Still five stars. I was pleased with my beef pastrami sandwich. It was very thinly cut, not what I am used to. It was still tasty. I loved the little potatoes (cashier calls them hashbrowns) They were delicious. The empanadas, ham and cheese and beef one was good as well. My neighbor liked the turkey but. The sandwich is massive. The Cafe was busy. They give good service even though you order at the register. This restaurant is modern looking and immaculate.
I love coming to this bakery when I want to get some work done or catch up with a friend. The staff is friendly and the matcha and baked goods are so good!
From the moment I walked in I could tell this coffee was going to be good. We were immediately greeted and felt the warmth of the place. They offer coffee, pastries, all day breakfast, and more. I started with the iced hazelnut coffee and a chicken empanada. I knew the food was going to be amazing when I saw an older woman in the kitchen preparing the food by hand. By the first bite you can taste the freshness and homemade flavor. My fiancé ordered the s'mores latte. He liked that it was an equal taste between the s'mores and coffee. The coffee shop is beautifully lit with modern decorations. It's a great coffee shop with great vibes.
Buddy's Bakery--man, even though I didn't try any of the sweets, everything looked so yummy. The display alone makes you want to try one of everything. I ordered the cinnamon bun coffee, and it was so good--warm, comforting, and full of flavor. On top of that, the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, especially to finally try those desserts next time
A hidden gem! You'll miss it if you don't look hard enough but thankfully we came across this small and friendly cafe. Service was amazing from the moment you walk into the door, pet friendly, and so many offerings and things to try! Great for breakfast, a quick pick me up, or a delicious treat. They will soon be opening up another location in Weston, stay tuned!
I love my Argentinian places and this one did not disappoint, plus they have Matcha! Empanadas are great and I can't wait to try one of the cold desserts. Some things could be a bit pricey not going to lie but the service is really nice. The pistachio croissant was the best and really big portion!
Cute place but my biggest complaint was High prices & the Bogo sign for desserts was false advertising see pictures attached I paid $13.31 for 2 desserts that's regular price Service was good Ambiance was good.
$20 grand total for a med iced latte w vanilla & a pistachio croissant is outrageous!! While the croissant was buttery & flakey, it did not constitute $9.99 price tag, especially considering the size was like any other croissant. I don't like too much sweetness & decadence in food, as the pistachio drizzle on top was just that. If they went alil lighter on the drizzle, would have been better. The place is small so on a Saturday morning when we went, it was packed. Luckily there are 3 tables outside so we sat outside. It got really loud inside as well as there is some sort of echo, especially with the tables all being against the wall. When, I think he is the owner?, brought out our food, he assumed I got the sandwich w chips vs just croissant instead of asking before about putting it down in front of me (just because I'm heavier than my friend doesn't mean I eat more -_-) I would recommend Buddie's for those that do have a sweet tooth and want to try something different. And I wouldn't not go back again, I would give another try but yet again, since I don't like sweets, I can't find myself spending another $10 on a plain croissant.
Pistachio latte- good I only wish it had more of a nutty flavor Pistachio croissant -delicious and has pistachio creme in the middle White chocolate croissant -on the sweeter side and has white chocolate creme on the inside and has coconut shavings Scrambled egg breakfast - a very good portion, I substitute the pancakes for Belgian waffle and turkey bacon Plain croissant- had a vanilla glaze which was not too sweet Everyone was super nice and helpful with the menu It was small but it's a cozy ambiance and they have seating inside and outdoors
We stopped in after getting off our cruise for some breakfast. This place is so clean and cozy! They have wonderful atmosphere and very kinda attentive family style staff. All the food we had was delicious, the bathroom was clean, over all a very great experience. They have a huge selection of sweets and baked goods as well as a full brunch menu. Large menu of coffees and drinks as well. It is a little pricey in our opinion but they provided great quality product and service.
I love supporting local businesses especially when I travel or go back to where I used to live. I found Buddies while I was visiting my mom. I decided to get a bunch of things because everything looked so good. I had an iced strawberry matcha. It came with whipped cream which I actually would have preferred it didn't. It was very sweet but I liked that they used real strawberries in it at least. 3/5 Also had a pistachio croissant. Again, the icing and filling were really sweet but I loved the flavor overall. However, it was $10, and I just think that's way too much for a croissant. 3/5 Banana bread was delicious and filling. 4/5 My mom had the alfajor I left behind but she said it tasted chemically and actually brought it back. 1/5 Honestly the best thing I had there was by far the empanadas. Some of the best empanadas I've ever tasted. I had the chicken, spinach & cheese, and guava & cheese. Such good flavors. The chicken was moist and seasoned to perfection. The crusts were nice and firm. Guava and cheese was the perfect amount of sweet and savory. 5/5 The women working there were also super nice. Ambiance was pleasant. There are lots of tables to sit, including a couple outside. I'd like to try a few more things next time, including their meals. This time it was a bit hit or miss but generally pretty good!
I love this place!! It's my favorite I've been more than 5 times now and every time everything is amazing. Service is always top tier! The brie is the best sandwich there

