L to R: apple pop tart, strawberry pop tart and double chocolate chip cookie. Best one was the apple pop tart
Navene S.

Broooo their apple pop tart was soo good!!! I ordered online for pick up, they took a few minutes to get my food together, left with a box of delights and had a feast in the office. The deserts are delicious without being too sweet. You can actually enjoy the whole thing and not feel this immense sugar rush. My favorite was the apple pop tart. The regular strawberry one is very good too. Their stuff is unique and delicious. They run out quickly i couldn't try a few things i wanted to bc they had run out by the afternoon. So plan in advance!

I had a very disappointing visit here on Sunday morning. I came at 8:30 because their door notes they open at 8 (although the time is correct on Yelp) and I wanted to be able to get a good selection before it sold out and support a local business. I ended up leaving empty handed. If you just show up you will not be able to purchase anything according to what the owner told me. Instead of expounding on my feelings about this place I am just going to explain how to shop here and actually end up with baked goods. They are online order only because I think they are baking to order. I did not know this before coming down and even after looking at their website I don't even think it is clear on that. It says future ordering now available not you can only order online. Certain items are offered on certain days and you need to order them ahead of time. Order early because items sell out. At 9 AM on Sunday, the time they say they opened, out of nineteen items offered 10 items were sold out and the rest said only a few left so you really need to order even days ahead. After speaking to the owner I won't be back. He took off his mask to speak to me and then argued with me about how far the virus can spread when speaking. I also saw other workers inside with their masks open. It made me wonder if they are on while they are packing up items. If you want to try and get items now you know how to do it. Too bad it wasn't clear to me before I wasted my time.

WOW. I was in a mood for a cinnamon roll and in my Yelp hunting stumbled into this spot with my algorithm...+ boy am I glad I did. Their menu changes regularly but we've stopped here at least a dozen times at this point trying everything along the way and bringing it to friends to share the love. Everything is fresh made, flaky, crusty, warm, soft, and delicioussss - the everything croissant with cream cheese inside and other croissant sandwiches are def off the chain. Just do it. Thank us later.

I can't believe I just learned about this place! I'm so glad I saw it on yelp! It's been a long time since I've been to a quality bakery. The owner is pleasant and offers great customer service. I had the honey pot (like a cronut), sticky toffee pudding, brookie, and a hostess cupcake. All items were super fresh and made with quality ingredients. The prices match the quality and portion size provided. The hostess cupcake is made with a rich chocolate. The honey pot is like a cronut, but better! The brookie is amazing! It is soft and flavorful. The sticky toffee pudding is amazing and unique to find in South Florida. You may want to heat it up a little to make it even better! There are a few seats to dine in. There is plenty of free parking in the attached parking lot. I highly recommend this bakery! They have pop tarts that change flavors daily.

It's all in the name! A darling rustic bake shop with the sweet aroma of baked goods in the air. The shop has a quaint decor, no tables just standing room. However this little bake shop packs a punch when it comes to simple, fresh, clean tasting baked goods flavor. They bake an array of delicious baked goods which varies daily. I've been here three times in the past month, don't judge, it was the holidays, lol ;)) And the service from Alyssa & Neida (owner) has been nothing but friendly & helpful each visit. Below is a list of yummy baked goods I've had in order of my preference. Blueberry coffee cake Snickerdoodle cookie Lemon bar Oatmeal cookie Sticky toffee pudding cake Lintzer cookie Gingerbread/molasses cookie Cranberry/orange pop tart Sugar cookie truffles Red velvet cookie sandwich Treat yourself or wow your family, friends and/or co workers with these delectable baked treats they'll adore you. I'll be going back for many future visits but I'll be pacing myself :))

I've never been here before so decided to try it for Yelps first taste friday. Its a cute little bake shop with many good looking tasty sweets to try.Todd was very friendly and helpful. I decided to try the smores bar, with a gram cracker bottom chocolate center and toasted marshmallow topping, also tried a morning roll which was soft and sweet with a flaky crust, both were delicious. The shop was nice and clean.Cant wait to go back for more of there tasty pastries.

