Stopped by Uchu Tacos stand while visiting the Yellow Green Market. I was craving fresh ceviche and we basically walked around for 30 minutes trying to find where they were after we passed them the first time. I'm glad we did because the food was amazing! Staff was also amazing and very friendly! I loved that they offered a "paleo" option (lettuce instead of a taco shell)! They have an open kitchen and I loved sitting at the bar watching them lovingly prepare everything. The food was amazing and fresh and the ceviche was beyond delicious. Really hit the spot. The sauce they served with the chips was so spicy and delicious too. If you're in the YG Market looking for something delicious to eat the Uchu Tacos spot is a 10/10 recommendation!

Excellent. Tacos so good i ate them both before snapping a pic. I had the cauliflower and the lomo saltado tacos. The lomo was so tender it was better than the recent ceviche 105 lomo I had a week ago. Looking forward to trying more.

Found this taco joint inside Yellow Green Farmer's Market while walking around. Keep in mind, this market is huge and they have probably have 3 or 4 other taco stands inside but Uchu caught my eye. They are not making traditional taco, but their creations are infused with Peruvian flare. The menu offers a-la-carte tacos starting at $4 and seafood tacos at $4.50. I got the Al Pastor Fungui (veggie), Seco (Short Rib), Chicharron Lurin (Pork confit). I was pretty impressed with the quality. They tasted different from one another and were absolutely delicious. Plus each taco is made to order so they come out nice and hot. When this pandemic is over, I'm definitely coming back for more. Not only the tacos were impressive but the service was also great. The best tacos! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They often make different types of hot sauce, and every type is outstanding and has a great kick. The A La Brasa Taco, Shrimp Anticuchero Taco, Octopus Anticuchero Taco, Rajas Poblano Taco are my favorites. The homemade blue corn tortillas that are used for the tacos are great. My go-to spot for a quick lunch.

I placed my order through Ubereats and it was extremely deceiving. I ordered tacos because it was buy one get one free. It was literally one small taco for almost 7 bucks. I ordered a burrito that through the photo looked like it had meat. It was only rice, lettuce and onions. The quesadilla was only cheese and looked like it was from the kids menu. The Ubereats menu is not descriptive at all.

Great guacamole here can't say enough good things about they put pomegranate in there and man it's a game changer! Tacos are excellent as well if your in the yellow green farmers market this is the place to come!

I've eaten here many times and the food is always amazing. It's my go to taco place. Great, kind staff too :) I recommend the Lobster, cauliflower and short rib tacos but they are ALL awesome! check this place out !

What an amazing discovery inside the yellow green market. It is honest food! Made with passion and love. Love the idea of "Peruvian Tacos" it is the perfect mix. Easy to eat. Good to eat while enjoying the market. What caught my attention is that it is the only place that offers this kind of fusion. I highly recommend "aji de gallina, a la brasa, al pastor lomo saltado, fish escabeche" Great place with amazing food! You must try it when visiting the market!

Delicious, authentic Peruvian food! Short-rib bowl was delicious, hot and fresh even late at night when we came by. Owner/chef came out to check on us and chat for a bit too. The food hall isn't doing too great with establishments coming and going, though this is a nice option to have if you're not feeling classic pizza/bar eats at the other places. Price is a little on the hefty side and not your usual "chipotle-style" bowl and toppings, but I would probably get it again if I were in the area! read more

WOW. Incredible flavors, fresh ingredients, and warm service. They started us with nachos and homemade salsa and hot sauce. They even sell their hot sauce! AMAZING Peruvian tacos - lomo saltado, octopus, and short ribs were sooooo tender and well seasoned. Served in soft tortillas and topped with herbaceous cilantro and crunchy onions = exquisite. They had a nice promo of free drink if you dine in, so we enjoyed a cold pineapple jarritos. And they even gave a water bowl for our dog. They deserve 10 stars read more