I don't like to find local coffee shop to try out. I'm tired of going to the regular Starbucks. Buddies is a clean and lively environment. The customer service was excellent. It was very busy for the 2:30 in the afternoon. The resting was extremely clean, which is something I always appreciate. I purchased an espresso, which was excellent. I might supporting multiple businesses as opposed to the franchises. As a result, I see myself coming back. read more

Cute spot for brunch! We came during the evening on a weekend and there was one other table dining in. It was also drizzling a bit, which might have affected the turn out of guests. Got the spinach and cheese quiche with came some fresh fruits. Absolutely delicious! The spinach and cheese which was amazing. It was soft and layered well. You could taste both the spinach and cheese. The fruits were also delicious! I also got the cracking chocolate matcha latte. Cute experience! I think it would've been nice if it melted in the cup as well, but it just cracks and then you have to pick out the chocolate pieces from the cup if you want to eat it, else it kinda just sits there as full size chocolate pieces. The chocolate itself was also very mid. Not something I'd even buy in a grocery store. Wouldn't say the crackling chocolate cup is worth it other than for an instagram picture, but the food is amazing. read more

This is the second time my husband and I have visited and the food and service are always impeccable. The croissants are so unique and well made and the coffee is delicious. Great breakfast spot. Good good for great value, took home so baked goods and those were delicious. Really enjoyed my latte. It was consistently busy but rotating enough that everyone could order and get a table. Very clean, with very friendly service. It was nice to be able to bring our doodle with us. Would love to come back! read more
What a gem I recently found in Cooper City! I've been twice now and I have really enjoyed stopping in Buddies Bakery both times! I love their pistachio latte and the presentation when you drink it in house is amazing! Staff is friendly and helpful with their recommendations! They offer a pretty big menu with breakfast, lunch, and sweets/pastries. Food wise I have enjoyed the omelette empanada which was the perfect afternoon snack to go with my pick me up coffee and I tried the breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel most recently for breakfast. The bagel was loaded with eggs, cheese, bacon, and cream cheese ! It was a huge sandwich and very filling. I also brought my husband home a ham, egg, and cheese croissant which was also huge and delicious. I was able to redeem a free small caramel macchiato for checking in :)! Highly recommend checking out buddies bakery! read more

Wonderful bakery in the heart of Cooper City. This location opened three years ago and have been here several times for Expresso Coffee for $3.99. This time I skipped the coffee and went right for the Beef Empanada for $4.99 and it was fresh and hot - great tasting and added some hot spice sauce. They have a large menu for such a small bakery. Smoothies, Coffee, Empanadas, Alfajores, huge Sandwiches and complete breakfasts including a healthy food option menu. The staff was very kind and explained all the items. They have several outside patio seating. The bathroom was very clean too. read more