Only by chance did I find this place. I was in the Fort Lauderdale area and did a random search for "cake", God it's so hard to find cake slices, especially ones that are not vegan or gluten-free, and this place popped up. I only needed to see two things, the star ratings and the toe-curling pictures of their pastries. I called immediately, and then I called again the following day and headed on down there before 12 pm. It seems they sell out of many of their items before 12 pm. Canary-virus : They only have specific items on certain days, so you go to their website https://www.sweetrusticbakeshop.com/categories , and on each day they show what they have and how many of each item they have left. You can order for any day but you can only pick up on the day it's being offered. I didn't do that though, I just drove up there and by the time I arrived what I desired was sold out even though I had just called about it about 40 minutes prior. So don't be a "DeVry grad" like me and order online, they also have contactless pick-up for the fearful. I got the Pop Tart of the Day, chocolate cookie, brookie bar, turkey and cheese croissant, sticky toffee pudding, and a chocolate croissant. One bite of the chocolate cookie and I immediately knew the "Good Book was divine truth. Just as hell is populated by Dentists from Mississippi doing unnecessary dental procedures on the sinful without anesthesia, so is heaven populated by divine pastries created by winged Angels. When I took two bites from the brookie bar I knew I had to stop, it's sweet deliciousness made me have a vision that I've only seen in my dreams. In my mind's eye I saw Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez commanding me while she had me on a leash. There's nothing more attractive than an Elegant "Out of Control" Educated Progressive Boriqua from The Bronx. This luxury cannot be gorged quickly, it must be savored slowly and preferably with a fine wine or a mixed cocktail. ~~the owners are a great friendly couple, and the master baker, the wife, is self-taught.

I was so looking forward to trying some sweet treats after filling them on Instagram and was in the neighborhood and got to give them a try. Maybe because I wanted them to taste the way I had "thought" was the reason I was disappointed. I will definitely give other items a try when i visit again. Very friendly and inviting bakery.

Amazing little bakery! This spot is so sweet, it's hard not to come here everyday. Such great reviews I was very intrigued, so I checked out there online menu. You can order for pick up right on their site and order days ahead! They have daily features and an assortment of cookies, pastries, and what really caught my eye were their homemade pop tarts. I decided to get a little of everything to try and everything was heavenly! The cruffin was huge! I first got it filled with Nutella then the second time the vanilla bean. Highly recommend the vanilla bean filling!!! The pain au chocolat was also very big. Flakey goodness with just the right amount of chocolate. The koughn aman was my favorite. Buttery, sugary, pastry to die for. I have to get an extra one for the road! I ALWAYS get a strawberry pop tart, best pop tart I ever had. The Morning bun is a biggie, cinnamon sugar all through out the middle. The s'mores bar is only on fridays and is very rich. Took me a couple sittings to eat that bad boy. I've never had anything here I didn't like. The staff is so cheerful and efficient. Can't wait to come back!

I love love this bakery and wish they were closer. They are super friendly and responsive on IG which was how I found them, as a sponsored ad. Their website makes ordering and curbside pickup super easy. My faves in order are the kouign amman, blueberry pop tart (specialty item of the week), sticky toffee pudding, raspberry friand, brookie bar, cheddar biscuit (specialty Sunday item), chocolate chip cookie and the snickerdoodle cookie. The chocolate croissant and Nutella cruffins are good, too, but I just prefer the others. I always look forward to trying something different from them while usually including the other tried and true items! I love their pop tarts! I am looking forward to trying another type soon! It was so buttery, flaky and perfection. I didn't think I could enjoy it as much as I did, but then again it wasn't your average commerical "Pop Tart"! It was bougie Pop Tart on crack and I mean that in the best of ways! A bit of randomness but their pastries were one of the last things I ate before completing a prolonged water fast and one of the things I ate 3 days after breaking my fast. Even with heightened taste buds towards sugar (after any type of prolonged decrease in sugar consumption, like with intermittent fasting) it was just still and always will be divine to me. It's such a treat and experience. Their pastries are sweet but balanced and never lacking in flavor or texture, and they're not sweet for nothing (like just because it's a dessert sweetness). I do have my preferences but they never disappoint. I actually take the 25 mile drive out (each way) because of the pandemic. I make it a road trip with my daughter or alone (to get away from them ). Their curbside pickup is seamless. I hope they bring back fruit danishes soon, but likely after the holidays. If it wasn't for the drive it would be very hard for me not to go once a week. Maybe after this Rona mess they'll expand to have pop ups closer to suburbia by me in Pembroke Pines. You never know. Until then I look forward to the next divine pastry meetup!

Went back for a second and third week in a row, and got the turkey and cheese croissant which was very good, but would be made perfection if warmed up. The sweet mascarpone fruit danish was delicious, they only have it on Sundays and they sell out quick! So act fast, you won't regret it. I also tried the almond raspberry friand. I'll admin I have no clue what a friand is, but man am I fan! The first thing you taste is the little clusters of pistachio, then the acid and sweetness from the raspberry just create an explosion of flavors in your mouth finished with a nice hint of almond. Highly recommend 12/10 I also got to try their iced matcha with oat meal and honey simple syrup, and it was very good. It was actually my first time trying matcha and let's just say there's a can of matcha in my pantry now.