I've been trying to get here for quite some time and I was not disappointed. This is located at the farmers market so the ambience is a moot point. However the customer service is fantastic and the food was sit down restaurant quality you can see them preparing and they are very meticulous. We had the tacos and a tea and we intend to go back. read more

Very sad to leave this kind of review but I got really disappointed by this place . Only thing I liked was octopus taco. The rest is pretty mid and basic. I looked at the reviews and was like wow. GPS took me to a different location if not people who were working outside and idea to drive a bit further I wouldn't be a able to find it . On google and Instagram they have different info prices etc. The bill came out to 60$ for 4 tacos small guac / corn and 2 sodas. Place is wack it's some cheap market so good luck if you more less boujie and going for some nice lowkey spots this is not it . Overrated overpriced tacos . Corn is not good . Guac good tho. Octopus taco is amazing . Lady working there was sweet also. But place , location and prices - I'll stay away. Won't come back and won't recommend read more

Uchu welcomed us with open arms and the food was incredible. The short rib and lobster tacos are definitely high recommendations from me along with the guacamole! Hard to find but worth the visit Inside the cavernous Yellow Green Farmers Market. I had read that the farmers market had a plethora of prepared food artisan kiosks from which to sample a smorgasbord of international delicacies. As of July 2021 - UchuTacos is the tastiest, most artisan, most authentic of all the kiosks. This is Peruvian Taco fusion at its finest. The blue corn handmade tortillas are right on point, soft and crispy. Deciding which Peruvian filling is a daunting decision. I chose the aji de gallina, which was well seasoned, a good portion and accentuated by the picked red onions and parsley. The King Taco Honor of the day goes to the Grilled Octopus Taco on a bed of potato mash. WOW! I wish I would have not eaten or sampled as much Before so I could have a second and third Octopus taco. Staff is super friendly, service is attentive. Eating here was the highlight of my visit. Can't wait for them to expand! Que Rico! read more

This place is truly an example of successful fusion of Peruvian and Mexican flavors. It takes the best Peruvian dishes and turns them into taco form. I would recommend to pass by when visiting the yellow green market! read more

Me and my wife were at the yellow green farmers market while on vacation in Miami and we stumbled across these tacos with a Peruvian twist. These were some of the best tacos I have ever had, I go to Mexico every year and have had tacos from different places in Mexico and these tacos are easily in my top 3 favorite tacos of all time. I highly recommend anyone considering eating here to do it. You will not regret it. If I could give them 10 stars I would. read more

when incan Peru was colonized by the Spanish, one of their main discoveries was exoticness of Peruvian food. to their surprise,peppers were equally important in Peruvian food as the spanish regard salt. therefore,they are the base for Peruvian cuisine. in incan, UCHU and CACHI means peppers and salt. to exclude peppers, or the spiciness, in the food would be synonymous with excluding the Peruvian flavor

The pollo asado bowl was well-balanced, with a slight heat from the beans and a smokiness from the seasoning on the chicken. The carnitas burrito was a real stand-out though. The pork was insanely tender, and thankfully not too large or overstuffed. I hate a soggy burrito, but this one was perfect. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, and answered the few questions we had on the menu when we arrived. The place is definitely small, but for anyone in the area takeout would likely be a good option too. Overall, I'd go out of my way to come back the next time I'm in Hollywood!

I ended up going up to the bar and asking for sauce, and by then, my wings were cold. Our waitress finally came back with the sauce, saw it on the table, and said "oh someone else brought it?" I told her I got it myself and she just said okay. I still never got my 10th wing. She disappeared again and now our drinks were empty for a long time and we were out of napkins. Again, I went to the bar. I apologized for bothering them and explained that our waitress disappeared, and the bartender was super nice and helpful. Eventually she came out to check on us and was again surprised that our drinks had been refilled. I again told her that I got them myself. She said she had other tables, which I get, but they definitely weren't busy and the amount of time she was gone was still super excessive. Between basically waiting our table myself, the missing wing, and the dry wings, this was unfortunately my worst ever Flanigan's experience.
