables to host a small event. It is like a small living room that is still large enough to throw a decent party! The décor is authentically Mexican with Mexican pottery, glassware, imagery, decorations, etc. Regarding the food, it is as authentic as the décor. Chilangos Mexican Grill is not Taco Bell or Pollo Tropical! The food is made from the heart and soul not from a corporate cookbook. So if you are a fan of Mexican food, or want to try it, visit Chilangos Mexican Grill. You may have trouble finding it, but once you do, the trouble will be MORE THAN worth it!!!