Drove up 2 Fridays ago - 40+ miles to pick up my order of guava and cheese cruffin (dusted with sugar), morning bun and a kouign amann. I fasted all morning just to have this. I got a freshly squeezed ok from Mike's 2 doors down and had half of each in the car on the way back down. Like I mention in the photo caption - they're not letting you sit inside because of Covid and there's no bathroom so pick up only. My favorite was the Kouigan Amman. It wasn't too sugary like the guava and cheese cruffin which was HUGE! I didn't expect that since the photo online didn't show the true size. Still delicious but definitely worth sharing with a few others. I had a few pieces until the sugar was just too much. I'd like to point out that I tend to add very little sugar to my sweets. The KA was light, fluffy, eggy deliciousness. Morning bun was a crunchy cinnamon roll that paired really well with my cappuccino. Still good the next day! Looking forward to making the trip up again and getting more! Service 5 Pastries 5 Cleanliness 5

Ask the Community - Sweet Rustic Bake Shop

Hi is there something not too sweet more sour taste or something with the least sugar? Thanks

Yep! She does savory croissants and a breakfast bun that isn't super sweet. Avoid the brookie if you're not a hardcore sweet tooth :-)

Are there any gluten free pastries?

Hi Nadia! :) We sell cookies and our sticky toffee pudding, but per request and there is a minimum order.

Are there vegan options?

No. We offer the offer the sticky toffee pudding by the batch (6) only.

"Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first!"…read more Oh my goodness! Talk about bringing out the little girl in me! Icy-N-Spicy is a fun, colorful and vibrant newly opened dessert shop in Miramar. They are tik tok famous for the viral 3D ice cream poppz and their real fruit ice cream. After wondering around the shop snapping photos, Vanessa, the dessert expert on duty, helped me make my decision. Their entire menu is home made. But I was there for one thing in particular. The dragon fruit ice cream! This and a few other flavors such as mango, coconut, pineapple and kiwi are all made with 100% real fruit. Living up to the hype, it was delicious! The ice cream came in the skin of the dragon fruit, had perfect coloring and the right amount of sweetness. Talk about instagram worthy! The portion was very generous. I took a few bites and rushed home to put the rest in my freezer. Another plus, is that the ice cream held up perfectly during the 10 min drive home. Full disclosure, they are on the pricey side. I'm super excited to return for the Dubai chocolate desserts! This fun and unique dessert experience is highly recommended when in Miramar.

Everything looks viral and picture perfect. You can take photos literally anywhere and they will come out amazing. They clearly put a lot of thought into making the space fun, colorful, and social media ready. The staff was also very friendly. The girl who made my milkshake was sweet and even asked if I could leave a review, which I appreciated. The milkshake itself looked absolutely stunning. It was beautifully made and completely Instagram worthy. Unfortunately, the taste did not match the presentation at all. I ordered a Ferrero Rocher milkshake, and it had almost no flavor. It was not sweet, did not taste like chocolate or hazelnut, and honestly just tasted like milk. I am not exaggerating when I say there was almost zero flavor. I drank about one third of it and ended up throwing the rest away because I just could not finish it. For $16.50, that was really disappointing. I also noticed they sell viral dessert items like fruit ice cream pints priced at $30, which feels extremely expensive for ice cream. If you are looking for a fun, aesthetic place to take photos, this is definitely a great spot. But if you are going strictly for dessert quality and flavor, I personally do not think it is worth the price. I really wanted to love it, but it just did not live up to the hype for me.

They had such an array to choose from but two flavors caught me and my partner's eye: Toasted Marshmallow and Brownie Haze. After we tasted them, it was so hard to choose but we ended up going with Brownie Haze and added toasted marshmallow on top; a great compromise! We got it on a waffle cone and we were able to check out smoothly. We enjoyed the ice cream in the store and were tempted by our friends' flavors to definitely come back and grab ice cream whenever we're in the area. Their matcha was also so good! They have some creative ice cream toppings such as the toasted marshmallow which I thought was really cool. I got the cookies and cream and the chocolate ice cream. We got two medium cups of ice cream, one with Nutella topping and one with Oreo topping. The total came up to $23 which was a bit surprisingly especially for the size of the medium cup. Just something for customers to keep in mind as there are other ice cream shops who are a little less pricey. Overall quality of the ice cream was great so I would return!

The food was average at best and overpriced I ordered the brigadeiro latte which did not come hot as a latte should, it was half cold and for almost $10, not worth it. My sister in law ordered the Ham and cheese croissant, which again for the price of $16 was not worth it-I've had better at Burger King. I ordered the bacon Benedict which was just alright, you can tell they don't use high quality ingredients, definitely not worth the $21 price tag. What really surprised me was the included tip for a table of 2. All in all we spent over $50 for the two mediocre plates and one coffee.