From the moment I walked in I was greeted (by the amazing Mocha) with a full welcoming smile and warmth. Then the pastry case. Wow! I immediately wanted one of everything (but I had to contain my excitement and pick just a few items). The Chai and the Cappuccino... smooth, strong, creamy, frothy, and just the right temperature. The ham, egg, and croissant sandwich... a pleasure. Eggs were fluffy and creamy, ham was the right amount of flavorful and the croissant held it all together, crispy, soft and buttery. My favorite, the lemon croissant...a must for the lover of zesty, creamy while still having a light and airy crisp. How is this possible? Brilliant, decadent, crave-able, a party for the tastebuds. My first time will not be my last. See you soon, Buddie. read more

It was good but not...great. Buddies has a great social media presence which influenced me to come. Enticing videos of cracking chocolate shell lattes and delicious baked goods. On walking in, we noticed the decor was very nice and it was very chill atmosphere. You walk up to the counter to order, so no table service. I ordered a matcha latte with coconut syrup, pistachio croissant, and a Spanish empanada. Honestly all of it was very underwhelming. The dough in the empanada was extremely dry, with very little filling. The matcha latte had a minimal matcha flavor. And the croissant was good but so outrageously messy. While I was very eager to come, and I truly hope it was just a "bad day," I usually try multiple items in order to get a feel for the quality and just wasn't impressed. read more

Found this on IG and they have so many good choices ! We got the avocado toast and Belgian waffles with 2 drinks and a pistachio, croissant! The food was good but the avocado toast didn't really have much flavor besides that everything else was 10/10. Customer service was great they were very helpful and the location had plenty of seating inside. The ambiance was nice and quiet read more

Absolutely loved everything! Hands down one of the best bakeries I've been too. Would come back hands down again and again. The cashier was a woman did not get her name but so nice and attentive. Great atmosphere. read more
Came back to get a quick caffeine boost and glad I did. Everyone was welcoming and they remembered us from the celebration which was nice. Because we went during normal hours, they had tables out and music in the background not too loud and some people inside other outside. The chai latte was really good. We got the sampler of desserts which had peach pudding cheesecake, the chocolate decadant cake a sort of fruit cake and the berry cheesecake- which is my favorite one so far! Will have to stop buying for lunch ! read more
Buddies Bakery has been on my long list of restaurants I have to get to asap. I'm so glad I touched base for pick up when I was in the area. The staff is so amazing and patient and walked me through my entire to go order. I got the chicken pesto with Bree sandwich and it was divine. My husband and son got breakfast sandwich's (one on a bagel and the other on a croissant) and they were so fresh and delish too! I mean it is a bakery of course but I think they add a little extra love in their flavoring. We also got some alfajores to go. YUM! I don't like being late to the party but I'm so happy to have joined the buddies craze. If you're in the Cooper City area, on the run or have time to sit down, this place is a must read more

It's all about the pistachio for me, and the pistachio latte here definitely hit the spot. I customized it with the toasted marshmallow fluff rim. It was so worth it and very Instagram worthy. The service was great, everyone was so kind. They went out of their way to make the latte for me the way I wanted it, I was pretty specific. This spot is located in a busy Publix plaza. There's so many tasty options to choose from, for both food and drinks. They have breakfast items, lunch items, and delicious baked goods. It has a very cute, relaxing atmosphere. It's not very big inside, but it feels very welcoming. There's a few tables outside too. Price wise, I did feel it was a bit pricey for the area and for being a coffee shop/bakery. Was it worth it though, absolutely. I'd definitely recommend checking this cute spot out! read more

I'm always on the hunt for a coffee shop that I can also hunker down and do some work at and after seeing this place on social media, I had to check it out. Buddies is in a little plaza with a ton of parking and the interior is clean with lots of space. The staff is incredibly kind and service is quick. I got a hot latte and a beef empanada. This was one of the best empanadas I've had in a while; it was so flavorful and came piping hot. The latte was also good and their more extravagant drinks also look delicious. I was able to study here as there is wifi, they have an excellent playlist going, and it's not super loud. I will definitely be back! read more
